If you're in Nephi and you're hungry, Reed's is A-OK. The place seemed perfectly clean when I visited, so maybe they're fixed what some of the other reviewers griped about. The service was friendly, but super slow. It took about 20 minutes for them to make our bacon cheeseburger and teriyaki chicken sandwich. The food was fine, but nothing more. The buns were sort of stale and were extremely dry, after being toasted. The burger was overcooked to remove any semblance of juiciness. Both sammies were just very dry and pretty bland. The fries were very good. Crunchy on the outside and hot and soft in the middle. Their fry sauce is not good. It's more like thousand island. It's way too sweet. If the fry sauce would have been delicious, I could have used it to solve the burger's moisture problem. The ice cream section looked good. If there's a next visit, I'll try it.

Its better than any of the franchise places. Really tastes a lot like Crown Burger,Apollo Burger etc. Burgers were good the Pastrami Burger was the best, My son liked the chicken strips. The fry's were average, I'm not a big fan of the Potato wedge fries. The Onion Rings were very good. Ice Cream and Shakes were good as well.

There is a thin line between small town charm and run down restaurant. They had quite a few options on the menu. We had a seafood burger, chicken taco and a cheese burger. The seafood burger was a below average fish sandwich. Chicken taco was more like a chicken finger wrap. The cheeseburger --- average at best. I don't know why it is called a drive inn - it has a drive through but no drive in. The place was just run down. Super dirty. I got the feeling that this place was here just to feed people and not owned by someone who wants to do a good job.

I've been by Reed's before when it was packed ... it seems like the social center of Nephi--for what that's worth. So when I needed a late lunch in that neck of the woods today, there I went. The exterior isn't much to look at. Focus on the menu and not the peeling paint. Inside there are ceiling tiles that are mismatched and held on with wood screws. I forged on. The counter girl described some popular items. I wanted a navajo taco, then a hotdog, but as soon as she said "cucumbers" on the teriyaki chicken I ordered it. Wife got a chicken taco, but that is a misnomer. It was a burrito. In the end, Reed's was dilapidated but delicious. Just go at night ... dim light hides many flaws.

Decent burger joint. They have the best Ice cream in town. Prices are decent but the wait is a little slow.

Our family stopped here for dinner as an alternative to the fast food places. The burgers were good and the prices were reasonable. Definitely a good value. The restrooms are not the best but not horrible either. We did stop by on July 4th weekend so they had seen a lot of traffic.

Employees sniped at one another behind the counter. Service was so slow that we had a chance to observe the dirt. The glass doors were translucent with grime and fingerprints. The walls were gray within 6 inches of the floor and flecked by food and spills above that. Tables were unbussed and half of the ones that were bussed had substantial liquid and crumbs on them. No table wipe down had occurred. The bins for mustard and ketchup were clear plastic and had lids that you had to touch to get the condiment packets. That much is perfectly OK. The problem comes when the lids were greasy and sticky to the touch and no longer clear. The floors at the doorways had enough dirt to make it clear that they had not been cleaned in a long time, so that wetness and solid dirt had combined into something that could easily feed insects. I decided to get my camera from the car and resolved that if I got back with it before our order arrived, I would cancel our order. We were handed the food just as I walked back in. When we sat down to eat it, we were -- I am not making this up -- mobbed by houseflies. We fled to the car to eat. The sweet potato fries looked post-apocalyptic and unappetizing. My husband tried his and did not eat the rest. I was too revolted by the appearance to even sample mine. On the upside, the burgers tasted OK and we did not get sick.
