Good inexpensive food. Milkshakes are amazing. Burger good. Better then other places in town. Just a fun unique place to go get some food.
Holiday Lanes is a good value and provides solid family fun. Unfortunately, I'm not really into family fun. The food here is pretty tasty, specifically the grilled cheese and the milkshake. The ventilation isn't very good though, so you'll smell like grease and burgers when you leave. The lanes are nice, but the shoes and balls have seen better days. The balls in particular are really beaten up. The service is friendly, and we were happy that they accepted walk-ins. This place is overrun with children. Lots and lots of children. I felt bad for drinking a Bud Light. I felt worse when the kid next to me knocked it over. I know that families like to bowl, but there was seriously a 1 adult to 4 kids ratio when I went. Do not bring your loud or inappropriate friends here!
Really is as good as everyone said. Staff was super sweet, burgers and fries were great and we had a beer too! We would recommend it to anyone. Inexpensive food at the bowling alley. Yay!

Friendly people, good coffee, nice atmostphere, free internet. That's 4 reasons for 4 stars.
One of my two fave coffee places in Heber. They take time and listen to how you actually want your coffee made- plus the vibe inside is pretty sweet. entry of places to sit down and enjoy your coffee while chatting etc. Try their London Fog
Great dirty chai's

Love this place! Eat there a couple of times every week!
Great authentic Mexican food. Outstanding tacos and enchiladas. Flavor of the pork tacos was excellent. We will definitely be back very soon.
My favorite Mexican food in the Heber area! I had a weird craving about 2 years ago to try some fish taco's, but I didn't really have a local place that I used. I went into this place, ordered the fish-taco's and they were fabulicious!! I loved them, I love this restaurant and always get them here! (I don't think I'd even be willing to venture elsewhere for my Fish-Taco's because they are SO GOOD!) My friends have also gotten all the usual items here: Taco's, Chimichanga's, burritos and they all raved about how yummy everything was too :) Cheers!

This restaurant is a perfect place for a romantic dinner. It was in the middle of a movie set right now but that will be probably taken down in two days. The food was delicious the restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. I like the beef tenderloin which was extremely tender.
This place is definitely worth the drive. We had a groupon and headed up to Heber to get out of the heat of SLC. The building is really cute and looks very historic. The food was really good. We started with the hoisin calamri and shrimp and the flatbread. I forgot to say no mushrooms on the flatbread but after I picked them off I really enjoyed it. The calamari and shrimp were my favorite though. The breading was light and the calamari and shrimp were tender. I loved the sweetness of the hoisin glaze. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad. It was good but nothing really special. I had the tenderloin with mashed potatoes. The meat was perfectly cooked and tender. And the sauce on top - amazing!! I didn't eat the vegetable because I don't care for snap peas. But it wasn't as if I didn't have plenty of food. The portions are generous. The dessert, however, stole the show. We had the gingersnap ice cream sandwich with warm caramel sauce. It was to die for!! I would seriously drive the 40 minutes to Heber just for that!! Definitely a good meal and I can't wait to go back.
Great restaurant in Heber. Its located in a cute little old building, and it sort of feels like you're eating in someone's dining room. The waitress was very friendly. I got the salmon, which was on their summer menu (I believe the menu changes) and thought it was delicious. My husband got the chicken, which he enjoyed. The wine selection was ok, could have been a little better. The brownie sundae was served in a cute sundae glass. We will definitely be returning at some point.

Pizza was pretty solid but wasnt really anything special. Coke machine was messed up and the coke was flat...so not a big deal but was a bummer. Caesar salad was pretty good but made withe iceberg lettuce, pet peeve of mine for caesar salads.
Food was excellent. Great sandwiches, salad and fries! The Junction was the local place to eat after we realized that policemen, medical personnel, and families all came in while we were there! Plus, the restrooms were clean and had wonderful posters to read.
The burgers were average, this place had good reviews, so I was disappointed. The buns were nice, though. My son's steak sandwich was good. Maybe if you order the pizza you will have better luck.

I come here when I have company and get a few pizzas. They always have been good. Love the cheese bread and dessert pizzas. Always get coupons in the mail too which isn't bad.
I would normally give a 5-star rating, but recently the Heber location has been a bit off. The past three times we've gotten pizza here, they have been SO skimpy on the cheese. Like REALLY skimpy- 1/2 of what we have come to expect here. There is also a new manager or assistant manager that is rude to employees (even in front of customers) and abrupt and cold to customers. A little friendliness goes a long way! I LOVE the Thai pizza at Papa Murphy's- but am sad that recently things haven't been as good.
I've had a lot of pizza pies. from new york, to chicago, to wherever. Theres 2 that have been so tasty they've haunted me. The cheeseburger pizza and the taco pizza, both from papa Murphys. For a regular pepperoni or cheese pizza, I don't taste the difference. when they have a special, I'm starting to pay attention.

The only reason I'm giving this place 1 star is because of the food. The food and gelato are good but the service can be horrendous. I've never felt so discriminated against as I did here. We were dressed appropriately and didn't mind the wait for a table but once sat, we had to go get someone to take our order and our check. We were completely ignored while every table around us was being helped and asked how their food was. The food isn't worth the service we received. My husband and I, with his beard and sleeve obviously don't belong in Heber City according to these folks.
Great moist and juicy turkey. They also have a pulled pork sandwich that has fantastic mustard cole slaw. Since I don't like cole slaw, it takes a lot for me to say it was gooooood.
Still the best in Wasatch County. Still the best in Summit County as well. Well worth swinging wide for. I keep coming here, and it's always good.

Tony’s Tacos

Reviews:
My husband and I just ate at Tony's Tacos Authentic Mexican Food on Main St. In Heber City, Utah. It was our first time eating there. You can park on the street or in back. There are entrances in front, on the side, and in the back. Their food was absolutely delicious! We had a chile relleno, enchiladas, a tamale, a huge side of guacamole & chips, yummy salsa (not spicy hot), rice and beans, a small salad, and took home a huge tres leche. They offered a selection of hot and spicy goodies, but we didn't try them. The menu offered a wonderful selection of foods. I just wish I'd remembered to take photos. The helpings were very generous and the prices were fair. We will definitely be back again in the future. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. It is not a fancy restaurant, but it was clean and the food was what we went there for. We were not disappointed in any way. We brought our left-overs home to enjoy later.
Only negative was first impression and worn/modest decor in an old building. But I came for the food. Found the "front" door is actually on the north side, along with most of the parking. I'm a huge fan of Tarahumara and make yearly pilgrimages on bicycle from Utah Valley just to eat there and bask in the salsa bar and fresh-baked pastries. However, on this trip to Midway with my hungry family, we took a gamble on Yelp's good reviews of Tony's Tacos and it paid off. I probably saved over $40 going here instead of Tarahumara. $13.95 for a pork carnitas taco at Tarahumara. 99 cents at Tony's. Hrmmm, what to do... I was spoiled on great, authentic homemade Mexican food in Texas and California. So it's hard for a Mexican place to please me. This place hits most of my hot buttons except for a free salsa bar. They used real Mexican cheese (farmer or cotija) on the beans and nachos when I asked for it. The street tacos were a street price (99 cents! I can get full for about 3 bucks!). Served with onions and cilantro on the side if you ask for it that way. Pastor, asada, pollo and carnitas; they had all my favorites, seasoned just right, served with a slice of lime on little house-made corn tortillas. We had our glasses and a pitcher of ice water within a minute or two, and the food just a few minutes later. Waitress was patient as we fumbled through our choices from the unfamiliar menu, and very pleasant as she served us. My son ordered an horchata which he found a bit watery, but delighted in the huge tall glass in which it was served. Thinking we'd all eat 3 or 4 tacos, I ordered four of each. Along with a side of rice and beans was more than enough to feed my family of seven. But I made the pleasant mistake of ordering a plate of super nachos ($5.75). Perfection,Tony's even served the carne asada nachos with fresh slices of Avocado and crema drizzled over the top, which practically nobody does in Utah without charging you $2 more. Just an awesome value and fabulous find for the budget-conscious.
I love Tony's Tacos. We moved to Heber in June of 2014 and found this place immediately. I agree with many of the other reviewers that when you compare this place to Tarahumara, that you get much more for less money and the food is much better at Tony's tacos. My kids like the nachos and burritos, my wife and I and our oldest child know that their tacos are outstanding. We order a variety and share them. They flavor is amazing and you will not be disappointed with any of their tacos. I personally like the carnitas and pastor tacos best. I also love supporting a family business and seeing many of the family members work is awesome. If there is a knock on Tony's, the service is a little slow when it gets busy. I'm patient because I've been there enough, but I can see a first time visitor getting frustrated. They also seem to really skimp on the chips and salsa and it is difficult to get a refill on those, especially when it is busy. Honestly, the quality of the food makes up for those deficiencies, but it is something I would like to see them improve upon.

The food and service was excellent. We were in Heber City 3 nights and dined at Vito's 2 of them. Everything was wonderful - huge portions! We'll be back next time we're in town!
We've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and I am SO glad that we did. From the appetizers to the desserts....were absolutely amazing. The roasted asparagus and the bruschetta are a delicious must!
Great restaurant right in Heber. We live near Jordanelle and tend to head to Park City for dinner, so its nice to have an option in Heber. Everyone was very friendly from the hostess that greeted us to our waitress. There was a cute patio area but we opted to eat inside given it was still almost 90 degrees out. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the portions. I noticed a couple reviews stated small portions. I'm not sure if they have insane appetites because I consider myself to eat a lot and thought the portions were very generous. I ordered a caesar salad, and chicken piccata for dinner and could only eat half of the meal. I'm excited to have it for leftovers. IMy husband ordered the chicken parmesan and thought it was very good, but we both thought it could have used a bit more marinara sauce. I also eyed all the plates going to other tables and everything looked good and plentiful. We will visit again at some point.

We had their meal for two - I think it was called their " happy meal". In any case we ordered the walnut shrimp and the moo goo gai pan. Both were excellent an the quantity allowed us to have another meal from the take home bag. The soup could have been a meal in itself. The waiter carefully explained that our food would take some time due to every thing being prepared as it was ordered. He was very attentive. The only negative was the fact that the booths were torn and worn. All in all, a great meal.
I am from China but have lived in this country for 25 years. Even though I prefer authentic Chinese food, I like many dishes in Americanized Chinese restaurants as well, such as hot and sour soup, chicken with broccoli, and fried rice. My family went to this restaurant a few weeks ago when we drove by the area, due to good reviews on Yelp. It was the worst food I have ever had in a Chinese restaurant. Everything was so salty that I actually dipped my food in ice water before eating it. I didn't send anything back because who knows what happens in the kitchen when you send food back. All our dishes were awful, even the hot and sour soup. It was so sour I quit after the first spoonful. Our waiter never came to check on how we liked the food. When I paid the bill, I told the young lady working the register everything was too salty, she said nonchalantly sorry. We paid the bill and left the waiter 20% tip because I felt sorry he worked in such an awful restaurant!
My wife and I have dined in once and had take out once, and surprisingly, when I went in for dinner, the place seemed like a "real" Chinese restaurant and the food was pretty good. Having grown up in the Houston area where you can find some of the best and most diverse varieties of Chinese food in America I have pretty low expectations for most places. Having lived in places with mediocre Chinese food I've grown used to gauging a place based on the "Panda Express Scale" or sometimes the "Pei Wei Scale." The first thing I noticed was some of the nice decor. While the dining room clearly hasn't had much attention paid to the overall appearance, there was some effort in putting up a few large, nice pieces in the entry to make the place feel special. Next, the menu actually has every menu item in Chinese next to the English. Amazing! Given that Heber Valley has maybe a 0.5% Chinese population give or take 0.1% you would think they wouldn't have even bothered with the Chinese names. Usually, if you go to a place where the menu has the Chinese names you're probably at a place that makes an effort to offer authentic styles of Chinese food. Given the name "Canton City," you might expect the food to be southern-style, or Cantonese-style cuisine (bleh...). However, everyone at the restaurant was speaking Mandarin so overall, they don't seem to be emphasizing any particular style of Chinese food. Like most places, there's a big menu with a variety of American-style dishes and a lot of lunch/dinner special meal deal stuff. As far as the food goes, I can only testify to the couple of dishes we tried, which were mostly not-so-authentic dishes like Orange Chicken and fried rice. The orange chicken was really good with nicely fried crunchy chicken and a balanced, sweet, tangy sauce, but I'm somewhat suspicious that they used MSG (I'm not positive they used it, but I had a noticeably odd feeling afterwards consistent with previous MSG experiences). But it was better than Panda Express. The hot n' sour soup was really good according to my wife who is a hot n' sour soup expert. The fried rice was just ok. Like a lot of places, the fried rice is slightly blander so you can substitute it for steamed rice with your meal. We also got a Mu shu chicken, which was just like how mu shu usually tastes except it had a lot of chicken, which wasn't a bad thing. If you're not familiar with mu shu it's basically an Asian burrito. Service was prompt and everyone was friendly. Very nice people. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Canton City as it seems quite a bit better (so far) than Park City's Szechuan and Heber's Dragon Star. Still, having had a lot of meals in Taiwan fairly recently, this place is good only by Utah standards.
