A good restaurant for pitstopping. Like the window says, while it looks like a fast food joint, it really isn't. I had the chef salad, which had romaine lettuce, pecans, canned mandarin oranges, and cranberries. I had the vinaigrette on the side which was nice and sweet. Good and plentiful. Also tried the grilled chicken panini which also pretty tasty. Tater tots and fries pretty standard. I felt prices were about a dollar or two more than they should have been. I didn't get to try their ice cream, but it was tempting considering they have many flavors. Traditional flavors and candy bars.
Absolutely awful! We called our order in and they told us twenty minutes. We arrived twenty minutes later and waited ANOTHER thirty minutes. The carbonation AND the ice were out.. $35 dollars, a cold hamburger and a melted shake later, it was a cold disappoint.
Burgers and fries here are excellent and even more so when you're considering where you are. The ice cream and shakes looked pretty good too; but we were too full to try them. Perhaps the next time.

There are not many choices in this area but we certainly enjoyed our dinner here tonight. We had a hamburger and the veggie sandwich in fry bread. Absolutely have the hot biscuits with the homemade jam. These were brought to our table before the meal. The service was prompt and friendly. The food came out quickly even though it was a Saturday night and the restaurant was busy.
Considering that the only other places to eat in Blandings tonight are A&W and Subway, this is a very decent choice (and very busy too). We had a Navajo Taco and a vegetarian sandwich on fry bread. The flavors were good, the portions ample, and prices reasonable. It's billed as a steak house but they have a wide variety of choices. Service was prompt and pleasant. Four stars would be pushing it, although maybe not for this little burg.
Full disclosure: This is my mother-in-law's restaurant. That being said, I wouldn't slam it, but if I had an issue with it, I also wouldn't dare review it (I know how to keep peace in the family). We live in Seattle and were down visiting for the weekend. It was the first time we had seen their new addition and it's a beautiful and flexible space that I think will be a benefit to the community. She can shut the doors and offer private dining space for family or community groups. The salad bar is fresh and tasty. Her krab and pasta salad is made right in the restaurant (I asked because it didn't taste like the stuff you usually get from a salad bar) using their house-made ranch dressing. And, she knows her way around a Navajo Taco! The beans are made in-house and the fry bread is light and fluffy and easy to cut (unlike my pathetic attempts to make it at home that resulted in bread-like floor tiles). If you don't want fry bread, you can ask to have the bread grilled (ask for Ash Bread). I've never had it that way, though. I always get a Navajo Taco because no one makes them in Seattle. We DID have her home-made jam for breakfast at their home one morning and it's delicious. Who makes home-made jam for their restaurant??? She does (as well as the biscuits - which I really need to try next time). Hey, it's Blanding, I know. But, it's also good down-home cooking that would expect from a local small town restaurant.

A very clean and convenient store with amenities that can picked up in one stop. Clean restrooms, bowling alley, gas station and an A&W joint. Surprised to see Krispy Kreme donuts !
I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Took 5 minutes to take order and figure out which credit card they would accept. Originally they thought they were supposed to give me money rather then charge me for the food. Now I think they knew it was going to take 30 minutes to get our food so they felt bad and wanted to pay me instead.
Four of us stopped here this trip and the only thing good is their root beer freezes, though I asked for mine extra thick and it is extremely thin. Ordered chicken fingers, grilled chicken club, and crispy chicken club with sides of fries and a side of cheese curds. Everything fried was disgusting. I think it may be the oil. We only ate a couple of bites of the cheese curds and the chicken fingers and crispy chicken club. Ate about half of the grilled chicken club. Pulled off the bacon and ate that. The fries were okay, but not great. There are flies everywhere, here, too--in the dining area and flying out from the kitchen area. We ate here a year ago with the same disappointing result. We had hoped it was a fluke and decided to try it again in hopes of a good, quick meal. We won't be stopping here again. (The wait for your food is incredibly long, too.)
