We always love coming here for over two years now. It's long over due to talk about our experiences here. This Jim's location is a franchise. We know the founder of the WVC location. This location is our rock! We can always depend on a good if not great experience. Compared to the other locations this is the "Flag ship"!!! Believe me, I know. My first visit to Jim's in SLC was over 22 years ago. I've visited all of them. Including the ones that under a new name (former employee owned), closed, burned down and rebuilt, etc. Come here if you like genuine service, food done like at home, and a great atmosphere. It won't disappoint. If it does I question your attitude and experience with dining. We love our Jim's in Riverton.

Terrible customer service. We were told the wait would be 15 minutes for 6 people. After waiting for 35 minutes I went up to the hostess to ask how much longer. Not only could she not tell me how long but was very rude and gave me serious attitude. I asked to speak to the manager and when she came out I was treated the same way. I don't care how long the wait is or how many people you have yelling at you there is no reason you should treat a customer with disrespect. Needless to say I will not be returning.

This is the cleanest Jim's I've been to. Clean dining room and clean restrooms. Standard chain fare, big portions, decent prices. We usually leave happy--and full! My kids ask to come almost once a week. Love the chicken noodle soup- probably my favorite for flavor and loaded with chunky veggies and tender chicken. Service can sometimes be slow, which is why it's only a 4 star review.

If you're looking for some good hearty food, awesome value and good service then Jim's could be what you are looking for. This has become a go to place for me for brunch of late. This location has a nice open atmosphere and is definitely better than other similar chains for larger groups or for families with lots of kids. It can be a little loud as a result. Food wise, it definitely makes the grade at this price level, in fact for the portion sizes (I can never finish) it is incredible value for money. On top of that the food is really good and hearty too. Some favorites of ours: * Jim's Breakfast - 3 eggs with two meats of your choice over cheese and potato. * Chicken Fried Steak Skillet. * Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. * California Burger - comes with really good fries and fry sauce too. Pancakes are awesome here, and large, plus they come with multiple syrups including my favorite, blueberry. Service is very friendly on every visit, and generally attentive. It does get a little slow when they are busy, but generally it's never been a big issue. When you put this all together it's a solid 4 star experience on all fronts, and value wise really hard to beat. Definitely somewhere we will continue to visit regularly.

I order the 6oz Sirloin Special. Steak was a bit overcooked. However, it came with two eggs, hash and a side of 3 DELICIOUS HUGE pancakes. Unlimited coffee and it was all $10. Great value. I would definitely visit again!

I live nearby and this is my go to restaurant when no one knows what they want to eat. It's got a variety of foods and you can have breakfast lunch or dinner anytime. The waitresses I have had the pleasure of meeting are prompt and cordial even with my more needy friends. I love it here. Great job guys

I'm giving a 4 for breakfast but dinner is a definate 3. I'd really like to see you start using real types of lettuce and get rid of the iceberg. I'd also like to see a chargrill for things like fish and chicken breasts. The flat grill you use is good for breakfast items but not so good for dinner items. Also, I am a tuna fan, up the price of your sandwich and use Albacore.

I didn't like the food at all! This location is to open, it kinda feels like your eating in a really big room where everybody gets to watch you! They have fake creamer for coffee, fake butter, and food felt like it was from a can !

The food is really yummy Our service is normally pretty good but today a little slower!!! Took 10 min to come over to greet us. I understand things happen and that is why I still think they are awesome. The price is fair
