I've now been to 4 Dickey's BBQ places in 4 states including my home state of Texas. All have been disappointing. This location. .. I had the Tuesday special, pork ribs, 2 sides, roll and a drink. I added a 1/4 lb. of brisket. Sides were pinto beans and fried okra. Meats were dry, as in being in a warmer way to long. Sauces were not anything remarkable. .. spicy sauce wasn't very spicy. Bean were bland. Okra was the best of this meal. Special was $8.99. Reasonable. Regular price is $12.99. I can get a 2 meat and 2 side plate in Texas for $7.99 not including drink. I'm closing the book on Dickey's. ..

So, I've had some amazing BBQ but this place isn't it. I didn't expect a lot. The roll was decent & I really enjoy the potato salad (hence the 2 stars). Now the only meat I've had so far is the pork but I am skeptical. It tastes boiled. Whether its the before or after process it is most certainly boiled & for that I am not able to muster a better recommendation or try the ribs.

I like buying meat by the pound. I also get one or two meat specials to take home. The jalepeno beans are great. They have good Diet Coke. We like the brisket, the pulled pork, and the chicken. The chicken is fab tossed with pasta and Alfredo sauce, BTW!

Overall a good experience for fast casual. The food is acceptable to good, while a couple neat extras make for a fun and tasty lunch visit. I got the Westerner with polish sausage and pulled pork with BBQ baked beans and mac n' cheese. Sandwhich was good. Soft, fresh bread over dry but flavorful pulled pork. A few pickle chips, American cheese and raw white onions rounded out the forgetable condiments. The polish sausage was actually very good, not at all too salty like many I've had at actual restaurants, and a nice heat and flavor. The BBQ beans were a little watery but tasty, and the mac n' cheese suffered from imitation cheese and overcooked noodles, but also had a good flavor and was thus better than I'd expect from a place like this. They had three kinds of BBQ sauce sitting out in hot pots for you to help yourself. This was awesome, wide-mouthed portion cups made for great dipping. They also have free "ice cream", which is not very good iced milk mix, but is still a great little added value and you can just dump some in your big Dickies cup for a Root Beer float.

I don't expect much when I go to a Dickey's but this place was below my usual expectations. Brisket - dried out, fat not rendered, no flavor from the rub or smoke ring. Turkey - was moist but the texture was more like a composite bird than a turkey breast. Roll - usually their highlight, but it was also dried out and cold. My thought is, if we want Dickey's to improve their BBQ game they need to be kept honest. They've been sliding by on mediocrity forever and it's time for us to expect better and Dickey's to up their game finally.

I love Dickies, but this is a location to avoid. My first hint was when I walked in, and the place was a ghost town, while the surrounding restaurants were quite full. The dining room was dirty, with the floors unswept and the tables messy and sticky. As I approached the line to order, it was very obvious that the staff was less than thrilled to have a customer come in. They avoided my gaze and presence for a good minute or two before gruffly saying, "What would you like? " I took one good look at the serving station, and then back into the kitchen, seeing they were both filthy as well, and let them know I changed my mind and left the restaurant (making the employee snort in annoyance) Dickies is good, just not this one.

It's better than the Orem store. The dishes I've had here have been pretty good. The "ice cream" is awful everywhere. Give me peanuts instead. It's close to where I work, so it's nice it's decent. I don't have much to say. Acceptable BBQ by the numbers. Despite coming off like a Debbie Downer. There are other places around here that are a lot worse -- and that's sad.

Decent Barbeque. It's good for meat. I'm not one for sides, so anyplace I can get JUST meat is good with me. BBQ sauces are okay, not really smokey, sweet or hot. The ribs were a bit over-cooked. Doing pot smoking, depending on type of meat & cut 6-10 hours is more than sufficient, any longer and the meat gets dry & tasteless.

This is a pretty decent lunch place. The one meat dish is more than enough for me. The three sauces are ok. The sides are good. None of us had enough room for the fee ice cream.

Good Food but Pricey for lunch. I ordered a pull pork sandwich which was good. The Baked Beans are really good. The mac & cheese isn't that good. Good food just pricey. If I am going to pay that much might as well go to a sit down place where the portions are bigger i.e. better value.

This location is nothing like the American Fork location and has awesome BBQ. The pulled pork sandwich is really good. It comes with pickles, onions, and a nice sauce that's not too sweet or too spicy it's just right. The BBQ taste like Sean's BBQ in Saratoga Springs except, the meat is more meat, and less fat covered up with sauce. The baked potato casserole is probably their best side dish. It sort of taste like funeral potatoes. Mashed potatoes with bacon and cheese mixed in and topped with green onions and a little bit more shredded cheese. Save time for take out and order online and skip the line. They are really busy now since they just opened.
