Chick-fil-A

Reviews:
I'm a Chick-fil-A fan. I love their chicken strips and waffle fries. The service at any location is consistently good, friendly, and accurate. The food is consistently good. I'm always impressed.
Lines wrapped around the entire building absolutely ridiculous. If you order a coffee expected to take 30 extra additional minutes all around sloppy service. I would think twice before coming here
This Chick-fil-A location is great! The employees have great attitudes and ask if they can give you free refills on drinks. The food is great and the restaurant is very clean. I see them at school helping with fundraisers. I have read some other reviews with complaints about the long line. Although there drive thru line gets long at times, they have employees outside taking orders and getting your food ready before you drive up to the speaker. The wait isn't that long. I work down the road and find it to be a great place to get lunch.

Reviews:
I'm not too big of a fan of Starbucks in the first place (CBTL fo' life, ese) but this place was open early. There was a long line when I entered. The cashier who took my order seemed a little loopy when my boyfriend and I asked for frappucinos with extra shots of espresso. When we received our drinks, the extra shots of espresso were sitting on top of blended ice. Hell-to-the NO. The rating system is right: I've had better!
We used to get our Starbucks fix from inside a Target where we used to live. We hardly ever went to a standalone Starbucks which has all the choices that a Target Starbucks doesn't. In any case, our orders are pretty simple (hot chocolate with a pump of caramel or a white hot chocolate with cinnamon). Last time we got a white hot chocolate with cinnamon the employee punched it in as a dark chocolate hot chocolate with 2 pumps of white chocolate and 2 pumps of cinnamon dulce de leche. When the barista asked to clarify if hubby had ordered a dark chocolate or tan chocolate drink we were confused. The drink was not at all what he had ordered but we still have no idea how we didn't order it correctly when we've always ordered it that way and gotten something very different.
Could really use a drive thru! But it's Starbucks yummy coffee, love the caramel crunch frapp!

Second time coming here, we got an elote (Mexican corn), a carne asada burrito and a Chile verde burrito. The carne asada burrito was really good, the elite was awesome! The Chile verde burrito had good spice but the meat was really dry. Probably won't get that again. We really like this place overall
As far as Mexican goes, this is among the best you'll find in Utah County. Its a divey place that shares a parking lot with JDawgs. It is a casual establishment and the service won't be the friendliest but it draws a large lunch crowd and there is plenty of seating. The al pastor and carne asada are popular and delicious. They serve fresh tasty chips with every meal and they have 5 different salsas to choose from. Some of these are genuinely hot and spicy. The food I've had has always been delicious and the portions are large and filling. The only disappointment I had during my latest visit was that they were completely out of Dr. Pepper in the soda machine. Apparently Im not the only one who loves some Dr. Pepper with mi comida. Also, there is almost always futbol playing on their two tv screens, so this can be a plus if youre into Mexican or English soccer.
Excellent Mexican food that rivals Mexico City and Cancun! We eat here at least once a week! Delish!!!

Food was great! Just a little pricey for us cheapskates. But definitely yummy and filling!
I love this hole in the wall, super awesome chicken wing shack! They're a little more pricey than other places such as wing nutz or buffalo wild wings, but wayyyy worth it. These wings are huge. Honestly, I would say they're about twice the size as what you would find at those other wing places. I recall paying about $6 for 5 wings. Trust me you don't need any more than that. It's just nice to have a small quite sports wing place. I think they could seat about 30 people. They have a pretty good lunch combo deal. About $10 for 5 wings, a medium drink, and a side. Love the Spicy Garlic wings! Apparently, they also have a 12 hot wing challenge, which it seems a lot of people complete. Wish they were open on Sundays, but I understand no one wants to work on Sundays.
These are by far my favorite wings in Utah. The XX Hot Garlic on a boneless wing might be as good as a wing gets, for me. Like someone else said, crispy tots, great fry sauce, and a bevy of wing sauces make this great. A brief word on the salads. Same have said they don't like them, I've never actually eaten them, but my friends who go there weekly swear by them. I figure at some point, when I'm tired of wings (which will never happen) I'll try a salad. Ownership gets a big thumbs-up from me. We went in as a group, and asked them to change the channel to a soccer game that was on during lunch, as we didn't want to go to the big chain wing place in Lehi, and they were more than happy to let us eat our food and then contentedly spend 2 hours watching the game. This may become my favorite non-sports bar, sports bar.

This place is down there and it is PO DUNK! But...they put the Knicks game on for me when I asked and that made me oh so happy. Women there who probably had sons my age were hitting on me and as gross as it is it made me feel good. The servers were kind and helpful and people there seemed to be friendly and talkative. No problems with this place, so ball out girl scout.

Probably the cleanest Arbys around. Definitely better tasting than the one in front of Walmart. The staff was friendly and the food was fresh. The only reason I did not give them a five star is that I over heard the manager asserting her authority over another employee. I understand the need for it in some situations, but never in front of customers.

Where is the first place you'd go after running marathon? For me the answer is In and Out, which is exactly what we did. We were immediately created by our young, friendly cashier Gauge. He took our order, asked how our day way going, and with that simple question seemed to go above and beyond the job. When my husband told him I had just run a marathon, he said, "and you're only going to eat one burger?" We each got the classic cheeseburger animal style. Is there any other way? The burgers looked as heavenly as they tasted. The fries fresh and crisp. Closed the mea with a black and white shake. It's the kind of shake you have to work for...thick and creamy. A total successful In and Out trip, but aren't they always???
Best fast food ever! It's always fresh, never frozen. The meat is REAL, actual, beef! The fries come in the back door as REAL potatoes and are then transformed. Compared to the other national fast food chains, there is no contest. This is real food, instead of Franken-Food! Yum!
Grease, grease, and more grease!!! For real though, if you want to be fat and gain a lot of weight go to McDonalds at least the food tastes better.

Pyromaniacs Pizza

Reviews:
With all the attention focused on a certain Korean BBQ food truck, the classic pizza gets forgotten about, but Pyromanics makes sure we don't forget and we keep coming back for more. Margherita and Pesto Pepperoni pizzas came out quick, hot, and just the right size to satisfy our dinner cravings. Ingredients were fresh, dough was light and cooked just right in their onboard pizza oven. Definitely a great option to consider the next time you're at an event or food truck roundup. I'll gladly wait in line again to try some of their more creative options that looked pretty good coming out of the oven.
Decent pizza but im big on experience. And mine wasnt great. Recently tried this at the Real game pavilion area. Again experience, dinner before the game unlimited food and drinks. Went to try this only to have an outside employee bugging me to mark up my wristband, why I have no idea its unlimited and if its good ill come back for another slice so why are you buggin me to mark up my wristband. The guy didn't seem to know either. Not to mention im here for convenience not to be bothered by some food truck worker. Put your marker away and serve the food I paid for.
Yum, yum! I tried the Thai Chicken Pizza at the food truck round-up in Pleasant Grove. Crust was thick and crunchy. Great tangy sauce. Topped with chicken, fresh cilantro, carrots and bean sprouts. Good sized pizza for 10 bucks.

Gandolfo’s New York Deli

362 E State Rd
American Fork, 84003
Reviews:
Gandolfo's is a great little subway-style sandwich shop. They have an impressive variety of offerings--some hot, some cold, some either way--and I've enjoyed everything I've ever eaten here. One of my favorites, though, are their breakfast sandwiches (which are served all day)--be sure to give them a try! The owner (Tad) is typically on site. He not only oversees the operation, but he'll probably be taking orders and/or building sandwiches at any given moment. He's a nice guy who genuinely seems to care about your satisfaction. Small restaurants seem to come and go quickly, but Gandolfo's has stood the test of time. It is definitely worth the visit.
I love their knuckle sandwiches soooo gooood this location is always been good for me and never had any issues with this location they've always been friendly nice and willing to help and go the extra mile probably one of my favorite things about this is that they don't skimp on the meet like other sandwich companies do then try to charge you 2 3 bucks just to get a decent amount of me
It's alright for what it is. For my taste the bread was bland and bready. Thick, doughy white bread. I had the Empire State. 498 calories, and 64 grams of carbs. That's 50% more carbs than a Subway sandwich, and that has to all be in the bread. The price is also an issue. For $10 it's a bit overpriced.

DP Cheesesteaks

933 W 500 N
American Fork, 84003
Reviews:
They have a cheese steak made with bleu cheese! Are you listening to me!? Gracious me, I'm getting all flustered. I'm just saying that if you moved an ordinary sandwich to the far end of a checkerboard and shouted "King Me!", something delicate yet noble like the bleu cheese steak might appear. The "Whiz Steak" is also a happy-factory, manufacturing delight in the convenience of your mouth. Oh, and I nearly forgot the Garlic Cheese steak. Heavens to Betsy! I'm also partial to the pastrami, which is quite solid (when kept below 611 degrees Fahrenheit). If pressed for a response, I'd have to say my favorite thing about their sandwiches is the taste.
We really enjoyed our food at DP Cheesesteaks, but we thought that everything was rather pricey. (We wiped out a $25 gift card in one visit.) The atmosphere was nothing special, but did I mention that we really liked the food?
For a Utah cheesesteak DPs isnt too bad. I have read cheesesteak reviews on different sites out here (Utah) and a lot of people use Pats and Jenos steaks in Philly as a comparison. I have to laugh because the only people who go to Pats or Jenos in Philly are tourists or the drunks who were up partying all night and those are the only cheesestak places open 24/7. They are the McDonalds of the cheesesteak retailers in Philly. You need to go into the mom and pop places in the neighborhoods to get the best cheesesteaks. Does Taco Bell have the best mexican food in Utah? Of course not. Sorry I got off track on my review, DP steaks are a good sandwich. It isnt a good authentic cheesesteak but it is still flavorful. The meat isnt quite right, it is more like roastbeef instead of ribeye. I have been searching Utah for the best cheesesteak since I moved here from back east 2 years ago. Moochies wasnt bad when I first got out here but have really been lousy the last 3 times I went there and I vowed never to go back. So far the best I have found ( I am always open to suggestions) is a new place in Orem called CheeZsteaks. His menu needs some tweaking but he has the meat, cheese and roll are pretty darn close to a authentic cheesesteak and that is what a good cheesesteak is all about, all the toppings and condiments used are just a distraction of what a cheesesteak should be.
