To be completely honest I was expecting this place to be meh. I have heard mixed reviews but I thought I should try it out for myself. When I got my food and I was surprised with how good it is. I ordered the boneless wings and things plate with sweet and spicy sauce. I likes their seasoning on the fries and their sweet and spicy sauce is the bomb. I could definitely see myself coming back here again.

Took my nieces there on a lunch date & we are absolutely in love! Best chicken around as far as a "fast food" type place. Very clean & nice inside. Felt cozy & staff was very friendly & helpful. I've gotten take out twice since in the same week. My daughter & I can't get enough. We want to try everything eventually. Great coleslaw also! m MAKES KFC look like generic.

After eating at Zaxby's in Georgia a few years ago, we were delighted to see the chain jump several states and come to Utah. The chicken melts in your mouth it's so good. It would be nice to see some other choices besides fries though.

Was not impressed...service was poor as was the food. Chick fil a has much better service and food. Boneless wings were ok, fries came out cold and celery was wilted. Caesar salad was good but at $7.39 a bowl u would expect more than a bowl of lettuce and chicken. Croutons tasted like stale buns. Would not recommend this establishment.

Spent some time in Louisiana, and I like to think I know fried chicken well enough to spot some good stuff when I taste it. I was really hoping for something that would take me back South, but unfortunately Zaxby's isn't the place. The chicken strips were bland (and slightly overcooked), and their 80 billion sauces even confuse their employees. I asked for 3 or 4 of their most popular sauces and received a blank stare, and "well, what kind of sauces to you usually like". Nope. Not a good experience. Go somewhere else if you want great fried chicken. Go here if you like those fancy coke machines and a decent ambiance.

For all the hype, this place fell short. It's okay chicken, about at the level of Popeyes. I had the 3 piece chicken tenders. Their Zaxby's sauce was good and the atomic sauce was good, although not as spicy as I was expecting something named "atomic" to be. I'll be back, but that's more due to the lack of interest I have in the other chains around here.

It confuses me why someone would give a bad review because they didn't know what to order. How hard is it to read a menu, or perhaps take the piece of paper that Zaxbys gave at the front door AND counter, showing the menu. This is fast food. It isn't meant to be compared to Chick Fil A (they do sandwiches, Zaxbys does fingers and wings). Also, it is not meant to be compared to Popeyes. Popeyes is Louisana style, Zaxbys is just general southern style. There is a big difference. I personally love Zaxbys. Be sure to try the Zaxs sauce cause it is meant to enhance the flavor of the chicken. I have never gotten cold food from Zaxbys, the Lehi location is much better than West Valley. Give it a shot, and stop comparing it to other food. It isn't meant to be compared, it's meant to be enjoyed! I recommend the Chicken Fingers plate, no slaw, extra fries (this won't cost extra!). It's the number one favorite!

Good food. Good service. We were staying a cross the street at the Marriott and we ordered a large order of wings and chicken fingers. Like catering big. They had it ready for us in about 1/2 hr and it was fantastic tasting. I'm a Zaxby's fan for sure now.

Meh, reminds me of every other fast food place I've been too. Drive thru was slow, and they forgot some of my food. Kids meal on the other hand had more food than you usually see in a kids meal but the chicken on my salad was boiled, and not grilled like advertised. They had crinkle fries which was impressive and I can't remember if they offered me ketchup or not, but it didn't come with any. As for the boneless wings with insane sauce? Well I may never know because I paid for them and never got them. Oh well

Don't get me wrong, the food is great. Love it to death. The service at this location is horrible. And when I say service, I mean from the manager Leonard. Everyone else, great staff. Leonard has been condescending to me on multiple occasions. I'm a nice guy, but this guy is a stingy manager that seems to have no customer service experience. I was out of town and couldn't use one of my free deals that I stood in line for during the grand opening. I understand why he wouldn't let me, but his remarks and attitude toward the request were unprofessional. On another day, I order my meal. He was about to give it to me when he turned around and gave it back and said to the cooks that it shouldn't have come with fries. I told him that every time I come, it comes with fries. He said it doesn't and that I probably ordered a side fries with it in the past. I said no, it's the same price and it always comes with fries. He wanted to see my receipt and said no, this doesn't come with fries and gave me my order. Leonard is the General Manager for this place and super unprofessional with his customers.

I didn't have the same experience as the other people who rated Zaxby's badly. Honestly, getting good and affordable food close to work is a bit of an experience. At most restaurants around here a meal is about $10 and it's good. I tried Zaxby's today because I didn't have much time and they're closest to where I work. I am very happy that I went. I got the Zaxby Club with onion rings and a pickle, and it all cost about $6. It was really really tasty too, the chicken was tender and moist, and the sauce was delicious. I am a fan now, and I'd recommend at least trying that sandwich to anyone going there for the first time.

Great to have Zaxby's in Utah! Plate meal was awesome, although the tenders were not as good as Raising Canes, they are far superior to anything else around. I also like the nearby Popeye's as well, but both are still a 10-12 mile drive from our area.

This is just based off of their drive through experience. I pull up, they greet me with "welcome to Calvin Klein". I can get past that. I proceed to order, and she repeats back what I'm ordering in gibberish and starts laughing. Are you kidding me? This happened on 11/28 at 9 pm if that helps any managers. BUT I'm sure they don't care.

First things first... It was WAYY too salty. I had a house salad with honey mustard dressing. The Texas toast that I was excited to try looks amazing but when you bite into a salt block, you kinda find yourself a bit disappointed. My brother had chicken fingerz and my sister had a zax club, both the bread and fries were also salty. I almost paid $8 for a salad.. The portion was huge. Too much for an average woman who would target these salads. I don't even think I ate half of it before I was full. The dressing was delicious minus all the extra ingredients that probably didn't need to be in it. The service was nice but the menu is a bit small and not many options. It's not the worst but it's not good enough to even be average for me.

Just your average cafeteria type food. I ordered the Zax snack meal and it was like getting a gas station style chicken strips with fries but with the addition of a dry piece of Texas toast. The fries tasted like they had been under a heat lamp for a while. I actually prefer another chicken place over this one. The fountain drinks are good because you can get many different flavors due to they have those touch screen dispensers. I may change my review in the future if I try them again. But so far my first experience with the food at this place was sub par.

I don't know about the other reviewers, but I love chicken fingers and wings, so I was in heaven. I understand that people have different preferences, so you may disagree, but I don't think their chicken or fries are too salty. I think they are very good. I also thought that the service was excellent (especially considering the service I have received at the neighboring fast food establishments). I personally love their wings with the sweet and spicy sauce. My friend tried a salad with her chicken coated with this sauce (they will put your chicken or wings in any sauce and you can always sample first to see if you like the sauce). I have also tried their banana cream pie shake which is super yummy. Give it a try if you like this kind of food!
