We had dinner here this evening and really enjoyed our time. The service was good--the owners came out to the table, and the food was delicious! Initially we came by this morning to look for a breakfast place but they do NOT serve breakfast. We definitely recommend stopping by this unlikely treasure in a strip mall.

There were six of us. Some had breakfast, some had lunch. All our dishes were fresh & delicious. Biscuits & bread were fresh. French fries, yummy. Service was very attentive. Highly recommend.

I drive by the place several times a week & finally gave it a try. It's a decent little cafe -- not a huge menu, but all the basics, *and* thankfully a veggie-burger for me. I got the veggie-burger with cheese, and it came with a side of fries. Everything was very good, and relatively inexpensive (with an iced tea, my bill came to under $10). Food was served quickly, and the service was friendly. It's not a place I'll go to if I'm wanting to gobble-up lots & lots of food or have a 'special' meal with a friend, but I'll definitely be patronizing the place once or twice a month when I'm nearby and wanting a relatively inexpensive & quick sit-down lunch or dinner.

We stopped in on our hotel desk clerk's recommendation. They seated us quickly and were very friendly. The food also came fairly quickly, too. My California chicken sandwich was super tasty. My daughter ordered the fettuccine Alfredo (also very good) and my husband ordered the chicken fried steak. He told me it was pancake thin and overdone. He had to send it back to the kitchen and ordered the pork chops as a replacement--which were very tasty, perfectly done with excellent steamed green beans and mashed potatoes. The waitress was very apologetic and the chef even came out to check to make sure his meal was to his liking. We were impressed with how they handled the situation. Take it from us...if you're toggling between the chicken fried steak and the pork chops--go with the pork chops. I'd give them 3.5 stars, but Yelp doesn't do that. This is a good place, affordable and amiable.

Food here is great. Place is clean and the service was outstanding. The server took our 10 person order with some special requests and never wrote anything down. Got it all right. She was easy on the eyes too which has nothing to do with the food but... If you find yourself in Hurricane Utah with a rumbly in your tumbly stop at TJ's

Simple place nothing special I order the lemon fish that was really good. If I am in the area ever again I will stop by.

We decided to stop here for an early dinner one night after a day filled with activities. This place was absolutely great. They made sure to always come back to refill our drinks and the food was great. My boyfriend got their biscuits and gravy and I got their club sandwich. It all tasted homemade and very fresh. It definitely hit the spot for some good comfort food. I will definitely be back when I go visit Hurricane again.

I have been here twice. They make excellent soup. It's a little on the expensive side for the type of food they serve, but the food is made really well.

The baby back ribs were excellent and the homemade apple pie completed a wonderful dinner.

We took a tour group of 20 adults to TJ'S and all agreed that the food and service was fantastic. Delicious affordable entrees, fresh salads, and desserts were yummy with a great dollop of icecream. Staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly. Definitely come back here next time our New Zealand group come to USA!

We stopped here while driving from Kanab to Vegas and it was solidly okay. The food was fine, but the service was a little slow and uninterested. It's a solid place for a sandwich if you're looking for something other than fast food, but that's about it (based on my one experience, that is).

We stopped at this little cafe after skipping the Baristas restaurant after reading too many bad reviews. We were so glad we did. My hamburger was a fresh hand formed patty with a soft bun. Fries and fry sauce great too. The homemade apple pie served with ice cream were amazing. Staff was attentive and very nice. Menu has sandwiches, burgers, salad, soup, ribs.

I'm not sure why this place has such good reviews. I guess for a town in the middle of nowhere it's decent. However my food (chicken fried chicken) was very average. It only tasted good because we were starving. The service there is good but it's almost too good. Your table is given about 10 servers who come up to you every 5 seconds because no one realizes someone else was just there.

Best restaurant in Hurricane! I can honestly say that because I've been to all the other ones and this one is, hands down, best food and service in town. Soup of Day = Potato - Super scald-your-mouth hot deliciousness, creamy, with big chunks of potatoes and veggies. Extra pepper just made it taste better Halibut Fish - a bit dry (overdone?), but flavorful flaky fish w a nice crisp crust Bacon-Mushroom Cheeseburger - even though it came to us over-cooked, it was still juicy and delicious, enhanced w mushrooms French Fries - hot, crisp and fresh to order Coleslaw - homemade heaven! Not too vinegary, not too mayo-y, just needed a not more pepper and it was almost Texas good!! Apple Pie a la mode - fresh, freakin' homemade people!! Rich-flaky-butter crust filled with not-too-sweet winter apples. Noms! A bit over-zealous staff, but super friendly and chatty. Loves their job. Loves their food.

BEST FRYS IN TOWN!!! Well actually BEST food by far!! The owner is a glorified "food snob" which makes for a higher quality food! Somewhere I could take my mom. Best ribs in town, high quality beef burgers and REAL ice cream!!!! Stumbled in to this hidden gem for something NOT the norm. FOUND IT! Can't say enough.... Oh and GREAT service!

Salmon was excellent, Cobb salad was beautifully assembled and delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. They got our requests for "items on the side" exactly right. I definitely will eat here again next time I am in the area. Atmosphere is nice and reasonably quiet, location is close to an RV park, good for visitors.

Worth the Turn into the strip mall for a local bite. Large variety, breakfast lunch or dinner. I had Cobb salad and a cup of soup. Service was quick and friendly.

This is a good little diner, with fresh food and generous portions. We arrived in the Twilight Zone between lunch and early dinner, and the server seemed to be running the whole show herself. I could see people in the kitchen, but they didn't seem in much of a hurry. Excellent fries, so call it 3 1/2 starts.

We stopped here after camping at the State Park. The staff welcomed us with friendly smiles. The breakfast menu has something for everyone at very reasonable prices. Amazing steak and eggs for under $9! Definately give this place a visit.

So, this cafe replaced another in the same spot. It's been around for several months now. My husband and I tried it out tonight. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's a bit eclectic, but not in a hip way, in its decorating style. Booths and a few tables, yellow walls, an odd assortment of wall decor, and a huge painted shark on the floor. The menu is two sides of a plastic menu card. Basic, reasonable, with a few sandwiches, a couple of salads, one soup (veggie beef), a few entrees, and a couple of desserts (outrageously priced at $6.99 a slice for cake that is NOT that special). My husband ordered a burger and fries that was dripping grease like nobody's business. The fries tasted okay, and the bun was toasted, which is always nice. I had the fish'n'chips. Plus is that it was not a beer batter and they had malt vinegar. The down side? It turned out that is was just a frozen concoction of three little fillets with more batter than anything. It was all served pretty quickly....that's when we discovered that nothing was made fresh...it's just all frozen and deep fried to the table. blech! For a Friday night....there were two other tables besides us. Not impressed. We wish there was one really great place to eat in this town. This isn't it.

We go here once a week for date night and we love it! It's a cute little family place and the food is awesome! I recommend the fish and chips and the ribs. The prices are great and you can order a drink (beer) with your meal.

This is one of two local places where we can be sure we won't be disappointed when we need a place to go with visitors. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly, and the food is good. Pastrami sandwiches are very good, as are the ribs. The decor is reminiscent of small cafes in big East Coast cities.
