I'm surprised I've never reviewed this place before! I go here more than enough. I really enjoy Rumbi's. The food tastes incredible and there is a lot of it. I normally get the half bowl of chicken with the Rumbi Rice (it really is one of a kind). And a side of sweet potato fries, because you can never go wrong with sweet potatoes. There is a fun atmosphere and fun people, outdoor as well as indoor seating, and you can choose between real silverware or chopsticks--go with the latter, it's always more fun to make a fool out of yourself. The reason I don't give it a full 5 stars is simply because of the pricing. It's a little on the high side and I have yet to figure out the best times to go, I know there are deals of the day, it's just hard for me to sway from the usual when I'm craving it! TIPS & TRICKS: * Again, grab a seat outside if it's nice enough. It's in a secluded enough area that it doesn't make you feel awkward. * Grab a to-go box and have it for a midnight snack the next day, leftovers are always winners.

We come here all the time! Great food and the wait is not bad. The food is very tasty. Kids love it too. My only advice would be to check the mail for coupons as the prices are a bit steep. Otherwise great place. Fun atmosphere also. I docked 1 star for the price. Other than that 5 stars.

Ok, well yum. Their fries are so good; a mixture of sweet potato and crispy normal potato fries. I have had the hamburger and a couple salads before and they are really quite good.But, I did get a grilled chicken salad and they gave me fried chicken... gross. However, I think their chicken rice bowls are not the tastiest. Service is very fast. I think I might stick to the hamburgers and fries in the future.

My go to: Rice bowls with chicken, veggies, brown rice and I switch up the sauce based on my mood. I always add a bit of Sriracha and kick it up a notch. My husband got the pork and it was amazing though. I'll definitely get that next time! I have to say though, this place used to be better. We had a to go order and there was not near enough sauce! My rice bowl was soooo bland! So if you order to go, I'd get an extra sauce!!! The sauces go in this order of preference for me: 1) Spicy Teriyaki 2) Jamaican Jerk 3) Honey Orange 4) Bali Island 5) Teriyaki (cuz you should always go spicy!) I like them all though (yesterday I had the Bali island and thoroughly enjoyed it). I've also enjoyed some salads, sandwiches, and fries here. They've all been tasty but the rice bowl is delicious and large. I always have two meals out of one large rice bowl.

I love Rumbi! I love how you can personalize your rice bowls so much! The tofu is really good its firm and crispy which is impressive because many places aren't sure how to cook tofu correctly. The best dish I've had there is the blackened salmon. The fish is cooked perfectly so it's not to dry and not indercooked. It's served with rice and this scrumptious sauce! Such a delight!

Yum! I love Hawaiian food and this place doesn't disappoint. However, if you want the super mayo covered macaroni salad I've not noticed them having it. The manager that works during lunch time is super friendly and must be good at remembering people because he welcomed me back and remembered when I had been there 10 days earlier. Clean and good menu selection. Their soup is good. Kids eat free (1 kids meal per adults) on Monday and Tuesday nights. Free WiFi just ask for the pw.

FANTASTIC! food, service and management. Ryan the manager of the place was doing a great job in getting customers and making sure everyone was enjoying there food. I would definitely recommend this rumbi in Riverdale to all Rumbi lovers the lemon merengue pie A. the food A as well. ...I had the salmon and it wad cooked to perfection ;)

This is a great restaurant, I like the idea of ordering your food at the cashier, but getting served on the table. The double burger is on of the best I've ever eaten, that mean! The food selection is great lots of variety. Staff is friendly properly dressed, this in accordance to their function, so you know who's responsible for what! Prices are very decent and the amount of food you get is more than enough!

Stopped in for lunch one day. We figured we'd try something on Riverdale Road that wasn't Zupas - but that's a different review! The service was friendly and quick and the sandwiches were big and tasty. We had the Luau Pork and Island Chicken sandwiches - one with fries and one with chips & salsa. Quite frankly, I didn't know the Hawaiians were big into chips and salsa, but what do I know... Next time I think I'll forego the sides and stick to the sandwiches for lunch. We'll be back to try the rice bowls.

This issue favorite location. The restaurant is clean. The staff keeps the tables wiped down and beverage area clean, clean, clean. For being a busy spot, the staff are all very friendly. I ordered the Salmon with Rumbi rice. It was served with a side salad. The salad was crisp and perfect, very fresh! The salmon... Oh my gosh. It was cooked perfectly, fresh and delicious!! Can I have seconds?
