Every time I come into Cache Valley I get excited to get some Garlic's pizza. This time we have just concluded a week in NYC, sampling the best pizza joints in the city--and we were excited to say that Garlic's was still some of our very favorite Pizza. Lo and behold, like a spear to my heart, we called and found Garlic's CLOSED DOWN! NOOOOO! Smithfield was, for a brief, shining moment, a better place. Only the good die young. You will be missed.

Fantastic! The pizza was very well made and cooked to perfection, not over cooked and not soggy. We decided to try it on a whim and I'm so glad we did. The toppings were fresh and tasted fabulous. Will be coming back soon!

Loved this place. Came into town to visit and got the family special. The salad was awesome with artichoke hearts and everything, no cheating out on ingredients. Garlic sticks were great. We did half Venetian half Alfredo, both were awesome. The desert was amazing as well. We live in Vegas with Las Vegas and this was better than most places there. Steven was a great server, Nikki is great too.

Glad I finally checked this place out. Friendly staff, comfortable environment with plenty of booth seating. The pizza was some of the best I've EVER had and the breadsticks rivaled my mom's! I ate mine with their garlic marinara. The owner was over the top friendly and accommodating. We will become regulars here, they are doing everything right. I'm glad to know there's finally someplace in Smithfield worth the drive from Logan.

Who knew little Smithfield could get this good of pizza! From the quality of pizza, to the fun ambience, to the friendly service, I was quite pleased that I stopped by. There are a couple things that I really like about pizza...fresh toppings and a good tasting crust. Garlic's Pizzeria had both of them. The toppings weren't like those dehydrated frozen pizza style, they were fresh and and there was plenty to be had (no skimping). The crust wasn't cardboard thin, nor was it deep dish thick. When I ate it, I found myself wanting to eat the crust at the end. With some pizzas it's not worth eating the crust (whether you're counting calories or just not loving the taste of it), however with this pizza you won't want to leave it on your plate. It was very tasty and perfect thickness. If you want an appetizer, go with the Bruschetta Al Pomodoro! It's a french bread slice, with garlic, tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic and ground pepper. I was a little hesitant to try it, but I loved it. The service was great too. The owner (Mike) is super nice and makes you feel very welcome. I'm definitely going back!

This place was recommended by a friend. Stopped by to give it a try. Awesome pizza, cheese was great. Meat was spicy and full of flavor and the sauce was perfect with a light garlic taste. Yummmy. Will be back to sample other items on the menu.

I think they opened yesterday so this is really new! We wanted a place we could see the NBA game and sure enough they have a room with a TV so that is a plus. The decor is really nice and the wood plates are an authentic flavor and add to the ambience. Plenty of servers and the owner was very friendly and nice! Food was reasonably priced and you get plenty. We shared a panini which comes with a salad. Salad was gourmet with a variety of greens, tomatoes, croutons, olives, artichoke. (Salads rank very high in my book and this was a good salad). I tried the basil vinegarette which was amazing! If you like chunky blue cheese you will like there's. The ranch was brought out with breadsticks and it was really good as well. The panini was good I would have liked a little more sausage but the flavor was so satisfying. It had a green dressing on it that wad so savory! Dessert pizza was fun! Chocolate mini chips, cream cheese frosting, Carmel sauce, nice ending to a great meal. They also had a brownie choice but I think it would be the best if the brownie could be served with or without ice cream on top.

Wow! What an unexpected surprise. We just thought we'd try Garlics since it was close by and we were in a hurry. It was so good. Bread sticks were amazing, crust was awesome, and our chicken Alfredo pizza (with added bacon, of course) was amazing. We'll be returning for sure. And, we had a family deal coupon from hometown values that got us a TON of great food for not much dinero. Go try it. You won't regret it.

Garlics has done great with the space and food! The barbecue chicken bacon is one of the best I've had. We tried a brownie dessert and it was excellent. Overall a great place and accommodating to large groups. Worth a try!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
