I really like this place. Only tried it for lunch so far, but they serve breakfast also. The interior is inviting and modern, like a coffee shop in San Francisco. Bread is delicious, a little on the thick side if you're a low-carber. I ordered a BLT and it was very fresh. The bacon was delicious and cooked perfectly. My husband ordered a pastrami sandwich but it was not heated so he didn't like it as much as I liked mine. Daughter got a turkey sandwich which she liked a lot, but it was way too big for a 6 year old. After that we began splitting sandwiches. Prices are fair IMO, the cookies and brownies good. They offer free (filtered?) water, but the cups they put out are tiny, so if you're a big water drinker do yourself a favor and pay for the bottled stuff, otherwise you'll be getting up ten times to refill. One time we went the owner kind of rushed us out, since it was closing time. But the next time she was super friendly so maybe we caught her on a stressed out day. The food comes out very quickly and like I said, it's very fresh. Highly recommend.

This place had the best Chai! 2 kinds to choose from too! The super friendly atmosphere is cozy & food is fresh, made on the spot. They made our sandwiches for our hike. I came back here a lot! Get there early, it can get packed.

Best whole-grain bread this side of the Colorado, and the owner Howard is always quick with a smile and some good convo. The bakery is also one of the only places in town where you can get a cup of Fresh Moab Coffee, which is a treat in itself. Be sure to check out the yoga studio in the back too. What a great space.

Pretty weak for a bakery. No croissants, no breakfast orders after 1100, expensive sandwiches with no frills. Reuben was $8 without so much as a chip or a pickle. Yikes. Nice mellow atmosphere. Moab has much better though. I don't feel compelled to ever hit this place again and I come to town every year.

Love the coffee, friendly service and free wifi - get there early because they sell out on items quickly!

Love this place! Really friendly staff and they've got good food too. I just moved to Moab, and I'm already well on my way to being a regular.

I happen to have a soft spot for bakeries. My husband and I used to own a little bakery in the mountains of Colorado, which we sold almost two years ago, and this treasure of a bakery in Moab did not disappoint! The owner was a very friendly guy, who made an amazing caramel pecan latte to start my morning! My mom and I shared a breakfast spin, which was packed solid with yummyness and filled us both up. And, we even got to take home a postcard with a beautiful picture of the arches of Moab and a tiny photo of the bakery on it. I highly recommend Red Rock Bakery Cafe to anyone who finds themselves in Moab!

Wonderful LOX bagel sandwich with generous portions that tasted great. Excellent drip coffee with fancier options available. Service people very friendly and efficient. Wish I had discovered this place on the first day of our visit instead of the last.

If you're going to call yourself an Internet cafe, you need to offer somewhat reliable Internet. I'm inside right now, but instead of using my computer with the wifi here to post this review, I'm using my phone. Because the wifi is so crappy. Also this tea tastes like it's been sitting around collecting dust for ages.

Pretty good spot in central Moab. Down to earth and plain decor. Friendly service. Crowd seems to show up to be seen and be cool. Their small to go cup of coffee was only 8oz, way too small! Cranberry scone was good

We stopped in for lunch on Saturday.Great bagels with cornmeal crust, mmmm. Turkey sandwiches on a bagel hit the spot, nice place for a quick bite and friendly service. Wish is was closer to home.

The Jailhouse Cafe was closed on January 2nd so we came here instead. Winning endorsement? Sorry. That's the truth. This place doesn't have a lot of things that I can eat, so I custom ordered four eggs like a weirdo and they were cool with it. I appreciated that. They didn't ask me how I wanted my eggs and I didn't really care. They came out super dry and with a couple of hairs in them. But when you order off of the menu, you kind of have to be prepared for anything, so I don't fault them for the dryness. The hairs each deducted a star from the review. Hence the three stars. I am a fair Yelper. This is why I have been crowned an Elite for the third year in a row. One star per found hair. Unfound hairs are not taxable!

Ordered medium drip coffee and girlfriend had double dirty chai. Total nearly 10$ and both were nearly undrinkable. I threw mine out and she finished hers only because we paid so much. Sticking to other venues in town for sure.

Best parmesan bagel sandwich ever! These people were so friendly and welcoming, I felt compelled to write a review immediately. I worked there for a few hours over lunch and it's a terrific spit with power outlets. Ingredients were very fresh and yummy

Warm and cozy spot with good, friendly service. Seemed to be a local hangout. The cinnamon rolls are amazing! Good think we were doing some serious hiking :)

Best place to get breakfast on Moab. Food is great, coffee is great, owner is great. He's usually behind the counter.

Incredible! The Greek bagel and Howard's Special were both amazing. Best scone I've ever had. Latte was also very good. I would definitely come back.

Mediocre food, disappointing service. I really hope management asks their employees to start caring a bit more - your lack of enthusiasm shows. :(

I had a club sandwich and a cream cheese brownie. Husband had a tuna sandwich and a peanut butter brownie. All of it was just ok. Not anything I'd go back for.

This place is a must when we are in Moab! Great place to work before a ride. Excellent Sandwiches, salads, baked goods, bagels and homemade granola to die for! Howard, the owner, is a gem and I always look forward to seeing him!

The fresh made-in-house-daily whole grain seed bread is the absolute best. Good house coffee. Expect a line (popular place) but it moves fast. Friendly service. Free WiFi. One computer station. Tip: Bagels aren't baked here, get the "Toasty" made with their bread (see uploaded pic).

Only stopped in for breakfast. I had a sunflower bagel with scrambled egg, sausage, cheese, and tomato. Really nice sandwich. The bagel was quite hearty. A dense, tasty bagel. Coffee was very good. I was able to drink and enjoy it black.

Great Coffee, Fresh baked breads, bagels, cookies, cakes and huge muffins! they have a nice sandwich menu. Friendly service and best of all free Wi-Fi... They don't rush you out, you can hang out there for hours if you need to use the internet...When you're camping this is a real plus!!!!

We came here for a quick breakfast before a day of hiking and mountain biking. You order at the counter and pick up your food at the window. Seat yourself and enjoy. All four of us ordered egg and sausage sandwiches on a cheese bagel. Very, very tasty! I think that sausage patty may have been the best breakfast sausage I've ever eaten! We also ordered a cinnamon roll (excellent) and a blueberry scone (mixed reviews). My sister felt it was too moist, while my BIL thought it was fantastic. I thought it was just OK, but it was chock full of fat blueberries. The coffee was good and the guy at the counter was friendly and helpful. Best of all, the bagel sandwiches plus a cinnamon roll and blueberry scone kept us nice and full for our day on the trails.

We needed bagels for a week long backpacking trip for a family of 5 including 3 hungry teenage sons. We called ahead and they had 3 dozen tasty healthy bagels ready to go. Give 24 hrs notice if possible. We also recommend the cookies and brownies!

After days of camping in Indian Creek, this was a great stop for the pre-drive breakfast and coffee! Very friendly staff and yummy eats! The atmosphere suits both those of you who want to sit and those who want take-out. I'm keeping this one on my list of place to stop next time!

I had some of the pastries and a hot chocolate. Everything was delicious! There were 2 ladies working out front and they both talked to me as if we had known each other for a while - real warm and friendly! I stopped by on my last day this time, but they will be one of my first stops next time!

Great place to hang out with fast internet. I recently spend a few days in Moab and needed a place to do some work while on the road. Red Rock Bakery has great baked goods, breakfast was good (they have some fun bagel based breakfasts), and the coffee is great. Service was friendly and welcoming. I found it to be the best internet cafe in Moab.

Full disclosure? We were camping and searching for a place to charge all of our electronics. Being Seattleites, a coffee shop was as natural a place as we could think of. Man we were disappointed...that we hadn't eaten breakfast here instead of wasting our money over at the Pancake Haus. We had coffee (GOOD coffee...thank god!) and sat about plotting our road trip and enjoyed the one refill you get with every purchased cup (awesome!). We didn't get any of the food we saw leaving the kitchen, but I wish we had--it looks pretty awesome, and the staff was super friendly. Next time I'm in Moab, this is my breakfast spot.

For brevity's sake: Free Internet, lots of space, many outlets to plug things in. Came for small breakfast -- coffee was fine, blueberry muffin not that great and expensive for what it was. Guy behind the counter was super friendly.

after driving to moab from salt lake we were starving so stopped by this place to get some lunch. i ordered a smoothie, but was told that their blender was broken. i was disappointed, but after lunch headed to Peach Tree down the street to get my smoothie fix. i got the BLT and it was so bland that i didn't even finish half of it. i took a few bites and then finished the bacon. staff was friendly, but the food wasn't good. would i come back next time i'm in moab? no.

Very good coffee, friendly atmosphere. Pretty good baked goods too, and hearty bread. I thoroughly enjoyed my freshly made breakfast bagel here as well - note that it is served with veggie cream cheese. Really liked the coffee. They serve other breakfast options and do sandwiches at lunch. Very glad they were open in the winter. Soccer/futbol on the TV. Stop on in.

I came to this place randomly with a few girlfriends for an early lunch after camping/eating nothing but camp food for 2 days at Arches, and man did this hit the spot! We had a friendly waiter named Christopher who gave us some awesome recommendations for food as well as a few places to see around the small town of Moab. I had an iced mocha as well as a breakfast bagel with bacon and both were delicious! It was also a great place to regroup, charge our phones, and make plans for the rest of our trip. We were just all a little disappointed that we found this place right before we left town, because we definitely would have been coming back.

Nice place for a light breakfast and coffee. Though I sure had a hard time getting them to turn on the 'free' wifi. I had to ask several times even though they advertise this place as a "internet" cafe. Nice and clean ... I'll come again.

Stopped by here for a coffee while visiting Moab and decided to go with a smoothie instead. Strawberry, yum, but it cost about 5 bucks! It was good and all but I think I should have stuck with coffee for a $1.80! The desserts looked delicious, should have gotten one but decided against it. They also served up lunch and much more. Eclectic inside, easy going vibe. Would stop there again if I was in the area and give some of their other options try.

The owner a scottish transplant knew everyone who walked in the door, Helped some tourists find a shoe place in town, and served good food and coffee. Wireless Internet. Local art and photography on the walls. Cool coffee table books all around. Food to go. Cool place.

Great sandwiches to go (but stay away from the bagels, they're weird). Sandwiches are big so $9 could get you 2 meals worth. Also they've got really good coffee (regular joe, nothing complex) -- so have a cup while you wait.

We stopped here both mornings we were in Moab before heading out for our national park visits. Good espresso coffee drinks and great breakfast sandwich choices. If I lived in Moab I'd be a regular.

ok we had some baked thing and coffee here. the staff had a problem dealing with 4 people being in the shop 30 minutes before close - maybe the rest of the crew goes home early? i dunno. i ordered a large iced coffee that took about 15 minutes to make - and what i got must have been a small, about 8 ounces for 4 bucks - and even less coffee in there when you add the ice - but the ice was this places saving grace - i love iced coffee with ice cubes made from coffee and that's how they do it here, and the biodegradable corn based cups are a good thing too. maybe in the AM when they are fully staffed this place is better, it seems to draw a large crowd of people with nothing else to do. i probably would find coffee elsewhere next time i am in town.

What a lovely spot to grab breakfast before a hike. I love the bagel sandwiches here... simply delicious. I got the standard bagel with egg, provo cheese, and bacon. The bagels are not too heavy, and have the nice crispy crumbs on the bottom. The breakfast sandwich wasn't greasy either(thank you!) and was a perfect way to start the day.

A local pointed us this way when we asked about getting a sandwich to take with us while we hiked the day away. The sandwiches here perfectly fit the bill. The 7 grain bread was the best we have had and the rest of the ingredients were so tasty. We were able to refuel and happily hit the trails in the afternoon. Everyone we chatted with was so helpful and cheery. This was our favorite place in Moab.

High prices for small portions. Variable treatment, depending on the customer (some people get free coffee refills, others don't). The coffee is excellent, however.

Great breakfast sandwiches and brown bag lunches (hits the spot on a long hike in Arches). They were also very nice and threw in some day old baked goods.

Maybe I loved this place so much because it reminded me of the coffee shops from my college days, but I ended up visiting twice (and staying to hang out) on my brief stop in Moab. The coffee and food are good but I agree that the service was a bit slow...but that's the price you pay to eat at a cafe versus McDonald's. And I was ok with it. I will definitely be stopping by again the next time I visit Moab.

Who knew that Moab was such a haven of hipness? As the first stop of my southwest national parks road trip, my friends and I fueled up for Arches at Red Rock, an adorable cafe right across the street from our motel. Everything we tried was great - yogurt and granola, bagel with egg and veggie cream cheese (I had never thought to try both of these in combination; turns out it's totally delicious), a breakfast bun thing with sundried tomatoes and lots of veggies. Other pluses: hot gruff mountain men, as much free internet as your heart desires, and friendly servers who will point you toward Moonflower, the local grocery store co-op. Unfortunately, they didn't realize that said store would be closed the day after christmas; sad news for me, but happy news for my friends who weren't quite comfortable with that level of hippie-ness.

Cinnamon Rolls are great. Coffee was Awesome. Crew is great and easy on the eyes. $8+ for a large latte' and cinnamon roll, worth it though.

Came to Moab with low food expectations and I was really pleasantly surprised. The town has attracted a lot of West and East Coast transplants and it shows in the food. This place has really good bagels - thick and chewy with lots of cornmeal on the bottom. The extra cornmeal is different from what I'm used to but I liked it. The cream cheese spread (veggie) was excellent as well. I bought a yummy pumpkin scone for the road. They do their own baking and they know what they are doing. I wish I had time to come back here.

This is a killer coffee shop. it's the kind of coffee shop I would spend a lot of time in if it were in my town. I was running a half marathon the morning I visited and their amazingly crusty whole wheat bagel with peanut butter, which was definately all natural, was just perfect to get me through the morning. It's the sort of coffee shop that regulars walked in and they asked if they wanted their usual and referred to them by name. Later that afternoon, we went back for some iced coffee since we were sluggish and hot and the Red Rock Bakery is now moved to genius in my book for having ice cubes made of coffee. Why didn't I think of that?

  • Ed R.

The breakfast bagel was not too bad at all. Skip the sausage though, unless you need fattening up, and wads of grease does not affect your arteries. The sandwiches we got for lunch were pretty nice, and wrapped up tightly - great for lugging and hiking.

  • Sammantha R.

This place is better than Love Muffin, in my opinion. Their bagels are AWESOME - if you're not ordering a curry bagel, you're doing it wrong. The prices are a little bit high, but the coffee is good and the service is fast and friendly. Planet Earth/Frozen Planet/Bue Planet are always playing on the TV, along with some good, indie pop music.

This place rocks!! Very friendly crew is the first thing to say about this place. They have a good choice of delicious breakfasts and awesome coffee. We picked up bagels twice. Also, their sandwich bag option is really good. This helps in planning lunch on a day when you are heading out to the parks or on an adventure. The vegan sandwich is delicious and comes with the unique cream soda as an option for the drink. The cookies are HUGE and delicious. Though, I didn't need to use it, they have a very low priced plan for internet usage. Must visit place for next time around!

We travel to or through Moab frequently and the Red Rock Bakery is often our first stop upon arriving into town or waking up in the morning. Having come here frequently over the years I've noticed that the food and service are consistently of very good quality. I have yet to be disappointed. The coffee is definitely flavorful and freshly brewed. Nice and strong for those who enjoy this (I do). The egg and cheese bagel sandwiches are a nice start to the day, and the lunch sandwiches on fresh baked whole grain bread are overflowing with fresh veggies. On my most recent visit I enjoyed an oven baked turkey sandwich with roasted red peppers, provolone cheese, all the veggies and dijon mustard. Very tasty and the sandwich was large enough to have the second half for dinner. I highly recommend the Red Rock bakery for take out or sitting and relaxing!

Great locally owned cafe to sip locally roasted coffee & talk without being blasted by loud music. The soup and home-made bread was hearty & delicious. This place is also pretty vegetarian friendly.
