This place was ok. The food was decent but not outstanding, prices were average but the service was excellent! Gave our waitress Kelsie a hard time about not having Hellwingz challenge and she was a good sport about it!!

Not a huge fan. I have been disappointed with the sauce...the sauce is what really makes a pizza for me, and I have continually found their sauce to be quite bland. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant is lacking. But the customer service is awesome-their employees are always friendly, funny, and helpful.

The best pizza! The four cheese specialty is the single greatest thing I've ever put in my mouth. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

Easily the best pizza in Davis County. Maybe even further out than that. Get pep, green olives, jalapeños, and extra sauce. You can thank me later.

If you've written a bad review for this place, or decided you don't like it: go get their calzone. If you still don't like it you are obviously crazy. Is it the best gourmet certified Italian style pizza in the world? No.. It doesn't need to be. It's fresh, delicious, hand tossed pizza made by a couple of local dudes, all they do is make pizza. They don't have cheese in the crust, they don't make square pizza or any other gimmicky thing that the major chains are doing. They make good honest pizza. I am sure this is what Domino's tasted like 30 years ago. You pay a tiny bit more because it's not a frozen big box pizza, deal with it, It will make you feel better to support the little guy. If you are the owner of Zeponie and you are reading this, I miss your pinball machine. That is why you only get 4 stars... (lol) but seriously... pinball is the greatest thing ever.

I went here today after seeing the reviews for it. The staff was extremely nice and the food was really good. It was really really really buttery and oily, but if that isn't your jam, you could always do the old napkin trick and soak it up. The food was really filling. The atmosphere was excellent, it has vinyl covers and some vinyl covering every square inch of that place. I will definitely go back.

We wanted to try some local pizza, we had it delivered to our house, it was delicious, a little pricey, but worth it. Definitely going to get it again!

Just moved to Bountiful last week. Stopped by for a pizza and wow is this place good. The pizza was very good and the crust is amazing. We ordered the bread sticks and they are delivered hot and buttery. The salads are a good size; home made dressings would have made them great. I can recommend this funky place for pizza. Next time the wings.

This has to be the best pizza in the area. It's never too greasy, so you don't feel like a sack of crap after eating it. Aside from that deliciousness, the breadsticks are definitely a must. Try them!

I just can't get enough of their pizza! Before trying them I had a very childish pizza palate and only liked my cheese or pepperoni . I LOVE their combination but no one elses! We get their combo every Friday night!

Went for lunch, got the one slice and four bread sticks with a drink, a lot of food for about six bucks. The pizza was OK if you like cold pizza. I got the BBQ chicken which came with chicken and pineapple and BBQ sauce. Bread sticks were warmed a bit and had too much butter on them. The problem with the lunch slice option is they have no way to have all the pizzas available and no way to keep the pizza hot (or warm). Not sure how their hot fresh pizza is but the lunch option certainly did not provide me with the "Best Pizza in Utah" that was boldly advertised in huge letters on the front of the building. Based on what I got they wouldn't rank in the top 20 pizzas in Utah. If you are looking for a mediocre quick pizza lunch at a reasonable price this could work for you.

Screaming baby special!! Do you like screaming babies? Do you want to watch the life drain slowly from the eyes of the poor, abused staff? Then, come on down to Zeponie Pizza! Sit in a sticky booth designed for your oversized family. Have 14 children? No problem! Take a gander at the walls...are those movie soundtracks? No way! They're Laser Discs! Remember when Laser Discs were popular for 15 minutes in the 90's? In all honesty, the food here is OK and the staff is very nice. I came in and was greeted by very friendly people. But, then I sat in horror and watched this family with 900 kids absolutely destroy the place. Screaming babies, toddlers running under our booth table, food flying around. When they finally left, I saw a young busboy stand before the destruction they'd left behind with a look on his face I can only describe as "shell shock." I mean, did you see "Saving Private Ryan?" It was like the beach scene. The poor kid; he sucked it up, took a deep breath, and dove in without complaining. I wanted to give that boy a medal.

I love a good philly cheese steak pizza, so I went with an 8" philly cheese steak and half order of bread sticks. It was a good pizza. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I just got a cheese or pepperoni. The cheese and crust was great. The center of the pizza crust was soggy, but dry on the edges. I'd rate the pizza itself 3 stars. But, the super cool staff and really great bread sticks bring it up to a 4. Pizza by the slice available M-F only.

Um...yum! After years and years of ignoring this dive-y little pizza joint, I asked the family if they wanted to try something new. Pizza was on my radar, big time. We walked in and were greeted by a very nice young man behind the counter. Another step in the door and we were blown away by the laser disc covers adorning every square inch of the walls. Okay, weird and outdated, but made for nearly an hour of entertainment while we ate. Oh yes, we ate! We kept it simple. Cheese pizza, one Philly cheesesteak sandwich and just as we were ordering a half order of bread sticks a passing customer hollered, "Get the whole order, you'll regret it later if you don't!" He couldn't have been more right! Buttery, garlicky goodness perfect with dipping sauce (ranch or marinara, we opted for both at an extra cost.) The pizza was simple, the crust was delicious, the sauce had perfect spice and topped with a little crushed red pepper flake it made for a very good slice. Hubby scarfed down the sandwich before I even had a chance to ask what he thought. Everything was thoroughly satisfying, the service was great and the leftover pizza reheated beautifully the next day. I love to support little locally owned places like Zeponie. They are consistently delicious. Check out their lunch specials, they are a great deal. Support local!

Pizza is pretty good, best you will find in the area. Kind of expensive compared to other pizza places, but you are paying for better pizza, and the selection is somewhat decent compared to others.

The food was good, no service, you serve yourself. Food was overpriced. The cheesy breadsticks are delicious. The ranch is like fat free and cheap cuz it's disgusting. The hot wings are a little salty.

Fun atmosphere the walls are covered with old laser discs and record covers. The little z is a favorite of their pizzas. They also have great hot wings, bread sticks and calzones.

The number one pizza place in centerville! The fastest delivery ever(I do live close, but still it's fast) Easy to order food Great portions for the prices Many yummy appetizers It's not too greasy so you don't feel icky after eating. The only thing that needs improvement is the people answering the phone. It might not be intentional, but they always seem to be in a hurry and don't really sound like they want to talk to you. I just brush through my order hang up and wait for the good stuff.

Maybe, just maybe a slight edge over your typical crappy dominos or little Caesars. Service is on par with McDonald's. I didn't care much for the pizza. I got one of their speciality pies (the chicken Alfredo). The chicken was dry and tasteless and the Alfredo lacked any flavor total blah. The sausage pizza tasted exactly like little Caesars, dog food looking sausage and all. Atmosphere was kind of fun, my kids liked it, but they are trash compactors and will gladly stick sand or dirt in their mouth and chew that up as well. The staff stood around behind the counter talking about suing one of their customers for a bum check, kind of off putting. The price was expensive especially since you can get a similar yucky pizza for 5 bucks down the street. Not interested in going again.

My wife and I were looking for some pizza place for New Years Eve, we were about to go with the normal Papa Johns, but then I stumbled upon this little gem on Yelp. Went to there website online and checked out the specialties and then drove 5 minutes to Zeponies. When I got there it was a 35 minute wait on recieving the pizza, but I was willing to be patient from the previous Yelp reviews. We got half 4 cheese, and other half meatza, it was a large and it was delicious. The sauce was amazing, and the crust was perfect along with the toppings. We will definitely be going to Zeponies again!!!

We tried this place because of the high Yelp rating and it didn't disappoint. The Cheesesteak Pizza was loaded with cheese, and everything was fresh, including the dough which was soft and cooked to a perfect golden brown. The Caesar salad was crisp, the hot wings were a bit larger than average and drowning in sauce, and the mozzarella sticks were piping hot and stuffed. The best part? Discovering they offer free delivery, meaning they will now be our preferred at-home pizzeria. Check out their website for a $3 coupon. The owner said he bought the place 11 years ago and kept the name, due to its good reputation. If it ain't broken, don't try to fix it...

Very good pizza. The crust is fresh and the toppings taste like an actual pizzeria, as opposed to many of the big pizza chains. I like the fact that they actually put CHEESE on the pizza. A decent amount of good, stretchy cheese. There are a few signs in the place proclaiming it the best pizza in Utah. Period. I still think "The Pie" is better, and a couple others are easily just as good, but again, very good Pizza. This is really minor, and probably is a product of my being used to buying cheap crappy pizza, but it does seem a little expensive. Hmmm...I'll have to ponder that a bit more. We ordered two large (14") specialty pizzas for carryout, and with tax it came to a little more than $32. Really, I shouldn't complain; there are precious few really good pizza places around here, and this is one of them.

Zeponie is the poster child for neighborhood pizza joints. It's got an unassuming location--close to to the suburban roofs and not in the middle of a shopping mecca, funky decor, dedicated employees and a loyal clientele. Add in their own hot wing food challenge and you've got the perfect recipe for neighborhood pizza charm. I was recently in Centerville to see some friend and pulled up the Yelp app to look for a place to eat. When I suggested Zeponie they seemed bit skeptical. They live within walking distance but hadn't ever considered it for a meal. Putting faith in my fellow yelpers, we loaded up the car and drove the point-zero-something miles to Zeponie. It was cold outside, and they have a toddler. Walking wasn't an option. After walking in and being greeted by the nice teen behind the counter we looked over a menu and saw a simple selection of pizzas with a few interesting additions. They've also got appetizers (eggrolls? really?), calzones, breadsticks, wings, and a brownie bite dessert. I built my own (a better deal than ordering one of their specialty pizzas, in my case) and sat down to wait for the pizza. I have to mention the decor. Above the chair rail, all the way up the the ceiling and all the way around the place is plastered with old vinyl jackets. They're not organized perfectly, but there are clouds of related content hovering together--comedians near the entrance, Beatles in a frame, old rock on the near wall. No explanation is given. No cheesy menu tie-ins (order "The Record" and take it for a spin!). Just record jackets. The pizza came out and I was pleased. They're not reinventing the pizza here, but they're not claiming to do that, either. They do take pride in their pies which are normal crust, cheesy, above average pizzas. No complaints. We tried four pizzas: a veggie concoction, a simple cheese, a sausage and olive, and the BBQ chicken. I'd recommend any of them. I'm a sucker for food challenges, but the one kind that I won't even attempt are the "so hot you'll squat fire for a week" kind. No thanks. Spiceaholics take not: they have a "Hellwing Challenge" here where the poor challenger must eat 10 covered in Satan's pit-sweat, in five minutes. Win and you get a t-shirt and your photo on the board. Lose and you get added to the loser tally, currently at 24. I was totally pleased with my experience. Really solid food experience, chilled atmosphere, neighborhood vibe. Triumph.

Tried the Philly cheesesteak pizza and was not impressed. Meat is distributed sparingly and pieces are small. Sauce is bland. Cheese is scarce. A medium cost over $16 and tasted cheap. The Pie does a great job with Philly cheesesteak, big chunks of steak and an excellent sauce. Even dominos does the Philly better. This was bland and disappointing. Dough was too chewy, especially the crust. With low expectations, it's probably going to be fine for you. But if you're looking for a great quality pizza, this isn't it. Perhaps their signature Big Z is better?? I won't be returning to find out though. Wish I would've made the extra drive to get a Pie cheesesteak...or gone to dominos one minute up the street.

I must admit, we went by for pizza because we were in the area and yelped to find a great local pizza place. There was a great vintage car in the parking lot and it looked busy, so we were hopeful. Not sure why a vintage car would give us hope...but it did. Our hopes were dashed. So disappointed. NOT amazing and NOT great. The best thing about this place is the crazy amount of album covers which cover the walls.. The place could use a thorough cleaning as well. Don't waste your time or your money.

Pretty good pizza. I really like the "local" feel of the shop. The garlic bread was super yummy - and also super greasy. I hate to admit it but their pizza tastes EXACTLY like Costco's pizza. Soft crust, same taste. Costco's is pretty good too though, so it's alright.

  • Sage K.

Tried this place the other night. All I can say is the crust reminds me of a overpriced little Caesars. The cheese tasted like it was found in the back of the fridge. My recommendation is save your price and drive south to Costco or anywhere else. Overpriced poor quality.

What a great place to celebrate boys winning water polo state. Pizza was yummy and service timely. Went from being empty at 9:00 pm to slammed. Thanks to yelp we called ahead and many had food ready and waiting.

YES YES YES, Zepone is great !!! Delivery or dine in, it's an experience. Take some quarters for Flash Gordon (the last pinball machine on the planet). Love the place, love the pizza.

Simple. Amazing pizza, great prices and not a lot of hoopla to worry about. They deliver or if you want to eat there, it is all good. Not a great place to take a prom date or impress your significant other's parents (see Arellas for that), but if you want amazing pizza at a stellar price, hit these guys up.

  • Darci R.

This little place is AMAZING! Although most of their business is delivery, there is a small seating area....and I recently found out that their pizza is really good delivered, but it is INCREDIBLE straight from the oven! I highly suggest you dine in! (And you can choose a few tunes on the jukebox and play some pinball while you're waiting for your pizza!) The pizza at Zeponie is the BEST! They use all very fresh ingredients and are extremely generous with the cheese! YUMMY! Their calzones are HUGE (enough for two!) and all their prices are more than reasonable (a calzone, which includes your choice of 3 ingredients, is just a little over $7.00!!! SO worth it!). They also have fresh breadsticks, salads, spaghetti, wings, poppers and even some great desserts! This is a place that concentrates on quality food and making sure they stay in good standing with the local crowd. They are appreciative of their customers and do things right to make sure people keep coming back! I'm impressed and know you will be too! If you're in Centerville, make sure to give Zeponie Pizza a try!
