Georgee's is in a little center where a few businesses have not lasted very long. I'm hoping this one is to stay! The establishment is spacious, well ventilated and the people are very friendly. There is some decor that matches the Baja theme and then some random stuff that has you wonder "How does this go together?" Lol. It's not a bad thing, just keeps you visually busy. There are tvs in there and they'll usually have the game on for you. The food is good, they have several styles of fish that you can pick from. They also serve chicken and steak, not just shrimp and fish tacos/burritos. What's offered are combos which are taco/enchilada/burrito combinations. Platters consist of fish, shrimp, enchiladas, or seafood mix with rice and beans, have soups, salads, fryer food and ceviche, or items a la carte. They have this awesome salsa bar! It doesn't look like much, but i find myself getting everything from it when I come. They have grilled onions, pickled onions, standard ol' limes, cilantro, pico and a few salsas. There is this one light green salsa that is SOOOOOO GOOD!! It's spicier than the other two even though it "looks" like a more relax sauce. NOT! Georgee's serve beer! I love this place and I'm so glad it's one of the things near my house, because there ain't much around here.

First, the customer was impeccable. The staff was incredibly friendly. Secondly, they're nacho fries were amazing. An abundance of liquid queso, huge amounts of carne asada. Very well made. They also had a sort of Mediterranean yogurt topping that really made their fish tacos unique and craving for more.

There fish tacos are as good as the ones I had in Cali! Except you get a choice of how the seafood is prepared - blackened, baja (fried), or Hawaiin. This restaurant is the healthiest & tastiest alternative in the Bear Creek area! George & his staff always provide friendly service.

I really love this place. Great service, the greatest food, my favorite "el gober shrimp tacos" Just perfect!!!

This place is GREAT!!Being from San Diego California I am extremely picky with my fish/shrimp tacos. These are Exactly what u expect to get from Ensenada or Rosarito Baja California and the shrimp are huge and fresh! Fish tacos were Wahoo and tasted so fresh. This is a MUST, they also have micheladas we had a Model Especial- yumm! My hubby got the Wet Burrito with Georgee shrimp that was monster size with quality ingredients.....so delicious. We shared a shrimp tostada and they are made authentic (cooked in lime juices) Baja style also fresh and piled high with shrimp. All for $30, well worth it since they don't cheap out on anything. Definitely will be coming here often. FOOD IS BETTER THAN BERRYHILL :o

Best Mexican food I've found in Houston!! As a native San Diegan, I've been searching high and low to find good, quality, authentic Mexican food in Houston. I am so happy I stumbled upon this place! Their fish tacos are the best I've had in the city, shrimp tacos are delicious, carne asada is amazing...I could go on. Even brought my family here (also from San Diego) and they loved it! The customer service is also wonderful! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, great food - this is definitely my new spot!

Got the taco combo, it was fresh and tasted great! Everything is home made and it really shows. This is my new spot for sure.

This establishment looked fairly new because I noticed the cleanliness of this place. Walking in, we were greeted by a young lady at the register. We ordered: Mexican soda, Iced tea, Nacho fries with carne asada, 2 Taco combo, and Chicken salad. Nacho fries with carne asada (5/5): These fries were amazing! A MUST try at Georgees! The fries are topped with cheese, guacamole, sour cream, onions! You can add more onions, cilantro, and pico de gallo to the fries by going to the salsa bar. 2 taco combo: I won't comment because I only sampled a small bite of my friends taco. Chicken salad (bowl): Served with fresh grilled chicken, rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole. I added the hot green sauce from the salsa bar to the salad. The salad was fresh and definitely was a heathy option. Adding pico de gallo to the salad gave it a lot of flavor. The salsa bar was clean and the ingredients were super fresh! I was impressed by the salsa bar because most places don't know how to keep it clean! This might be random but the restroom was really clean! I can't stand places that don't keep their restrooms clean for their patrons. Georgees, you have impressed me with your food, service, and clean restrooms! My friend found a groupon deal for this establishment. I have to say the groupon deal was worth the money! We saved a good $7-8 bucks. Overall, I will return for more of their fries and other items on the menu!

Nacho french fries with carne asada is huge and delicious. We got it to share among the 4 of us and my husband ate it so fast, we could hardly get some. I was also a little embarrassed that he ate from the basket instead of putting it on his plate. The man in the front was helpful with what popular tacos to order. I got the blackened fish (which had the texture of chicken- almost) and garlic and butter shrimp. I liked the shrimp better. If you get corn tortillas, they don't double shell it and it will fall apart.

The disappointment struggle is REAL! Came in here because of all the hype on yelp. The place is only 2 min away from my crib, so I was anxious to see what they have to bring to the table. The service was pretty good. That is why I gave it 2 stars. I couldn't find it in my heart to give them the remaining stars due to my cold shrimp tacos, beans, rice and carne asada Nacho fries. The nacho fries are really lame. The cheese taste like movie theater nachos and the meat tasted like a Taco Bell collaboration lol. If you like Taco Bell and fajita willies you'll love this place. :l

My god, why isn't this place PACKED??? Food is head & shoulders above the other Latin restaurants in this area. Try the coctel de camarron, ANY of the tacos, AND the homemade WONDERFUL flan. Please come save this fabulous west Houston find before it goes under.

I was looking for a fast delicious spot to grab lunch and I couldn't have found a better place! The boyfriend and I were determined to try their fish tacos because they claim to be best and trust me they did NOT disappoint! The lady at the counter was very nice and our tacos came out quick and tasted amazing. We were in and out in less than 15 mins which was perfect! Oh and btw they do 2 for $5 tacos! Definitely worth the $5. I couldn't even finish both after having chips and salsa. (granted i eat like a bird) None the less, definitely recommend you give them a try!

Another restaurant with my most sought after Californian delicacy, Carne Asada Fries. They call it Nacho Fries, which makes it sound like there should be funnel cake somewhere nearby. It's not on the regular menu, and was written on the daily specials board up by the cash register, so I'm not sure if it'll be a permanent thing. I think it was $5.99, not that bad of a price. It's an slight improvement from Mario's carne asada fries on 1960, but not by much. Georgee's hand cuts their fries, which is...interesting. It has all the standard toppings of carne asada, guac, sour cream, and pico. What makes it "Nacho" is the addition of nacho cheese and refried beans. I just... I just don't know why. Why do all these people think it is necessary to put nacho cheese on carne asada fries. This ain't no Wendy's chili cheese fries. The hand cut fries were limp due to being fried only once instead of the standard double fry, which is what makes fries crispy. They were a little heavy handed on the salt, when it really could've done without any extra salt because of all the toppings. The carne asada was good and surprisingly plentiful, they piled that shit on. Everything else was standard. Nacho cheese only made the soggy fries even soggier. Could easily be fixed with a double fry of the fries, less salt and the nacho cheese/refried beans on the side. Also tried out the carne asada burrito, which was good, albeit kind of small and really full of rice for $7.50. I could get something double the size at Chipotle for around that much. The salsa bar is pretty good. Love the salsa verde and the pico. Also appreciate the limes, onions and cilantro. There are also red/green salsas, and pickled carrots, peppers and onions, which are very much appreciated. I really think I need to come back and try their fish/shrimp menu items..afterall that's what they say they specialize in. It's even written on the storefront sign, "World's best fish and shrimp tacos." You'd think the first thing I'd try there is a fish taco, but the rebel in me had to go for beef. Next time!

My first visit and last. I didn't really want to come and try this place out, but a coupon insisted. I just want to say it's nothing that I expected at all. Interesting modern twist on a Latin/Seafood place rolled into one. Mind you, I yelped right upon arriving as I got a weird vibe about it. Onto the ordering. When you walk in you go straight up to the counter to order. Menu is hung behind up high and a specials of the day on a white board. The cashier/at the counter young man asked if it was our first time and we responded 'Yes' he then told us 'Well let me just tell you, our food is delicious!' (This is where I got the weird vibe and had to Yelp! It) But anyways, We ordered the following Georgee's Salad Bowl or bowl something of that nature, Shrimp Ceviche with chips, a Chicken tender basket, and fish tacos. Quite a bit of food, as we like to be adventurers and try many things. You get to choose where you sit, and it was quite spacious. We went during dinner time at around 6:00pm so we expected more diners, but that was not the case. Wide seating area so you can choose anywhere really. Inside it is pretty open and huge for something that looked so small on the outside. Atmosphere was nice and clean, and themed in a boat/yacht style. Right by the drinks is a little condiment type bar (help yourself) it contains some pico de gallo, some pickled veggies, and other things. I didn't grab from here only read some of the things I recognized. They bring your food to you versus the sit and wait or you pick up your order. Our plates started to arrive and presentation was nice, but I don't mind presentation all that much. The quality of food is what I look for. Shrimp ceviche was good, but not what I pictured in my mind when it arrived to the table. It was decent size for price a one person deal or two possibly. Chicken Tenders tasted like fish, perhaps they use the same oil/frying so it made sense. It was good and it was prepared like fried fish so it through my kids for a curve ball. Lol. Georgee's Bowl presented well, and tasted good the meat was my only complaint as it was tough and not as good quality. Lacking flavor in the meat but I guess could be easily masked by the other ingredients in the bowl. Fish tacos were delicious, although I have never had fish tacos before they were good, missing something, but couldn't put my finger on it. Overall service was nice and friendly checked on us twice while sitting and of course food was not up to par for a seafood in my opinion. Maybe you'd like it for a quick in and out lunch for a change of pace. It was halfway there hopefully better quality food and I may come back.

This may not be fair. But first impressions do count for something, and ours was NOT good. I had GBG bookmarked based on the high ratings on Yelp, coupled with its proximity to where we live. Mind you, it's a Friday night, wife and I both had a long week, ready to unwind with good drinks and good food. This whole experience, which lasted 10 minutes or so felt very awkward. When you walk in, the"feel" of the place just wasn't there, hard to explain. A "corporate" fake type thing...anyway, there is a long counter with their full menu on the wall behind the counter, so to me, this implies that it's the type of place where you walk up to the counter, look at said posted menu, and order....when we walked in, a girl looked at us, said nothing, then she walked behind this counter, implying to us that we needed to approach the counter, peruse the menu, and order there. We were looking up at the menu, trying to decide....she then said we didn't order there, gave us two small paper phamplet menus and a table number card and told us to have a seat. We chose a table and sat with our number in the holder stand. First, only beer here, be aware of that. If you miss happy hour, that regular domestic beer will cost you $4. We checked out the options...and checked some more...the ONE waitress (7pm, Friday night) spent literally 6-7 minutes at a nearby table going back and forth, back and forth with this family about their order, getting an extra enchilada, blah blah blah...there are not a lot of options on this menu, can't be too hard. Also, the place is NOT busy, maybe 5 tables total...were sitting there a good 5-6 minutes...Anyway, she FINALLY finished with them, and we're thinking great! We're close! Nope, even though she had to walk past us to go place the order or whatever, no eye contact, no greeting, no "hi folks, I'll be right with you"....nada. At that point, I set the timer on my phone for 3 minutes later, and said if the timer goes off before were greeted, we're out of here. Frankly, I was hoping that's what would happen.... Expensive beers, generic corporate fake environment, lackadaisical service.... "Bing" times up! Oh darn! So, we get up, walk toward the door, and you guessed it....slipped out unnoticed. First time, last time.

Tried this place for the first time after seeing the rave reviews....glad we did. Inside of the restaurant was very spacious and clean. The owner's daughter was at the cashier & she was very helpful with answering our questions about the menu. Food came out pretty fast. Fish tacos were really tasty. Loved the Hawaiian style (pineapple) relish. Fish they use is Wahoo which is so much better than the usual tilapia. We will definitely be coming back here!

I really enjoyed my visit here today. I thought I would try this place out in connection with a restaurant.com certificate. This is not your typical Baja-style fish and shrimp taco place. After looking at the board (menu) for a few seconds, a gentleman (later discovered he was the owner) asked if we needed an explanation on the menu items. I asked the kind of fish and shrimp he used for the tacos, and he said wahoo and tiger shrimp. I did not expect that. I ordered each of the blackened, fried and fire grilled fish as well as the shrimp three ways. (There were three of us) The fish was very meaty with a good portion and balanced with the other ingredients. The shrimp was also tasty and plentiful for a taco. While you have a choice of flour or corn tortilla, I recommend the traditional corn. I also recommend ordering the white sauce on the side or at least "light sauce" as it may overshadow the fish or shrimp, in my opinion. Our favorite dishes were the shrimp bowl with Mexican rice and the shrimp taco made so it had melted cheese (can't recall the style, but absolutely sinful and tasty). It was obvious that the salsa bar was freshly made, and it was also obvious that this restaurant has great respect for the quality of all of the ingredients in their food. The staff was excellent as well. I feel guilty for not giving it a five star rating (as the others have for this new restaurant on Yelp), but I have to keep it real. This restaurant is excellent, top notch and exceptional when compared to other restaurants in the price range and decor. I may need to reconsider this restaurant after a few more visits, and I urge everyone to support this family restaurant.

I don't understand the recent bad reviews. We've been going to Georgee's twice a week for almost 9 months now. We have experienced & have seen 1st hand the excellent customer service Georgee & his staff give every person that comes through the doors. We have met other happy customers along the way. Every person that we take to Georgee's has a great time & enjoys the food.

Not sure what I missed about this place. It was ok, but really nothing exceptional. The ceviche didn't taste like "real" ceviche, meaning I suspect it was cooked fish/shrimp instead of "cooked" in the lime juice, I didn't even taste lime other than what I squeezed on top. It was super bland, no flavor to the tomatoes or onions; and not the freshest fish/shrimp I've had. The chips were good, I would eat those again. ha!

We found this place by driving by and decided to stop and test them on their claim to have the best fish tacos. I found the fish tacos delicious not sure if best ever but very good. What I really found appealing was that all the food we ordered was really good so we tried it several more times and each time everything we ordered was amazing. The one exception was the Chicken Nachos. The chicken was awful. Recommendations Fish Teryaki Bowl All their Tacos and the Fish Ceviche Avoid The Chicken

This place was great! Never tried it, but I got the 2 tacos and sides. (Shrimp, and steak) Mexican rice was amazing! The only thing about the shrimp taco was the ceviche, the texture was weird, so I really only ended up eating the shrimp. Which they aren't scare with, surprising. I'll definitely be back. They are inexpensive which is a plus!

B-dubs was packed, so I yelped and found Georgee's. This place is nice, but I think it's in a bad location. Aside from my friends and me, there was only one other table. There's plenty of room for big groups. There's a really good selection of beers, and they make pretty good micheladas. I had blackened fish tacos on corn tortilla. The salsa bar is fully packed with goodies: pico, onion, cilantro, green and red salsas, grilled onions and peppers, pickled stuff, and limes. All of which seemed decently fresh despite the slow business at the time. When my friend's tacos came out, I noticed some white sauce on top. I don't like sour cream, so I asked the girl at the front what it was. Sure enough, it's sour cream and mayonnaise. I asked her to leave it out if my tacos weren't made yet, and she told the chef. My tacos came out perfect to order! I cannot tell you how many times I've asked for no sauce or corn tortilla, yet I get sauce on flour. The tacos were also huge (as were my friends' burritos). They overflowed out of their tortillas. Next time, I might ask for some extra tortillas to split up the taco fillings. I had also asked for avocados, which they didn't charge me for. They were really fresh, and the restaurant didn't skimp out. Each taco came with 3 slices. The only thing that didn't make this place was that the fish wasn't quite seasoned enough. It was a little bland, but I guess that just leaves me to season to my liking. As for my friends, one got the carne asada fries, which were delicious and really inexpensive for the amount you get. One got Baja fish on flour tortillas, and he didn't like the tortillas. My corn tortillas were good though. Overall, I think this place is pretty great. It's just around the corner, and there are plenty of options. Food isn't amazing but good. It can be a great place to hang out and grab a beer while watching the game.

Super clean! Not the typical Mexican restaurant. Very nice & friendly young lady took our order patiently since we took a looong time contemplating what to order, lol. Their green salad was super fresh & yummy! We enjoyed shrimp taco more than our blackend fish taco, somehow. Nacho fries was such a huuuuge serving for me and hubs, but it was finger-licking good, with their green salsa.

I give this place a 3 my bf gives it a 5. Service was pretty good. The girl that served us was friendly and attentive. The food took a little while to come out, esp since its just tacos and we were the only ones there. I don't like fish or shrimp so I ordered a steak taco on flour tortilla and the nacho fries with steak. The taco was pretty good, tortilla was soft and fluffy (very clearly not made in store but still good) and the meat was soft. It tasted like a decent tex mex taco. The Salas were alright, nothing special but they tasted fine. The fries in the nacho fries were kind of soft for my taste and the carne asada by itself was kind of salty but if you eat it mixed with everything else (guac, sour cream etc) then its pretty balanced. It's not bad at all but I don't think I would come back. My bf got the fish tacos on corn tortillas, baja and fire grilled with the cilantro rice and black beans. He said they were really good and the beans and rice were great. The fish piece was quite large, filling up the entire taco. He really enjoyed it and definitely wants to come back whenever he has a craving for fish tacos. Edit: we went back. Bf really wanted the baja fish tacos again, said they were that good. The system was down so we couldn't pay by card and the manager offered to give us our to-go order for FREE and just pay next time we come. We've only been there twice so we were very surprised. We felt very strange about that so paid in cash but really appreciate that customer service.

Omg Im in love...had the Baja tacos were so good! Our order wasn't correct tho and I didn't get the blackened taco or corn tortillas we ordered, but what we did get was fantastic and I will be ordering there again. The kids got the regular order of chicken quesadillas, they were amazing and more than enough to split. The salsa bar was delish, the green sauces - both of them - were my fav!

After reading all the reviews, I decided to give this place a try. The customer service is a amazing, however, the food is mediocre. The tacos taste more like they came from a fast food place. Not impressed. The nachos are alright. The salsa bar is a good concept, but the flavor isn't really there. Id rather go to a taco stand and spend $30 for two.

Best fish and shrimp tacos I've ever had! I had the Baja beer battered fish taco and fire grilled shrimp taco, with fresh hand cut fries, chips and guacamole, fried shrimp and fish. This place is awesome! The food is authentic and the customer service is top notch. My company orders out daily and we just found our new favorite place. We ordered food from here tonight and will order again tomorrow. We each ordered different entrees and everybody absolutely loved their dish. Can't wait to try something new tomorrow. You can't go wrong with these guys. Highly recommend. Oh, and they have some awesome specials too. Taco Tuesdays! And how did I fail to mention the chips and salsa? I had to come back to update on the deliciousness. We've now been going here for the past 3 weeks and are still equally as obsessed. The chips though! Mmmmm! So fresh. The owner came to our business the other day and explained that his family owns a taqueria and that's where these chips come from. The chips and salsa are the best I've ever had. We always get a few bags with our large order. The owner also mentioned something about owning another restaurant in Mexico. So it goes to show this place is legit.

Very much a fan of this place. We go there in a large group for work and they do have trouble with larger tickets and groups at times. For smaller groups things go pretty smooth, we just totally slam with with 10-15 people all at once. As for the food, wow. All of the tacos are good and the fixin's are always super fresh. Great ceviche when it's available as well. Very highly recommend.

I love this place. My husband and I tried it for the first time and I must say the service was wonderful and the caldo de camarón was very tasty. The shrimp were deveined, most restaurants don't take the time to do that anymore. The over all quality of the food was great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Pro's It brings that family atmosphere... The girl at the register is the owners daughter, the young man seems to have that brother sister sense. The cook at times we been there pop there heads out the windows and knot a greeting our ways with a smile. The atmosphere is nothing less then welcoming. When finish ordering our meals I go to the table with all the salsas and accessories to the food. I admit I have not tasted pickled carrots since I was 10 and love the idea they have it on there taste bar. Brings back so many memories! I was told by the daughter that the owner makes all the salsas and pickled veggies every day himself I was happy to meet another business owner to take charge on every level at hand. When the young man deliveries our entrees the flavor on the air is exquisite, not to mention how satisfying is every bite! I have the grilled fish and shrimp. They come over to the table 2 or 3 times to make sure everything is okay, which is great if you need another drink. Since I have been going there I have seen nothing but sincerity from the entire staff. The inside is huge so you can pick anywhere to sit! They have TV's on the wall so if talk comes to a slow down you can watch a show while eating your meal. Love the staff's shirts specially what states on the back of them the words "Bite Me" lol Con's The decor is great but seems to miss something.

Love this place! Great food and super friendly family owned business. We've been here twice now and love it! I had the fish tacos and the teriyaki bowl. It is a super fresh, great taste. The owner and staff were also very nice and made sure we were well taken care of. I definitely recommend you try this place!

Cute little place, friendly staff. Tried the grilled fish/shrimp tacos, and was not disappointed. Flavorful fish, cooked perfectly, Cabbage was sweet and crisp, perfect amount of chipotle mayo. Had cilantro rice and black beans, good enough to be a meal on its own. Condiment/salsa bar is nice add on, authentic items. Corn tortillas were soft and not rubbery or mushy. Decent price for the amount of food. Anxious to try more of the menu.

They probably put crack sauce in their shrimp georgee's style taco because it tastes so good and addicting! I love their condiments selection; it stays clean, stocked, and fresh. Lent Friday's will be easier thanks to this place.

AMAZING TASTE!!! The fish tacos have a unique flavor that I have not found in Houston. I recommend to come in here and just try the blackened or baja fish taco. It is a family run business very laid back and friendly, makes you feel at home. Great quality food. Brand new establishment with a bright prosperous future! I will be coming regularly to enjoy the best fish tacos in the Bestside!

From all the reviews I was expecting some top notch food.. I ordered the shrimp platter which was a good amount of food but in my opinion I've had better not enough seasoning...my wife ordered the chicken platter and that was just horrible the chicken had the consistency of jello and had zero seasoning once they took it to be cooked more.... at the end she didn't even eat it saying it didn't taste good at all I tried it and it was not good at all... For the price I was expecting something top notch and what I got was just not up to par with the price I paid for this food very disappointed will probably not go again the staff was great just the food wasn't there...

I was in the mood for fish today and yelped fish in the area and found Georgee's Baja Grill. They've only been open 3 weeks. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and the patrons were fun too. We ran into a couple that had been there 4 times in this week alone! That says something. I had the teriyaki bowl, which was actually a plate(lol) and I got the sauce on the side and it was an excellent fish. Can't remember what type of fish it was, but I need to start buying it at the store! Way better than Tilapia. We got the guacamole and I am a guacamole snob. Very good and cheaper than any other restaurant. They made home made salsas and I gobbled it all up. Tried every one of them.... So i could share the review with you! :). Delicious and with a kick. The kids got the chicken tenders and it was in a cornmeal batter. So good. The fries were awesome. Passed the kid test for sure. Try this place out and you will love it!

I love this place. I work at the vape/electronic cigarette place right next door to this restaurant and me and my boyfriend come here at least once a week. It's delicious and it's so comfy and has a really strong family vibe to it. My favorite things on the menu are the Baja shrimp tacos and the seafood Parrillada I believe it's called? The fresh salsa bar blows my mind, it has various types of salsa and pickled vegetables. The chips are really good here too! I never thought I'd have a preference to plain old tortilla chips lol the only thing I gripe about is the prices... It's a little pricey to what I'm used to but if it's good quality food I'm willing to pay for it

First, the Georgee's shrimp taco was fantastic! Wish I hadn't eaten it first. The blackened fish taco was good. Not fabulous, but definitely not bad. The people were very friendly, service was fast, establishment was clean and salsa bar items were very fresh. Would definitely come back. But just two shrimp tacos for me next time!

We have gone here twice and LOVE IT!!! They have great seafood, salsa, and their flan is so perfect! I recommend it to everyone. One drawback...its cold in there but then again I get cold easily.

This place is really good. Came here because of the other good reviews. 2nd time here. Great new neighborhood place. I live close by and they never have many people it seems. Check it out y'all. Don't let a great, local, family owned business close! Fresh, house made sauces. Grilled fish is very good and fresh.

Went there the other day for lunch. It was quiet and clean. Friendly staff. Did not like the chip and salsa idea. Wish it was a different concept for that. Not go get your own salsa. The tacos we ordered were delicious and filling. The rice and beans were very tasty. I would recommend checking this place out if u want some fresh and tasty fish or shrimp tacos. Also tortilla soup was phenomenal.

Stopped for a fast lunch to go...stayed and enjoyed my fish tacos. Delicious. The salsa Verde was spicy, but not so much that it overtook the crispy fish, the fresh cabbage and the Chipotle sauce. I would recommend they perhaps put the corn tortillas on the grill, to freshen their taste to match the insides...but I will be back!!

Great new addition to the area. Cheap as and better alternative to fast food. Had the fish and shrimp tacos, both were good. Service was excellent, has a family feel to it. Solid value for money, I'll be a regular!

1st time here, didn't even know this place was here; outstanding fish and shrimp tacos! Chips are homemade and fresh, all the food tastes fresh and delectable. They have a salsa bar so you can pick what you want. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. A little chilly inside though, maybe they could turn the heat up; Flan is very good considering I am not a big fan of flan. Very reasonable price on all food

Nice addition to the neighborhood! I dropped in for lunch one day and was impressed. I had grilled fish and shrimp tacos on their corn tortillas. The tacos were very good and the sides were on point as well. Nice fresh salsa bar too.

We made a sweet mistake by coming here.. We meant to go to chilies next door but couldn't cross over and looked very appealing. We tried tacos salad and fried shrimp basket. We will defiantly be coming back here. The owner Julio came to introduce himself and asked about our experience. Must try!!!

This place is seriously good! The customer service was great as soon as we walked in. The staff helped us order since we were newcomers. We had the Baja fish taco, blackened fish taco and Georgee's style shrimp tacos and they were all delicious! We recommend fish with corn tortillas and shrimp with flour tortillas. The homemade coconut flan was amazing as well. Welcoming, friendly and clean. Already planning my next trip back.

I won't venture into the ordering process as other yelp reviewers have covered that in depth. For our visit, the Baja shrimp were fried fresh. Definitely not the taste or feel of pre-battered and cooked so the shrimp tacos were good. The blackened fish taco was a bit bland for blackened, but definitely ok. The Baja fish taco was good as well. My mistake was ordering the carne burrito which tasted ok, just not anything special. I've had the same or better at chip@ltes........recommendation. Stay with the seafood as this seems to be where they are better than most local joints. Also, seemed a bit expensive for lunch, but maybe we need to stick to the specials.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
