Good classic American breakfast fare and friendly small town charm. Sometimes when a place is what you expect it to be with no frills, that is a good thing. Will swing on by if in the area again. Obviously you wont road trip here as a destination. I saw plenty of travelers in the reviews and that is probably a good portion of the the patrons here on any given day... It isn't like some cafes off of the main road where you feel like you are in an old Western movie... The music stops as you walk in and everyone "mean mugs" ya like you're from outta town... Not a problem here. There seems to be a positive attitude towards "passer-by" clientele and regular old bacon, eggs, waffle or pancakes are good.

Delicious food, comfortable atmosphere, attentive service. My husband and I had dinner here two nights in a row. Fabulous & filling both nights.

We decided to stop here after reading some good reviews on yelp. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but this place was no good. Service was friendly but very slow and unattentive. My boyfriend and I split a sandwich and fries, and they charged $2 more for us to split it! WTH? The food wasn't even that great. There aren't many food options along this part of I-15, but I would recommend to keep looking.

The fourth star is partly owing to the fact that this place is open on Sunday. You cannot count on that when you are road tripping through Utah. It can make or break your day and thus merits extra points. We were in at an odd hour, so the place was pretty much empty. We sat at the counter. Great, friendly service; a real local hangout, our waitress made cheerful small talk with us and knew everyone that came in after, some of whom just for a chat and coffee. The menu offers standard diner fare: including omelettes of all varieties for breakfast, burgers and sandwiches, and larger dinner plates with soup (homemade) and salad included. My companion had a club sandwich that was on par. I wanted to try the Mexican omelette, but I can rarely resist the call of a patty melt on the open road. My Pmelt was a tad on the greasy side, but the onions were sweet and plentiful and the griddle that cooked it was well seasoned. The fries were the battered shoestring variety. One of my personal favorites. All in all a good spot to stop for a road lunch. This is especially if you, like me, are eager to avoid standard freeway-adjacent fast food. The cafe is removed from the interstate far enough to take your mind off its interminable monotony. This is the type of place I try to seek out, and of which there seem to be a dwindling few. Plus I got to enter a raffle for a 30-06 rifle offered up by the Parowan gun and rod club. Fingers crossed. If you find yourself in Parowan, do check it out. They also serve breakfast all day (at least on Sunday).

Great meal! We stopped on a Sunday so the town is pretty quiet.

Five meals and all were great. The service rocked! Will definitely do again. Beefy noodle to die for! Happy waitresses. My favorite sandwich: turkey, avocado on sourdough.

Really great, friendly service, wife had the soup of the day ( Italian meatball ) she loved it. I had the fried chicken dinner, which was a little over done and greasy but tasted was okay. We will probably try breakfast here on the way out of town.

I've been here oodles of times, and it never fails me. Some good home cooking that always leaves me satisfied. Last time I went in, Jenni helped us(who is smokin hot by the way) and she was exceptionally friendly. I'll always be a repeat customer here when I pass by. Aaaaaand I may call ahead to see if Jenni is working ;)

Stopped by late one night driving through. Even though it was a few minutes before they closed they happily let us in. I ordered French toast (they serve breakfast all day) and my kids ordered pancakes. The pancakes were HUGE - like the size of a large plate! And super fluffy. Nice cozy feel. We all thought it was really good and the waitress was very friendly.

Disappointing late lunch. The salad was not fresh. The lettuce was brown and wilted in some spots and pink in others. The BLT was very basic, shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and bacon on toast, no choice of bread, a foil packet of mayo on the side. Fries were okay. Service was fantastic though!

Farm fresh doesn't have to be fancy or expensive: I wasn't to excited to eat at the cafe, we stopped only cause we needed breakfast after camping in twenty degree Fahrenheit weather and didn't see any other options. What I didn't plan on was that this quaint little cafe in Utah would have a damn good classic breakfast. Nothing on the menu was super special it was your classic bacon eggs and hash browns or dome other variation of the basics. When I got my food the first thing that I noticed was the irregular shape of the sausage patties and the farm fresh taste. You know the taste if something that, well hasn't been dead vary long. I asked the waitress if they made the sausage patties themselves. She told us that all of there meat was from a local farm. I was super excited to hear that I was eating locally sourced meats! We also asked the waitress for directions to some local petroglyphs, the directions were actually good, we made it there and enjoyed the scenery with full bellies. The 4th star is for the meat and the directions alone!

I ordered the Western Omelet with bacon and it was delicious. The hash browns were kind of mushy but the toast was really good. My boyfriend got chocolate chip pancakes and loved them. Our server, however, wasn't the greatest. Very standoffish and made it seem like everything we would ask for was a chore and she didn't even give us her name. I would go back, but just ask for a different server.

April 26th 7pm. Coming from Colorado we needed that diner vibe with home cooked meal before we call it a night. Thank god we found this place. Our server was very nice food was awesome. Big servings! Taco soup was really good. Hole in the wall restaurant, a gem! Definitely recommend it.

This is the cutest and most welcoming cafe! We stopped here on our way through town for some coffee and dessert and we felt so welcome. The people were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind. Similarly, their food was amazing! We caught them on a day where their dessert was cinnamon raisin buns/rolls and they were incredible! Definitely homemade and delicious! Would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone who wants small town friendliness and delicious home cooking!

We were looking for a simple meal during our drive from Denver to Las Vegas and the Parowan Cafe was perfect! Breakfast served all day and delicious fried chicken. Huge portions, friendly staff, and they even filled our water bottles before we got back on the road. Excellent choice if you're driving I-15 and are looking for a non-chain option. As my 8 year old said, "My favorite thing was all of it."

Gotta love this place. Seriously!! Food is fantastic, service is great, and its fast! And, they make their food!! They serve breakfast all day. I got the chicken fried steak and it was fantastic!!

We love cafes in small towns. Why? Because they usually make their food, don't micro wave it or have it frozen and instead, it's home made. On the way back to Cedar City, we wanted a late lunch/ early dinner so we stopped in. They had a special sandwich- chicken Cordon Bleau-deep fried chicken breast with ham and cheese, French fries and a choice of soup or salad. Soup of the day was creamy potato and ham, demand that was some of the best soup I've had in years! My wife got the chicken fried steak and she said it was excellent. This is simple but awesome home cooking

Such friendly staff and patrons! Great place to stop in on a trip to and from Bryce. Glad we went a little bit away from the main Bryce towns to satisfy our hunger from our Bryce hikes. All the other places we found on Yelp looked super sketch. We ordered the omelets (that come with huge pancakes). Afterward, heard locals say they got the best in the area. Glad to find this gem in the little small town USA!

The most welcoming and friendly staff (hostess and chef). LOVED the small town feeling. Portion sizes were gigantic! The pancakes alone could feed an army. Hash in the breakfast burrito highly recommended

Not really what I would expect from a local, small town cafe. The ambiance is nice. The place is quaint. The service is good. But the food is really mediocre. The quality of ingredients is surprisingly low. I had a sandwich and a salad. The sandwich came with what seemed like processed Swiss cheese, and the salad was one of those typical prepackaged, iceberg lettuce and purple cabbage salads, with some chicken on top. It's one of the only restaurants in the town, so definitely worth eating at if you have no other options, but they have room to improve.

These guys get five star for their food and service! It's a local spot and thanks to Yelp we were able to check them out and had their delicious breakfast. Everything we ordered tasted fresh. The eggs tasted like they just picked them up fresh from the farm. The bacon was from a slaughtered pig this morning LOL JK about that. It was really fresh. Didn't taste like meat that was sitting there for awhile. Potatoes were fresh and just cut up for our order kinda spot. When we walked in there everyone was so welcoming. Our server was super friendly and she noticed my daughters SF Giants jacket and complimented us on the jacket. We found out she's a fellow Bay Area native. BAY AREA! LOL We all ordered omelets. Bacon, tomato, Swiss and added avocado. This was so good. LOL Crab, avocado, Swiss My son said it was hella good. It tasted fresh! Steak omelette My husband killed it LOL He said the eggs and meat were super fresh. He like to potatoes too. French toast I wish I ordered a full order instead of 1/2. It was that good! Pancakes WELP yall are going to have to try it. It was bomb. Everything was bomb! Breakfast that is. I'll have to come back and try their other stuff.

My family and I stopped by this place on our way home from Utah. I had read the yelp reviews and figured we should give it a try. All our meals were delicious! I ordered the hot turkey sandwich which included mashed potatoes / gravy and stuffing. My husband ordered the patty melt and fries which he enjoyed. I tasted the fries and they were yummy. My 3 boys enjoyed their meals too. One son ordered the cheesy vegetable soup and salad. He loved it. The other ordered a breakfast omelette with pancakes. The pancakes were huge and fluffy and our server warmed the syrup! My other son ordered the roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy. The cook was a college age girl as was our server. They both really made us feel welcomed. They have a great sense of humor and work well together. I really appreciated the small, thoughtful touches....warming the syrup, striking up conversation and sense of humor. I definitely recommend this place. No question about it.

Parowan Cafe is a great little place to go eat. We stopped here in the morning on the way home from Brian Head. The place is nice and the people who work there are very friendly. I had a Mexican Omelette and my girlfriend had a Veggie Omelette. Both of these items come with Hash Browns and then you can choose between toast or 2 big pancakes. It is quite the amount of food for breakfast! Everything was very tasty and the price is right too!

If you are looking for a great hometown dining experience with great home cooking, this is the place. I had the bacon burger and it was fantastic! Don't know how much cholesterol I ate, but it was the best burger I've had in a long time. The fries were also great and the atmosphere was old time comfortable. Will definitely stop again

Honestly, I decided to stop here with a couple friends and the people were very nice. The food wasn't exactly excellent but it wasn't the worst thing I've ever encountered.

A pleasant surprise in the middle of a sleepy town! This quaint diner offers great food and awesome service at very affordable prices. The food was very fresh, the coffee was delicious and they were nice enough to give us great directions to our destination! If you are on the road, please do yourself a favor and take the small detour to visit this place. You will like it. Ps. Order the Swiss and avocado omelette it's excellent!

I would give it 3.5 stars. There isn't much in the area. The chicken fried steak was pretty good but be prepared for lots of gravy on everything. The mashed potatoes were kind of cold. My wife ordered a ribeye medium because they were out of the sirloin but it came out closer to well done. The flavor was lackluster too. The ambience is a local diner feel. The portions are huge and the prices are comfortable too.

In a town population of only 28,000 Parowan Cafe is a decent place to stop into if you want to avoid fast food chains when traveling. You definitely can see the age of this place and it looks like it's right out of a western movie with the old stools at the counter and antique decor. My order a 1/3 pound hamburger, fries and a diet soda. Food was decent and coffee to go only $1.25 If your lucky you may see a cowboy too! No additional charge with your meal of course: yelp.com/biz_photos/eA4N…

I spent almost a week in Parowan visiting the gf. And I was at this cafe almost everyday. Picking up food to go. Coffee is amazing! And I'm the kind that has Starbucks or coffee bean & tea leaf everyday. Pancakes are good with maple syrup. Hash browns were great! Loved the big buck burger with ham, cheddar, on a homemade bun!!!! I eat at a lot of gourmet burger places. Umami, slaters 50/50, etc... So I can appreciate a good burger in its simplicity or complexity. This burger with the ham and bun was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and already knew my likes by the third day. Great place and will visit when I'm in Utah next!

We were on our way to Brian Head and found this place using the yelp app on my phone. We were looking for one of those places that is just really small and not very well known but felt that many times those places can be really good. We almost passed it, because we didn't know what we were looking for. As we walked in were were immediately reminded of hometown. It has a warm welcoming atmosphere. One of those places with a long bar and booths down one side of the room. It was a bit past the prime dinner hour, there was only one other group in the place. They were being taken care of by a friendly waitress and what appeared to be one person in the kitchen. No one was busing tables, because one needed cleaned up and when the other group left no one bussed that one either. We had five people, in our group. 2 ordered breakfast, 2 ordered sandwiches, and I got the chicken fried steak. It was not incredibly fast, but we didn't feel like we waited a long time either. Their pancakes are very large and thick. 2 was plenty. The sandwiches were reported as very good. The fries tasted a bit like the oil needed a change, but my son really liked them that way. My chicken fried as a bit dry. The sides were OK. I had a side salad. It tasted fresh. While we were there 3 other groups walked in. The waitress knew them all. Definitely home town place to eat. Suggestion: Go to the Lowe's in Cedar City an buy bunch of ceiling tiles then replace all the ones that are water damaged.

Traveling you are, hmm? Sustenance you crave. Enjoyment. Not these crude interstate offramp matters. Hmm. To exit 78 you must go. But beware the West side of the freeway. Tempt you it will, with its bright sign and seductive initials. Go instead East into Parowan on Main Street and seek there the Parowan Cafe. Breakfast you desire? All day can you have it in Parowan. Western omelettes, pancakes, hash browns. Excellent are they all. Overwhelm you they may, with their sheer mass and deliciousness. Pie also will you encounter, of a quality unaccustomed in roadside cafes. Hmm. And hot turkey sandwiches with gravy. And reasonable are the prices. Most of all, be mindful of the friendliness of this place, which is a Force of its own. Thought you that the last of old-fashioned quality small town diners was gone? No. There is another.

If you're staying in Parowan, this cafe is your best option for lunch or dinner if you want any kind of menu. It's typical diner food but was decent enough after a hard day of skiing. The service was good and friendly, and I will come back again when in town to ski. I was unable to do a Yelp check-in while here because the location was incorrect in the Yelp system. A correction was submitted.

10 miles East from Georgetown, Parowan offers a way nicer stop when you are on the road. Charming small city, with diverse shops, antiques, flowers, a authentic theater and the Parowan Cafe. Great for Breakfast, the ashbrowns were delicious, the bacon unbelievable (Don't get the pancakes though), the waitress smiling. Familial atmosphere.
