I have to say that the people behind the counter, the cinnamon rolls and the pebbled ice make this the best place to get gas, treats and drinks in Spanish Fork.

When I think of the word sandwich, I think of jimmy johns. Why? Because they make the absolute best sandwiches I've ever had. You are always welcomed with a heart warming smile that just makes you feel special. It is such a good environment to sit down, relax and enjoy a sandwich made from the heavens. So I give them the rating of perfection. Eat here. You won't be disappointed.

This is a decent option for a good meal in South UT County. It is in the old Pier 49 pizza location and still has a nautical theme to it. They serve Mexican an Seafood according to the sign. I was a little leery to eat at this place in the beginning I must admit. I mean, Mexican and Seafood? The sign might as well have said cupcakes and beer. I love them both but found it a bit odd that they are served at the same place. When you walk in you can smell the seafood. If you are not a fan of the shore you may want to rethink your visit. (Who doesn't love the ocean?) We are always seated pretty quickly. They do get a little busy on Fri and Sat nights. Don't worry too much about that, they have extra seating in the back. I will tell you that I love the Chile Relleno here. You get a choice of cheese (my fav), chicken, beef or pork. Most place only have cheese. The tacos show up to the table crispy, not soggy like they have been sitting in juice waiting around. The beans and rice are well......beans and rice. Our server was okay as well, when he was not watching TV. He only missed our drink refills. The location is a bit old and it is in need of a remodel. I have yet to try any seafood here (still a little hesitant), but will be back to try it, one day. I do like to get take out from here though! One thing I will warn you on, DO NOT PARK IN THE SEGWAY PARKING LOT. No I don't mean we are a bunch of Segway driving fools here, I mean the Segway store. The owner does not have an agreement with them on the parking situation. Park in the street. The Lord of the Segway store will boot your car and have you pay a fine. If you don't he will have you towed. All in all? Good food, good location, decent service, in need of a remodel and crappy parking. I recommend you give it a try if you are in town for a week and are looking for a place to eat on day two or three.
As far as a good meal for a good price, there aren't many restaurants in Utah that can compare with Los 2 Potrillos. I've ordered more than 10 dishes here and they are all very good quality. The chef used to run a restaurant in California and he keeps up with his connections to bring in good quality seafood. The food is never greasy and bursting with flavor. The portions are very generous, and they don't compromise on quality. The only people I've met that don't love this place are people that care more about ambience than what they eat. I don't care about that so I give it a perfect rating.
This is definitely the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at in Utah. The tacos were fantastic, chili relleno excellent, and the rice and beans incredible. I only wish it were located closer to home. I'll come back any time I'm in Spanish Fork.

Great little place. Staff is super friendly and the lattes are fantastic. Glad they are so close to where I'm staying.
Great coffee and nice baristas, this is the place for coffee in Spanish Fork. Forget Starbucks!
Local is always better - don't waste your time or money on the Starbucks up the street. The owner here is a really friendly guy, and the baristas are all friendly and talented. Some of the best drinks in Utah. Best in Utah county for sure. Their chai is the best I have ever had. The breakfast paninis are tasty, too.

Hands down - the best breadsticks and/or cheese sticks anywhere I have been from east to west coast. The marinara dipping sauce is even better. You'll be pleasantly surprised. The pizza is good. I go for the sticks. Its probably the pizza joint that pulls repeat business for breadsticks and/or sauce.
We got the Combo pizza and cheese bread. Both were good. Place is kind of small and a little warn. Staff was very nice and friendly. Pretty quick service.
Eh, it's OK food. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there but if you just happen to be right in front of it...then sure it's edible and satisfying. I can think of several chains and at least 5 other independent pizza places I'd rather have.

If you are hankering for a good sandwich this is the place. Plenty of meat and cheese with thick cut homemade bread and all the fixings you select. Only order a whole sandwich if you really hungry or you are going to share because it is BIG! They have all kinds of mouthwatering bake goods for dessert. A place you must visit if you are in the area.
Love hanging out with the good folk of Spanish Fork while eating a dang good sandwich. Hickory Kist makes their sandwiches fresh and big. You create it on paper and they'll assemble it. I always get turkey and cranberry because it makes my insides smile. Soups are good too!
Love the sandwiches, the peanut butter bars, the soup. It's all great here. The sandwiches are huge and they put plenty of meat and cheese on them. Their hickory smoked turkey is delish, probably my favorite meat on a sandwich. Could be a little less expensive, but I still like it!

The Italian Place

Reviews:
There's something so comforting about The Italian Place's Steak-N-Everything sandwich. Not only does it take me back to the 80's, but it's flavorful and satisfying. I order the half-size Philly-N-Everything, (cream cheese instead of provolone) and I'm stuffed. Their standards come with sliced steak, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes. They also offer some great-sounding sandwiches and salads I've never tried. It's going to be my New Year's resolution to try something new here at least every other visit, because I'm not strong enough to cold-turkey my Philly. Be prepared to eat any of their sandwiches while fresh and hot. I've delayed eating for a variety of reasons, allowing the sandwich to cool off. This transforms it from a sandwich of wonder and deliciousness to something looking and tasting like The Walking Dead. You may as well toss it if this happens. I try not to go during the lunch rush because the place is nuts. I've never eaten in here, but would if necessary. The dining area is clean, pleasant, and seems to be well-appointed. Service is typically passable, without much personality, but who cares...the sandwich is great. They're usually fast getting your food out if there's no line, and although it's not cheap (like it used to be!), the prices are not unreasonable for what you get. A 4″ (half) is $5, the 8″ (full) is $7, and the 10″ (monster) is $9.39. Not your traditional Philly Steak sandwich. This is Utah's own version. Try it. You may like it as much as I do.
Go here. Get a Steak N' Everything. Be happy! These aren't traditional, authentic Philly Cheesesteaks. They are "pepper steaks." I think they've adopted the word cheesesteak, due to the explosion in popularity of the Philadelphia delicacy. These sandwiches haven't changed a bit since I was a kid in the 70's and there's no reason for them to change. The Italian Place has added several new sandwiches and variations over the years, but the Steak N' Everything is still where it all begins and ends for me. YUM! And contrary to some douche-wad, this location is NOT CLOSED! It's open for bizness.
Their cheesesteaks are ok. Nothing truly special. The country music they were playing while I was waiting for my food took away from the so called "Italian place". A little too much pepper on the meat but the bread was excellent.

One of the first restaurants I visited when I moved into town and after three years I keep coming back! The best sit down Chinese food I've found in the state. Fried wonton skins are a great snack while you wait. Food is in good portions at reasonable prices. The owners are incredibly friendly and attentive as well, highly recommended!
It's cheap buffet Chinese food. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for it and satisfied, bus as far as quality goes, this doesn't make the cut. Good cheap lunch spot if you're simply in the mood for cheap Chinese and all you can eat.
My husband and I just recently moved to Spanish Fork and were looking for a local place to eat. I found Lucky 5 on Yelp and we thought we'd try it out. We were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the Chef's Suggestion dinner with Singapore Noodles and Sesame chicken. Our meal came with soup, fried shrimp and dumplings. I got the Wonton soup and it was really good! My husband ate the shrimp and I ate the dumplings. They were fried to perfection and super tasty! Then our entrees were delivered. The Singapore Noodles were our favorite; thin noodles cooked with chicken, pork and eggs (normally with shrimp too, but we had them put it on the side). They had a curry-like flavor that we liked. The sesame chicken wasn't bad, but it was a bit too sweet for our tastes. It was crispy and hot, it just tasted a little bit like maple syrup. The service was great and prompt. Our drinks were never empty, we were checked on several times, and were recommended what dishes we should try. We'll definitely be dining there again and are looking forward to trying some of the other entrees.

I love the food at Little Acorn. It's wonderful American burger and sandwich fare all made with fresh baked bread. The shakes are good too! Enjoyable.
We use to stop here as kids many moons ago when we use to drive through Spanish Fork. I stopped by a few days ago for a quick bite and to relive some old memories. Sadly the burger and fries I ordered were pretty bland. All frozen stuff, nothing special. The decor still seems to be the same from 25 years ago. The high school kids working weren't very friendly either, or just didn't care. Too bad this place has remained stagnant. Hopefully one day it will come back to life. (Photo included)
This was a great little place that we found coming back from the Hot Springs. I boight the Shadow Sandwich and it blew my mind. Really good fry sauce too

This is our absolute favorite dine-in Mexican restaurant in Utah Valley. The chips & salsa are always served fresh, the horchata is EXCELLENT, and the food is authentic and top-notch. I especially recommend the carne asada platter!
Tasty tasty tasty. Always get the #13 and it's always good. The chile relleno is always done right and has medium spice most times. Rice is great! Love the service. Very quick.
