There's not much of a choice in Price, but this place doesn't rest on its laurels. The food is tasty if unspectacular. It's also very generously portioned, so go hungry. Service is friendly. We all had a good giggle because we ordered a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for a toddler in the party, which came with curly fries and a lettuce/tomato garnish.

Don't make the same mistake we did.. I would have rather skipped lunch than had the four hour stomach ache. The fries claim to be the best in town, however my lady said "I'd rather have McDonald's" after leaving half of our meal behind.

Despite the italian flag on the restaurant's sign this place reminded me of a quaint mom + pop joint with burgers, greasy french fries and the regular diner fare with a few italian options on the menu. Their burgers were huge. My husband and I ordered a double cheeseburger to share and ended up taking the second patty off our halves. Service was friendly and the restaurant itself was clean and nice.

The food here is not bad but a little pricey!! Hope you're not in a hurry, took over an hour to get food for my family of five. Three kids meals and two chicken salads. Waitress offered to take the drinks off the ticket though. ( kids drinks came with meal and the wife and I got water ) Would not recommend!!

This place is NOT GOOD for lunch. Maybe their breakfast is much better. I mean, really, how difficult is it to fry eggs and make hash browns and pancakes? I thought of giving this place the benefit of the doubt and giving it 3 stars, since it's in Price, Utah and the bar isn't set very high in this city. But the prices are just as high as anything you'd find in Salt Lake City, so I'm judging accordingly. The burgers and sandwiches are all $10-$12, if you get them with (the best curly) fries (in town) and a soup/salad. Otherwise, they're $7-$9 and served with chips. I opted for "Helen's Special" from the "Mexican Fare" section of the menu. It was $8.29 and it was a LARGE meal, so not a bad deal. It was essentially a ground beef burrito, with some green peppers, onions and tomatoes wrapped in a flour tortilla. It was also smothered with "green chile," which I guess is their attempt at chile verde. The hamburger meat was cooked to a crisp, not in a good way. The green chile was runny and appeared to be made from canned green chiles, but I can't say for sure. It didn't have much flavor and had zero heat. The curly fries that came with it were inedible. They were soggy, limp, and saturated with grease. Ketchup wouldn't even adhere to them. If these are the best curly fries in town, I need to stick with side salads. The burrito thing was food, and I ate enough to quell my hunger, but it was far from delectable. I didn't expect authentic Mexican food when I ordered it at this little diner, but I DID expect tasty, high-quality, food. I didn't get it. And for $13, with a drink tax and tip, it was NOT a good value, for less than mediocre food. I probably should've tried a cheeseburger, but the bacon cheeseburger combo was $11, without a drink, tax or tip, so I'm glad I made this a slightly less-expensive lesson learned.

We stopped here early one Saturday morning for breakfast. We were led here by a convenience store clerk and customer. How is is possible to make such thick pancakes - cooked all the way through? Bacon was great. Hash browns were great. Breakfast was really great and would love to go back, but who stops in Price?

Wow. And not the good wow, either. Please do yourself a favor (if you're not a local, who all really seem to love this place) and eat anywhere else--Wendy's or McDonalds would have been tastier and fresher (and we abhor such chains)! My husband got the Country Style Scramble platter: soaked in flavorless gravy, metallic tasting and uninspired. I got the Teriyaki chicken sandwich with a salad and fries. Here on Yelp you'll notice innumerable pictures of the mile-high curly fries. Don't be misled; they cram way too many into the fry bucket, plunge them into oil until the fries are all stuck together in a greasy mash, and serve them soggy. Another fun feature was my salad. It would behoove you to order your dressing on the side unless you prefer the lettuce to accompany a terrifying amount of dressing. No joke--I'm fairly sure there was an actual half cup of ranch on top of the iceberg, which made most of it inedible. Our small kids shared a fish and chips plate-- three scary and over fried from frozen wedges of sadness. Don't forget the fries on that one too: exactly the same as the first. Service was also lacking. Never were we asked if we wanted drink refills or checked at all for the quality of our food. No surprise there, in hindsight. :-)

It's an Italian restaurant that only serves 4 Italian meals?! My kid's spaghetti tasted like it came from a can, the clam chowder was more like separated potato soup. The service was slow, but understandably, because it was quite busy. On the flip side, my fries were GOOD and my sandwich was Ok. I guess we should have got the breakfast... Too bad.

For a great breakfast ask for hash browns smothered with green Chili. Side of toast and coffee and you're set for all day

True local fare and atmosphere. Right in the middle of town, the place is bustling with locals. All of the food we had was fresh and homemade, all tasty. Seriously good comfort food. We had burgers (which come with a mountain of homemade curly fries), sausage sandwich with a homemade bun, chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. We stuffed our selves, left happy, the bill was $42. Plus the service was great, everyone was so friendly. My son has tons of food allergies and they were very accommodating. There is no other place to eat in Price, Utah.

Farlaino's has been around as far back as I can remember. I remember my mom taking us for burgers and curly fries when I was just little. Amazingly, the burgers and the curly fries are just as good as they always have been. If you're in Price and want to have a great lunch or dinner, Farlaino's is a great spot. Yum!

Where to eat when passing through Price? Yes, a plethora of fast food options scream at you from the business loop. You could pop in to any one of many standard burger chains, sandwich shops, or other common roadside locales. And there's a time and a place for that kind of convenience, but feeling a little sassy and very yelpy, I decided to go looking for a more unique lunch spot. Thanks to the app I found this place listed down on the old portion of Main Street. We popped in to find a few of the good old boys bellied up to the diner bar and a menu full of diner dishes with a decidedly Italian slant to them. They also advertised on their menu that this is "where the locals eat!" As this was a late lunch (post 1pm) we settled on an Italian sausage sandwich that was composed of a homemade bun and their own blended Italian sausage. We opted for the taco soup and it came with curly fries. The bun was the shining star. It was the perfect host for the sandwich and it held up nicely. Second place goes to the pickles on the sandwich. Crisp, deli-style pickles that gave just enough sour punch. The home recipe sausage was good, but I wished it had a little more spice to it. Not the picante kind of spice (it actually did give a little burn) but it was a subtle sausage. Still tasty. The curly fries was exactly that--fries that were curly. They weren't totally crispy, but I'm actually a fan of the just-a-hint-of-sogginess fries so I ate em up. The decor is pretty simple. It's a small town diner, but I got a kick out of the old newspapers that were under that glass at each table. The old time ads for Dr. so-and-so's cure all tonic and news of who had just returned from Kansas City to sell their herds was a great touch and made for a good read while we waited (not long) for our food to arrive. Farlaino's is only open for breakfast and lunch, but makes for a unique stop when passing through. And if you're a local, this is where you have to eat. I mean, that's what the menu says, right?

Looking for an authentic local restaurant I found Farlaino's Cafe based on a sign along Route 6, saying "where the locals eat". I was hoping for Italian food, based on the name, the Italian Flag on display. Instead this was your average middle America diner. The Italian Dishes I could find on the menu, only 3 (?), were Spaghetti Marinara, Spaghetti with Meatballs, and Chicken Caccitore. The menu is mostly burgers and fries, and combinations of those. Chicken Noodle soup was very good. Overall though I found the food to be too greasy. I was hoping for a broader selection of Italian Food. The fries were good, however, they are super soaked in grease and hard to resist, although I think I just took a few years off my life. Prices were reasonable, the wait staff friendly. Seems like they could just add more variety to the menu and this would be a great place. WiFi is free, however, super slooooow

Farlaino's in Price, UT ranks right up there with The Pantry in Los Angeles, CA

Finally got in here for breakfast and it was by far the best in Price. I dont think I found breakfast this good and home made in Utah county either. The pancake was a good 16 inches across, biscuts and gravy was awsome. I thought the sausage was made in house but they have a joint in Helper make and it was the best breakfast sausage Ive ever had. Light seasoning but like a ground pork chop...really good. This is worth the travel and worth finding. Cant wait to try the lunch menu. Staff was fast and friendly, atmosphere was clean and well decorated. Ten out of ten for this breakfast junky!

There is absolutely nothing Italian about this place. Cheap filthy food smothered in half a gallon of sauce. Extremely disappointing.

Not a bad place but if you're hoping for italian you'll be disappointed. Definitely a locals hang out. I has their special which was chicken with rice pilaf. Good but not impressive. My wife had a cheeseburger which she was very happy about. I'd recommend it overall.

The clerk at the nearby hotel told us this was the best breakfast in Price, and while I have nothing to compare it to, I also have no complaints. The clerk (and my too-young waitress) recommended the southwestern skillet, a slightly overwhelming combination of potatoes, chicken, eggs, and green chile. It could do without the eggs, but was otherwise intensely satisfying for a big day. The coffee, however, smelled like Maxwell House, and was terrible.

What appeared to be an Italian place, Italian name & flags in the window, turned out to be a great diner. In short, come hungry. Ridiculously generous portions for about the cost of a national chain diner. And that's the only comparison I'd make to the national chains. This place was a time machine, looks of a diner from yesterday. Staff was friendly and personable, which may or may not be the case in small town businesses. Food was GREAT. the Philly Cheesesteak rivaled and exceeded most I've had in the country. We also had the breakfast burrito smothered in pork green chile. I'm picky about my green chile. This was adequate. The hash browns were freshly shredded potatoes, totally unique shred. Great browns. The curly fires served with the Cheese steak were also freshly sliced potato. BEST I've ever had. One frie was about 2 feet long, literally, They almost stole the show. Really good experience overall. We went in expecting Italian, and were glad we stayed anyway.

Friendly staff. Nice local atmosphere. Worth getting off the interstate. Big portions. I got the breakfast burrito. It was really good. Smothered in homemade green chile and had thick bacon inside.

Well from what I can gather there isn't much in this town but we needed a late lunch after being on the road for several hours. This place was just average. I wouldn't call it a cafe, diner or restaurant. Almost a food hall. I had the green chilli chicken sandwich. The entire bottom of th plate was swimming in sauce making the burger difficult to eat. My fiancé got the turkey sandwich which was very processed. Not much competition in Price so this might be the best option.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
