We liked this place a lot. We went on a Friday while visiting family and it was pretty busy. I had the orange chicken and it was by far the best I've ever had. The chicken was fried first and the orange flavor was perfect. A little bit of spice and a good orange flavor. I liked the fried rice as well. The lunch special included a small egg roll that was also tasty. My wife shared the lo mein with the kids and I tried a bit of that and it was very good. My kids also got ham fried rice and nearly ate all of it. The egg drop soup was nothing to brag about. I thought it was just OK. My wife liked the hot and sour soup though. It is a family run business and the seating area could use some improvements and organization but I think it is ok and adds a bit of character to the place. Just like most Chinese restaurants they have the fish tanks that the kids loved.

The food was pretty good! I enjoyed that part of my experience a lot. The service was a bit slow-the employees were very friendly, but I had to wait awhile before seeing an employee whom I could flag down for more water, a take-out box, etc. Also, it smelled a little funny in the restaurant, but that could have easily been a fluke. But definitely one of the better restaurants in Ephraim/Manti area.

It was ok, until that night. I've had food poisoning before, so I know I had it that night. I'm not going back.

This place is a big step up from a lot of grungy Chinese places I've been in, although it isn't exactly high class either. It's really pretty good food if you order the right thing. I've ordered curry noodles there several times.

Quick stop for dinner. Service was OK. There was three of us and we did the set dinner which was on the greasy side and a bit bland. I would not come back

Wow. Just got the chicken and veggies. It was literally chicken and vegetables, with NOTHING else. Plus the veggies were under cooked. Payed $10. Not a fan.

Good food, good prices. Wide variety for an Ephraim Chinese restaurant. I did get sick eating here once. Just be warned. Also there are two really nice waiters, one's blonde and the other was short and funny, but a little forgetful. One time when I went to eat here and I was wearing my mother's Tom's. One of the waiters was absolutely fascinated by my shoes! He went and got the cook and they asked if they could look at them. I took them off and he asked how much I paid for them, I guessed and said $50. He laughed and said, I could make them for $10. I didn't doubt it. When we were done eating, they brought me and my friend free desert. Pretty awesome.

I liked it. Crispy beef, home style tofu, and spicy fish are all tasty and flavorful. Portions are generous. Get a few plates and share them family style. Annie, the owner, is friendly and helpful for small groups or big parties. Service is excellent. The specials board has new or unique dishes.

Rice is cooked in a huge batch days in advanced so stay away from the fried rice stuff and don't plan on using a debit or credit card if you want something under 8 dollars. Food is good and service was OK.

Chicken was raw. I should've known something was wrong when it only took 5 minutes for the food to come out. I didn't even notice the chicken was raw until I was halfway through. Thankfully, I didn't get sick.

I cannot recommend this place at all. The food and service were below average. Too bad it's the only Chinese place in the town.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
