My boyfriend had the Southwest style biscuits & gravy, said it's the best breakfast he's had in 5 years!

Great breakfast, honest and friendly service, nice small town feel. I was driving through Marysvale on a Sunday morning with family, and we were really looking for a different local restaurant, but ended up here, a bit desperate for food. We thought we were settling, but it turned out that this was pretty dang good food! When we walked in, the woman working the front immediately told us that we were going to be waiting for a while, because there was a big party in front of us. There was one guy in the back making the food, hence the wait. It's good that we arrived when we did, because the next few parties to arrive were all told the same thing, but had to wait even longer. The woman was very nice to us and responded well to all of our requests. She even gave my nephews some exasperated responses as they ordered hot chocolate while she was sweating up a storm running around. I ordered the sausage and eggs breakfast. It came with 2 eggs, a huge sausage patty, hash browns, and some toast. I proceeded to make a sandwich with the eggs, sausage, and toast, and it was delicious. The yolks were perfect--they immediately ran everywhere when I bit into the sandwich. The hash browns were nice and crispy without being greasy. The sausage patty was really good. The bacon looked pretty solid as well, along with the pancakes I saw coming out to another table. Even the hot chocolate that my nephews got looked pretty decent and came in some pretty cool mugs. I'll definitely come back through here the next time I'm in Marysvale. This is one of those local places I'd love to frequent if I were close by it.

After numerous visits to the diner I decided they really deserve 5 stars. I only give five stars to places that have something exceptional going for them. Rick and Donna not only serve great food they genuinely care about the town, the people who visit the area, and even their competitors. It's not always about food and service . Sometimes a place is more than the sum if it's parts and the Diner has become the gathering place in Marysvale. If you want true local flavor and food this is the place.

What a great place to eat. It doesn't matter what you get, it's always perfection on a plate. Rick and Donna have a wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere, wonderful service, generous portions, and great prices. A great couple with a great selection. It's a true family diner and the only place in Marysvale to get a home cooked meal you can brag about. Don't waste your time prospecting, go straight to the gold at the Marysvale Diner!!!!!

Great food, wonderful people. Worth the stop if you are in the area. We had breakfast and it was phenomenal! Hash browns were crispy, eggs were perfect. Friendliest people in town!

After stopping in St. George and having a ham and cheese omelet, the worst I have ever eaten!, I couldn't wait to get back to the diner and have Rick's omelet. He makes it perfect, just enough ham and plenty of cheese. The hash browns are always cooked to perfection. When in Marysvale, you need to stop and have a meal with Rick and Donna!

Rick and Donna used to run the Prospector Cafe. They have many if the same items here but with many new items on the menu! They treat you like family and food is awesome. Pancakes are a real treat and omelets are really good! I like the pastrami Burger as well as the Tuscan Chicken sandwich. I've never had a bad thing here! Prices are fair and portions are ample. I wouldn't normally give a venue like this as 5 star but you have to rate on context. For the venue style this is, it's top notch so I rate it 5 stars, not to be confused with a 5 star AAA rating. You won't go wrong here!

I love their chicken fried steak. Rick and Donna take good care of you. They own and run the cafe. I have been to Marysvale several times and always seem to come back here to eat. Great food for a good price.

Very small old style diner from yesteryear in a very small town. Don't blink or you'll miss it! We pulled off the interstate and went 15 miles out of our way because of the good reviews! One of the best traditional breakfast places I've eaten at. Very inexpensive for the amount of food I might add. Our server gave our compliments to the cook..I would say...the two are probably the owners. By his response you can tell he definitely takes pride in his work! If you've got time to swing a bit off of I-70...stop there.

We stopped here during a shift in the weather on an epic NP road trip. Food was one of the best home cooked style meals we have ever had. Owners were so welcoming and kind that it was hard to get back on the road. Bathrooms spotless and kid friendly location. Really enjoyed this find and taste of Americana. We will be back!

The food was absolutely amazing! I had the garlic burger and fries, my husband had the double begin cheeseburger. I am finicky when it comes to burgers, but these are phenomenal... Small town welcome and a big meal. My husband drives truck and we were hungry, they had a spot for a truck. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommended.

Love this place, our family eats here regularly. I love their breakfast bacon and for lunch I always get the pulled pork without the bun. Rick, the cook, takes good care of us, he understands the whole gluten free thing. Best of all they treat everyone like family.

This a great place to "chat and chew"! Friendly atmosphere, great food and plenty of room so you don't feel like you have to hurry. I love the biscuits and gravy; the gravy is honest to goodness country gravy with sausage and the biscuits melt in your mouth! The lunch fare is just as tantalizing. Everything from good old fashioned burgers to shrimp or chicken baskets. The owners are down to earth and make you feel glad you came in. Stop in next time you're visiting Marysvale or just cruising down historic Hwy 89.
