Best organic gourmet Mexican food!! The queso fundido is a delicious appetizer you must try!! My favorite main dishes are; pollo chicken burrito, sweet potato tacos, hanger tacos, pollo chicken taco and the chili releno. The plantain desert is yummy as well!!

Tried Masa for the first time and I was impressed. I always like getting modern, organic restaurants like this in Utah because it's refreshing and unexpected here being that Utah is overrun with heavy meat and burger places. Other reviews mentioned portion sizes being too small but I thought it was just right. Some people may want to order a side dish with their main to fill them up. Restaurants typically over do it anyway and it can be off-putting. I'd say knowing it's organic and homemade, paying more should be expected. The only weird thing was that our dishes came out one by one. We had to wait about 5-10 minutes between each dish for the 4 of us. So each person sat and waited until the final person got their dish. Odd...they should definitely straighten that out. Also other reviews mentioned them using Costco chips...if that's true that's terrible. I will order chips and salsa the next time to check it out.

Today I went with my family to eat at the MASA restaurant in Lindon , we always eat all organic and we were here because they have a sign outside that says ORGANIC,after eating I asked the waitress where they get the corn flour for the tortillas and she told me they buy Maseca flour. Seriously!!! This place is a pure lie,I didn't dare to ask what oil they used to cook they make corn tortillas with Maseca flour and Maseca is not organic, is made with the worst CORN. GMO CORN is number one in AMERICA to cause cancer, and also the flour tortillas is not organic either, I pay more to eat better and healthy and these idiots lie with their products, I no longer trust any restaurant that says organic, how the hell they give me a beef taco and tell me that is organic? thank you very much for poisoning my kids with your crappy and disgusting food, if you eat organic don't eat here they are damn liars,It's not healthy as they say and they just steal your money, who knows maybe nothing is organic, ,I should complain to the service consumer of utah. Ooooh and I almost forgot the chips are Kirkland chips from Costco lol Go to this wedsite and educate yourself more about GMO CORN foodintegritynow.org/201…

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and the decor is awesome. We were greeted as we came in and brought to a table is the small but comfortable dining area. The waitress was very friendly and was knowledgeable about the menu. The menu is limited but it is clear that they are focusing on quality of what they have over unneeded additional items. I had the shrimp tacos and my fiancé had the chicken tacos. Masa's thing is that they claim to have fresh delicious food and do they ever. The toppings on the tacos were delicious and fresh and the meat was amazing. The shrimp while obviously shipped in tasted like I was eating in Puerto Peñasco and not Lindon UT. While I would normally want a Corona or Dos Equis with this kind of food, sadly they do not serve beer or wine. They do however have a excellent selection of sodas from Mexico including one of my favorites Sangria Señoral and of course Mexican Coke. If you have never had Sangria Señoral I highly recommend it. It's a lightly flavored grape soda that tastes nothing like what you expect when you hear the words grape soda. All in all a delicious meal well worth a visit. One additional note, $12 may seem like a lot of cash to spend for two tacos. It isn't.

The scene was an extended family dinner on a Friday night. So many different pallets, some much harder to please than others. Bottom line at Masa: something for everyone, and we all left happy! It's tiny inside there, but they accommodated our large party like champs. We wanted for nothing, and were taken care of primarily by Carly who was delightful as she could be. Beautiful girl, inside and out. It's difficult to decide which aspect of Masa is the true shining star - the food or the service. Both were exceptional. We did the chips and salsa for the whole party. Delicious tomatillo salsa, not the norm but really light and enjoyable. Great chips, too; just the right crispiness without too much salt or grease. Somehow all were immediately devoured, and refilled without missing a beat. All but two of us ordered tacos - carnitas, chicken, avocado, shrimp, and their newly added taco, the sweet potato. Everything is organic, even locally sourced where possible. They had no problem with substitutions and our freaky requests. The odd people out ordered the quesadilla and the chili relleno, both of which were reportedly wonderful. Fresh, lovely, thoughtful food is found here. We will be finding lots more of it in the future. Thank you for a lovely evening, Masa.

    * I updated my rating to 1 star after the owner sent me a message calling em an F'ing Idiot.. So yea. I would avoid this place... I have a very strong opinion about trendy Utah county restaurants... This restaurant fits into this unfortunate category. More Hype then Flavor. They push the whole organic food type agenda. I think that is a great thing if you can make the food taste good.. First off.. They charge 2.00 for a bowl of chips and salsa. The chips were very familiar to me... They are Costco chips. They dump some Costco chips into a bowl and charge you 2 bucks... Not cool guys. The salsa was very bland.. In my eyes they lose total credibility if they can't even get the chips and salsa right.. The food came out very uneven to our group. My grandma waited 10 minutes after the first dish to get her food. We were basically done when she started. I got the Beef and Carnitas tacos. The Carnitas was pretty good, and the corn tortillas were great. Use some of those and make some chips guys! The beef taco was interesting with green apple sliced up in it. I liked it, but I would have preferred more meat then apples. We had a few desserts.. The plantains were pretty tasty and the flan was meh. There is an almost identical restaurant a few miles north of this establishment. They tout organic as well and I think they do a much better job. Not planning on returning.

I loved the food here! My fav was the sweet potato taco, but I loved the avocado one as well and enjoyed the bite of the hangry and one other one my hubby ordered. The fruit bowl was full of ripe fruit along with the sweetest mangoes... yum!! I don't know why peeps are complaining about the tomatillo salsa.. its the perfect compliment to the tacos. We also tried the cheese dip with plantains... oh my it was delish!! I am so glad to have this organic taco bar in my hood and will be going often!!

I have been here several times. It's a favorite of mine. Took my favorite man here for his first time. Heavenly. The food is the best every time!!

So it took me a while to get in here because I have a picky spouse who had no intention of trying this, but we are so glad we did. I must report that it was a successful outing for both of us. He loved the hangar tacos and I absolutely loved the avocado tacos--there was sooo much flavor in both!! The drinks are amazing too. Haven't tried any appetizers or desserts yet but plan to next time. The service was quick, servers and owner were really nice. Definitely recommend this place. A great place for a date night or girls/guys night.

Came on a Saturday night around 5:45. Seated right away. We dealt with 2 staff members and the owner and everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. There was live music, a young 14 year old and her Dad who both had amazing voices. Small and intimate. The owner greeted us and gave us the run down on the menu. We had been to Oteo which is extremely similar to this place except when given the two options we would absolutely return to Massa over Oteo. My reasons are as follows 1. Masa has better ambiance and live music on Saturday nights (most Saturday's). 2. We got in and out of Masa in about 35-40 minutes while Oteo took well over an hour and a half, even considering Masa was more crowded. 3. Similar quality and taste of food in my opinion but my husband preferred Masa. After eating at Oteo he said he didn't care to go back, after eating at Masa he said he liked it a lot and would go back. He lived in Mexico for some time and had some food at Masa that gave him good memories of Mexico (Elote). All in all we enjoyed the variety. I don't know what kind of chips they were and I don't care if they were store bought or not, they were good. The rest of the food is clearly organic and you can taste it. We had a lot of food and tried a lot of things all for about 35 bucks. Not too pricey for me and my husband to eat a good organic meal. We started with chips and green salsa and Elote. My husband had 3 hanger tacos and I had a pollo and an avocado taco. The owner had an extra fruit salad that he offered to us for free and boy was it amazing. We were well taken care of here and we will be returning. *Another Yelper that left a review mentioned that he didn't see any option other than to tip 20% and I can tell you that is absolutely inaccurate. You could select 10, 15, 20, 25, or "other". It was very simple and straight forward.

Great food, great intimate atmosphere with the friendliest service there is, seriously. My husband and I went to Masa tonight and lucked out with live music on Saturdays and we were really impressed with the menu! You can taste the freshness of the free range meat and organic produce! We got their house Mango Pineapple Mint drink which is incredible! The Granny salad was great too but the Hanger Steaks were the main event, amazing :) The plantains for dessert were perfect! All in all great for ANY occasion! We will come again!

  • Jessica F.

The food here is incredible. It's fresh, organic, and delicious. The plating is very attractive as well. The portions are much smaller than a regular Mexican restaurant, but I like that so I don't have the temptation to overeat. I really recommend the shrimp tacos. They are amazing. The service is very nice but can be a little slow at times, but the quality of food definitely makes up for it. The place is small, so when it gets busy it gets very crowded. Definitely check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

This place was so awesome, when driving up it was a little weird to see a garage turned into a restaurant. Food was so delicious, so much flavor, the presentation was beautiful. Service was so spot on, always taken care of. Check out the pictures of the food. I ordered too much and had a nice leftover meal the following day. My only complaint about this place was the live music, it was so loud I couldn't hear my buddy speak. Little weird to have live music in such a small place with only a few tables. When in the area I will definitely return.

Mediocre food at a steep price. Their chips and salsa are awful. The food came out very uneven. I won't be coming back this way.

This establishment reaches for the stars and lands in Newark, New Jersey. The food is made with am array of fancy ingredients which ultimately fall flat because the food taste bland and boring. I honstly think salt is banned from the kitchen. Edit: changed to one star because the more I thought about, the more the pretension of this restaurant bothered me. I thunk the fancy-ness of the ingredients is hoodwinking people into thinking the food is much better than it is.

    (1)
  • Hannah P.

Santito's chips really?! It was so disappointing. My tacos were completely covered in oil and the queso fondido ending up being bowl of oil with bananas in it. Pretty disappointing for a dish that supposedly "Won awards all over the nation". And my Mexican coke was warm, just like the store, they must not have AC.

    (1)
  • Gregory R.

I would give it 3 based on the actual food but the price of the food along with the price of the food makes it a 2. It's like the ideas and the technique to create good food is there but doesn't get there. Good ideas but so so flavor. Then the price for the size of portions are out of line. In other words, don't go there if you're hungry.

Wow! Our first time here and we were so skeptical but it was amazing! Food was great, service was good, and live music - what's not to like? We are going back for sure! Not overly expensive.

  • Darin T.

Fun, friendly and attentive staff. Extremely creative and tantalizing menu. Although the food was pricey you definitely get what you pay for-- fresh ingredients, innovative recipes and amazing flavor combinations you just don't find anywhere else. The salsa was sooo addictingly good but really? They served Santitas chips! What kinda restaurant serves the cheap $1.88 store bought chips? I prefer homemade tortilla chips served warm. This was minor, however, in comparison to how everything else tasted. Highlights: the salsa, the mexican corn, the granny apple salad, hanger steak, pollo and avocado tacos.

You'd be hard pressed to find a bigger fan of Masa than me. I went there earlier this week and the experience has changed so drastically. You can't have a restaurant like this be successful without the passion of the Oteo family. Mosi and his dad make this place special, it can't be duplicated without their touch. Truly, the food was not as good as it used to be and the experience has been cheapened. This is my go to restaurant, but I don't see myself going there anymore with this recent decline. Go to Oteo across the street for a genuine experience with the actual people that created the menu.

Not your typical Mexican restaurant. Not only are the ingredients organic, they also offer a very unique menu. I came at the end of lunch rush hour and my service was amazing and my food delicious and fresh. I ordered the avocado taco and added shrimp. It was amazing!

Came in here with my friends, it was a very nice environment. Great customer service from everyone, all the adults and kids there were really nice. Liked the live music too. The food is not a large quantity but the quality is great.

My boyfriend and I went here and we loved it. I got the chile relieno and he got the nachos. It was so tasty. The chile was cooked just right and that cheese, so excellent. I would definitely go there again and again. We also got a complementary dessert, it was the plantains. The flavored were so unique and fresh. I love masa!

  • Casey W.

Don't get me wrong the food is fantastic and fresh but it takes forever for them to get your food out to you. They have one chef making the food and another chef doing...something? We waited for over an hour and never got our food. And in the time we waited we were checked on once. We have been here several times and service is always about the same. Just save your self some time and go get real food at Oteo across the street.

This place was outstanding! There was no menu printed yet and frankly I hope it stays that way! The menu is small enough that it is easy to understand what you get, but when you actually get the food it exceeds your expectations! We had the steak taco, vegetable (avocado) taco, pork sopa and plantain dish. The sopa was delicious. The soft tortilla bread had a perfect flavor that paired well with the pork and salsa rojo that was a mass of flavors that each showed through in a wonderful way. The steak taco was different and amazing. The taco included small apple julienned with pepper and a green sauce that is delicious. I'm not going to spoil the avocado taco but you have to have it. I recommend rounding up the meal with the plantain. I don't want to spoil that for you either. What a great restaurant and atmosphere. We loved it and will be back again. I recommend to all taco lovers!

This place is incredible, I have been here 5 times in the last week! There is literally nothing on the menu that is not good. You will not be disapointed. Price & Value: May seem a little pricey but $10.50 for two gourmet tacos can not be beat. There is true a artisanship to this food. Comes with a side dish, chips and salsa to boot. Serena (the owner) understands the value minded Utah valley customers, and has came up with some killer side dishes to go with your tacos. I have noticed a change in some of the faces around the resteraunt, however I will assure you the food is as good as it has always been.

  • Steve C.

Wow! That is the best word to describe this little place. The flavor profiles are solid. The steak taco was flavorful. The avocado taco was the best taco I've had in years. You've got to try the fruita and the plantain. This is a place that is worth the drive if you don't live in the area. All the good tastes fresh and flavorful. You won't be disappointed.

Loved this place, what a different twist and unique way to prepare good healthy Mexican food. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, five stars all the way.

This was my second visit to Masa and I was only slightly disappointed. I knew that I was to expect micro portions because of a previous visit. The flavors packed in their tiny tacos are delicious, but missing an authenticity to them. For the prices that you will pay Red Iguana or Maria Bonitas is tastier more authentic choice.

My first tortilla bar, so hard to judge in comparison. The avocado taco was incredible though. Friendly staff and quick service. Really small portions - I could have probably eaten 4 or 5 to be satisfied for dinner.

REVISED DUE TO OWNER FEEDBACK Upgrade to 2 stars (had better) is still harsh, but more accurate. Customer service=4 star (Yeah, Im a fan!). Lets get going before tonight's Ambien kicks in: This place has great reviews. Everyone raves about it. The caveat is usually that it's just a little over priced. OK, I can handle that. So we pull up, zero parking. Thats fine. It's Saturday night. I park on the street and trudge through the snow. Get inside. Wow, it's tiny. That's fine. In my experience eating all over the United States, the smallest holes in the wall are usually the best. We got greeted rather promptly and scored a 3 table spread for our party of 4 adults and 3 kids. A major win considering how small the place was. Service was good, got us waters and chips and salsa (not free) while we waited for the rest of our party. All good so far. While we were eating our good chips, I saw them serving them in the back...Kirkland chips from Costco. Hmm. Good chips, but that seems less than five star. At least don't show me the Costco bag. Ordering. The owner or manager was super friendly and greeted us kindly when our full party was present and gave us a comprehensive run down of all the menu items that we might be interested in and answered all our questions. Awesome. We ordered the two taco plate with hanger steak and one with chicken (which is actually cornish game hens apparently). After a reasonable wait, our food arrived. But only our plate of tacos. Fine no worries. We'll wait for the rest. Another plate came, and then a little while, another plate came. That's annoying. This place is small. Would be best to try and get it out to us all at once. But food arrives, great, we start to eat and realize we'd like another plate. They don't have any though, because they are all in use or being cleaned. Understandable, considering how small this joint is, but still strange. We settled for a bowl. Now for the food. When it arrived, it all looked good. Small for $13ish bucks, but I can cope. The hanger taco was BURIED in julienned granny smith apples. Great idea and excellent flavor combo, but seriously excessive execution. I ate and still enjoyed though. Picked off the raw jalapenos for my wife, but the spice leached in to the apples. Now to our pollo taco. BURIED under and avalanche of cabbage and what I believe was gorgonzola cheese. Pretty aggressive condiment play on both these tacos. Sheesh. But I tasted it and it was delicious. The pollo did get a little lost under the mountain of garnish which was a shame. Now, for the ultimate failure, my personal favorite, the chile relleno stuffed with 3 cheeses. It sounded awesome...but awesome it absolutely was not. It was raw with melted cheese inside. By raw, I mean it tasted like someone had picked it off the vine, filled it with cheese and guesstimated how long it needed to be in the microwave before the cheese inside melted. No more, no less. When that relleno hit my plate, it had enough crunch to pass for a salad. I thought maybe I had missed the memo and organic authenticity called for raw vegetables instead of the deliciously soft grilled or poached vegetables that used to be the mainstay of south american cooking. So I asked the server and was assured with, what is in retrospect now, terrifying confidence, that they are indeed supposed to be hard like that. Ok, I said to myself. this is a fancy joint and this is how they cook it apparently. It's gross and hard to eat, but if you want to look culinarily savvy, you gotta just roll with it. Blarg. So we wrap up. The waitresses are circling our table--remember, they need plates for serving back in the kitchen like a trapped jack in the box needs a crank on his handle to escape. So we pay, it's on an iPad which is fancy and cool, and then we begin to vacate. Don't remember seeing a tip for less than 20% as an option though. Must have to dig deeper in the iPad settings do that up. But all joking aside, the service was great. I ended the night telling the manager or owner (who was still very kind) about my disastrously raw and crunchy chile relleno and he said that wasn't right it should be soft. He invited us back again and said he would pay for my next meal so I could experience it right. He didn't get my name, number, email address, pants size or inseam, so I hope next time I stroll in there and start ranting about by free, properly cooked chile relleno, they know who I am and promptly pull out a chair at their finest table instead of calling the police. Jimmy? Jimmy was that you that made me that seemingly authentic offer? I was the fat bearded guy, not the skinny bearded guy sitting next to me. But you could give him a free meal too because he wasn't terribly impressed

This place is very unique and delicious! The tacos are not your average tacos at all, but extremely tasty! The atmosphere is laid back and fun. Great service and live music at night. Great place for a date night.

Excellent food and presentation. The shrimp empanada was delicious and served with a salad of cabbage, radish, jalapeños and a lime dressing. Soooo good. We had three different dishes and each one was excellent. Fresh ingredients and Mexican style food is a great combination. Very friendly service and nice decor. I will say that the chips and salsa do not seem on par with the rest of the food.

These tacos are amazing! So good, if fact, that we went here two nights in a row! The space is small, and when we first showed up we were skeptical of the menu options, but the two taco dish, while seeming small, is jam-packed with flavor, very satisfying, and comes with a side of rice that I'm dying to know how to make because I would eat it all. the. time. if I could. Love this place. Their agua fresca is delightful--to quote my friend "it tastes like a beach vacation" And the manager made sure to come thank us for coming and invited us back. Will come again.

We tried this place for lunch today. The service was good and the interior is cute and welcoming. The menu is limited and it seemed a bit contrived, trying kinda hard to be the hip organic Mexican place--lotsa goat cheese, apples, and other things you wouldn't normally expect in Mexican food. We ordered the not-complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were your typical from-a-bag chip, and we were divided about the salsa. My husband thought it was fine, but I was disappointed in how VERY bland it was. I know Utah people aren't typically into spice, but how about flavor? We both got tacos and those were very good. The hangar steak was nicely marinated, if cut a bit thick. I thought the big pile of julienned apples on top was just distracting, but I appreciated the fresh jalapeno slices. The shrimp taco was tasty, with nicely grilled shrimp, cabbage and a red sauce with some spice in it. The brown rice was, again, VERY bland. Like no salt or anything! Beans were not an option. So overall this place was good but it could benefit from upping the flavor in the salsa and the rice. I'd go back, but I'm not in a rush to try it again.

Well, I hate to be the nonconformist reviewer--but I'm just not agreeing with the unending raves. I agree the food is good, but they are just elaborate a la carte 'street tacos' (for $10/each). My advice: eat something before you go, and you'll probably be happy when you leave. In fact, if you're accustomed to eating chips and salsa when you eat Mexican (is this Mexican?)--eat chips and salsa before you go. I'm honest enough to admit I was probably just a bit bothered with the fictive and wannabe haute ambiance (and menu) and being uninformed by the 'server' that I would be paying another $2.50 for a soda refill--but none of it adds up to a gushing review.

If you are looking for a gourmet "taco" experience in Utah Valley this is the place for you. You'll get small portions of fancy food, served on tortillas, for a slightly too much money. We ordered the Carnitas Taco, Hanger "Steak" Taco, Avocado Taco, and a fruit salad. The fruit salad was an good combination of flavors, with lime juice and chili powder on top. My favorite of the tacos was the avocado - for the simplicity of flavor, followed by the steak - which was tough, then the carnitas - which was fatty, but had interesting bits of crunchy pork rinds. The tacos were all served with a generous helping of onions, which I don't mind, but the folks I was with have an aversion to. It would have been nice to have more detail on the menu so we could have ordered without, rather than pick out.. There weren't many customers, so we were hovered over and watched while we ate, which was aggravating. The bill was a bit steep, and we left hungry and unsatisfied. For tasty, non traditional tacos I would recommend Taqueria 27 in Salt Lake over this place.

  • Dascia E.

This place started amazing and now it is so sad. The chefs have been changed so much and that has caused the food to be poorly seasoned and sometimes the tacos come out mushy and cold. I have never liked the service at masa because they have very young kids that don't know what they are doing. The servers are just NOT good, they just don't care about you and don't know the menu. For example, one time I ordered the melted cheese as an appetizer and they forgot to bring it and they decided to bring the cold hardened cheese when we were all done eating all our food (hello!!! What was this kid thinking, we didn't eat it and got charged for it). I kept going because I loved the food so much but now that the food is not good there is no point in recommending this place. Very disappointing.

  • Jessica G.

Atmosphere of this place is fantastic. And the food was presented beautifully. However, if you're going to charge $12 for 2 tiny tacos, they have to be perfect. They were pretty good, but none of the flavors were perfect (one was too salty, one a bit bland etc). To be honest, I think they've got better flavors going at 180 Tacos (though the ingredients aren't quite as high quality there, they are not really far off... and their tacos cost $2 each) This place either needs to add some fillers (think jazzed up beans and rice served with the tacos) or up their flavor quality before I feel like it'd be worth $12 to go back.

Incredible food. Super clean, artistically plated, fresh and full of flavor! They served us some surprise dishes and every one of them was delicious! MASA has already become my favorite restaurant in Lindon with just 2 meals! We'll be back often!

Soggy nachos, Costco chips, Costco salsa, queso not special... Masa is over priced and not special. Blonde server girl picked up a cloth napkin from the floor, laid it on the serving station, then used it to serve food... Gross

  • Daniel J.

I try to support local places like this, and often don't mind paying the premium. But for the price, Masa didn't deliver. Service was slow, seemed like there was one server and one chef for the entire place. Food was decent, but kind of bland. And the nachos had me running to el bano minutes after I finished... I hope they can turn the place around.

Maddeningly delicious... If the wife didn't drag me out of there I would have kept eating and eating! It's not on the menu but get the avocado hanger! It's the avocado and steak taco mixed.. Been back two days in a row and I plan on this being the usual date night spot!

This place used to be great, but the Oteo family split with the current owners and the quality of the food has gone down tremendously since they left. I think that they are skimping on the quality of their ingredients. Now they serve chips and salsa for crying out loud! Not a high-end flavor anymore. You can find the old good food across the street at the new restaurant Oteo's.

I went with a friend and the table next to ours were friends of the owner. It was very obvious there was a different caliber of service for friends/family. The wrong food was delivered to our table, the food we did receive was cold and we were charged for items we didn't order or eat. It was disappointing.

Chicken Tacos are to die for. The service is great too. The owner was very attentive and explained everything in details for us first-timers. Very small seating area, but a nice atmosphere.

I really love this place. The chef does a great job and the food is actually some of the freshest and highest quality I've had. I eat out every meal it seems and I find Masa restaurant to be a great place to sit down and have organic and healthy options. Get the plantain desert. Incredible. Chicken tacos for lunch and their house omelet with steak and avocados are incredible for breakfast. Don't try and compare this place to a fast food Mexican place. Worth every penny for the upgrade in food and service. They are fresh and unique. Everything is from scratch. Love it.

Hand down amazing. Not much to say here because it was great all the way around. Love this place.

If you haven't tried breakfast here you are missing out. Had Chilaquiles and a pork carnitas burrito that both my husband I shared. Both were excellent. And the side of breakfast potatoes with rosemary was heavenly.

Plantains to start off the meal is the way to go, followed by the fruta. The hanger steaks are my favorite. The carnitas can be amazing, but seem to be a hit or miss. This place is worth a try, it's more pricey than other taco places, but you will not get the same flavors anywhere else. Be prepared to spend around $50 to $60 per couple if you want to leave full. $30-$40 will get you by, but you'll be desiring more.

The quality of food has seriously declined. What was once a scratch kitchen has now shifted towards a McDonalds heat and serve approach. I used to go twice a week and now can't even recommend it to friends. The original chef has moved to another restaurant and taken the quality with him.

This place was unreal. We got every taco on the menu, as well as the seviche, the fruit salad and the plantain dish (which is a must-have). They were all amazing. Not only that, but the customer service was out of this world, we got a free dish because he wanted us to try it, and the table was wobbly to he was folding napkins up to make it stable. Nicest people ever, plus having live music was great too. I'll definitely be going back soon.

Great little place with new and authentic flavors. Really like the atmosphere - sometimes they have live music. The service is also good, but mostly they just have great food with flavors you likely haven't tried before.

I was hoping the experience would be better. I was unimpressed with the service and food. The price for the quality and amount of food given didn't seem to be comparable.

Seeing Masa for the first time, I was definitely hesitant. Honestly I hate anything to do with "health" food. This place blew me away. The servers were fun and outgoing and took care of us effortlessly although the place was packed. The decor was beautiful in a cute home style way. I loved it. However even with all of that I was still very skeptical as I saw the food coming out. Although it looked beautiful, it didn't look as though it would fill me up at all. However I was completely put to shame, because this food was incredible. So filling! So much flavor I forgot everything was completely organic. Not to mention the dessert was to die for. Plantains are a must when going to Masa! Overall great experience. Thoroughly impressed.

I was skeptical about eating at Masa but was pleasantly surprised with my experience overall. First, the atmosphere is so 2014, but not like, stay-at-home-mom 2014. Next, the servers were prompt in getting me settled with a drink, chips, and salsa. The menu is smaller, but they're saving trees (go green! ). Im not your average taco eater, but these tacos did not let me down! Definitely recommend the avocado taco. Lastly, the service was top notch. My server (Evan?) was so sweet. He was so friendly and made sure we had the best experience possible. What a sweet heart. Just so sweet. You can count on me bringing my girlfriends back for lunch!

I went with my husband and another couple. I had the avocado tacos, my friend had the shrimp tacos, and both of our husbands had nachos. The food that you got was very good, but we ordered the quinoa for a side and they came without a side. When we asked we were told that it wasn't available that day because their cook was off that day (?). So then we said we'd like the rice then, since we did want a side which it came with. We each got a thimble sized portion of rice- 2 bites each. But the biggest problem, and the one that would prevent any of us from returning, was that it is a very small space and there were 2 couples and a large group of young children sitting in the middle where a 3 tables had been pushed together. These children were very loud, running all over the place, chasing each other, etc. making it impossible for us to have a conversation or peaceful meal. It seemed to us that the staff (only 2 that we ever saw, both very young) should have asked tbe parents to have their children sit down and lower their voices. At one point the kids and adults were drumming on the tables and yelling and singing. While the food that we got was good, the the side of rice should be more than 2 small bites, and the atmosphere shoukd be controlled to allow for talking. A very expensive night for a Chuckie Cheese atmosphere,I will tell my friends and family to avoid this restaurant.

Overpriced. Masa has good food but my wife and I were still hungry after eating here. You would think that $25 would get you full. Try 180 street tacos. Better flavor, more options, and 1/2 the price.

Family atmosphere and delicious fresh food at a great price. Locally owed, too. Come once and you'll be back.

The food was great. I loved the tacos. But the severs were unorganised and not clear. I would go again for the food.

I've been a couple times now and both times have been amazing. Great service and very unique flavors. I love the empanadas, hanger steak tacos, avocado tacos, and sope.

Masa and Tortilla Bar are two of my loves. The culinary experience of the combination of flavors in the hanger tacos: beautifully marinated steak, julienne cut granny smith apples, jalapeno slivers on corn tortillas is artful, delicious, and an almost sacred experience. Mosi and Sam make a point to remember you, make you feel special. Such amazing food. Such a great experience.

Unique, upscale take on the humble street taco. The location is a cool renovated garage with minimalist decor. Attentive service by people who cared about our experience. Worth a trip.

So amazing. The food, the atmosphere, and the service was incredible. I am serious, I cannot remember a time I've had better service. There was live music too (they were excellent). The perfect date night, but also relaxed enough for families. I'm very impressed and encourage everyone to eat here. We will be back so we can try everything. Nothing short of 5 stars!

Very impressed with both the quality and overall taste of the food. Fresh ingredients, great flavors and they do a wonderful job combining unique flavors and textures with authentic Mexican dishes. This is a must-try restaurant!

I went to Masa solo tonight, I had the avocado taco and added steak. It had goat cheese and beats. That is like my kryptonite. The tortilla had a really weird texture. Not sure if I liked it. I wasn't given any utensils or a napkin. They asked me if I wanted chips and salsa I said no thank you. Two or so minutes later I was given some chips and dip. I assumed that it wasn't an ordered thing it was more of a free appetizer... But at the end they charged me two dollars extra for it. The dip wasn't very flavorful. By that time a man had come to take my order, and 15 or so minutes my waiter brought me a quesadilla because he felt bad I had been waiting so long. The quesadilla was amazing!!!!! When my food arrived a few minutes later I didn't have any utensils again. I asked for more and got my food. Unfortunately I had to ask for my check four separate times before someone finally provided me with an iPad and a square for my credit card and an option for either 20% 23% or 25% gratuity. It got a little pricey for Orem area but I guess maybe not too pricey for organic. **There was live music playing, that was a nice touch.**

This place is hard to beat. The food is amazing, and you can tell that everything is as fresh as it could be. A little pricey for tacos, but I promise, you dont regret it.

Our waitress forgot our order, and we waited for about an hour. However, the owner realized a mistake had been made with a to-go order, and he apologized. He comped our meal and the food was fantastic! It was actually worth the wait and the owner apologized multiple times over a mistake that could happen anywhere. He made it right and for that reason I would recommend this place to anyone.

Simple, extremely fresh and amazingly flavorful. Haven't had a better taco anywhere. I've had almost every taco on the menu and they are all delicious. The atmosphere is great, and the service is always top notch. I would and have recommended this place to everyone.

Small, friendly atmosphere. Food is fresh and unique. The avocado taco was fantastic. The plantain dish was superb (best as an appetizer).

We tried this place for the first time recently and LOVED it! The food was great and had so much flavor. The service was fantastic. There was live music the night we were there and she was great. My biggest compliment to this place was the plátano macho. It was a dessert and it was made with plantains. I have tried plantains many times and dislike them very much, but gave in to try a bit of this. It was amazing! I would go back just for these!

Small restaurant, small menu, but really good! Live music on the Friday night we went was great too. Great staff to top it off. Tried 3 kinds of tacos and all were great! Definitely recommend it.

Superbly different. I love this place, it is a second location to tortilla bar in Provo. I have tried most everything on the menu by now and almost all of it has such unique flavors, it will light up your mouth. In Utah County I cannot recommend this place enough.

Amazing! I can't believe I found such amazing food in Lindon Utah! The beef tacos were perfectly complimented by apples, something I would've never thought of. My toddler loved the mole. Don't lose the unique location, it adds to the mystery. My only suggestion? Add night lights to the patio, it'd make for the perfect summer night!

This place is delicious, and it is easily the best food in Utah County. I wasn't sure how accurate the Yelp reviews would be. They're spot on. Local organic ingredients a perk.

Absolutely delicious! Haven't found anything like it here in Utah County. We got the tacos and the sopes, both of which exceeded expectations. All the food is deliciously refreshing, especially the salsa! Great quality. Customer service was phenomenal and the entertainment was great. Certainly recommended. It's now a regular for us.

Masa is simply marvelous! Beautifully plated, fresh, flavorful food. I dream of getting the recipes for their grapefruit and apple appetizers. (Although I could never really replicate their genius.) Thank you for bringing this deliciousness to Utah county!

Had lunch here this afternoon and I usually skip dessert, but today I had to try their plantain dessert. My goodness, was this not the highlight of my lunch. It's simply amazing and will make the best ending to your meal at Masa!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
