Not as good as Joe's Italian Ice in Anaheim, CA, but considering we lived so closeby during our utah stay, it is does the job pretty well! i can't complain and it's as good as it gets around these parts. Try the gelata, combination of water ice and vanilla custard. I've had the orange creme, tikki fruit, mango, black cherry gelatas. Amazingly good and perfect for summer nights out. super friendly staff, too! :)

Delicious options. Strawberry horchata and coconut are my personal favorite! It's pretty hard to go wrong here. I like to ask the owner "what's on tap?" It gets a laugh like half the time. Try it. 1/2 and 1/2 flavors is the only way to go. Sometimes I request all the custard on the bottom to reduce my balancing liability (I call it "topless".) If you have ever lost your top (custard) then you know what I mean.

Just the best Italian ice I have ever had. I don't understand how they get so much flavor into their ice but it's just perfect, the gelato is divine. The tropical flavors are the best and the gelato inside makes it that much better

This place is fantastic!!!!!!!!! and is super cheap for the amount of deliciousness that you get. The Italian water ice is refreshing, flavorful and is not horribly fattening or bad for you to boot :). You can also ask to mix the flavors 1/2 and 1/2 in your cup so you can enjoy 2 flavor mouthgasms instead of simply one. If you want to take it up a notch try the gelata, its custard ice cream thats super smooth and creamy with Italian water ice of your choice in the middle....sounds a bit iffy but is fantastically delicious

I frequent this place quite often, since it is on the way to my parent's house. I couldn't tell you how it compares (or doesn't compare) to real Italian ice, but I think the gelatas (custard with flavored ice) are quite delicious. Though gelata may be the main star, their soft pretzels are downright divine. I've never had the urge to drive out of my way for the gelata, but the pretzels are pretty tempting. Soft, fluffy and super fresh, I love the salt ones with jalapeno cheese sauce.

My wife and I love coming here! The Italian ice is great if you want a lighter dessert, but the gelato (mixture of italian ice and frozen custard) is an amazingly tasty treat!

One of the best places to stop for a cool summer treat. They have a huge variety of flavors, ranging in sizes small to however much your party needs. The price cannot be beat. The staff is super friendly and fast. Parking is limited, but eating it on the way home is just as much fun. I recommend my personal favorite, Lime Rickey. I had to hound the manager to add it to their menu, but he was a good sport on getting the flavor just right. Do not pass this place up!!!

ATTENTION YELPERS: I LOVE ZEPPES. When I was in high school this place was a nightly stop during the summers!!! This place is amazing. My favorite Italian water ice - nowhere else has compared yet. I love that they carry so many flavors nowadays and you can check out their FaceBook page to see what they have daily. My favorite is gelata (not gelata shake). It comes with custard at the bottom, Italian ice, and more custard!!! Mmmm, it's a perfect summer treat. I like root beer and orange creme the best, but I'll get other flavors based on my mood. They'll let you sample flavors too! The kids ice is a perfect size for a quick treat, but now that I only make it out there a couple of times a year I go big (and then head home) with my large gelata.

Wonderful little place that's a throwback to a simpler era. Plus it's delicious. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to an ice cream at Zeppe's.

I'll never ever ever go on a weekend night because suddenly it's like you're at an underage hook up destination but any other day this is a great stop . Drive up , get out, get your summer icy creamy cup of deliciousness and head out . This is the only place that I have ever had one of these strange custard and ice combos but holy cow it's good. I typically get something like coconut or horchata and the husband gets some tutti fruity combo, but all that we have had was good

I love this place! It's a fun place to bring the kids on a hot day. But don't expect a place to sit, I usually get mine to go and we go to a park to eat. The service can be slow, but you can tell they are making the food, not standing around talking about their boyfriends.

great summer stop with the kids for gelato, ice cream, italian ice, custard. The prices are good. We usually park in the back, put down the tailgate, and eat in the parking lot when we go. Not much seating. Service always friendly and patient when you or the kids can't decide from the huge selection.

I like to taste test a few flavors, each time I go in- just to make sure I'm making the right choice... even though I've tried every flavor. The girls will let you try little spoonfuls of the good stuff, to your hearts content. If you're lucky you'll get to talk to the handsome Aussie that runs the place. My favorite flavors: mango, strawberry creme (strawberry coconut) and sunset splash (strawberry, mango and orange). The hot pretzels are really good too.

Zeppe's is one of the reason I love summer. Go for the gelato it's custard with Italian ice. The aqua fusion is my favorite flavor it's blue raspberry mixed with green apple.

I'm am addicted to Zeppes Italian Ice! I went to Italy a few summers ago and got hooked on Italian Ice. When I got home I was disappointed to find that most of the places around here didn't taste very authentic. I finally found Zeppes and that's when I got hooked. I have tried almost all of the italian ice flavors and I haven't found one yet that I don't like. Another great thing about Zeppes is that they will let you mix flavors so I mix a lot of different concotions when I go in. My favorite is the mango sunset splash with a bit of coconut or pina colada. You can order it for parties or just to take home as well. My sister bought some and served it at her wedding. It was a big hit.

This place used to be really good. Our family was here 1-2 nights a week, then the franchise and corporation were sold to another couple. I think they may have cheapened up the product to save money because the flavors and textures of the Water Ice and the Custard have gone way down hill. He have only been 2-3 times this summer and each time we say we aren't going back and the the kids talk us into it. I am very disappointed because I looked forward to this place every week.

Had the privilege of being introduced by Anita & Aaron. Great fun hanging out & experiencing the black cherry concoction.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
