Decent BBQ at a decent price. I phoned in an order on a Sunday (because kids eat free!), and it was ready exactly when they said it would be. The guy working was so friendly and made sure that our order was exactly what we ordered before we left. Which was nice because it seems like most to go orders are always messed up. Now the food, it was pretty good. Nothing amazing but still good. I had the ribs and sliced brisket. Not sure why they called it sliced since it's not sliced. It's more like a big chunk of pulled brisket. I tried all of the different BBQ sauces (original, sweet and spicy) and meh. Not that good. At first we thought it was the meat, but when we tried it with Famous Dave's BBQ sauce it was so much better! For sides we tried: Mac and cheese (decent), potato salad (gross), BBQ beans (not bad), waffle fries (delicious!) and fried onion strings (so good). I would definitely go back and eat there again.

This was my second visit to this location and my experiences were similar. The BBQ is good food and amongst the best of the "chains." Prepped fresh in front of you and tasty sides. The. "Big yellow cup" is nice and reusable. The ice cream is a nice touch if you can spare the room. This location has been dirty on both visits. I got there right at open today and there was a lot of waste on the floor, drink prep counter was dirty an unkempt. Ice cream cones were laying on the counter and the trashes were giving off an odor like they weren't dumped last night. Good food but the cleanliness needs improvement.

Mediocre. Im from Texas and I love BBQ, especially brisket, but 2 out of 3 times I've been here their brisket was extremely fatty, and I just can't stomach it, and when it's all chopped up, there's nothing you can do about it, except not eat it, which is exactly what I did. Don't get the salad as a side. Biggest rip off ever!

If you're pregnant, they have free ice cream and pickles, so they have that going for them. If you're not pregnant, well....er...uhm....

Dickeys Barbecue Pit always hits the spot. Great lunch place that offers quick, friendly service and great barbecue. Don't forget to grab your complimentary ice cream after dinner. My friend came up with what I thought was a brilliant idea. Put some ice cream in that big yellow cup and top it off with rootbeer for a rootbeer freeze to go! And I can't figure out why I'm 20 lbs overweight??

Traveling from out of state so I came here with some co-workers. I got the rib plate special with 3 ribs, waffle cut fries and Mac n cheese the other day I got the Smokehouse Salad and it was all great, their daily special is the best value. I just found out that there's Dickies near my house so I will be going there soon.

I was here on Sunday with my family to take advantage of their kids eat free deal. The food came out quick and it was pretty good given I got one free meal for my kid and free ice cream. The food itself was not bad at all, although wife told me their beef sandwich was a little dry.

The meat has good flavor, but more often than not it is dry. I mainly go for the fried okra, which is always handed to me hot and fresh! Aside from Cracker Barrel in Springville, this is the only place I know of in the area to get okra!

I decided to give Dickey's a try tonight on a whim. I got the managers special which included 3 meats, 2 sides and a drink for the same price as the 2 meat deal. I got the turkey, pulled pork & TX brisket, and all the meats were really good, but going back, I would have to stick with the TX Brisket. You can really get the whole BBQ experience. Smokey wood and a touch spicy in tender beef; it's really good. The mashed potatoes are among the better potatoes around and the rolls are buttery good. Will be going back. As far as the service, I went in, was greeted right away, got my food and was out the door. Maybe they have stepped up the service dept. based on the reviews here because I had good service.

We went to the new Dickeys in Draper near Harmon's. We were not impressed with the high school age staff lacking customer service. One of the employees was sitting on the counter that they were serving food while we were waiting in line. It seemed that all of the meat was pre-made, and wrapped in plastic which leads me to believe it is sent to the restaurant frozen. The ribs were sealed in plastic. The chopped items on the menu were low quality. Small portions for the price. At least $11 per person, and not worth it. Save your time and appetite and explore other BBQ places.

Sorry Dickey's. Even when the food is free it still doesn't warrant a better star rating. On a good day I might raise it to a 3 though if I was feeling generous. I gave this place another shot and overall my impression is meh. Cold BBQ sandwiches, cold sauce and probably a bit overpriced. It's not a bad place for BBQ but it just wouldn't be my first choice. I know they want to do well so hopefully they will make some changes and probably in a while I'll try them again to see if I like it any better.

Sandwiches aren't good. Even when you're hungry. At first I thought its nice to at least have a fast food BBQ placed to pick up a pulled pork or brisket on the go. But no. The BBQ sauce is not very good. It's thin as can be and tastes cheap. I do like the spicy cheddar sausage. That is good stuff. Is give it 4 stars. The first few bites taste like 5 stars. But you can't eat very much of it before it overwhelms your taste buds and stomach. Their Baked potatoes are a waste of money. So it's hard to go there for just spicy cheddar sausage. You can't because you need something else. It's too potent a taste to eat alone. I love the idea of a quick BBQ place...we need more BBQ and less hamburger places! But dickies isn't a solid solution. The spicy cheddar sausage is worth a try. But don't try the sandwiches. The other meat is so-so. It's not going to compete with serious BBQ places. But it is fast food. A bit on the pricey side for fast food though. I almost want to just buy the spicy cheddar sausage and get the rest of my BBQ meal at another place.

It sounded really good because I was starving, but I ended up eating ice cream. The prices they charge for canned food is outrageous. The ribs are an insult to actual ribs...my husband calls them "fibs" because he swears they aren't real. I was excited because I'm craving bbq anything all the time being pregnant, but this was a huge turn off.

Just happened to be driving by and tried this place. Staff was very nice and food was great. I will be back when I head back to the Salt Lake City area. Got my big yellow cup!

Took the family to Dickey's last Sunday & was truly disappointed. And before you get to my list, please know the place was not busy at all....maybe 4 families during our dining experience. First off, we were not greeted upon walking in & actually had to wait a few minutes for the person (maybe the owner) to acknowledge us. After ordering and getting our food/drink cups, I went to get my drink....someone had mixed up the ice tea, so I had to wait & ask them to fill up my cup. *Food was getting cold. Went to get sauce....they were out of cups. Had to wait for them to refill. **Food was getting colder. Wanted pickles for the family (my 4 yr olds favorite part)....they were totally out of pickles. ***Food was now cold. Soupy mac-n-cheese & they forgot about our waffle fries until I kindly reminded them. And...at the end of our meal I went to get the kids ice cream cones...well low and behold - they were out of cones too!!! Sure did not appreciate the attitude from the young employee each time I had to ask them for something they were totally out of as mention above (and especially when she brought out our waffle fries they forgot about - wow, so unfriendly!). I also needed a refill on my ice tea, but didn't dare ask risking more unfriendly attitude. Good thing towards the end of my meal they got it fixed so I could actually get my own drink. Will we go again....probably...not a bad place where kids can eat free on Sundays. But we sure hope Dickey's takes reviews to heart & put more emphasis on friendly customer service...especially being a new business in Draper. We live in the area and were hoping for a great place to take the family. I sure hope we have a much different/better experience our next go around.

Terrible, awful, hideous...need I go on? Ordered the rib plate and proceeded to have literally the most disgusting food. Ribs were dry, tasted like they were cooked weeks ago, and full of fat...rancid fat. Will never, ever, in a million years, not even if this was the last place on earth, will I be back. And completely over-priced to add to the misery. Save yourself some time (and your taste buds will thank you) and go directly to Rib City in American Fork.

This was my first visit to Dickey's and it was better than I expected for a chain restaurant. There are some good local small business options for BBQ so I was a little worried going in. I went with a 2 meat plate and got the chopped brisket and the pulled pork. The meat was not bad. it needs the sauce. The spicy sauce and the sweet one were my favorites. The roll that came with the meal was really good. I bet Dickey's will do well in this location and Utahn's will rave about the BBQ. I have a hard time calling it real BBQ but it is still better than McDonalds or something.
