I had eaten here only one time before and we enjoyed it, but the price is outrageous so we hadn't gone back. Saturday night we were going to a movie and decided to stop in. my daughters drinks had strings of mold in them. Yes, black chunky mold. It was so disgusting! there were ants all over our booth that we sat in. We ended up moving to a different spot and it was fine, but with everything, my husband and I were so grossed out, we vowed to never eat there again. I thought new management would bring in something great, but we were horrified instead!

This was our favorite pizza place when we lived in Bountiful, years ago. Every time we visited, we got Pier 49. Now that location closed. We were happy to find a location in Logan. Our favorites are Lombard Street, a delicious barbecue chicken with just the right amount of sauce. And Fisherman's Warf, a white sauce pizza with shrimp and imitation crab. A tasty combination. This location is now under new management. The quality has declined, and the prices have gone up. That's too bad, because they really had great pizza with unique sourdough crusts.

Please read this review carefully - My comment are focused on my own personal pizza preferences not relative to all pizzas. Problem #1: This is a very bready pizza. Not surprising as the brand is built around sourdough bread. The crust is very thick with little sauce and little cheese. Toppings are skimpy as they only cover the small area of the pizza with cheese and sauce. Problem #2: The toppings "look" processed. All pizza places buy their toppings in big plastic bags. Pier 49 toppings happen to look like they came out of a plastic bag. Problem #3: Price. Very expensive pizza pies for mostly bread. I can buy bread Old Grist Mill or Great Harvest Problem # 4: Maybe they use real sourdough starter for their crust - I don't know. It tastes artificial to me. I probably should not expect real sourdough at a pizza restaurant but given the prices, I would like something better. Praise: In my experience eating here (pick up) - the restaurant is clean. The cashiers are friendly.

We ordered The Tourist & The Cable Car - absolutely delicious! I personally recommend The Tourist. The dough/crust is amazing and you don't feel like you're eating a slice of grease! It's pretty costly, so save it for a nice date out.
