We are local and eat at Jeff's Hot Rod Diner every Saturday for breakfast. The food is good and fresh and served hot off the grill. The owner Jeff and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Place your order with changes is not a challenge like some old one man band locations in the area. Try it, you'll like it

Quaint restaurant owned and operate by a funny bunch of folks. Food was good enough -- diner food. The novelty is that you call your food in from the booth. You literally pick up this red phone (think the Batphone from the campy Batman series) and order your food. It's a cute idea, but I'm not sure I'm the biggest fan. For one, you have to touch a handle that has been touched by tons of people already. Don't ask your germaphobe friend to order. Second, it's weird to basically be on the phone with some standing ten feet from you -- I could easily yell my order over. When it's busy, I suppose it's more practical. When things are slow, though, it's kind of awkward. I'd give it a 3.5.

Stopped in here after day in the desert. Food was good, service was good, and it was clean. Scones were excellent. Good end to our day.

Ok food. Service is a little odd and slow. Once you sit down, you need to "call in" your order. OK, but what happens when they don't answer? It took about 15 minutes to get our order placed. I might go back, but there is an A&W closer.

this place is awesome, the people are very friendly and great fast food... I have been to the one in Sp Fork and they are stupid and rude there.. I only wanted ham instead of bacon and you would think i asked for a million dollars with the prodction they made of it.. and Payson is just nasty dirty ( anyway the last time i was there) What does that last lady expect "one man band" ya you need to sit down and order then go get your food but its a cool little diner... I highly suggest this location...
