Number 2 on my top ten pizza places. And they have some pretty good spaghetti. It's a tradition of ours to go here when the rodeo is going on in Heber.

Currently sitting here right now - decent food, great wait staff, nice music on the patio. Then there's the owner/manager. My husband went in to compliment him on his wait staff, to tell him how impressed he was, and the owner cut him off saying he's too busy to talk to him. On top of that, several in our party have heard him yelling over and over at the staff - in front of a full house of customers. Not impressed and not the type of person I care to support. Maybe it's just a bad night, but that's a BAD night.

My husband and I visited Cafe Galleria for our second time recently during Swiss days. The service was again awful. It took a long while to be even acknowledged by the owner, who was trying to play the role of host and seat guests. Then, after 15+ minutes, we had to get up and ask multiple times if there was a server assigned to our table. The service was poor, as our server forgot nearly every item we requested. We refilled our water glasses ourselves. Our appetizer was delivered after the salad and main entree. The owner was inexcusably rude and confrontational. The food was mediocre, at best. Midway is such a beautiful town, and the owner and staff of Cafe Galleria have missed such a great opportunity to add to Midway's charm, by not treating patrons well, dishing out disrespect, sub-par food, and long waits.

I REALLY want to like this place because the food is really good BUT the service is so awful. My friends and I came here for breakfast on Aug 23rd and it wasn't very busy and we were seated right away. We sat at our table for over 15 minutes without even seeing our server or being offered anything to drink. I had to go hunt someone down and she asked how long we had been sitting... Finally someone came over and took our drink orders and it took her EONS to bring them out. Coffee and water, nothing crazy. But she still said "it just takes a long time" it takes a long time to fill water? Give me a break. We ordered food then waited another eternity for it to come out. This place was not that busy and they seemed well staffed so I'm not really sure where the problem was. The food was good but the service really turned us off. I certainly will not be back.

Hysterically bad service, but the patio is so cute. You can go there and spend 20 minutes--as tho you're in a park--and leave without anyone speaking to you, which can be a good thing I guess. For the same price as this cafe's mysteriously tasteless breakfast skillet, I'd rather have a stunning breakfast with 4-star service at Blue Boar Inn, a few minutes drive. Had the pizza here once too. Really REALLY mediocre, unfortunately. But the baked goods are fresh & exciting. Don't count on butter, jam, honey, etc., coming with your order though (scour empty tables & you may get lucky; one time, the server plucked the honey I was using right off my napkin & gave it to another table).

Worst dining experience ever....no one greeted us, even though it said wait to be seated. Just picked our own seat...were finally greeted by server. Got our pizza order wrong 3 times, third time you could tell the toppings were scraped off with a butter knife and replaced. Crust was doughy...server apparently became frustrated with the kitchen and had someone else wait on us instead. The final order which was still wrong was not edible, pizza only half cooked. The manager would only comp us for 50%, he didn't even want to hear what happened. We were never upset, just a little confused on why it was so hard to make a pizza. We left hungry, and disputed the charges on my credit card, which my bank refunded. Will never go back to that hell hole.

I feel bad I have to give them any stars... I have twice visited Café Galleria in Midway. The first time was a really bad experience, we were put behind the gazebo and took over 20 minutes just to get a glass of water - yikes! I thought it was unfortunate timing and placement, and decided to give it another try. The second time was FAR WORSE. Our waitress was so incompetent she forgot to make a milk shake, she forgot to bring condiments, she forgot beers, she forgot to refill wine, she brought out garlic bread after the meal was finished, she criticized us for not specifying the dinner caprese instead of the appetizer caprese (like I studied their menu). I ask you, shouldn't she have clarified - THEY HAVE 3 CAPRESES, AND SHE ASSUMED THE MOST EXPENSIVE DINNER SALAD WHEN WE ORDERED DINNER ENRTEES AS WELL? When we sent the wrong salad back she LITERALLY rolled her eyes. The quality of these meals are so-so at best (most are pizzas - how do you screw up a pizza), and not cheap - I don't need an incompetent waitress to add generous portions of attitude to the already overprice "heartburn on a plate". We were not a raucous group, I was dining with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and wife when Cecile Duval came to the table (ready for an argument), asked with a tone if everything was alright. My wife restated our experience. Cecile, owner/ operator at his own overly-proud proclamation, asked what we wanted him to do. We simply asked that he merely chat with the server about the 10 or so blunders we just encountered. He said, "she's 15 years old, and my best server and perhaps we should leave and not come back". WHAT?!? Frankly friends, Cecile Duval could not ask me to exit an establishment I would far more willingly exit... This was not a heated exchange mind you (also folks, take note that at Cecile's own admission this was his best server. I would hate to see his worst). Please, please, please do not support an establishment who treats their clientele in this manner. I would not recommend Café Galleria ANYONE... EVER! There are great eating establishments in Midway and Heber who treat people with mutual respect, why tolerate this really bad behavior, incompetent wait staff, and a blustery, argumentative "owner/ operator'.

Food was good. But service/kitchen is seriously lacking. It took a good 20 minutes for any of our food to come out. And then it was only 2 of the 5 meals we ordered. After another 5 minutes we got 2 more meals, and then had to wait 10 minutes to get my 3 year olds macaroni and cheese. Our waitress said that they had a huge pizza order come in and that's why ours was so behind. After she brought my husband and my pizzas (the second set of food) she told us that they were just starting to make the macaroni and cheese. Seriously? That doesn't even make sense. The macaroni was overcooked and the cheese sauce was just a bechamel with some Parmesan sprinkled on top but luckily my son liked it. The waitress barely came by our table. We had to catch her attention to get water and to get the bill. This was at 4:30pm and it wasn't busy. They need to work on their organization in the kitchen and with their wait staff. We were super disappointed! Good thing the food was good!

Second time I've been here, the food is good, the salami bagel is quite tasty. Had the margarita pizza this time wasn't impressed. It was a cheese pizza. The service has been extremely slow, so if you are in a rush, don't go. Love the atmosphere and live music. Overall good place to hangout with friends.

We stopped here for breakfast this morning and the breakfast skillets were fantastic. Also the cafe mocha I had was delicious. Our group also shared a order of pancakes that were very good and light and fluffy. It's a good thing that the food was so good and that is why I'm giving 3 stars, because the service was terrible. It took forever to get our drink orders and even longer to get our food. And when we arrived there were only two or three other tables occupied in the restaurant so there was not an excuse of it being crazy busy. It could have easily been a 5 star review if the service had been acceptable.

This little restaurant was such a treat! We really enjoyed the ambiance. We chose to sit outside. The weather was perfect and sunset was beautiful. There was a live guitarist singing some very relaxing songs. I really liked that. Their menu is a little small, but they have all the basics. I had a vegetarian pizza with goat cheese, roasted peppers, and caramelized onions. It was delicious, but could have done with a little more sauce. The waitress was extremely sweet and helpful. I would definitely eat there again if ever in Midway!

  • Tracie C.

Great location and cute converted house. To bad the service and the food didn't fit the atmosphere. The live music was great and they said they were so busy but the only tables occupied were outside. After the manager giving us a hard time we finally got seated it was slow service at best. A couple who sat next to us actually got up and left after waiting a very long time and never even being greeted. If it wasn't for the couple we were with being regulars and stating this wasn't normal for them we accepted it as an off day. The pizza was average. It's really hard to have exceptional pizza these days with some many places to compete with but probably for such a small town and unique location it was good. We would probably give them another try on a day when they didn't seem seem so overwhelmed but since we were just passing through it may be a while before we get back.

We were staying in Park City and came here for dinner. The fresh pizza was perfect - ingredients were fresh, prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was darling. You won't be disappointed!

I really like this place. It's a cute old home that's been converted to the restaurant. Food is fresh and anyways yummy. Joey and Karla are amazing, Always super friendly and very helpful. Joey cracks me up, everything is "guys", thanks guys, this way guys..even if it's all women. Cracks me up, you can't help but love him. There is ample outdoor seating, weather permitting anyway. In the summers there is sometimes live music outside on the weekends. There is a local guy that sings and plays the guitar, he's amazing. Stop in and try some pizza, don't forget the Mule Madness for dessert!

  • Rod S.

Been here several times. The first time I was blown away. A wood burning stove of this quality. Very good pizza. The owners visited some and told us what they were trying to do. The great patio/lawn area. What was there not to like. Over time, I started noticing the details. The crust wasn't always cooked correctly. It's a little doughy. The sauce is Utahn sweet. Service was lacking. That's OK on a leisurely Sunday once they get you a beer and you're reading the paper, but not otherwise.

  • Ryan T.

This is lousy pizza at best. Not a real Margherita pizza. Bad wannabe. Not expensive, but for poor taste and low quality ingredients it's overpriced. Service was cool at best. I wouldn't eat here again by choice.

This was the best gluten free pizza I've had. The outdoor area and live music created a nice atmosphere.

Average food. Below average service. Very used tables and chairs. Midway needs more competition to improve service and food.

On a co-worker's recommendation, I took a pleasant drive to Midway to investigate this place. Cafe Galleria is a reasonably priced VPN-wannabe restaurant in a converted home. Not knowing any better, I sat inside; they have plenty of outdoor seating and I quickly realized that's the better way to go (weather permitting). Whenever I visit a pizzeria that bills itself as authentic, I always start with a Margherita--this is the quintessential pizza of Napoli, and while it seems so simple it is the make-or-break test. Overall, I thought the pizza was very delicious (especially the dough, which as others have said is wonderful) although not entirely authentic, hence my VPN remark above. This was not the fastest service ever, but I felt it was nothing to complain about. I think it is definitely worth stopping here if you're in the area.

I've only been here once, but here's my review- I had the pizza and salad. The concept and presentation were great- nice European style thin crust pizza with a mixed green salad. The reality, however is that the greens weren't so fresh. They were wilted and limp. The pizza crust should have been satisfyingly crisp and chewy at the same time. There was no crispness. It was almost like a flatbread in consistency. Still, a satisfying meal and nice venue. The service was way slow (like it took over 30 minutes to get our food)

Came for breakfast on a weekend getaway at Zermatt. I would say it was so-so across the board. Food, service, ambience was all decent, but nothing stand-out. The waitress couldn't even tell us the difference between a Fritatta and an omelette. (They serve frittatas, but no omelettes.). Probably wouldn't go there again.

  • Dustin D.

Food was bland and service was poor. My wife ordered margarita pizza, they brought her cheese pizza. Asked waitress and she said they just make it different here. Double checked the menu, and no, they have a different description on what she got. My pizza looked and smelled great but it was bland. Friday or Saturday night is not the time to eat here. Go for lunch or dinner during a week night and you might have better luck. I wanted to give two stars because our meal was about $17, but even at that price I was angry that I wasted money on gas station food.

  • Cody N.

The service was great. Very cute design. Reasonably priced. We got spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, 6 slices of bread, 2 side salads and 2 sodas for $26 plus tip. The food was spectacular. The pasta sauce is sweet but not sweet like a dessert, just a hint.

  • Frank D.

Unbelievable how bad all the food was that I ate. The pizza was amazingly terrible and when I told the waiter the owner came out and began to hammer me about how great they have been for the last 10 years! If you want to eat food out of a can then this is your place to eat! Im never eating there again. ..

  • T. S.

The place was cute, the live music good, the service fine, and the pizza really not that good; it reminded me of Chucky Cheese or Peter Piper Pizza! If I lived in the town, I wouldn't go back. The best part was the olive tapenade appetizer.

Café Galleria is a cute cafe and bakery in Midway. They have photos from around the world decorating the walls and posters from the local Cowboy pottery festivals. The cafe has a great local vibe. In the warmer months they have a nice outside patio with lots of seating, under some large shade trees, but when it's colder you'll be seating inside. Because it's an old house that was converted into a restaurant the seating is stretched out over a few different areas, which is nice because it never feels crowded, even when it's busy. We've eaten at Café Galleria a few times for breakfast and for dinner. For breakfast the cinnamon French toast, made from their fresh, homemade bagels was very good. My wife enjoyed a tasty frittata. For dinner we've had the spaghetti special twice, which included a small side salad, large plate of spaghetti, and yummy garlic bread. We liked it enough the first time we actually went back later for the same thing. The spaghetti sauce was excellent and the homemade garlic bread, baked in their wood-fired pizza oven was delicious! Prices are reasonable and service is fast and friendly. When I'm in Midway next, I know where I'll be eating again. Give Café Galleria a try, I think you'll really like it.

On our first visit June 2014, the food was incredible and the service impeccable. The pizza was phenomenal. Our next visit June 2015..... Food was good and the service was horrible! We had to ask for a server, for drink refills etc. I was disappointed in the huge change. As we waited I overheard other patrons complain about the service. One of the servers acted very "put out" when we asked about the menu. Too bad because it was and could be an amazing place!!

Came here for lunch after a bike ride up Provo Canyon. PROS: I'm not a fan of lasagna but I'm not kidding- it was to die for. Huge slice and the sauce was thick and great tomatoey taste. Draft beer- can't remember the variety, but served in the coldest mug making it heaven! Salad was small, but refreshing . NOW ONTO THE ......... CONS: Martguerita pizza was not cooked correctly. It came out with just a few pieces of tasteless basil and the crust should be somewhat crisp and even charred. Came out chewy and bland. Service- very poor. We sat outside at a nice little table. Our female server not once checked back on us to see how our food was and I would have ordered another beer- but she lost that opportunity. My husband, no kidding, took our empty plates inside so he could get our final check!!!! I may come back for lasagna and a cold one- but not for pizza. Having been to Italy 3x- this is not fire grilled pizza- Sorry!

Such a cute place! We went in the morning to get Breakfast and coffee. I had the mushroom bagel sandwich, amazing. It was toasted in the fire oven and had caramelized onions and peppers. So great. My brother had the cinnamon french toast which was fluffy and rich. They also brought out two little corn muffins as sort of appetizers. I love little details like that, so I was really happy with the entire thing. Cute place, friendly servers. Easy going atmosphere and very reasonable prices. So perfect for a start to a ski day!

I think this is a great restaurant in Midway. Had breakfast and lunch here today. Great food. Only complaint is their juices aren't great. OJ and Lemonade aren't very good.

This place is pretty good. We went after visiting the ice castles. Ordered a few of their pizzas and they were good. Clearly the highlight of this restaurant. Also got the spaghetti and meatballs. Could have made better at home. No flavor or seasoning. Just bland. I ordered on of their shakes and was a little disappointed at the price and size of the shake. I didn't think it was worth the price They were busy and we got seated pretty quick. Service was good. I'd recommend just getting pizzas. The owner seemed flustered that it was soo busy. Ice Castles had been in Utah for at least 2 months so I'd figured he would have seen crowds like this already. Maybe he was having a rough day.

Fresh food! Friendly service! I had the breakfast skillet with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella. Great prices and great quality of food! We won't eat at the resorts again!!

Can't decide what the worst part of this place is. Granted I'm all about american pizza rather than "authentic traditional" but there was just too much about this place that was unimpressive. The only good thing was the outside decor to make it look quaint. Inside though the staff seemed like a bunch of could care less teenagers who didn't know what they were doing. The table covering is white butcher paper, I've never seen that at a restaurant. We knew the pizzas would be big enough to share one but my wife really wanted to get the grilled vege pizza. Big mistake, we didn't read the menu well enough so we didn't realize this is a pizza without cheese. Seriously, who makes a pizza without cheese!? We ended up emptying a whole parmesan container on top to make it taste semi pizzaish. We also ordered a salad which we shared but cost almost as much as a pizza, and all it had was shredded lettuce and a few cucumbers and tomato. We didn't finish the salad, we finished the pizza because we were desperately hungry. Will never go back to try anything else.

Honest, delicious and really good pizza! It has that adorable European road side cafe feel, located quite delightfully close to the homestead hot spring resort. There are places that make you fee good with the ambience but there are very few that make you feel warm with their food. This place does both! Highly recommended! All ingredients are fresh and have that home cooked hand made taste.. The crust is fresh, crispy and wholesome.. The sauce is delicately flavored... Do come here.

Our family loved this place - great vibe and their pizza was awesome! We sat on the patio - awesome evening and place!

One of my favorite last min dinner spots. Down the road from my house. Easy to get too. Never had parking problems. Food is so yummy. Service iS NORMALLY really good. When busy they seem to get a bit flustered. Love the outside seating and local music artists that play. Overall I love this place. Oh and make sure to get a mule madness for dessert...delish!!

Love the wood-fired salt bagels made fresh each morning and the pizzas are spot on. Great patio in the summer.

This is my first yelp review, but I feel it is well deserved. This is a really nice dining experience. Great outdoor atmosphere for summer evenings. I really enjoy the Pizza and Lasagna. I won't claim that it is the most authentic, but it's fresh and the pizza crust is amazing. I first tried their pizza a little over a year ago and have been looking forward to coming back ever since. It's doesn't let down.

I've driven by this place many times and have always wanted to try it out. Today was the day.. I had a really good breakfast outside in the fresh mountain air. For $6.95 I got the two egg, bacon, potato, with toast. I'll be coming back.

Food was very good, just small portions. Waitress was friendly. The man who ushered us to our table was terrible. I have never encounter the likes of him. I might go back one more time.

A really wonderful find. Wife and I wanted to have Italian and this place popped up very close to where we were staying. We decided to do take-out since we were tired, but really were impressed. We both got the spaghetti special with an upgraded salad (pear and Gorgonzola is the way to go) and it was very good. Spaghetti was basic on its own, but with the meatball and salad it really did hit the spot. Additionally, the staff seemed very friendly and close. They wrapped the spaghetti to avoid a mess. Most of the patrons were outside where they had a band playing and it really was just a nice little restaurant. I would absolutely recommend this.

Lame! Wait over an hour, super slow service, food below average. Not with your time or money! Appetizer orders did not arrive until main course came, orders arrived wrong and, in one case, not at all - still charged full price though! For a place that uses a wood-fired oven for cooking "the oven was too hot so we had to shut it down" isn't an excuse! You MUST know how to use your equipment if it is the only equipment you have. Disappointing from start to finish.

I'm changing my rating to 5 stars. We eat here weekly. From the home baked bagels to the fresh pizza, this place is great. Great like, drive up here on a friday night great. Consistently good, made from scratch, and I covet that pizza oven they cook from. I want one in my back yard. this is the best of the best. Seriously good food. Dammit, I can taste it now.

  • Mary C.

Nice little place to sit outdoor and enjoy fresh made oven brick pizzas with the toppings of your choice. Pizza and salad was a great deal. Meatballs and the sauce a must try. The best was the dessert - moose tracks ice cream with the yummy nuggets of chocolate covered peanut butter morsels!!! Bo, our waiter, was exceptionally nice - apologizing for the delay in taking our order and the food coming out but it was a nice afternoon - comfortable outdoors for lunch.

Cafe Galleria is a popular spot on Main Street in Midway. I've been here twice now and the food is pretty good for this kind of place but the service is not good. The servers are trying but many tables, including ours, endured long waits. Some left without getting served. My pizza showed up OK but my wife's salad took another 20 minutes. My 2nd beer never showed up. I don't know if it's the staffing, the training or the kitchen but it's painfully slow.

Again we returned to Cafe Galleria at 6055 S 900 East Murray, UT . Waitress remembered us and warm welcome to start. We ordered different meal. My wife said Roasted mushroom was out of the world good! We just can't help returning back to this place because portion is perfect and we just can't compare with other pizza restaurant. We want all who are reading reviews to know, you must try this place. Once you try, you will return like us :)

We visited Midway for a few days and dined at Cafe Galleria twice. Both times there were very few other people there when we sat down and ordered. I mention that because it appeared that when it filled up (after we were served) the service level seemed to slow down -- too much waiting. There is a large outdoor garden style seating area that's very relaxing and comfortable and has a nice blend of sun and shade, depending on your preference. Yesterday, late afternoon, we stopped here for beers. In Utah you have to order food with drinks and we're glad we sampled one of their pizzas to share. The wood-fired crust was above average and very tasty. It was done just right. We ordered a classic "Martguerita" pizza and were a bit disappointed in the ingredients (little basil, no fresh tomatoes on top, too much American/cheddar flavor), but what was there was fresh and good and all in all it was a very tasty snack. We saw another table get a wider variety of pizza and it looked quite good. This morning we went early for coffee and bagel sandwiches. The bagels are cooked to order in the wood-fired oven and they are amazing. Our sandwiches were excellent. My wife had a traditional egg, ham and cheese and I had a tuna melt. Generous ingredients and delicious. Iris, our server, was friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again if we return to this town. The food is very good, and the prices are reasonable. The outdoor atmosphere in this slow-paced and quaint little town works well with the outdoor dining approach.

Adorable little cafe in Midway, UT. We went for breakfast on a Sunday, and were pleasantly surprised by this charming place. We were seated immediately and proceeded to have an awesome breakfast. The basic 2-egg plate is incredibly affordable for such a huge portion. The homemade cinnamon rolls are to die for, and the service was very friendly. Looks like they have a great selection of local beers and an awesome patio for when it gets warmer!

We either go here for breakfast, which is the best we've found in the Heber/Midway area, or do take out pizza. We've never dined in for lunch or dinner so never experienced the service issues. For take out, they have always been fast and curtious. Breakfast service has always been great. We've had a million times better pizza in other cities but in this area, we've found cafe galleria to be the best.

Mediocre food!! Absurdly slow service!! Plan ahead for your busy season-you know you'll be busy-staff accordingly! The mozzarella cheese on the caprese was not fresh, the garlic bread tasted microwaved, and they clearly couldn't handle the volume at the restaurant.

It's unfortunate when 4-star food is ruined by people who don't know how to run a restaurant. Waited 1.5 hrs, only saw our waitress once, people who came after us got their food and left. When we cordially asked how much longer the manager was belligerent and rude. Worst service I have EVER had. He does NOT belong in hospitality.

This is a nice, cozy, little brick-oven pizza place. I came in with some family and family friends after some bowling in Heber per suggestion of another friend. The space itself is comfortable and has a good small town charm to it. I got their pepperoni pizza and have to say that even though I'm rarely a fan of thin crust, I really enjoyed it. The cheese in particular was very tasty, and the crust had the perfect amount of crispiness to it. I'd recommend Cafe Galleria, and I'll be back when I'm in Midway again.

We've eaten here dozens of times and always recommend it to friends. They have a great variety of gourmet brick oven pizzas, delicious pasta, and homemade bagel sandwiches. Our favorite is the mushroom artichoke salad and arugula pine nut pizza. We've never had a bad experience with service! It's a great spot to dine outdoors in the summer and listen to live music!

The food is good but service could use some improvement. On a recent visit I ordered roasted pepper and goat cheese pizza. We picked up the pizza to take home to eat while we caught up on back episodes of No Reservation. Unfortunately, Cafe Galleria forgot to put the goat cheese on our Roasted Pepper and Goat Cheesey pizza.

Cafe Galleria is the best pizza ever! Their salads and appetizers are also top notch. Went here with some friends after a night at the ice castles and it didn't disappoint. They have great variety and their service is excellent as well. If you're in Heber/Midway this is one place you definitely have to try.

Best Italian-style pizza in Utah. Blows Settebello out of the water, IMO. Yeah, I was surprised too. Especially considering the location.

During my trip to Utah, we stayed in the cute town of Midway. We arrived late Sunday evening, and most places were closed. This was one of the only places opened, and although I hate dining out without research, my family and I were famished. After dropping by The Store for groceries, we dropped into this little cafe for take-out. We enjoyed our meal so much, we ventured here for breakfast again on Thursday, and dinner again on Friday. The cozy little restaurant has a wood-burning brick oven as the centerpiece to their dining area and an ice cream/soda fountain bar wrapped around their back enclosure. They not only have pizza, but make their bagels fresh daily. Not quite like a NY style bagel, but chewy and delicious in their own right. Food: 4 Stars -Pizza - Thin crust, crisp and chewy. San Marzano tomato sauce, and from what I understand, house blend-home made cheeses made the Quattro Formaggi and Sausage pizza absolutely delicious. Pasta- Unassuming and at first glance, relatively disappointing, however the spaghetti marinara packed a surprising punch of flavor. It came with a side of garlic bread (pizza dough with garlic, oil, and Parmesan--YUM) -Bagel - Better if toasted--or better yet if freshly pulled from the wood-burning brick oven. Late breakfast meant a not-so-hot bagel, but still delicious and chewy. Do not confuse their bagels with a NY bagel; as the owner who came out to point out--this is a "Montreal Bagel." Of course I had to Google the differences, but the important fact remains that that it was dense, chewy and delicious. -Macaroni and Cheese for adults--during our breakfast the owner had us sample his newest addition to the evening menu. Macaroni and Cheese, adult version. Deliciously cheesy, gooey and flavorful. Topped with bagel chip croutons and toasted with Parmesan, a truly decadent morning tasting. -Salad - Bright dressing, but definitely more of a supporting role than anything that would garner any sort of exceptional praise. Service: 2.5-4stars Service really depended on which member of the staff assisted you and time of day. They were all friendly and proficient, but the busier the dining service, the less you saw of your server. The owner did come out to talk to us and gave us a sampling of what was to come in their future menu. The staff also knew their food, and had their favorites, which made asking for suggestions and ordering that much more efficient. Pros- Cozy ambiance. Good food. Fun to watch the pizza chef make the pizza's. Open late even on Sunday. Cons - Inconsistent service. Overall-I'd definitely visit again.

I love Cafe Galleria. I was just in midway for the weekend. Saw that this place was hoppin' (even on a Sunday in Utah!) and decided to stop by. The pizza was awesome. We got both the Four Cheese and the Goat Cheese with Roasted Peppers. The cheese is great, it's all made at a local factory, and the crust is wonderful as well. Our server was fun and very friendly. It was a beautiful day and the outdoor seating was very enjoyable. We drove by later last night and they had live music playing. Fun! Then of course we had to go by this morning on our way out of town to try these bagels I kept hearing about. I don't normally like bagels.... But these are different. Sooooo good. I just ate mine plain too. A definite must if you're in midway before 1 pm. They make them fresh in their brick oven, and you get them hot. Yummy.

Margarita Pizza was just cheese pizza with a couple of basil leaves thrown on *before* cooking...so not exactly what we were looking for, but it was tasty nonetheless. The hefeweizen they have on the menu is great. Service was great. Outdoor seating was comfortable and quaint. I would definitely return.

Eaten here twice now, and so far have been impressed. It's nice to watch your pizza be cooked and everything has been good.

Just a great place. Breakfast and dinner is amazing. I love all of the salads and the pizza is amazing. Except it to be very busy in the summer, but no so busy in the winter.

We visit this restaurant after a couple of hours of snow tubing at soldier Hollow. We were referred by staff at the tube run. We were not disappointed! When you walk in you are walking into a small house with an amazing brick pizza oven right in front of you. We when walked in they just finished some fresh cinnamon roles and they looked amazing. The service was great. We were greeted immediately and seated and were able to place our drink order right away. I ordered a Margherita pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and it was amazing! The dough was crisp and thin with no sogginess at all. It was also very flavorful. The cheese was fresh and not overly greasy and there was just enough topics to add some wonderful flavors. Although the pizza was huge, there was no leftovers for me! My entire family enjoyed their meals and you can bet we will visit again nests time we come to Park City.

My adult son and I came for a relaxing dinner and we were"nt dissapointed. We sat out side directly in front of the gutaris playing...his music was perfect, not to loud so you couldn;t here the other person speack but not to low even. Beautifu;l soft voice and easy lisenting selcetions. The pizza qaw wonderful of course as we as the Ceasor salad. Waitress was very attentive and saw to our needs, We didn't have to chase her down fo rmore water or for the check. Next I come back I want to try that delicious milkshake that went past our table. I was too full to ask for desert. but next for sure! Grea for locals and tuorits alike, All are welcomed witj smiles and in a very realaxed atmospher. Thanksk all Dana

Do not go here. I rarely leave a bad review, but this was the worst. We were in Midway for a work conference and looking for something to eat. It was way busy. Walked in and they said to go find a seat and someone would be right there. We found nothing so we were standing by a table that needed to be cleaned. The waitress took away the plates then we stood there waiting for about 10 minutes with multiple servers walking by for them to change out the brown paper on the table. We ordered and waited 40 (not kidding) minutes for our garlic cheese bread appetizer that was a 6 inch piece of flatbread with some dry cheese melted on it that cost $5-$6. We asked if we could have our salad and she said that it comes with the pizza because of the presentation. Another 30 minutes later we received a dry flatbread pizza with weeds in the middle. The waitress dropped half of one of the pizzas when serving them to us. NOT ONCE DID SHE OFFER TO COMP ANYTHING OR ANY APOLOGIES FOR THE HORRIBLE SERVICE. My friend went in to talk to the manager about getting her pizza replaced. The waitress yelled for her and she yells back "WHAT". My friend tried to explain what had happened and all she kept saying to her in a not so nice voice was. What do you need. She didn't care at all what had happened. Seriously this is a long review and there is more to say, but you get the picture. All said and done, we were there for 2 1/2 hrs and each paid $18.00 for a drink, horrible pizza and some weeds. The live entertainment was the only thing that was wonderful. He got the tip that night.

This was a real nice surprise! Wonderful, wood-fired bagels for breakfast. Sat at the counter and watched as they were freshly hand-made. Dinner: Fresh spaghetti & meatballs; dense "meaty" balls, absent the breading so common in restaurants. Super-friendly servers (wearing name tags!...no need for the "Hello, my name is..." tedium!) $6.50 corkage fee made bringing our own bottle of Rhone a terrific bargain. Almost hate to recommend for fear of "discovery." Ah well, it's worth it!

Best pizza in the state! I truly love this place. Fun clientele and great outdoor patio... And if you are here early enough, grab a wood-fired bagel.

Service was awful. Waited 10 minutes at table before we were acknowledged Two of our dinners came to our table 12 minutes after the other couples dinner. It is the holiday season and I understand that restaurants are busy now, but it's no excuse for poor planning and service. The spaghetti was boring.

I don't know how to say this. I really don't. This place was like a combination of "Meh," "Never again in my life," and "Wait, people work here?" Instead of going course by course, I'll go from the possibly tolerable to the terrible. In an effort to carbo-load for race, we got pasta. Maybe that was our first mistake. I hear good things about their pizza, and if I'm ever willing to get burned again, I'll go back and try just the pizza (but it will be with much lower expectations, and I seriously doubt even their pizza will be 5 star worthy. Nothing about this place is worth 5 stars. 4 is being overly generous). So whatever, we get the spaghetti, and it was just 'whatever.' The tomato sauce was very watery, not much flavor, and different amounts on each of our plates. I had more than enough, and my friend had way too little. It almost definitely came out of a can. The pasta was pasta. Nothing special, not home made. But then we have to pay an extra two dollars for meatballs on my friend's and chicken on mine. My chicken was cold and completely unseasoned. His meatballs were straight seasoning, and poorly blended spices at that. All in all, the main course was 'meh.' The garlic bread that came with it (we only got one serving when we were supposed to receive two, but I honestly didn't care that much about it. My friend like it more than I did) was good. It was garlic and butter on a pizza crust. More 'meh.' Let's take a step down to "ew," and talk about the salad. Portion size was ridiculous. Maybe a handful of iceberg lettuce and a few tomato slices. The true worry was the salad dressing, which I swear was neon yellow. I don't know how they managed it. It tasted fine, but with that color I was too afraid to eat it. But for the true star of the evening, and something I wish I had gotten a picture of, was the bruschetta. Pretty hard to mess up bruschetta, you would think, right? Well, this place managed it. It was two pieces of what I am positive was a leftover bagel (I think they make their own bread-stuffs there?) that wasn't toasted, so that sucked right there. But then on one piece (just one, mind you) was this peculiar mountain of diced tomatoes. Why? Who knows. Did it have basil, at least? No. Anything on it besides tomatoes? No. Stop asking stupid questions. Clearly bruschetta is a bunch of tomatoes on an old bagel. This place is legit! But now you're asking about the other past-due bagel. If only one had tomatoes, what did the other one have? Well, see now, here is where it would receive a negative 5 stars if it were possible. I have no idea what was on the other one. Various ideas were thrown around between us, but we still can't decide. It looked like literal feces. I want to say it was olives, but they had no flavor and had the texture of mushrooms. My friend maintains they were rinsed canned mushrooms, which is a distinct possibility. Whatever they were, they were disgusting. And it begs the question as to what they were even doing on an appetizer labeled as "bruschetta." I think this has been the worst thing that I have eaten, to date. And that's saying something. What really put this place into the one-star category was the service. I was willing to give two, but the complete lack of service and terrible quality of the little service I did receive. I'm pretty sure our server was an extra kitchen helper and was no real help in the dining area. I realize I have already written a novel, and that many probably won't agree with me, but there it is. One star. And I would give it less if I could.

If you're looking for stuffed crust, gigantic, topping-laden pizzas, then this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for "authentic" (I use that word with caution), Italian-style pizza hidden away in Midway, you've found the right place. Service was mediocre (the server interrupted our conversation to take our order, and asked us if we wanted "Cholula sauce--mexican hot sauce" for our pizza. Bizarre). We stopped by for lunch and ordered their reasonably-priced house salad and 6" margherita pizza for around $7. The salad was basic and simple (read: boring), but the pizza was absolutely fantastic. I love the sauce they use on the pizza. The next time I'm in Midway, I'm definitely stopping by again.

Great place in Midway. However, order the pizza special and prepare to be amazed by the size of the salad...not! Apparently the owner is very thrifty when it comes to food portions. Other than early morning coffee and skimpy portions hit Tarahumara for Mexican food if they're open:)

Delicious pizza in the middle of Utah? Yeah I was surprised by Café Galleria as well. My chef friend took me there for dinner on during my visit and I was shocked by how good the pizza is. It isn't Utah good it is stand against most pizza good. They had fantastic salads, glasses of wine (and alcohol free wine), and homemade gelato. If I lived here it would be my go to spot.

Real pizza comes to Heber Valley !!! HURRAY !!! wood fired oven, real pizza crust, fresh basil leaves on pizza that isn't smothered in sauce and cheese. Nice and light, full of natural flavors. This is as good as it comes.

After moving from the East Coast to the high altitude of Colorado, I didn't think it was possibly to have any bread product that rivaled back home (esp bagels or pizza). And then I was visiting Utah to ski (OK, not a fourteener, but they're at 6,500) and found the best bagels ever. Now Denver has nothing to blame their bad bagels on. The owner told me they boil the bagels and then put them in the wood fire pizza oven. Awesome! The toppings were fresh, and they had a lot of different types (not just your typical bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich). It's one of the few places in the area that is open for breakfast - I highly recommend!

Best wood fire pizza. If you're expecting some greasy, cheese-filled, meat-lovers pizza, go pay $5 for Little Ceasers. Those who understand the delicacy of real pizza, try this place! I can't compare it to Italy since I've never been there but I love this place. Good sauce. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside crust. Local mozzarella cheese. Service is not great but it's worth it to go for the food. I always get the Margharita pizza and ask for extra fresh basils.

Best pizza in Utah. This place just gets better with each visit. I spoke to the owner about some of his secrets for an awesome pizza. I found out they make their own Mozzarella, and it's laden with flavor and less moist then what you typically buy in the store. It ensures the dough stays crusty and it binds the flavor with all the other ingredients perfectly. He promised to tell me another secret on my next visit. Personally, I think it's the love that goes into each pizza. So they also make their own bagels in the morning. Can't wait to try those too.

this is Midway, UT good. a little wood fired oven, so kinda gourmet style, but somehow the altitude changes the cooking of the dough. tomato sauce just ok. we tried six different ones. pesto chicken with arugula was popular.

This is not the fast food pizza that has become common with the franchises. Excellent pizza, and terrific salads, everything has taste you should expect from meals made the old fashioned way.

The pizza here is extremely good. The pizza dough they use combined with the pizza oven they use makes for a very tasty crust. Midway is such a quaint town, Cafe Galleria is a perfect fit.

This was a let down of the highest degree. My family was visiting Midway and were staying in a nearby hotel. We were in the mood for pizza and decided to give this place a shot based on the other ratings from this site. Hands Down: This is the worst pizza I've ever had. Not only that, but you only get a choice of a select few specialty pizzas. I think I'll try a plain cheese pizza. NOPE! Perhaps a tomato, mushroom and olive...NOPE! Ok, what about a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza with...NOPE!!!!! For shame! To evaluate this experience as unsatisfying is an understatement to the highest degree. We bought two large pizzas and ended up eating slightly over two pieces - among the four of us. Terrible vibe. The price was on par with the average pizza parlor, too bad the pizza is terrible. In conclusion, if you are traveling through Midway and are in the mood for some pizza you'd be better off rummaging through local trash cans for some left-over $1.98 Totino's pizza someone bought at the local grocery store and cooked up the night before.

We came out here for three months and this month marks our two year anniversary of living here. We are so glad that Cafe Galleria is nearby. We just tried it this past weekend. Husband had a pizza with some Italian sausage (normal profile) and I tried the mushroom pizza. Crust was great, as was sauce and the service was excellent. We will definitely tell our friends and come back soon. Oh, we ordered some bagels for takeout and froze them and they're very good, too. Locals love new and good restaurants! You're way up there. My husband and I were celebrating his birthday and heard of this place from some locals who love it. It was absolutely fabulous. A quaint pizzeria settled into an old pioneer-style home and with a friendly staff and quick service. It's not fast food style and our server was helpful and kind. Not to mention the food was FABULOUS. We were pleasantly surprised by the different flavors in the pizzas and their willingness to make the type of pizza we wanted. Also, as far as price is concerned, we shared a large pizza for $10. What a steal. If you're in Midway, stop at the Cafe Galleria - it's cozy, cheap, and good food.

If you like authentic italian pizza..this is not it....Yes it is wood fired but that is where the resemblance ends...The pizza just needs to be tweeked a little to gain the flavor of pizza from Italy...The sauce needs more flavor, not like Domino's, but just enough that you realize there is some tomato sauce on it...The service was great but that is not going to convince me to recommend this place to anyone...

Great pizza in Midway. I have eaten here many times. Good salads. I am from an Italian family from the East coast.. this is the real deal. If you want Canadian bacon and pineapple on a pizza go to Pizza Hut. This place is excellent!
