Great food, great service, very reasonably priced. Best Chinese food in Ogden. Tip: go during lunch and get their lunch specials. For less than $6 you will be stuffed AND have enough to take home for another meal or two.

For authentic Chinese cuisine, this wouldn't be my recommendation. I always end up eating here since there are a lot of graduation and birthday parties that family/friends choose to rent out the basement for. Small parking space which makes it difficult during the busy events. Although it's not what I consider authentic, I do really enjoy the Lo Mein and the Pepper Salt Pork Chop. Everything else is okay. For parties, they provide the food buffet style. As the food runs out, they replenish the supply with freshly cooked trays. One of the biggest complaints I have is that they don't provide Sriracha sauce! I don't even feel like that makes sense at a Chinese restaurant...

Big portions of mediocre food. Not terrible. Not great. Decent pricing for what you get. Good for large groups. The servers are a little disorganized and would repeat questions occasionally. I wish they would have explained the "appetiezer plate" that came with our "A Family Dinner". There was a packet of meat that we weren't sure was pork or chicken. The rib was very tough. The shrimp and snow peas were the best part of the dinner. We probably won't bother going there again, especially since it is on the wrong side of the messed up Roy intersection from where we live.

Best ever. The mixed meat and vegetables are great. The owner always comes to our table to see if we are happy with our meal.

Vegetable mu shu is like little Asian tacos with really cool looking mushrooms and plum sauce. It's so good! The atmosphere is really nice, one of the best around

I liked the food overall, but wasn't impressed by the won-tons or egg rolls; there's better options out there. However, I would go back. Majority of reviewers appear to have experienced good and friendly service; we must have gone on an off night or something. They weren't especially helpful, and smiles were non-existent.

We walked in and we were not greeted the place is run down, and dirty. I went into the bathroom and it was dirty things were falling apart I had the worst feeling so got back to my table and picked up a broken menu basically fell apart in my hand. Couldn't find anything for kids so asked the waitress that walked by and she said they don't have anything for kids. We decided to leave cause it just didn't seem like a place that we would be satisfied with. When we left my husband said the toilet had seamen all over it like some one had just rubbed one out. I will never go there again and I'm so happy that we didn't stay to eat I'm so sick to my stomach!

I Love the tangerine beef! Crispy, sweet and a tiny bit spicy. Service is always prompt and the egg drop is always hot. Egg rolls are really good but the fried shrimp aren't my favorite. The amount of food you get is insane! I have yet to finish an entire plate of food, always happy to take the leftovers home and most the time my Wife and I get out of there for less than $20 (before tip). It's our favorite Chinese restaurant. We will drive to Roy from Layton any time we are in the mood for Chinese because we k of they won't disappoint.

I love this Chinese food! ABC Chicken, Tangerine Beef and Vegetable Lo Mein are my favorites. Some of the other dishes have WAY too much sauce/gravy. Service is always great.

Love this restaurant! It has the best Chinese food north of Salt Lake. The service is good too. I highly recommend going.

Uh, the food tasted alright. I've had better. The place was pretty dead. I was not impressed with the hostess and definitely not impressed with our server. Not one smile the whole time. Gave me attitude when I asked for a refill on my soda. And was trying to short change me when paying my check.

ABC is delicious. I always get the ABC chicken combo. Growing up in the area my family always went to Lucky China which is just down the street. After trying ABC I would never go back, the food is just so much more flavorful. If you're in the area definitely check it out.

Fresh flavors, we have been coming to ABC for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. ABC chicken is my favorite sweet and just a little bit of spice.

Good food. Awesome service. We tried this place for the first time recently. Most Chinese restaurants around here are empty or have only one or two tables of guests. This place was hopping when we arrived. I thought that was a good sign, and I wasn't disappointed! We will definitely be back. ABC Chicken is fabulous!

First let me say that I've only eaten the food from here three times, once to-go and twice they catered a lunch at work, never dine in. It's average, that's all three stars average.

A B C Mandarin is absolutely fantastic!! I always get ABC Chicken and House Special Lo Mein. If it's your birthday the owner will come and serenade you with his mandolin . The staff is so friendly and courteous, the food is amazing, and the owner serenades you.. what more could you ask for?? If you're in the area I definitely recommend you stop and give this place a shot! You won't regret it. Oh, and Tony L., you're biggest knock on this place is that it's not 110% authentic? Ya dude.. I'm pretty sure they eat dog over there.. so if that's really what you want in a chinese restaurant I suggest you visit a dog pound or something. Everyone else, you'll love this place!!

I'm 110% positive that this place does not serve authentic Chinese food. As with name suggested, this place serves Chinese food for ABC (American-born Chinese), which means Americanized Chinese food. When you first walk in, the atmosphere feels like any other Chinese restaurant with a traditional layout and decorations, and everything seems clean. They also have a basement level for party hosting. The services were decent and are always willing to comply with change requests. I tried a few items on the menu after coming here several times. The most popular dish here is the ABC Chicken, which is really just a renamed version of Sesame Chicken without the sesame, and it tasted very sweet almost like putting a spoon full of sugar in your mouth, disappointing. Other entrees such as the noodles and mix veggie dishes were all very disappointment. Sweet and bland seems to be the theme of this restaurant. I got fried rice instead of steamed rice here once and it tasted very bland and old like rice that had been sitting the fridge for a few days. The soup and egg rolls were both uninteresting and generic. Judging from an authentic Chinese food standard, this place definitely serves food I rate at the disgusting level, but to be fair and rate it at an Americanized Chinese food standard, I would put it at the average level. Aside event gatherings, I would avoid this place under all circumstances.

My husband and I happened upon this place by chance. It soon became our favorite destination for Chinese cuisine in the Weber County area. We've dined there over thirty times which proves it's worth a try. Our favorites are the Tangerine Beef and the ABC Chicken. The Won Ton soup is also very good. If you prefer more traditional dishes such as Beef and Broccoli or Sweet, Sour Pork, or Lemon Chicken you won't be disappointed with the offerings. The food is plentiful and fairly priced. One of the things that makes this place a stand out is that the owner frequently circulates through the dining room personally entertaining his guests on Asian musical instruments.

While very much an Americanized Chinese food experience, I enjoy the ABC Mandarin. My family has been coming here for years and while it definitely is not authentic Chinese, the dishes are still tasty. My personal favorite is the Tangerine Beef, which is not as sweet as many of the dishes unfortunately are.

I like this place. I've been coming here since I was a kid and keep coming back. It's definitely not authentic Chinese but who wants to eat chicken feet anyways? I'm tired of those "purist Chinese fooders" out there complaining that it's not authentic. It's the best American Chinese in town and that's saying a lot because there's a lot of competition.

This is the greatest Chinese food ever! I love the ABC chicken and the sweet and sour pork. The service is great; the atmosphere is very nice; and the prices are more than reasonable. Love this place!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly.
