Carbohydrate bliss! My biggest problem with Great Harvest is that I go in to buy a sandwich, and inevitably end up saving it for later because I'm full! off of the enormous complimentary slice I get at the order counter. I guess that's not really a "problem"? Ha! Oh, how I "heart" Great Harvest. I "heart" their panini's. I "heart" their loaves of bread- any, and EVERY kind. I "heart" their desserts. I "heart" their friendly employees. And then, I take my heart out for a good, long run; to keep it healthy. And to be able to justify another trip to Great Heart-vest!

My wife and I love bread with plenty of whole wheat grain for our health! To be very honest we have shopped there off and on for many years and we have had both positive and negative feelings about their bread, rolls, cookies and other items! For example we have bought the Honey Whole Wheat and have enjoyed it's texture and taste. Then our next purchase of the same bread, it would be a little drier and has a very dense texture which doesn't taste as well and it takes a very long time to toast! The bread is dried out and not edible on the next day. This bakery is not consistent with their quality! This applies to rolls, cookies and most of what they sale! If you don't mind trying to return unsatisfactory quality product to the owners which they will give you the third degree, then you might enjoy the experience!!

Awesome bread and amazing sandwiches. Great Harvest's always has a great vibe with friendly employees and have the quality of food to match the service! Love the Cinnamon Rolls, Wheat Bread, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread and Rolls.

I heart carbs. So what better place to visit than Great Harvest? Though I'm usually a cheapskate and get the heavily processed wanna be wheat bread at the local Kroger, sometimes I need some freshly baked bread, mixed at the hands of those awesome bakers who get up in the wee hours of the morning to mix it up for me. Most of their breads contain only a few ingredients. Flour, water, yeast, honey etc. This is where my love affair of hearty wheat breads began. Could I make my own bread? I sure could. But that takes EFFORT. So I'll pay a good amount to go to Great Harvest when my body cries "No more chemicals!" Honey whole wheat is their most popular, followed by Cinnamon Burst, Country White and a mix of whole wheat and white flours. I also love their Apple Cinnamon round and focaccia bread. They also have AMAZING sandwiches. Blue Roast Beef, Turkey Panini and Smoked turkey are my favorites. The best part about the Smoked Turkey is that its on Cranberry Orange bread. Heavenly. They give you a generous slice of your choice when you walk in. They also have an array of sweets. Cookies, cinnamon rolls, brownies, scones (raspberry lemon with white chocolate chips!!!!!!!!!!), muffins and their special "mazurka" bars. There is not a bad product anywhere to be found here. It costs a bit more, but its worth it. The owners are great, the employees are happy, the bread is outstanding.

My husband and I stumbled across Great Harvest while we were visiting a friend in Layton and it was absolutely delicious! We went in for breakfast and I asked the man behind the counter to make us 2 breakfast sandwiches with whatever he wanted to put on them. (I could tell by talking to him that he had a passion for baking) He made us the 2 BEST breakfast sandwiches that I have ever had in my life! I wish that I had paid more attention to what he was putting on them so that I could describe them but they were amazing.
