Convenient location right off the second I-15 exit in Nephi for travelers. I love coming to the One Man Band for breakfast. The food comes out better and faster than Dennys or IHOP. I always find quick seating. Coffee is always fresh.
On our way through on i15 and not to many choices in these small towns especially on a Sunday. Most everything is closed so this was a fun little find. Fun find. You order on a phone and when the food is ready they ring you. I got the cheese steak and it was really good. I would give it a 4 star! The flavor was awesome the bread was soft. They used fresh ingredients it was yum! We also ordered burgers. We got 3 different kinds and they were just ok. Nothing special. So we give the burgers a 2 so we met in the middle at 3 for the rating I'm must add the onion rings were awesome. Perfect! I would for sure go there again and stick with the cheese steak and onion rings!
This place is awesome. Yes, food is not spectacular but then again...American comfort food is not that spectacular anyways. It's the usual hash brown eggs scone etc. But, there is a one person working on everything. I think that makes this place so special! The decor is also an attraction. If u are on the I-15 southbound stop by.

We stop here on the way to and from Vegas every time. We always get a Denver omelet with fresh cut veggies and hash browns made from a real potato, and pancakes and the best tasting sausage patty that I have ever had in my life. The service is super quick and quality of food is impeccable. Lisa is happy and friendly. This place is the best.
This was the only place open in Jerome and was a short walk from the Comfort Inn that we were staying at. The staff is really friendly and food was delicious. The chicken fried steak was pretty good and worth it . Had with brown gravy and it didn't disappoint. They do have some beers available but not a lot. All domestic with a couple of micro brews but nothing to write home about. Overall a really nice place with a nice atmosphere and good food.
Cowboy decor wasn't over done. The staff was super nice. The food had a solid comfort food taste. When I walked in I said I'd be a fool if I didn't get the chicken fried steak. The food shows up and i comment how quick that was. Now for the bad part. My eggs were raw and had to go back. Not by my hand, the waitress insisted and took them before I could protest. I note to my dinning companion that this is the first time I've ever had food go back. I'm semi glad because the eggs were pretty raw. When my plate shows up the eggs look 100 times better and I'm feeling better but a little creeped over the incident. With the food in front of me looking better I let the hunger take over. First fork cut into the chicken fried steak and it gushes red. The C.F.S. is raw on the inside. You have to be kidding me. So how about that chocolate cream pie. Homemade and wonderful. I did not want to hate Lisa's The people were too nice. Just make sure you ask for well done food.

If you're in Nephi and you're hungry, Reed's is A-OK. The place seemed perfectly clean when I visited, so maybe they're fixed what some of the other reviewers griped about. The service was friendly, but super slow. It took about 20 minutes for them to make our bacon cheeseburger and teriyaki chicken sandwich. The food was fine, but nothing more. The buns were sort of stale and were extremely dry, after being toasted. The burger was overcooked to remove any semblance of juiciness. Both sammies were just very dry and pretty bland. The fries were very good. Crunchy on the outside and hot and soft in the middle. Their fry sauce is not good. It's more like thousand island. It's way too sweet. If the fry sauce would have been delicious, I could have used it to solve the burger's moisture problem. The ice cream section looked good. If there's a next visit, I'll try it.
Its better than any of the franchise places. Really tastes a lot like Crown Burger,Apollo Burger etc. Burgers were good the Pastrami Burger was the best, My son liked the chicken strips. The fry's were average, I'm not a big fan of the Potato wedge fries. The Onion Rings were very good. Ice Cream and Shakes were good as well.
There is a thin line between small town charm and run down restaurant. They had quite a few options on the menu. We had a seafood burger, chicken taco and a cheese burger. The seafood burger was a below average fish sandwich. Chicken taco was more like a chicken finger wrap. The cheeseburger --- average at best. I don't know why it is called a drive inn - it has a drive through but no drive in. The place was just run down. Super dirty. I got the feeling that this place was here just to feed people and not owned by someone who wants to do a good job.

Generously I give these folks three stars. Everyone working there was kind. And some of them even motherly, if that makes sense. Notwithstanding, I've found the food to be overpriced and it underdelivers. The generosity comes when you look at the other fast food Mexican options in the world, and you realize that they could be doing a lot worse. They make an effort to do things right, so the food doesn't come off as factory fresh. But it's not fantastic either. Stick with something like a burrito and it will get you by. It's a convenient location--a relative straight shot from I-15 if you're traveling through and want to stop. If you can hold on, though, you'll find a host of options open up once you get to Provo. If you're headed south, you best stop in Nephi because it's slim pickings down the road.
Terrible, terrible service. The drive through line was ridiculously slow. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
Food was fine -- you know what to expect. Service was excruciating. 35 minutes for two burritos and a quesadilla. Every car that came into the drive-thru was given priority over everyone waiting inside. Speaking of the inside, it reminded me of an unfortunate bus ride I took while visiting LA: worn and gross. Only this had the addition of Halloween decorations. There was something which appeared to have been a salsa bar at one time; not sure when that glorious day was, but it wasn't on our visit. I'm sure the place is a gold mine for the owners -- lots of weary travelers passing through. The employees have stopped caring. They don't have to, there's an endless supply of customers. There was a "help wanted" sign on the door -- so very true, but I don't think their problems will be fixed with more employees.

Lots of large, happy families there. Service was nice. Don't expect authentic mexican flavors though. Tacos have no taste. Just roast beef and lettuce. Go for the enchilada instead. The meat in there has sauce.
I went to this place out of necessity. Next time I'll just go hungry. Everything was obviously right out of the freezer. Except the refried beans and salsa, those were clearly from a can. Tortilla chips were stale. The wait staff were nice when they took a minute away from their phones. A 10 year old boy was running the register. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place on any level.
I went here on a recommendation of it being really good... After placing my order it took what seemed like too long... Just as I was about to aske the status of my order a girl asked me "you ordered the #11?" I answered "yes" she said she'g go get it.. when she placed the plate down I noticed right off the plast was NOT hot like all the oither mexican extablishments. I could see the cheese was not stringly but had been sitting for several minutes.. at first bite it was horrible.. the food was not even warm.. it was room temp. and I knew it had been sitting for who knows how long... I could not finish it.. whenI went to pay I told the girl that I was very dissapointed and the food was NOT hot.. all she said was "sorry" she seemed to not care at all.. I will not go here again...

Waiters seemed really friendly, the place seemed nice - although, after waiting 40 minutes for our food, we kept asking when the food would be ready, and they kept assuring us it would be a couple minutes. We then saw the two other groups of people who ordered 15 minutes after we came in get their food. They even ordered more food than we did. Our order was simple and small. After an hour went by, we had to leave. Ridiculous. Had to resort to the Burger King down the road. If you're on a road trip with a time constraint, don't stop in this town.
Without question the worst restaurant experience ever. Cold food, long wait, never checked back, poor quality. They know it and simply don't care. Expensive. We'll never eat at a Dennys again.
One star and that's being over rated, bad food, bad service. If it doesn't take you an hour to get seated, it will definitely take you an hour to get your food. At which time it will be a salad with no dressing. Even when you reminder waitress that you didn't get dressing you'll still not getting any. No drinks that you ordered. Over all just a bad experience.

If there was a lower rating would give I a half star at best nasty food customer service sucks and not sanitary leaving right now could only force myself to eat two fries and half my sandwich no go
This Burger King is hit or miss. But I wouldn't be caught dead in that annoying JC Mikelson's place across the street.
Pretty sure our breakfast sandwiches were made well prior to ordering, maybe 20min or more. Tots tasted like they were also sitting under heat lamp for awhile too. Coke tasted strange. Needs improvement and some pride in what they're doing as employees.

Well, I certainly wasn't going to hit up the Taco Time at the main Nephi exit. I spent a week there one afternoon, so on a recent trip home I wanted a quick bite and Subway was the winner. I've eaten a lifetime supply of Subway in my life. It's a long story, but in college I ate there for free at lunch every day. I've eaten every possible sandwich combination, and then got creative mixing meats and cheeses. It's been ages since I ate at Subway, so I went back and gave it the old college try. Perfectly passable. Exactly what you might expect. This location has super easy freeway access if you're interested in a quick on and quick off, plus it's got a decent restroom if you're coming off a long stretch of miles. Other than that, expect your standard sandwiches in a semi-aging building.
After reading the awful reviews, but not having many other options, we stopped by here. I really, really wanted to give this place a fair review, but so much is wrong with it. To start, we got in line. I ordered the July special, which was a oven roasted chicken sandwich. Or at least I tried to. They were out of the chicken. So I instead got a sandwich with ham and turkey. I asked for it to be toasted. While I was waiting for it to be toasted I watched at least 5 flies land on various meats and vegetables. None of the employees seemed to notice or care, it was disgusting. Somehow during the flyfest, my sandwich switched places with another guys and he ended up getting my sandwich. Once this was figured out there was a big, unprofessional fit about where which sandwich was and how such a thing could happen. Employee A blaming Employee B, B blaming A, both blaming the toaster, until their supervisor made them make me a new one. While they made me a new one, everyone else in the line had to wait. I'm not sure why they didn't help others as mine was being toasted, or why it was taking 2-3 people to make my sandwich, but that's what happened. So after a bunch of time I finally got to taste my sandwich. It was covered in the hot sriracha sauce. Way more than I've ever had on any sandwich. I love hot/spicy food, I love drenching things in sriracha, but this sauce was over everything. I almost think the girl did it just because she was angry at me for wanting the correct sandwich. Who knows, either way, the sandwich was awful because of how much sauce was on it. Oh, and as another reviewer said, they were out of promotional cups! I really wanted a Guardians of the Galaxy cup.
No promotional cups, no olives, no pepperjack cheese, no soups, no Italian herbs n cheese bread and no personality!! The subs are good (if you like subway) but they DON'T sell themselves people!!
