To start with this is drive in quality food. Quick and tasty. Burger had good texture. I had the western cheese burger. They use grilled white onion not onion rings. Bacon cooked perfectly. BBQ sauce was good. Fries had the right amount of seasoning. Which went together perfectly with fry sauce. Burger had the right amount of drip. Wife had normal cheese burger she liked it and hit the spot of a craving she has had for a while. Overall this is the spot to eat in the small town of Richfield. Forget the chains and it was 13 bucks for the 2 of use.

I love little places like this. The burgers were great and the fries and motzo sticks were also good. And so CHEAP. Definitely better than stopping at a chain fast food place if you're driving through i70

I am a vegetarian and if you have any dietary restrictions this is not the place for you (the only "vegetarian" items are a grilled cheese, fries and mozzarella sticks). the food is pretty average at best (similar to a Denny's in my opinion) but if you're hungry and are in desperate need of food this place will do. I'd probably be more into it if I grew up/lived in this area (or ate meat) but that's not the case. I kinda dread having to come here with friends when I'm in town.

We came here because of the reviews on yelp. It is the only reason we stopped in. I should have relied on my first reaction and left before ordering. The food was not good. Bathroom had broken paper towel dispenser and the employees didn't seem to care when informed. The shakes are thick and good. Two stars is generous.

Love Sandis! Always a great burger and fries. Good selection of burgers and toppings. Ice cream is the best. Staff is always really nice. Stopped after a movie to get my girl a Sundae and it was on the house. Pretty cool for people I don't even know. Skip the chains and go here.

Cute & clean little dinner. Counter service & they brought out our lunch quickly. Yummy burgers. The family order of fries was huge & delicious. My husband tried the sweet pork BBQ & said it was great. Their drinks have pebble ice which we love!

We came here for dinner while we were spending the night in Richfield. My husband and I both enjoyed our dinners and we will return! You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you.

Enjoyed the burger I had..wife also approved! Onion rings were superb though! Young man helping us at the counter was very polite, patient and soft spoken. Will definitely be stopping when traveling through in the future.

Stopped by for a couple milk shakes. Lots of flavor combos available. Glancing at menu board place offers wide variety of standard fare but cheap prices.

This place was awfully. One reviewer wrote this giant review and set our expectations high. We got a couple shakes, fries, a burger and chicken nuggets. All were terrible. Would have preferred mcdonalds. Or even a bag of chips from the gas station. Reviewer also mentioned the nice service. The woman that took our order was rude. "What type of shake is the most popular?" Her response "I don't know I haven't tasted them". Bathroom was awful too. Drive through this town and stop somewhere else on your long drive. Or go to mcdonalds.

I live in Las Vegas, but my family all lives in Denver. Therefore, we find ourselves travelling along this part of I-70 4 or 5 times per year. Sandi's Drive Inn is a MUST STOP for us. We've never actually gone in to eat because we are always in a rush, though I have jumped out to use their restrooms once or twice while my wife ran through the drive thru for food. The interior of this place is kinda 50's sock hop, only REALLY small. Maybe 6 wooden bench-booth tables (think a small McDonald's seating area) and single person bathrooms. Both times I went in, the tables and floors were all clean, and the bathrooms were spotless. Their food is awesome. Large portions of hearty food fried to your heart's delight. If you are dieting, or looking for salads, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. But if you love good fried comfort food, you will not regret it. Their fries are great, and their large order is about 3/4 of a pound. Their burgers are delightful. Their chicken strips are amazing. Their onion rings are crisp and tasty. Their hot dogs are also pretty high-quality, but basically for me a hot dog is a hot dog. As good as their food is, it does not compare to their shakes. if you've read a lot of my other reviews, I'm a sucker for a good quality shakes, and will drive miles out of my way for a good one. The shakes at Sandi's are some of the best I've ever had. (If you are from Utah and know the reference, I actually like these shakes better than the shakes at Sconecutters, and that's very high praise indeed.) Their shakes are fresh, spoon-required-thick, and chock full of the ingredients of your choice....something closer to a DQ Blizzard than an actual milkshake. But they have about 30 or 40 varieties to choose from. The rice krispie treat shake is amazing. The peach cobbler shake is outstanding. The creme brulee shake is indescribable. Even their "standard" flavors like chocolate and strawberry are good, though after trying the peach cobbler, I'll never waste a trip here on a strawberry milkshake again. ***For the Management*** (since I noticed that the manager posted a review, hopefully they will see this) For about the last 18 months or so, EVERY SINGLE TIME we have stopped through, it has been the same kid working the drive-thru window. I've never caught his name, but he's about 18 or 19, very clean cut looking kid with short cropped blonde hair. If I ever open a restaurant, I want every employee who works for me to be this kid. He is amazing with customer service, incredibly friendly, always smiling, seems to love his job, knows how to joke with customers without being "too familiar', and is a downright pleasure to do business with. I have done a LOT of customer service training in my career, and this kid is beyond superb. If all of your staff is anything like him, your hiring process and training methods are to be commended. Give that dude a raise.

Passing through Richfield on my way back to San Diego and Sandi's is just what the Dr ordered after a long day on the road! no I'm not a Dr. but that's not the point of this review! The employees were nice and helpful. The cheese filled munchers are a tasty treat and the pepper jack bacon burger was big enough to fill me up but not oversized - great taste. It's a ways off the highway FYI - watch your speed through town I saw 3 cars pulled over and speed limit is only 30 smokies out in force. I think I have found my new go-to when travelling between Denver and So Cal. See ya next time!

THE GOOD Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well stocked restroom. Ample parking. The shakes come in 2 sizes and are thick. THE BAD Burger: Photos on the wall show the burger patty as thick as the bun. In reality the patty is maybe the thickness of 5 sheets of paper and cooked beyond well done. The burger consisted of one slice of tomato, the special sauce (mustard & ketchup), tablespoon of shredded lettuce, & 2 slices of pickle. Fries: Thick and undercooked. Milkshake: We ordered difference flavors, but with our eyes closed we unable to tell the chocolate from the strawberry, from the vanilla. THE OTHER I'll drive for miles to get a good burger; regardless of the previous reviews, based my experience, I'm unable to recommend Sandis. I'd keep driving.

Driving through town (first Time in Richfield) Got a chili cheese dog and chili cheese fry. Both were very hardy. Shake was pretty good also. In thinking of how many stars to give this joint, I have to ask myself, would I eat there again if I had the chance. I think I would, do 4 stars it is.

Best onion rings in town. Great burger joint menu with a huge selection of shakes. Friendly service, good prices, a little lacking on the cleanliness.
