My wife and I have eaten dinner here twice now and found it to be excellent both times. Everything was fresh and creatively put together. We also found an excellent Pinot noir from chile for only $35 on their wine list that we really enjoy. It is my favorite go to Italian restaurant in park city and we would recommend it to anyone. Make sure to try the bruschetta, it is the best we have had anywhere. If I were to pick on something I guess I would have to say their decor could use some updating but the quality of the food it top notch, in our opinion. We will be back!

Sometimes restaurants try to be more than they really our. They just try to hard to appear to be a different experience. Located in a beautiful resort we would recommend, this pricey restaurant failed to handle the basic requirement...serve good food. Instead, they put way too much effort in how the food looks, reads in the menu, and forgot to provide food that tastes good. We had two meals. Supper was nearly $40 per person and nothing was that good. Further, none of us drank any alcoholic beverages. Breakfast is offered as a buffet with minimal options and mediocre quality. Again, our bill was nearly $18 per person. We found better food at much lower prices down in Park City. Unless stuck here, worth the 5 minute drive down the hill.

I ate here as part of a Groupon deal. Very good experience, and relatively reasonable prices. Entrees are around $25. The calamari appetizer was a standout. Came on a meat and cheese board, which was pretty original and delicious. Everything else was good as well. Also had the breakfast buffet the next morning, which comes with a room. Great version of a hotel breakfast, but not a destination like Stein or Sundance.

We love this place! Zac was beyond an incredible server. We have never ordered anything that isn't worth 5 stars. The pizzas, entrees, and desserts are beautifully delicious. Definitely recommended!!

I stayed at The Chateaux for the New Years holiday and was pleasantly surprised by the free breakfast each morning. The staff was very attentive and never let my oj or coffee go empty. One in particularly, Nathaniel, always went out of his way to let us know "things to do" in town and make recommendations on how our make the most of our trip. Very friendly is an understatement. As for the food, there seemed to be a great mix for the three days that we were there. Great flavors and textures for the eggs/omelets. Fresh berries every morning and delish food all around. Highly recommend!

Almost got sent away by previous reviews, who in this case were dead wrong! Our party of 10 was treated to an amazing meal last night. Everyone enjoyed their salads and entrees. The cocktails were even excellent! The style of food here is not meant to be chasing down the most exotic ingredients and blending it into something you have never had before. It is traditional Italian to the core!

We had dinner here the first night of our stay at the Chateaux. I really wish it was better, but it really wasn't, the food lacked flavor and Italian flare, it was very much what you expect from a hotel restaurant. The fact that this place is run by Stein Erickson I expected better. This turned us off to going to the Stein for dinner. We enjoyed the pizza even though it was a bit oily and salad but the fish dish was just mehh. Skip it and go into town for much better food.

Good service, very good food! Had dinner outside on the patio - beautiful view of the mountains. Ravioli was very good, muscles were tasty but on the small side. Server wasn't terribly knowledgeable about the wine list, but did offer to bring over someone who was. Quite an enjoyable meal.

Service confused, food is naive, ambiance similar to the airport Hilton. Definitely not Upper Deer Valley. Terribly overpriced. Would never come back.

This restaurant went from being ranked 183 to 5 in one year on trip advisor and I am not sure why or how. The food is not very good, the staff was limited on their knowledge of the wine list and their menu. Would not recommend you taking the long and confusing ride (went there at night and from out of town) for what is a below average restaurant.

Let's be honest, this is park city and expectations are high. We dined there as a large party of 12. They gave us a great table by window. The food here was mediocre at best. The apps were actually decent, but no one enjoyed their mains. I had shrimp with fresh pasta. The shrimp were way over cooked and quite frankly I have had better dried pasta. Not a place I would go back to again considering all the other options. I will also add our waitress was rude and had an attitude the entire evening. She really did make the evening that more inapplealing. We stayed at the chateaux and the breakfast buffet was actually quite good and it comes out of the same kitchen.

Great food. Great vibe. Will be back. Wine list strong as well.

This restaurant is right across the street from where we usually stay for our ski vacations, so we are pleased that it is so accessible. Most of the menu is excellent - especially recommended are the crostinis (we most recently had the wild mushroom and truffle oil variety and prosciutto ham with gorganzola and pear jam variety - both as delicious as they sound) and the pizzettas (notably the pork shank and fig). I made the mistake of ordering the seafood salad during our last visit, which ended up being extremely small. To be fair, our waitress did warn me that it was a tiny portion, but I also disliked that it was covered in an extremely oily and relatively flavorless dressing. My husband had a pasta with meat sauce that he really enjoyed (bolognese filei tropeani) Despite the seafood salad menu choice, the rest of the meal was enough to make us want to return. Enter my main complaint about the restaurant: the next Sunday we wanted to stay in and watch television so after much deliberation about what we wanted to pick up from Cena, we called. We were told that we could not carry out any food items, we could only dine-in. We were very disappointed. Later in our trip, we wanted to try grabbing some pizzettas and crostinis for lunch after skiing. We called again only to learn that their lunch menu does not contain either of these items. They do not include their lunch menu on their website, so I don't know what they do serve for lunch. Bottom line, some excellent menu options as long as you are willing to dine in.

How I have lived in PC & SLC for 11 years yet have never heard of you until now is ridiculous and down right unacceptable!!! Amazing quality... incredible flavors... for a prices that make places in even salt lake city blush! You Cena, are arguably the best priced restaurant in Park City, and are a underpriced at that. Haven't been? Well put on your fat kid pants, and do yourself a favor. Starter: Get the "Calamari & Parsely Pistou Crostini"! Order them. Put them in your mouth. Your welcome. The fresh julienne apples & roasted fennel on top are just the icing on the "OMFG cake" for this dish! Its unlike anything I've ever had and I will be coming back for more. Other recommendations "Fried Clams" or "Warm Housemade Mozzarella & Ciabatta". Need I say more? Two words FLATBREAD PIZZA! Move over Maxwells! Momma's got a new pizza place! I tried the Creminelli Peperoni & about died. As well as the Winter Margherita (because I'm a sucker for pesto) and the Four Cheese Pizza... I would have all of them again. But the pepperoni was my fav. Entree: I got the Baked Lasagna (AMAZING), my friends, all pro sharing, thank God, allowed me to sample their dishes as well. I believe on was the Chicken Parmesan, the Garlic Shrimp Pappardelle, and the Pork Porterhouse. I cant say I hated any of them... in fact i would order all of them again. My only note is the pork porterhouse steak in itself is to die for but I'm not a huge fan of the Butternut squash risotto. Don't get me wrong I love risotto and butternut. I just like them separately... much like I like raisins but they better stay the hell out of my cookies. Staff: Professional, punctual, and attentive. Over all one of the best dinning experiences I've had in awhile.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
