Came here after having a horrible time at an upscale resturant on our anniversary so we were way over dressed at the time. The lady who gave us our cards was awesome and super nice. We got drinks at the bar and even that was special. They heard it was our anniversary and we had a bad night at the previous place so they gave us a free drink each. Made our night. Went to place games and we're like kids again. Loved the Mario cart game!! Finally got to play it without having to share with our kids. We picked out a few things with the coupons we won and ended the night on a much better note.

Love this place for when I want to eat bar foods. The pretzel dogs are good and the the buffalo bar chicks which are quite tasty!

Chuck-E-Cheese's for adults! Love D&B! They keep updating their games to keep things fresh, so much to do, awesome drinks....good times. Great place for large crowds, and they're always open late until midnight.

This review is for the Frisco location. It had been awhile since I d been to this particular restaurant, so I didn't quite know what to expect. First off it was horribly COLD in both the restaurant and the downstairs midway. There was at least a 10 degree difference in the temperature from the mall to inside the restaurant. There was no wait, only because there were no customers at the time. Service was prompt, drinks were filled. Personally, for the money spent the food was nothing to ride home about. Half of what is on the menu you could get at your local Chili's or Applebee's. Expensive if you plan on going down to the midway to play games. The midway downstairs was fun. Lots to do for all ages. Only thing I didn't care for is the "prizes" suck if you don't get enough points. 400 and up points if you expect to get something equivalent to a nice prize. They gotta get cha somehow. .

Always had a great time at Dave and busters kids love it , go several times a year to meet friends and hang with family , food not bad ,service quite good , 2 alcohol drinks per hour though , 8 total ,ruined mine and my friends time , we love to play trivia and drink then walk across the parking lot to the hotel ,drinks are not over poured and 8 did not have that much affect after a full Dave and busters meal and 6 hours of gaming just a complete let down I would completely understand if we were inebriated ,but had a conversation for some time with the manager and he couldn't tell we had even had a drink he was a great guy by the way but stated it was a new rule by corporate , so for corporates new rule we took the 2000.00 dollars we normally spend there else were and kids got over it mine are older 16 and 21 and will not be back and that's sad we used to love that place

Awful....bottom of the barrel place I have EVER been. As we waited, and waited at the empty bar for a drink, We could not see anyone bartending.. I asked a waiter about their half price happy hour. He suggested I ask the BARTENDER who was wrapping silverware standing right next to us....Ignoring us! I told him we had booked our party because of the bar and I had been told Thirsty Thursday was in effect. He got up off the barstool hit the register and pointed to the time it was 7:01. Can't do it now he said ....ended one min ago...the same thing happened upstairs to other people in our party with their $10 power card gaming promotion. We asked for a manager ....and told him we had been ignored and he replied he was helpless to over ride the register. Cold mediocre food our bill ended up being just under$400. The place was empty. I wish we had left before our food arrived. I am truly in disbelief that these other reviews are real. THIS WAS THE DAVE AND BUSTERS IN FRISCO. Tx. We have enjoyed the one in Mansfield. Tx.

Great food variety, awesome happy hour, and fun games make this place great for adults and kids alike! This is a great place for adult night out or family day. Their menu really is diverse, there is something for everyone and their winner's circle has a good selection of prizes. You also cannot beat the half price games on Wednesdays!

Terrible service! The waitress was not even aware that we hadn't gotten our appetizers after a 30 minute wait. We canceled the appetizers and our food arrived cold 5 minutes later. When we told her she just looked at me and said "well, what do you want me to do. ..?" Even the beer on draft was flat. Yeah, awful experience overall! Nevermore!!

This was my first time to Dave & Busters and I really enjoyed it. The drinks were a little expensive the but that's to be expected. Lots of fun game options that really didn't cost that much. Also didn't feel totally shorted when we went to redeem our tickets. There are actually some cool options that didn't cost 50,000 tickets.

WARNING - Avoid the restaurant at the Frisco location The staff working the hostess stand to get seated in the restaurant has demonstrated they do not know how to treat or wait on customers. The station goes unattended for extended periods of time. The restaurant and bar staff don't seem to care. They can't wait to be done for another day. We went Sunday evening, waited for a while for someone at the hostess stand. She showed up and said it would be 10 min or so. She encouraged us to just sit at the bar to eat. If i am going out to eat I usually don't want to just sit at the bar. While waiting there just over 30 minutes watched several other parties that came in after us get seated some were 2 people some were group of 5. Some people were given those buzzers that light up and others weren't. It wasn't consistent. Another party of 3 came up and asked to be seated and she started to seat them. We pointed out to her we were still waiting, we were there in front the whole time! We left then i cam back a few minutes to the mall entrance and asked for a manager. We told him what happened, he never gave us his name or asked for mine. So it seems they do not need our business. All 3 in our group are spreading the word if you're looking for a good quality place this is not the place to go. It's not worth the aggravation to deal with employees who don't seem to be trained or really want to be there. Customers should not be taken forgranted

I love D&B - had to stop in while I was in the area because I knew the original was in Texas somewhere, but unfortunately it was Dallas, not Plano. Still had a great time - the upstairs bar still had the original decor, unlike some of the ones I have hit in CA where they are starting to remodel - BOOOO!! I am sorry I don't remember your name, but the gal that served me at the bar was fabulous- friendly, polite and actually enjoyed her job!!

Maybe it was the fact that I visited on a Monday and the place was light on traffic. Maybe it was the fact that I hadn't been able to eat or sleep very much while visiting for a family reunion. Maybe it was the fact that I don't have a D&B near where I live. I don't know what it was, but this place just did it for me. I walked in as a shell of a man, thoroughly defeated by toll booths that don't accept money and Super Targets the size of most football stadiums, and left a champion of Mario Kart.

My family did not have a great experience here. Sure- the games were fun. We liked the Monopoly game-- however it is a ticket-grab, and so the machine was hogged most of the day. When we were at the restraunt, our server was quick to take our order- she asked wha the wanted right when we sat down. Then, she came back, looking very angry, and took our order. The food came out cold, and all seemed frozen. The server came up to us 10 minutes later with our silverwear, and looked at one of my family member's drink (empty) and their paper napkin plate (splitting food), and asked if we needed anything. Later that night, they took our credit card, and never said anything about it during our 3 hour experience. We finally noticed our credit card was missing, and so we called this location. We triple-checked when they said they had our credit card, and drove 30 minutes to come down here. After a 10 minute hunt, they couldn't find our credit card! We went to the food court before we left (that food was way better than here), and they finally found it. However, there was no sorry or no explanation. Quite honestly, the games were OK, but I'd rather go to nickel mania-- even if their prizes are crappier, their workers are a ton more helpful and caring. I would not come back-- it was a horrible experience, and the manager was not good at taking care of our needs.

Stopped by there for a bite, but I'm a longtime regular for the games. In fact, I have gigapoints on my card, so I can pretty much buy the place if they had it for sale in the Winners Circle. That said, I gotta say the Cheesesteak was one of the best I've ever had. Giant had the Goldfingers, as usual, and loved them. I just wish they'd bring back pinball. C'mon, D&B, it's also a game place for adults! No need to continually pander to the kids; this isn't Chuck E Cheese!

Out food was quick and the time to be seated was just as fast. I guess because it is Father's Day not many people where there to eat. I had the calamari and a diet coke. Nothing really too big.

Food was good. I got the steak salad, it was good. Overall the group was happy with the food and service, we had a new waitress who did a great job. The drinks were great. I had a watermelon snow cone, it was great. Of course we had fun playing games!

This review is mainly for the restaurant part. Tables felt sticky, and as hubs was chowing down on his pasta, he noticed a hair in his food. Our server was unapologetic and inattentive, and it was not busy at all. We did get that meal free, but still, its gross. We won't be dining here again. All the other times, the food is less than mediocre and there are better places to dine close by. The only great thing about Dave and Busters, at least at this location is the games.

Brought the kids here on a Friday afternoon. The eat play win special starts at $16.99 for your choice of about 8 meals, $10 game card and 100 tickets. They have all kinds of upgrade options. $2 more and you get 25% more tickets or something. We were offered a lot of those type deals. The food was good. Burger was juicy and served medium well (kids meal), chicken fingers had 4 or 5 pieces. I had the chicken soft tacos they were served with rice, beans, veggies and 4 warm flour tortillas. Delicious. We sat downstairs in the middle of all the action. The kids went and played games while I waited for the food. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. She brought our game cards shortly after we ordered so the kids were able to go play. I found the pac man/ Galaga machine. A to go cup would have been nice but we were told they don't have have any. We had an awesome family time. The prizes / ticket redemption was pleasant also. The attendants were very helpful. The prize selection was all over from Pokemon cards to kitchen choppers, scotch tape dispensers and huge stuffed bananas with a mustache.

My wife and I love to come here! They have adult games like trivia and wheel of fortune. The staff has always been very helpful when it comes to a game maybe not paying out tickets like it was supposed to they always "make it right" for you. The bartenders can most definitely make your favorite drink. Tons of pool tables, HD TV's, and new games added often. If i could give them a higher score I would!

Went to Dave and Buster's for old time's sake to grab a bite to eat and enjoy each other's company the night before. We all were famished by the time we had arrived and were ready to dig in. I ordered a side of the chicken tortilla soup and a sweet apple pecan salad. My brother ordered the peppercorn sirloin steak and our friend ordered the pretzel dogs. Our waitress seemed a bit frazzled and forgetful - which is understandable since this past weekend was tax free weekend and with this D&B being inside of Stonebriar mall, I can only image the chaos that erupted over the course of 72 hours. But our waitress was sweet and accommodating despite being exhausted Our orders came out promptly and all I can say is that I am a huge fan of the sweet apple pecan salad. Although it was a smaller size in comparison to the entree version, the portion is huge. The sauce had the perfect hint of sweetness mixed with thinly sliced apples. Oh and the caramelized pecans, oh those were magnificent. I will ALWAYS order the sweet apple pecan salad whenever I go to any D&B from this day onwards. As for the chicken tortilla soup, I was a bit sad with this side. The soup was mushy and the only thing that really stood out to me was the sheer amount of cheese that covered the soup of the bowl. There was barely any chicken and no tortillas for that "crunch" that I had been looking forward to. As for the pretzel dogs, my friend enjoyed eating all 4-5 of them that came out on his platter and my brother thoroughly enjoyed his peppercorn sirloin steak (I mean, really, who hates a peppercorn steak? Those things are delicious when done right). Although we didn't get to play any games - we'll be back for the food (me for the sweet apple pecan salad especially) and the games another time!

um why the 3 stars?? First off for a "game place" this is FANCY. or maybe i just haven't been to many. but hot damn! you pick a card amount, load it and ready to go. They also have shuffleboard and pool as well. You go downstairs and there's a ton of games. Lots of new bright games and well as classics and old ones like Donkey Kong and Skee Ball. Geof and I had a great time and after about an hour and half we were tired, haha and ready to head out. If it's hot out, want to do something fun with your significant other, and not spend much, go to DAVE & BUSTERS! Will be back! **plus they have a restaurant inside and full bar**

D&B's is always a fun place to go to with friends when you're just looking to have a good time. We came here with a group of 10 and it was fun being able to do car races together and play the various bball games. A couple of my favs: the one where you have to jump when the light goes around and around...it's especially fun but dangerous when doing it in heels. There's this one other that we recently discovered. There are 3 balls that light up and 3 pads on the floor that light up - you just have to have really good hand eye coordination and you have to be quick. Touch whichever one lights up and you just keep going.... I've only been here once so I haven't had their food - but knowing that their food is just ok at the one in Cali..I don't expect much from the food here. I think I'll stick to the games.

Our family visits Dave & Buster's quite a bit and I'm giving the food only the 3 star review. Obviously this is not a place where people come to enjoy the food as the large game room downstairs is what families are coming for. As an adult I love going to D&B! The food is really just ok. Nothing to brag about. The Mac and Cheese was ok, a little bland but it's not that hard to mess up mac and cheese. I would stick to the appetizers instead.

This is a great place to eat. Even though its in the mall and caters to gamers the food is great My wife and I had steak and Shrimp and steak over pasta and lobster sauce. With wings as an appetizer. The food was delivered quickly hot and delicious. We will go back

This place is great! I love the bar area and all of the games! Truly enjoyed the new big Pac Man game they have there. The food I was not inpressed with. We ordered Salmon and appetizers. They were not good and salmon was dry... Very sad cause the price of their food is a little expensive. Anywho we had a larger group and our waiter Justin was amazing! we had a lot of kids with us and he has able to handle all of us!

Coming from a girl who thinks Chuck-E-Cheeses makes for a great date, it's no surprise that I found my D&B experience amazing and exhilarating. Adult drinks, electronic games, and great food, all at reasonable prices. What more could one ask for? I'll preface that this was my first first time to a D&B, so this review is not relative to my (non-existent) other D&B experiences. This place was HUGE - lots of place choices to sit and drink, or sit and eat, or sit and play games, or not sit at all. If you're there hungry, and you want more than play, try the Eat-and-Play Combo ( daveandbusters.com/Eat/M… )! There's 3 levels ($15.99, 17.99, 19.99) - in each, you get a entree, plus $10 in game play! Often times, this equates to only $3-4 more for the $10 game card. Plus, if you register your card (enter in your email at the kiosk at the front desk), D&B will give you $10 to use (unfortunately it can't be redeemed immediately as it comes as a coupon via email the next day). For the play part, if you're a competitive spirit like I, and want as many tickets as possible, I recommend the "Win Tickets" games where you have to hit the stop button as a light moves up and down, or around, a "jackpot," such as the Wheel of Fortune or Cyclone. There's quite a few machines out there with this theme, and the jackpot goes up as other poor souls fail to stop the evasive light at the right time. Search for ones that have 150+ and give it a shot. They normally cost around 2-3 points to play. With my $10, I was able to get about 450 tickets. This doesn't quite amount to anything good from the prize room, so I'm saving it. :) Or you can be more relaxed about your play time and go for the "Classics" such as Pac-Man or Skeeball; or get a little more action with Star Wars Trilogy or Rambo. Don't forget all the ride, drive, fly games too! The prize room has a pretty large selection too (at least compared to Chuck E Cheeses), from D&B branded variety of glasses, to a playable Piano Tie, to an Apple iPad! If you really want the iPad, I recommend you go to your nearest Target (and save 5% with a RedCard); it'll take 200,000 tickets otherwise... which requires you to win a lot of Jack Pots! Given my .45/ticket ratio, it'll cost me $90k to "win" that iPad. No thanks. Either way, go, and have fun. Take the kids, or the cousins, or the parents, or your date. ;) Did I mention full bar and lots of big screen TVs with people running around kicking/throwing balls?

It was my first time coming to Dave and Busters bar and I was really excited to watch the Dallas cowboys game... We sat and were promptly waited on by our waitress. It wasn't busy and the drinks took a bit longer than expected. Our waitress was annoying for lack of a better term. She was def trying to get us to spend every penny for a higher tip. She made sure we knew that she was supposed to be off at 8pm but had to close( more than once) and the Miller Lite promo girls were there and she said don't take anything they have to offer and they are stealing her business- she even stated she told them to stay away from her tables... Seriously? Yah ok we won't take a free beer at an already expensive establishment- then she came to our table and gave us bad looks for taking the freebie- seriously so unprofessional but what should I expect from a restaurant I guess- she was miserable and annoying the whole experience- won't be back ever. The huddle o nachos were delicious and $5 special for Sunday- enjoyed those and a quesadilla- portion for quesadilla not worth $10

You know, I haven't been to a D&B for years and felt like it was time to visit again (actually, sis in law insisted) and check the place out. The moment I walked in I was like "What tha?" as I looked at a walls and ceiling, resembled walking into a fancy saloon...Good deal! Slightly odd layout but no biggie. We sat down and waitress came over to take our drink order. THIS is when I became APPALLED! NO CRAFT BEERS!!! Except for a Sam Adams lager and I do not consider Blue Moon "Craft". So, a nice place like this with all the bells and whistles catered to adults with only 1 craft beer to be had....seriously, what gives? Then came the next shocker....NO PIZZA!!!!! I was seriously in the mood to have pizza and I swore I seen on web site there was New York style pizza, guess I over looked something...(NOTE: the "No Pizza" thing has no barring on this rating). Anyway, I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak and I thought it was great but only had a water to finish it off with, a nice, simple Pale Ale would have been great but once again, Only 1 craft beer in this establishment and I wasn't in the mood for a Sam Adams lager. Service was quick and great, no problems there. We then ventured down to the game room....Guess what...Kids everywhere!!! I was under the impression this was geared towards adults but there were more kids then adults....almost like being in a Chuck E. Cheese.....That was another problem I had, small kids running all over the place, running in between me and my wife, kids almost tripping me while walking, kids yelling, kids kids kids!!!! Everywhere....This was nothing but a Chuck E. Cheese without pizza and serves beer and spirits....Jesus.....give me a freak'n break... Overall, No Craft beers and a ton of kids really killed this for me. ....The only thing good was my Philly Cheese Steak and the Buffalo Wings.....I have no desire to return, this isn't my kinda place.

I would of given 0 stars but it won't let me. Came in on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner. They weren't busy and had lots of staff. We sat down and ordered our drinks (water and tea), the waitress never came back. Had to finally flag down a waiter after 10 min. While he was good the worst part was watching the one waiter walk around with his finger up his nose. Just glad he didn't bring me my food.

Went on a weekday afternoon as a family day trip. It wasn't crowded with day camp kids, which was a plus. The multiplayer air hockey was stuck, but the staff was quick to fix it and even gave us 6+ extra games each--the kids were thrilled, but my arm hurt. Bartenders were helpful and the ticket to prize ratio was pretty good. We wasted $50 over 3 hours and didn't get sunburned.

Food is good, drinks are good, games are fun...A little pricey, but I feel like most Dave and Busters are...since you are also paying for the fun and the atmosphere. Fun place.

Food is more like 2.5 stars, but games and bar service pull it up to 3 stars. Some new games but not all are necessarily working. Happy hour pricing is a nice plus.

Whatever you do. Do not eat the steaks. They don't have a clue on how to cook a steak. No matter how you order your steak it will always comes out overcooked.

I came here last night for Half-Price Wednesdays! I don't know if that's the actual name for it, but that's what I'm sticking to. I love coming here Wednesday nights. All the games cost half what they normally do, so you get more playtime out of your money. Also, from 9-11 PM, they have happy hour on a ton of their drinks, and most of the drinks end up being only $3-4. I've had quite a few different drinks here, and despite how alcoholic this may make me sound, I've pretty much liked all of them. Walk the Plank and their Tropical Mojito are my faves, but as a warning, their drinks are pretty sweet. If you're not a fan of sweet drinks, you might want to stay away. As for food, I don't normally dine here unless I choose the eat and play combo. Their Blackened Chicken Pasta that comes in a yummy cajun alfredo sauce never disappoints!! Arcade-wise, they got rid of a lot of the machines, which is never good, and the service here is quite slow. However, in the hustle and bustle of a busy night, I'm pretty forgiving considering that these guys are always running around. I would be more upset if I just saw them standing here, but I never see any of them take a break when I go. Good place to go if you're just looking for something to do. Especially on Wednesdays!

It's difficult on even where to start with my experience here last night but I'll begin with the long wait for a table. Yes, we were a big party of 14 people and expected a long wait time but don't tell me we'll be seated in 30 and then seat us in separate tables after another 45 minutes rolls by. We were starving by the time we got seated and thought our minds were playing tricks on us when we thought our menus even smelled delicious but alas that was just the mayo and mustard smeared in between the pages, nice D&B real nice. We placed our orders and patiently waited for our food. In the meantime we had to ask for soda substitutes as the coke was flat, water for the individuals who ordered cocktails and extra sides of ranch. Our food came out but none of our requests did so we asked again. The ranch came out with a long piece of blond hair mixed in and I received my water after I was done with my meal. One of the other guests said the pecans in her steak salad tasted funny but I can't voucher that because after 4 other individuals agreed I decided it would be smart to just say no. 50 bucks later we decided to go downstairs to play some games. The games here are better then the drinks and food, I can tell you that but there's not that much more I can rave about Dave and Busters.

Excited to play some pinball, I visited this D&B location last night. When we got there, I spent at least 15 minutes looking for the pinball tables. There were none. FAIL. Disappointed, I headed to the air hockey area. There was a single air hockey table. Yes, one table. We had to wait forever to play, and the game was unenjoyable as we had a bunch of people waiting on us. WTF, Dave & Buster's? Even Main Event has multiple air hockey tables. To their credit, the food was pretty good--but service was subpar. We were served by so many different people, we weren't even sure who our waiter was. And keep in mind that, if you go for the "Eat & Play" combo, you'll be expected to tip on the total that includes your game credit.

What an absolute waste of time. If you're looking to have fun and spend time with friends, do not go here. If you're looking to waste your money, then by all means, go to Dave and Buster's. Everyone literally walks around pushing lit up buttons. No one knows what the "objective" of the game is. If there even is one. I thought the food was great, but that was before the indigestion started. I ordered the chicken tacos and should have asked for a roll of toilet paper on the side. I paid twenty dollars for one of those card things. At the end of a "fun filled" night, I got a roll of sweet tarts and some laffy taffy. Yeah that's definitely worth $20. Not. I had hoped the photo booth would be fun at least. But no, they don't allow you to use your card in there. We spent five dollars for a crappy photo collage. Yay. The best part of the night was when the three gangster cars pulled up. I was pretty jealous of their green under carriage lighting ans flashing lighted wheels. Anyway, my $30 got me about $3 worth of candy and trips to the bathroom every ten minutes. Definitely would not recommend.

Remember when Dave and Busters was like chuck e cheese for adults? Maybe it's just this location, but it was swarming with active, loud, little monsters on a Saturday night. Maybe it would have been okay if we were expecting it. It didn't help that no one knew how to make a proper cocktail, although, the bartenders were really nice and they did try, so it's okay. Unfortunately, our waitress wasn't very attentive or friendly. If you're going to ignore me, please, at least be nice when you do come by. I will say that the food was okay. Not really memorable, but no major complaints. As for ambiance, the restaurant itself looks a lot like the Cheesecake Factory. The bar is nice enough. I might give the bar another chance if I were shopping at Stonebriar mall, but the restaurant just turned me off, and the incessant noise coming from those wriggling, little creatures running rampant pretty much ruined what was supposed to be a playful date. Ugh.

Never...Again!! Where to begin...was not happy to see the eat and play was not available the day we were there. So now you want me to pay $15 to eat, then $10 to play? Wasn't in the mood to spend that much. Then to make matters worse...I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken alfredo... the chicken arrived cold, and greasy...the noodles were a little under cooked for my taste, and the alfredo sauce was flavorless. The server was a little to eager, stopping by the table every 2 minutes, almost asking if everything was ok, and shocked we weren't complaining. Then my chicken got chewy, you know how when you microwave something too long it gets chewy...totally turned off, and won't be back!! The manager never arrived at the table after asking...left very unhappy.

Good food. Took a little while to get our server. Game area was fun with all games working.

i like the location, customer service isn't the greatest, but the atmosphere has always been comfortable when i go to this D&B location. I like being able to walk the mall, get my VS items, go eat a piece of cheesecake at the factory of cheesecakes and go to D&B and shoot hoops or play the racing games. i actually did this last week and really enjoyed myself. this location has a cool set-up. 3 stars for that

As much as I love Dave and Busters; this was a rough experience. I frequent the Orange and Irvine, CA DB's which have went downhill over the past couple years. Getting 2 stars instead of 1 because its the only adult arcade worth talking about. I expected the DB to be fun in Texas and was excited to see it was so large. Texas is big or something like that right... well this dave and busters was not good. The food was tasty as always but it took forever. The games were not fun and several of them were broken or not functioning properly. Dave and Busters has lost their swagger from 3 years ago as they try to cut costs, but has taken the fun out of the experience. I will try to continue to cut back my addiction to this place as my trips have gotten less and less enjoyable. I mean who wants to win 10 tickets playing Ocho cinco trivia. ughhhh.

I just moved here from New Orleans. And I have to say that North Dallas has to be the bland capital of the world. Nothing but chain restaurants and strip malls. It's saving grace for me has been Dave & Busters. The Dave & Busters has a VERY different feel from the other one I've been to, which is in Atlanta. No nightclub feel. No cover to get in. No bouncer. This was basically just like another chain establishment. BUT They serve liquor. I haven't seen a single bar since I got here! Sure, there are some in restaurants, but not a stand-alone BAR. Now, D&B isn't a stand-alone bar, but they have video games. And I'm a big fan of video games. Also on Wednesdays, the games are half-priced. And they have two happy hours. SO I can go in on Wednesdays and try to forget that I am in the blandest place in the world.

Fun Times at Dave and Buster's! I've been to this location several times and it's been great every time. One time for my hubby's bachelor party (yes, my bridal party and I definitely crashed it and the boys loved it (; ) and a couple times for other friends' birthdays. We always manage to have a great time there. We've gone there at several times of the day and I'm actually quite surprised that there wasn't a certain time people younger than a certain age had to be accompanied by a person 25 years or older. The one in the Bay Area in CA definitely had that. And sometimes I found it kind of strange that people with year old children were still playing in the gaming area well past midnight! They have some pretty awesome drinks there and a pretty good bar. Now as far as food service goes, it's a bit slower paced than the other places I've been, but overall, I've been quite happy with the food itself. Overall, I think it's a pretty good place to go for entertainment no matter the age!

The games are cool but I went there for the food today and was very disappointed. The ribs are horrible, no taste to them regardless of how much of that watered down BBQ sauce you put on them. Fries are okay, not worth getting them again. As for the service, well our waiter obviously had one too many table to manage and was not prompt. There is no reason I should tell you I would like a refill. You need to stay on top of that game!!! Another thing I did not like is waiting for my appetizer and then finally getting it but unfortunately my meal was ready five minutes later. Really? So my appetizer turned into my meal. They really nickel-n-dime you in there..I won't be eating @ that place again that's for sure.

A number of years ago, D&B actually had pretty darn good food, surprisingly good. And when you get your food nowadays, there's still a remnant of that, almost a teaser of some sort. And then you have the first bite, and the second, and the third, and then you realize the quality of the ingredients has gone down, way down. And the modification leading to the current incarnation is actually just plastic-y At some point along the line, they made a conscious decision not give a shit about the quality that much anymore and buy second rate stuff and do it second rate. The buffalo chicken sandwiches - bottled sauce from some cheap vendor, fish and chips - fish was not fresh, coating too salty, chicken fingers - dry and flavorless, macaroni and cheese - fancy noodle with a "dressed up but still out of the trailer park" sauce, fries - "I don't give a shit", they're just fries. Oh, and BTW, they soak you on pretty much everything. The food's pricey, the beer and wine is $$, the kids drinks are $$. Sad thing is, I'll pay for quality but don't try to fool me by taking below average bar food and putty some pseudo fancy dress on it. Gave it two shots, not going back.

I've been here on my own and also had a party for my team at work. They did a good enough job with the buffet, drinks etc. This place is more fun on your own and I think it is a blast (though I like the Walnut Hill location a little better). On the food side I love the pasta with blackened chicken. Rest of the menu is at least as good as bar food and some is a cut above. The drinks really shine in my book - a healthy (haha) size and strength well mixed. One of the best apple tini's, good mojito, friendly bartenders, etc. And of course the place has pool and a mix of electronic games (but no pinball boohoo). Place is even better if you go often enough, and tip well enough, to be remembered. Has some TVs but not really a sports bar and not a great place to watch "the game".

It is a great place for family with children old enough to play their games. I think that the food is ok. Not a lot to choose from. Most on the food seems to be about the same to me. But other than its good. It can get expensive though with the games and the food.

My son wanted to go to Dave & Busters for his birthday last week. (3/31) the service was very poor. He ordered steak, my husband ordered a salad and I ordered the catfish. The waitress was slow - she also got my sons drink order wrong and when she went to correct it, it took forever. I ordered a 2nd tarter sauce and my fish was cold by the time I FINALLY got it (after reminding her). There were not many customers around, it was a Tuesday night, just think the service could have been much better.

I have to say that the food here is actually quite decent, but what dazzled me when I dined here for the first time recently was the fact that my server had an incredibly impressive attention to detail, & really went the second mile (more than once) with requests, & again when there was an issue with my order. While the food is certainly good, the service alone makes the stop worth it. Please ask for Jim the next time you go!

Our food service here was sooooooo slow, just getting the check was a fiasco, then it took forever just to correct what was wrong with it. The bars made up for it and are a much better situation. Even on a Friday night this DnB's was not packed at all. The bartenders are friendly and they'll make you a good strong drink.

Great place to eat and scale back for a cocktail and games with family and friends. Upon eating in the main dining area,I observed the manager walking the floor ensuring customers were being taken care of. Great customer service with Kai who was our server. She kept the drinks full and very attentive to us while being served. Some of the games didn't seem to be there as much as they used to have other than that still a great deal all around!

We had a unpleasurable experience. I want to say up front, my stated reason for yelping is to give those referring to the reviews an honest feel of what a place is like. There is no greater satisfaction than to find a place on yelp go there and declare " a Find" based on the combination of your experience and the reviews that led you there. That being said, this was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant in years. After a movie we decided to play pool and enjoy a hamburger. So we set up and stated playing. Our waitress took drink orders and came back with weak watery iced tea. Ok no problem how bout a Dr Pepper. Ordered a burger all the way with mustard and mayo. In less than 10 mins she brought nothing that resembled what I ordered and when brought to her attention she disappeared never to return! Requested a manager. Nothing after a 10 min wait. So I left.

I love this place! The bartenders Stephanie, Josh and RJ are amazing. Food is good for a decent price and there are tons of drink options. I wish there were more games though and they did take away my favorite game but they still have a bunch of fun ones.

Absolutely terrible service. We have always enjoyed coming to Dave and Buster's for the games and last night decided to give the restaurant a try. Our waitress was rude and inattentive to say the least. After seeming annoyed that my boyfriend and roommate ordered two beers, they took at least 20 minutes to get to our table. We asked a couple of questions about the menu and pricing of beer (because they were not listed), and she gave us sarcastic answers. I watched this waitress stand in a corner and gossip about our table to another server. We were very kind to her and did not give her a reason to be so rude, so it was absolutely inexcusable for her to treat us this way. After the gossip-fest, she decided to stop waiting on us altogether. We flagged down a busboy and asked if we could get the check because our server clearly wasn't planning on providing that for us. She brought us the checks, we provided our cards, and she brought back the final receipts. I told her thank you (despite the awful service we had just experienced) and she responded with a fake smile and said "And don't ever come back." I kid you not. I have never been treated so horribly in any establishment, let alone a "family friendly" restaurant. We had just spent over $80.00 and you are telling paying customers not to return? We of course asked to speak with a manager and he came to our table within a couple of minutes. He seemed very professional and kindly introduced himself. When we explained what happened, he didn't seem too shocked to hear our story. Not sure if this is a regular occurrence or not, but at least he comped our meals and halfway apologized. He assured us that he would address this issue with our waitress and the other server she had been talking with about us during our meal. I couldn't tell if he was being sincere or not, but one can hope. Before we left our table, the waitress made it a point to pass us and glare as if we were in the wrong for speaking with her manager. Needless to say, we will not be back for very good reason.

This was probably one of the worst Dave & Buster's I have been to. I am not sure if I just haven't gone in awhile and the company lowered their standards, or if this is the forgotten location. It looked nice at first, but when you reach the game area, it becomes a dump. It was so crowded, you could barely move and a bunch of the games either didn't work or ate your money. We sat at a table to dine and never did receive service.

I know it's Wednesday and half off. There are more customers at premise than expected... but you are not busy enough to be going full ADD on your patrons. It's not weekend and not everyone is old enough to drink. Henceforth, you are not that busy and you can be responsive just don't be territorial over customers you can't handle.

    (2)
  • Lily Y.

Of course we all come here for fun & games.. and can't forget the varieties of drinks to choose from! On the other hand, the food and service, I have to critique a bit hard on-- I came here with my daughter for my sister's company event and did not expect it to be that busy for a Wednesday evening! Good for the business! Anyway, a couple of us got there on time and were directed to a table reserved for about 10-15 of us. After we were seated, not one server came up to us until 20-30 minutes later (and our table was RIGHT NEXT to the bar). When a guy approached us and asked for our drinks, I asked if he was our server, then he responds with "no I am not, I actually can't find your server.. Don't know where he is? He should be here somewhere.." Umm k that's reassuring. We then got our drinks from some other lady server and then she started taking our order for our meals, so I GUESS she's our server now? While she was taking our order, she just looked like she hated her job... No recommendations when we asked and careless. I know this setting is mostly focused on the games, but I'm pretty big on service, given I'm in the industry, and no matter how much of a crappy day I'm having, I still force a smile on my face and tend to my customers because, I don't know, my service reflects on my tips and they don't deserve that kind of service due to my mood?! Recommendation: go on Wednesdays, 1/2 priced games all night! Also, choosing from the combo menu with the entree + bonus card for games is a plus!

Where can I start I had the most worse service. Home from a long day at work and to come to,have fun and eat. Well have fun and eat wasn't what happened. First it,took, the bartender for ever to get our order, never came back to ask for drinks, when food was ordered and brought out asked for Mayo and took over 5-8 minutes to bring mayo so my,sandwich was cold by then. So I ask them to remove it cause it was half a sandwich. Well was so upset did not want to stay any longer got,up,told, manager about experience she didn't even, offer to,comp the meal. Then to arrive at home, and find that I was still c charged for the food I asked to be removed I was furious. I am currently, headed there now to,get a full, comp on the meal. What's crazy I also work, for, radio station so,in will, broadcast this and file fraud charges on the ladies who charged my,card for and inaccurate amount.

Any place that lets adults order beer and shots and then play arcade games is cool with me. For around $5 we got 22oz drafts and then for another $5 a shot of well tequila. Around closing time, I passed along my tickets to a youngster and went on my way feeling like a better person who just had a kick ass time...and got a little drunk along the way. Now can they bring Dave & Buster's to Seattle already?

Dave & Busters makes for an amazing night out! Can't beat a huge game floor film of fun action sports and shooting games! We had a blast! My only complaint is the high cost of drinks, but overall we had a nice evening and will be back!

When you order the combos (food + game card for a certain price), it's so worth it! For 2 people we ordered 2 dishes that gave us 2 $20 game cards, the fondue dessert + tip that totaled $70. The food came out to be around $5 each and the portions were huge! Food was also delicious, I had the balsamic chicken it's delicious, totally recommended! Chicken was so tender (one piece wasn't as tender and was overcooked, but for $5 and an arcade place, I'm not complaining). Fondue was also delicious and large, we were both food coma-ing after the meal and almost couldn't play any of the games! LOL But the only bad thing about the fondue was that some strawberries weren't fresh! Fondue was ~$10 and it was quite large, but can totally be made at home for cheaper! Hahah - cheap-o-me coming out. There also are two levels so if you'd like quieter seating you can eat upstairs. We came on a Wednesday night (half off games) so our $20 cards went quite far.

The location is alright. Simple orders didn't come out right, but then again it could have been a long day for the waitress. Everyone knows Dave and Busters but the Star Wars Battle Pod is here, and it's freaking awesome! More of the older gents are reliving their childhood years in a Tie Fighter, Bomber, X Wing, Milliniuem Falcon, and other icons of the New Republic. This is really awesome for something that is so short to play. Have to give it a shot. Oh yeah, may the force be with ya. If not, well, to bad. =)

Wow, not the D&B of experience I'm used to having. Had to find wait staff. The food was cold. Not willing to sell us the gaming cards at the table. I don't know what has happened here but it will be awhile before we are back.

This place is definitely for kids.... and those of us who are kids at heart ;) All of you grumpy old adults might not enjoy the gaming section of the place but you'll LOVE their drinks. Get the purple people eater! It's delicious and visually appealing. And they let you keep the shot glasses for their specialty shots! The food is average. It's a great place for a date too!

Pleasantly surprised. It's been 10 year's since I've been in D&B. First time at new style location, only been to the old one at Walnut Hill and Central. Midway bar - Staff was attentive, friendly, made good recommendation Food and drinks - standard offerings for food, but the new drink menu had several tasty delights "purple people eater and snow cones with vodka and midori was excellent. Games - plenty of variety, something for everyone but for my money, skeeball still rules. Value - $20 power card seemed like the best deal.

First time to this D&B. We have one in St. Louis and it's a lot more open than this one. With the game room in the basement it's kind of hard to spread things out. But the foods always good and the games are a lot of fun. Really disappointed with the prize selection. We saved most of are points for the STL location.

Went to Dave and Busters for a fun thing to do with the kids while on Thanksgiving break. It was a crowded Saturday night and the place was packed! They gave us a buzzer, while waiting for a table, and we went walking around to explore this massive establishment. Upstairs was a large bar area and a huge dining room, which was fairly quiet, compared to the downstairs zone. Downstairs was a huge arcade. A middle school boy's heaven! The coolest thing about it, was that there was also a large bar right in the middle of it. You can eat down here too! So, we set our kids up with "power cards" and got drinks! You purchase "power cards" from the kiosks or at the front desk. You select a game package based on how much money you want to spend on games and they swipe the card each time they want to play. When it runs out, you can add more money to the card at the kiosks. Just for the record, they do have Ms. Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Ski Ball and plenty of things for 80s kids to enjoy too, so you might want to add a couple games for yourself! They told us it would be about a 45 minute wait upstairs. After an hour or so, I went upstairs to figure out why we weren't called. I waited in line behind two other couples with buzzers. They each took turns telling the hostess that they hadn't been buzzed or called. The hostess said, with a frustrated tone, as if she had never experienced this before, "We called you 3 times over the loudspeaker! Weren't you listening?" It was a repeat with the next couple. When it was my turn, you guessed it. Obviously with all the noise downstairs, you can't hear the loudspeaker in most locations of the arcade. And the buzzer that you get upstairs is just too far away from the source to buzz. Not sure why the staff is acting like they are not aware of this. I just wish they would have said something about it. Like, when handing me the buzzer, warning me that if you're going down stairs the buzzer may not work and you may not be able to hear the loudspeaker, so check back with us, or consider eating downstairs, or sit at the bar upstairs while you wait....or something....But to watch this problem happen over and over looked like an episode on one of those restaurant rescue shows before the rescue happens... The menus was designed to appeal to families. For the adults, they have steak, chicken and pasta entrees. For bar dwellers, there are wings and Nachos. Lots of burgers and cheese steaks. There is a decadent Mac and cheese entree and an "Under 600 calorie menu" to balance it out. We had an order of mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. They were what we expected- pretty traditional 3" mozzarella sticks that started out frozen and were deep fried. They came with a marinara that was something out of a jar. Because it was what we expected, we enjoyed it. and...the kids LOVED it!! For our entrees, my wife got the burger, I got the Cheese steak, my oldest son got the cheese steak burger and my youngest son got the mac and cheese. I tasted it all! The burger was thick and juicy and was piled high with fixings and condiments. Fries were thick cut and salty! My steak sandwich was thin sliced beef laced with onions and peppers with American cheese melted on top. The cheese steak burger, was exactly that- A burger with onions and peppers and American cheese on top. The mac and cheese was extremely cheesy, had ham in it and was very salty. This place has some stuff figured out. Something really fun to do with the kids while their parents are able to have drinks and pretend they are in a casino in Vegas. It's a great environment for both the kids an the parents. They just need to fix the "waiting for a table situation". And although the food was good and we all devoured it, they could probably cut down on the salt. It was a great time though!

I enjoy coming to Dave & Buster's! Always a fun time! I don't eat there anymore because the few times I have, it was a bad experience. For for games and drinks, sign me up! I went a few days ago after not having been here in a long while and it looks like the spruced the place up! With new games and drinks on the menu, it's even more fun! To my surprise, the new games they had, we got to play for free to try it out. So fun! I like how the location is in the mall, so you can just go in and have some fun after a day of shopping. The happy hour is great and they also have a late night happy hour which I believe is after 9 or 10pm. Can't remember..but either way, it's a great deal and should be checked out!

This is strictly on the restaurant. I felt like they were racial profiling my family and I. Service was ok. Waited for a long time. They even ID my 80 year old dad. Though my party had mostly English as a second language speaker, we should have been respected more. Good thing tax is so cheap here. My wings came out sour. Have you people never seen an Asian person?!

  • Randy B.

I'm surprised to see so many couples and groups, adults with a choice coming into D&B's. After all, it's a kids joint with a steakhouse feel. But to be honest, it's a kids joint that isn't chuckie cheese, but a faux front -- chili's is better. A very large space, with upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs, the restaurant. Downstairs, the gaming. The gaming is what it's really all about. But the games, although really fun and great, are really expensive and quick. Some lasting as short as 20 seconds. You can go thru $40 in tokens in no time, in fact, that's what my daughter and I did. I would go back for the games, after payday, and skip the food.

Island Grilled Trifecta! This was the visit that my husband got me hooked. He has been hooked on Dave and Buster's at home for a long time now. I leave him there and I shop and come back when I'm finished shopping. He had been shopping with me all morning so we stopped in here for some fun. He was just going to play a little so I browsed the menu while he played. I was in the mood for some Caribbean food. When I saw the Island Grilled Trifecta, I suggested we eat there and get an eat and play combo. Surely I could find something to play. The steak, chicken, and shrimp in this entree were cooked perfectly. The sauces for the entree were pineapple pico de gallo, teriyaki BBQ, and mango citrus. It came with a spicy rice medley. Lunch was delicious. I played a few games but spent most of my time playing Deal or No Deal. So I'm official now with my own card. I'm sure we will be visiting the one at home more now.

This was my first time at dave and busters. Went for me and my husbands one year wedding anniversary to have some fun. It was good, but there are some improvements that are needed. Pros: Good food. The wings were good, but kinda small. The ribs were good. Shrimp was a little burnt, but still good. Had an awesome waiter, great customer service from him. They had some pretty good games. and prizes are better than you would get at other places. Cons: DIRTY DIRTY bathrooms, toilet paper literally all over the place. Pee on the toilets. One toilet had either green diarrhea or vomit all over it. It was disgusting. You'll be lucky if you can find one toilet that is clean/useable. Saw a hourly cleaning schedule, but it was obvious the bathrooms had not been clean all night. The place was packed with little kids which i wasn't expecting, i thought it was more of an adult oriented place. The kids cleared out at about 10:30 though. Very rude bartenders downstairs. We went to the bar after most of the people had left. There were only two other couples at the bar. The bartender ignored us for 10 minutes (he was literally right in front of us, facing the opposite direction doing nothing) then went to the other side of the bar to hit on some girl. My husband went and complained to the manager who really didn't seem to care. As he was talking to the manager a different bartender came up to me, i ordered a drink and he walked away then came back and said he didn't have the stuff to make it and walked away. His attitude was literally overpowering. I got the vibe that he was just too lazy to make a drink; i guess the bartenders here don't like it when you order drinks. End of story: I didn't get my mojito :/ lol Overall Experience: The games are good, food is good. Customer service upstairs is great, downstairs horrible. Either they need new employees or more employees because some of them obviously do not like their job and refuse to do it (bartenders and whoever was supposed to clean the bathrooms). I had a great time but not because of the service.

I love coming here and getting a drink and eating at the bar. The bar food is very good and you have a huge selection. We have eaten in the bar, restaurant and downstairs in the arcade. It's loud all over. This is a game place and so people are not coming here to relax but get hyped up and happy. There is lots to do and it's a great place to bring kids during the day. We have been coming here for years. The sliders are AMAZING!
