Love the fresh food. My favorite!
Good food, good service, great price, great location!
I need to start by saying that they make a burrito (the Five Alarm) that has tater tots in it. It's certainly the best tater tot filled burrito I've ever eaten. Seriously, I'm addicted and am not happy that they need to rub my face in the fact that it is "limited time." (Although I'm not sure what "limited time" means since it's been two years and it's still here). You can find less expensive tacos and burritos at Taco Bell (across the road), but this food tastes like food. You may not feel really great about yourself after eating here, but you'll at least feel better than a Taco Bell-ian. It is nice and clean (thanks in large part to the old lady constantly wiping the counters).

I base all my restaurant choices off Yelp reviews. Traveling back from Lake Powell with our large family we stopped at Big Dons pizza based solely off the few but positive reviews they had, it did not disappoint. The food came out fast, the service was beyond nice and accommodating to our large group. Bathrooms were very clean as was the rest of the restaurant. The Pizza was fresh and super delicious! Get the cheese breadsticks. We will defiantly make this place our new post Lake Powell tradition!
Understanding they are a pizza place. The pizza is very good. The red sauce they use has just a slight amount of spice, which I like. The ham on the Hawaiian is shredded with a good taste and I appreciate the texture. The cinnamon streusel was good. Though a bit dry. Should have gotten one of the fruit options. Got a Cesar salad with chicken. It was very middle of the pack. I will come back when I'm in town. Looking for Pizza highly recommend it.
We stopped in for a quick bite on our way to Durango. We were not prepared for the warehouse-type exterior or the cooky interior, but the staff were all very nice. This seemed like a nice family owned establishment. The pizza was tasty, and my husband and I both agreed that it was equally good cold the next day!

Big Mo's knows how to bring hungry travelers like me in. I was driving along the highway from Spanish Fork to I-70 with full intent of eating somewhere in Price. I wanted it to be memorable so I was going to bust out the old Yelp app (once I got cellphone signal) and search for the hottest spot in all of Price... Wait! What's this I see? A giant billboard telling me to eat at a place called Big Moes Eatery and Bakery. That's pretty much all it takes to get me to plug it into the GPS and take me there. Like I said above, not sure how I got there less the guidance from the GPS. Its somewhere off the main freeway and then off the main strip in Price. Its in a little strip center with parking in a lot or on the street. The restaurant is quaint, its a small town joint. Its not high style or sexy furnishings... just functional furniture in a white room with grandma's trinkets tacked to the wall. There's plenty of seating and lots of cold cases where it looks like they sell stuff to complement their baked goods. Big Moe had a menu full of big sandwiches and big hamburgers. I think there may have been a big salad, but honestly Big Moe didn't get big off of Salads so why not follow in his likeness and stick to the meals between bread. I had the Patty Melt and added bacon. They offered 3 sizes, the 1/4, 1/2 and 1lb patty. I just want to flatter Big Moe not become him, so I stuck to the 1/4. The burger was on thick buttery toasted bread piled high with grilled red onions and hot melted cheese. I added bacon but I think that only amounted to two slices thrown on. The bread supposedly is made in house, I believe it because it was fresh and thick. It absolutely wasn't plain sandwich bread from the grocery. The patty melt came sitting on top of a bed of fries. These were the all natural kind with the potato skin still on. It looked like they cut them there. Could have fooled me if they didn't. Not my personal cup of tea on the fries but they were fresh and hot. If I could offer up one suggestion they should wipe down all the stuff they have placed on the tables like the napkin holders, salt shakers and light reading material holders. It was a touch sticky. Honestly it was good affordable food with a waitress that took care of you. You can't ask for much more from a small town joint. The food was advertised as fresh and looked and tasted that way when it was served. I'd definitely eat here again if I was through Price although next time I want to meet Big Moe himself.
For my first visit to big moes, I ordered the turkey avocado on rye. It qas delicious and I was thoroughly impressed with the entire dining experience.
I love eating here, ordering take out from here, and having them cater my family events. The food is wonderful and the staff is excellent :)

This place changed owners a while back and I finally got around to trying it under the new management. The burgers are still great, and now they have golden, crispy, delicious fries! A huge improvement over the old ones!
We stopped in on our way through. Right across from McDonald's and worlds better. The pastrami burger was delicious and filling. The sea burger was tasty. Possibly the best thing was the onion rings.
Delicious chocolate malt and wonderful french fries (with fry sauce)! Nice summer evening spot. Sit outside, and they come take your order and then bring it back to you (even to the car).

Stopped here on our way through town just a little before closing time. Good beer (Apricot Wheat) that was light and refreshing, and a tasty burger (Jalapeno Burger) that I really enjoyed . Fries weren't that exciting, but would just get a different side next time. Would definitely stop here again.
(update) Sad to say, on our return visit, this was everything we don't like: fatty pulled pork and my wife's lunch salad wilted and tasteless. (Prior review: 4 stars. Great to know there' a place to stop on the way to Salt Lake. Had the pulled pork and a salad. Good food, solid ingredients, nice people. We'll be back.)
This is a great little gem right of the highway. It's got a cozy atmosphere and quick service. We had a large group, and they gave us pitchers of beverages so we didn't have to wait for refills, and our food came out fast and hot. We tried the Blue Bacon burger, the Malibu Chicken sandwich Chicken BLT wrap, Pepperoni pizza and the Triple Cheese burger. The burgers were well done and juicy, messy to eat- just the way they should be. The pizza had a wonderful sourdough crust and the chicken was grilled and juicy. Great place for weary travelers to stop.

There's not much of a choice in Price, but this place doesn't rest on its laurels. The food is tasty if unspectacular. It's also very generously portioned, so go hungry. Service is friendly. We all had a good giggle because we ordered a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for a toddler in the party, which came with curly fries and a lettuce/tomato garnish.
Don't make the same mistake we did.. I would have rather skipped lunch than had the four hour stomach ache. The fries claim to be the best in town, however my lady said "I'd rather have McDonald's" after leaving half of our meal behind.
Despite the italian flag on the restaurant's sign this place reminded me of a quaint mom + pop joint with burgers, greasy french fries and the regular diner fare with a few italian options on the menu. Their burgers were huge. My husband and I ordered a double cheeseburger to share and ended up taking the second patty off our halves. Service was friendly and the restaurant itself was clean and nice.

The place is clean and the servers are almost always very friendly, hard working and wanting to help you. I would give the servers a 5, it's the food quality that brings the rating down. For breakfast you will find very limp bacon, and coffee that is not going to be that good cup of morning coffee you want. Maybe I've become a coffee snob, but I have a better cup if I make it in a hotel room with one of those mini coffee pots. I don't know if it's the coffee they use or if it's the coffee maker, but both my husband and I have stopped ordering coffee if we go there. The food is your basic offerings, similar to a Denny's, meats will be very processed, a lot of deep fried foods. If you want a breakfast buffet where you can load up your plate again and again, you may really like it, but you may also have a belly ache later. We only go there when older relatives want to go, jbs has been around for a long time and the older generation is set in their ways and they offer the senior citizen discount. Right off the highway so easy for travelers to find.
We had the pleasure of having JBs fix our dinner tonight. To go. First upon entering I couldn't help but notice how clean this place is. Next the gentleman at the desk was so friendly, you'd think I was a regular. My order was filled quickly and all with a smile. My husband had chicken fried steak dinner $9.99. Great deal. Mine was the pork chop dinner $12.99. I thought a little high. Both were hot and pretty tasty. They also came with a salad which was fresh and crispy. Couldn't leave there without ordering a slice of pie. And again tasty. Being in Price, Utah on business, it was nice to have a place like this almost next door. I'd definitely return. Great people, sooo clean and a nice meal.
Everything else in Price is closed on Sunday morning, so we had no alternative but to stop here. Breakfast was not bad. Good pancakes, eggs, waffles, french toast. Ordered a la carte as buffett looked pretty sad. Fast, good service. Watery but drinkable coffee. Everything looked clean, including bathrooms.

The jury is still out on this place....... A few weeks ago I devoured what could possibly be the best breakfast I ever had. The Banana Pecan Stack is incredible! Loved it! The caramel syrup was perfect with the bananas and pecans. And with 2 egss for $7.99, it's a good deal. But, just last week I ordered the seafood pasta dish. Where do I start? I naively thought that because this place serves real crab legs, the small amount of crab meat in the pasta would be real. I was wrong. Fake crab (aka Krab) and tiny canned shrimp. While the sauce was great, I couldn't help but be disappointed. I'm willing to give this place another chance. I like the atmosphere and the service was great. And, if nothing else, I'm going back for breakfast!
Won't come here again. Another restaurant owned by Tony Basso and it is pretty bad. The steaks we ordered were both cold. The salad bar was messy and looked processed. Won't be back.
This place was exactly what I expected. The place was nice and clean, and there was a variety of food options. We waited for some time before someone came to take our order which was surprising since they were pretty empty. I ordered the carne asada sandwich and it was good, the food was fresh and the carne asada has nice flavor. My sweet potato fries were undercooked. Good place for cheap food just don't expect to be wowed. I give three stars for an affordable pitstop restaurant.

Food just average, nothing stands out. Burritos had no beans, rice or cheese. ok alternative to burgers and steak. Quite inexpensive.
By no means bad Mexican food - but by no means great, either. The second photo below pretty much sums it up - standard fare.
Price could really use a restaurant that appeals to Salt Lakers on the way to and from Moab. Sadly this place is not it. It's like every bad Mexican place you have ever been to -- over cooked and under spiced. Keep looking folks.

Good food. If you like chain-type places like Chili's or TGI Friday then you'll probably like this one. The wings are good, but a bit too sweet and not spicy enough for my taste (you can get different sauces though). The burgers, sandwiches, and Durango steak are all quite good. The ribs are usually really good, although they have been a bit dry a couple of times I've ordered them. They've recently started serving their own Winger Bros Brewing Co beer, which is not bad at all. Amazing Blonde - one of the better blonde ales I've tried, it has more flavor than most. Hazy Wheat Hefeweizen - dunno, I'm not a hefeweizen fan, it tasted just like every other hefe to me. I guess if you like hefeweizen you'll like this one? Kings Tale Pale Ale - tastes like a watered down Cutthroat. Not bad but not great. Bootleg Porter - I'm a big porter fan and this one is right up there with some of the best I've tried. Wingers is now the only place in town to get a porter on tap, so I come here more often than I probably should.
Completely generic sysco food served in a rebadged ruby tuesdays. Can't say I was blown away. Service was helpful, a little too helpful. After a long day of ice climbing I just wanted to rehash the day with my buddy but found myself having to fend off the waitress every 2 minutes.
They were not busy but I had to wait a while for my food. I wanted to place a Togo order and the hostess gave me a menu and never came back so I had to order at the bar. I had the mushroom and onion burger which I asked them to cook medium well...it was well done. Even though my food was not prepared properly it was still good. I can only imagine how it would have been if they cooked it right
