I have searched high and low, using Yelp reviews as my guide for fish and chips in both Portland and Seattle. I still haven't found anything that comes close to Big Jims. They also ride the line between fast food and a restaurant really well. I love this place.

Mehh! Other reviewers compare this restaurant to Crown Burgers. It does have the same menu and set-up as a Crown Burger. But the food here is no comparison. Very overcooked. The guys and I are looking for good lunch spots in Ogden every Friday. We will probably drive past this one in the future.

Probably done with Jim's. Was over charged for a Jim's burger and a small drink. The burger didn't hit the spot like it used to either. Crown burger is much better.

I've gone to this location for almost two decades now and it's always either been amazing, or downright disgusting. There's never an in-between. The good memories have kept me going back but I am afraid that after this past Saturday, I wont be returning. I got food poisoning from this particular visit. I know it was this place, because nothing I ate the 24 hours before would be capable of giving me the symptoms I got after eating here. I guess I ordered the Bacon Cheese Botulism with a side of fries dipped in Salmonella Sauce. Just don't order that and you should be fine.

Do not try the cheese fries it comes with sliced cheese in a wrapper like the plastic cheese real nasty. And the burgers our very greasy. They say quarter pounder but its like Wendys one dollar burger.

This will remind you of being at Crown Burger. If you want a greasy, tasty burger with fry sauce for your fries, you won't be disappointed. Don't expect anything special from this fast food joint.

Don't be fooled by the name or the restaurant's exterior. Big Jim's is first a foremost a burger place. But most surprising as you walk in are the middle eastern vases, the elaborate geometric patterning and the assortment of Greek and eastern foods alongside hamburgers.
