The french fries are so good. Exactly what fries should be. Even better, Pig Out delivers to Willie's Lounge next door. The owner was very kind and did not give me a hard time about making an order 10 minutes before closing. The place smelled like delicious food. i will definitely be back.
Pig Out is so delicious! The brisket is tender and fatty, the pork is so moist, the ribs literally fall off the bone and Toko, the owner and chef, is the sweetest guy and an amazing chef. If you want legit barbecue, there's no other place in town.
OMG. I love the bigger portions to feed my appetite for BBQ. When I went for, my first time here, it was a little slow, but believe me, it was worth the wait and the guy whom took our order and while we waited since there were orders before ours, was way polite. I was understanding. Definitely coming back for more and has been so far the best BBQ place I have tried so far in SLC.

Thai on the Fly

Reviews:
So the other day, I decided to try out Thai on the Fly because I had a buy one, get one free coupon. As another reviewer had correctly noted, it is in an industrial area (some would even say seedy). It is well tucked away between all the mega factories and if you don't drive slow enough (as in crawl like an ant), chance is, you will probably miss it. It is VERY small and blends into the environment VERY well. With that said, however, the quality of the food was not bad at all. I ordered a panang curry and a kwai deo. Since it is my experience that Thai restaurants in Salt Lake do not put enough spice in the food to make it authentic (dumbing down for "Westerners," I guess), I decided to specify medium spicy. Boy, was that a mistake! (Well, not a "mistake," just a "miscalculation.") When I got home and tried out the curry, it was pretty intense, and when I got to the kwai deo, OMG! I nearly DIED! If this was considered 3 out of 5, then I could not even imagine what 5 would be like. (Probably inedible for me?) But that just shows that just because they are tucked away, they brand themselves as a Thai FAST FOOD place, and the prices are cheaper than most other gourmet Thai restaurants, it doesn't mean they cannot go the direction of authentic. Plus, the cooking staff were VERY accommodating, and while the sign outside said free apple salad IF you dine in, they let me take it to go anyway. Very, very nice! Oh, and even if you don't have a coupon, there is NOTHING on the menu over $10...which is a diamond in the rough in Salt Lake... I just hope that given all the mega factories over there, they derive a lot of their business from the folks who work in those factories. Because I can hardly imagine too many people from the residential areas of Salt Lake going "out of their way" to come here, unless they're die hard fans of AUTHENTIC Thai food like myself! :)

Buy a pound of this, and a pound of that. This is pretty much the only place (if not, please let me know) location that is dedicated to selling traditional Chinese meat in this type of set-up. From duck, pork, and chicken, to beef short ribs and other things - this is a very good place to get it! Prices are a bit high, but what can you do if no one else has it like this?
This restaurant offers a wide variety of Asian dishes, but they specialize in BBQ. I've tried the duck, steamed and soy sauce chicken, BBQ pork and cuttlefish, but my absolute favorite is the roasted pork. Everything else was just okay. I would recommend getting a plate of that with a side of rice rather than a combination plate because you'll get more meat. Their soups are huge and can be shared with the whole table. It's a nice appetizer before enjoying what this place is all about.
This place is always full of Chinese people...period. Best Cantonese style BBQ in the valley. I buy my roast duck and Chinese doughnut rice roll here. Been coming here since they opened in 2013 and have always impressed me every visit. This is where I take my parents when they come into town.

Reviews:
I heard about how great this place is being 50% off and that the rolls were good, so I was excited to finally try it out. When I did come with some friends, the service was slow and negligent. I asked for a straw that never came and my friends requested a to-go box after paying for their meal that took 30 minutes to arrive. The prices are good after the 50% off, but the quality of fish isn't good...the salmon and tuna were close to being similar colors when they should be distinctly different. The rolls are also small and not delicately prepared. The rolls came out messy and there was huge disappointment. I won't be coming back. However, if my friends decide to plan our next get together here & I had to come back, I'd avoid the rolls and maybe try their Korean food.
This place is legit, and the most affordable sushi you will find on top of that. That said, one has to accept that for such good food so cheaply, certain things are sacrificed. The people running this place clearly don't know much about running a restaurant. They are clearly understaffed. There is generally no host and there are not enough waiters for the amount of tables they seat, so waits can be quite long when they are busy, even after you've been seated. The last time we were there my table ended up writing down our order and finding a waiter to hand it to. The time before that, we were left standing at the front so long without anyone talking to us that we eventually just went and sat ourselves (we bussed a table ourselves that hadn't been cleaned). These are the lengths my friends and I will go to for the Blue Finn roll. If you go into it thinking of it as an amusing experience, where you will get to eat some great food for cheap, you may not mind. And if you don't go during the busiest hours, you will find the service decent. I believe that the longer they are open, they will figure things out a bit more. Right now it is just clear that they are all pretty green at working in a restaurant.
Very nice and quiet atmosphere. Perfect place to bring your kids here. I will definately come back. The rolls were surprisingly good, fits perfect in your mouth!

Been to this location a few times as it's only a five min drive to get there and love that it has a drive thru so I can look like hell and not be judged! Service has always been fun, friendly, and of course freaky fast! Bootlegger is my solid go to choice. Pickles and peppers are good as well as oregano and am a big fan of their bread. This will always be a fav place of mine for a quick sandwich.
I'd say this deserves 3.5 stars. They're not bad. The sandwiches are kinda plain, but tasty. They live up to the "freaky fast" catchphrase. It's nice that they have a drive thru. Just a good place if you want a decent sandwich and you're in a hurry.
This place is a serious nightmare, my business has ordered from this place many, many times. They can never get an order right, not once I have the gotten an order correct. Not only that but this store is not freaky fast at all anywhere from 25 minutes to an hour, even for just a single order! Even after speaking with the head manager of the store about it twice!! on two separate occasions. I was promised that things would get better but it has not. The people and the management are incompetent! Jimmy Johns will never have my business again! If I could give 0 stars I would

Big Daddy’s Pizza

Reviews:
This particular location was by far the worst Big Daddys Pizza I've been to. It was filled with grease, and tasted nothing like any Big Daddys Pizza I've ever had. I was greatly disappointed. And quite disgusted.
Seriously, you get what you pay for, but the price sucks! I got the smallest pizza and wings and it was $30!!!!!!! Insane!!! The wings didn't taste very good and the pizza wasnt made right. My husband had a greasy plate practically...I'm disappointed...
If you're looking for cheap pizza, Big Daddy's is the way to go. Since I tried their 5$ pizza (6$ for pepperoni), I haven't been back to Little Caesar's once. It's just a much higher quality pizza, and it's always fresh. I've never had one that looked gross or had bubbles in the crust or cheese. They guys who work there are super chill, too. You really can't go wrong. I've only gotten specialty pizzas a couple of times, so I can't speak to their quality too much, but both times they were delicious. Their Bubba Bread is okay if you like plain breadsticks, but the real masterpiece is the garlic cheesy bread. You can't go wrong.
