Not happy with this location. I've been a canes customer for over 10 years since college back home in Baton Rouge. The wait here took forever, fries were soggy and my lemon inside my tea was bruised or what looked like mold on it. Cashier was not friendly , didnt greet me and when I asked for ketchup and pepper she gave me the stank eye. Get friendly and more easy on the eye employees that knows how to smile. Blahhhhhh

I was literally the third car in line after they opened to the public at 7pm this evening. I was stoked since I love ordering fried chicken to go. I ordered the Big 3 - 3 strips, fries, toast, sauce and drink. I still don't know what the big deal is about the sauce, but everything works. For this price, you will probably want to head for Chik-fil-A but the late hours will draw fans in the Greenville area. I'll be back.

I had higher expectations because of so many people telling me how great this place is. The chicken fingers were definitely different but I have way better.

Overall I really liked the chicken here. It was really tender and I didn't have a problem with the breading falling off like other people have mentioned here. I thought the crinkle cut fries were just ok. The restaurant itself was clean enough though it smelled a little of stale grease. A little pricey for what it is, but I would come back.

Had lunch here with my family. Good was good. We ordered two box combo. Combo comes with 4 chicken strip, fries, toast, coleslaw and a drink. I really liked the fries they were nice and crispy. The chicken strips were good too, crispy but could use a bit of seasoning. The service was good. Everyone was really nice and friendly. I loved that the high chairs were clean too!

    Prepare for tasty tenders

This is the real deal! If your grandmother fried chicken, this will remind you of that. Huge chicken tenders served with crinkle cut fries (so they hold the ketchup). Also open really late!

I wasn't a fan of Cane's initially, but I've been dragged back here time and time again, it's grown on me. The chicken fingers are great (although a little greasy), the cane's sauce is great, the toast is fantastic, the cole slaw is ok, and the fries are ok. I also really like the vibe, it's cheesy without being annoying. The music + disco ball had me dancin' in my seat the last time I was in there. I don't come in very often just because I know it's not great for me, but it is one place we can agree on when it's late and we're at a loss for where to eat.

Ya' know, usually I like a little variety in the places I go, but when a place does one thing so well, it's kinda hard to complain. Big, juicy chicken fingers and crinkle cut fries. Mmm....finger licking good (don't care if some other resteraunt used that first, it's applicable!) And the sauce. Wish they gave you a little more, but I don't mind buying one or two more containers depending on how much face stuffing I plan on doing at the time. I've only gone through the drive through here but the service was pretty fast and friendly. 'Nuff said.

Went to Raising Cane's. I was way disappointed. The Texas Toast was burned and I've eaten better out of the frozen section at Kroger. The chicken was pretty bland as were the fries. For the same price, I'll stick to Bubba's on Hillcrest.

Nice people. Good service for the most part. Their Cane sauce is pretty darn good. Definitley would go back!

Just tried out the new Raising Cane's in Hurst. Basically a non-greasy version of Chicken Express. I wasn't impressed at all. The drive thru line was the longest I've ever waited in. It was overpriced for what I got. The chicken was kind of dry and didn't have much flavor. The sauce was pretty bland. The only good thing I can say is that the fries weren't too bad. Nice and crispy with just the right amount of salt. Otherwise, I wont' be going back. I'd rather go to Zaxby's!

I love me some Raising Cane's but this location is a little rough at times. There has been more than once that my order has not come out right (I mean, it's only chicken fingers...) and when my food has not been the freshest. That being said, I love the flavor of Cane's and as a fry connoisseur, I live for their crinkle cut fries. And no matter how soggy of fries I get or how crispy of chicken ends up in my box, the sauce keeps me hanging on. This location is the closest so we'll likely keep coming back with our fingers crossed that they slow down and smell the Cane's Sauce. Speed is a bonus but only when it's accompanied by accuracy.

Every time I go to this canes, I have the worst possible service. The workers there are immature and they always interrupt you when you are speaking in the speaker in the drive-thru and will always mess up something on your order. The last time I was here. I had to go through the drive through 3 times because they forgot my stuff and didn't get compensated for one thing. I love canes but this location needs help. Serious help.

This is the most over-rated place ..... I just dont get the hype about this place. The food is always hot and fresh but it lacks flavor..The fries are just toooo crispy and the chicken strips were so dry that the sauce didnt help it but I loved the toast dipped in sause

I am always amazed by the enthusiasm of the staff at Cane's. All the dishes are great and I have tried them all. I wish they would get better trays for dining in. The Styrofoam plates are small and warp from the chicken grease.

  • Kristen B.

I've never had them before the other day. My coworker suggested it for lunch and I'm glad she did! The cane sauce is tasty, I didn't see if they had other sauce though, I would like other sauce with it.

I have been to this Raising Cane's location several times. The chicken was always hot and crunchy. The batter stayed on the chicken nicely. Service was always fast. They never failed to greet me the second I stepped through the entrance. In the rare occasions when I had questions and/or concerns about my order, Trevor, one of the shift supervisors, was always courteous and addressed my questions/concerns to my full satisfaction. I recommend this Raising Cane's.

3.5 stars.....they are right on Chicken Express's tail. Yes, there are no options - all they have is chicken tenders, fries and coleslaw. But what they do have is good. THe chicken was fresh, hot, super moist and flavorful, I like their sauce - sort of a remoulade-ish dip - that I was happy to use all 4 nuggets in. I usually like a variety in sauces. At Chickfila, I use honey, honey mustard and polynesian. At Chicken Express I go for the honey mustard, gravy, and plain honey. Here, if I would've had a 6 or 8pk of tenders, I would've gotten bored of their sauce but for 4 tenders, it was fine and I will go back.

Wonderful place for chicken fingers and chicken fingers only. I love a place that does only one thing and does it well and Raising Cane's is one of those places! I always get the Box special (around 8 bucks with fries and drink) and it fills me up to satisfaction. The drive thru is FAST and effective, whichever hour you decide to go. They are also open till 3am for that late night, after the bar eating. +1 for the doggie biscuit they give you if they see your all too cute pooch in the backseat!!

  • Chris K.

This rating would be at least a star or two better if the chicken fingers came with gravy. This isnt boston guys....this is texas, home of southern food. People were raised in this area with gravy as a condiment. Sorry to sound so fat but thats the way I like my chicken. Not with magic chicken sauce. Besides, zaxbys already has the same sauce.

  • Diana D.

I wanted to like it, honestly, I did. There are three things on the menu, chicken fingers, fries and slaw and every menu option is a combination of those items. Everything comes with sauce and toast. The crinkle cut fries were bland. The chicken was tough and dry. I hear that people love the sauce, but even that had me scratching my head. To be fair, I took my 7 and 9 year old kids and they loved it, but sometimes I think you could chicken fry and tennis shoe and they would be fans. Will I go back? Not for me, but I might pick something up for the kids again.

It was the first time I went to raising canes today. I was very impressed with the quality of food, the speed of the delivery, and overall service. I thought the price is a little high considering it was fast food and the ambience is fast food. I think it is very interesting how these restaurants are opening and they're only doing one dish chicken fingers.

After being in the service industry for many years, I hold everyone to a very high standard, either verbal or in my head. Well, this Raising Cane's is head and shoulders above the rest. From what I've experienced, it all revolves around the core manager (doesn't it always, though), Ashton. They are so lucky to have him. He knew my name and my order the 2nd time I came in, and has come out from the kitchen every time with a warm greeting. Now granted, usually I come in with an order for my staff in our weekly meeting, but he remembers the small things. I appreciate that. Now, I would like to talk about the staff. I have never been anywhere before where the staff is as friendly as this place. They keep the place very clean, and do it with a smile. I truly believe that they are happy to be there, and are happy to see the customer. Now for the food. Damn. You won't find better chicken tenders, fresher Texas toast, or better sauce. Always order another sauce (Cane's sauce). Its a little extra but well worth it. That is all, friends.

  • Stacy Y.

This particular location is pretty similar to all the others, but the seating area is pretty small, and I feel like the quality of the food has dropped exponentially since I first started coming here. I usually order the box combo (4 chicken strips), and it seems like the chicken strips are getting smaller and smaller. Also, I usually enjoy the food when it's fresh, but I've recently been getting to-go from the drive thru and have been disappointed that the food does not hold up very well after a 15-minute drive. It would be nice if they could pack the chicken and fries in a cardboard box instead of a styrofoam box, which keeps all the moisture inside and ends up making the food soggy. In regards to the franchise in general, I really like that Cane's chicken is always freshly fried (and never frozen), which makes it so much better than most fast food. The crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and sweet tea are all great as well. But my favorite thing about Cane's is their sauce--it really makes all the difference!

What else can I say other than Raising Canes is the absolute best when it comes to chicken tenders. Omg!!!! Their sauce for the tenders are to die for and the lemonade it delicious. I love Canes!!!!

This was my first Raising Cane's experience! My co-workers have been talking about it all summer, so we finally took a lunch break and headed here together. I was super impressed by the freshness of the chicken. My co-worker said that they never freeze their chicken. You can tell.... YUM! It was a tad greasy though and the breading on one of my tenders would not stay on. I ordered the three piece combo with fries, toast and a drink. The iced tea is delicious and I was in love with their special sauce. The price was a little high, but I will pay more if I feel like I am getting quality food and I felt like I did. There were not many seats to sit at, which made it difficult for our group of six. I will be back here again. Next time I am bringing my hubby!

We stopped in for lunch while in town for the National Championship Game (where else would a self respecting Buckeye fan eat lunch?) and had a delicious meal, as always! Decor: It's a fast food joint, so there isn't too much going on. However, it is clean, open, and inviting. The one thing I do wish they had was a better system, or more room, for those waiting for orders. We were there during the lunch rush and there seemed to be a lot of confusion around who was standing where and if they had ordered or not. Finally, there are plenty of tables of varying sizes that can accommodate any size group. Bathroom: Just like the rest of the place, clean and inviting. Staff: Friendly and helpful. They also made and served the food rather quickly (given that it was the lunch rush). Food: So good. SO. GOOD! Probably the best chicken fingers you can buy. The fries are great and the Cane's Sauce is to die for! They don't have a huge menu but they don't need it because what they do do they do right! The lemonade and the sweet tea is also sugary heaven. Value: Prices are about what you would expect to pay for this type of place. One thing that slightly annoyed me was that one of my chicken fingers (in my four-finger meal) was TINY. It should not have been considered a whole finger. Next time, give me four + the mini, not three + the mini and call it four. The place is GREAT and we will ALWAYS come back (whenever we are near a location).

The chicken tenders by themselves are o.k. If I wanted fried chicken, then I'm partial to the spicy chicken at Popeye's. The magic is in Cane's dipping sauce. The toasted bread is also a nice touch.

Pretty good food. I had the four strip chicken combo with fries, cole slaw, toast and a soda. Looks like it gets pretty busy on Saturday evenings and there's not a lot of space for dining in. I think the meals would be great for small get togethers or a quick dinner.

  • Cassidy C.

I love canes, but disappointed in this location. I've been coming here for 4 years and the size of the chicken fingers recently is half of what it used to be, but the prices have remained the same. I want the old canes!

  • Maggie B.

Well, it is what it is. Chicken tenders, fries, Texas Toast, and "Cane's Sauce" (a mild, perfectly average but tasty pinkish bbq-ish-not-really sauce). Those are your choices, in varying amounts or combinations. I can't say I have any complaints and it was all perfectly tasty. There was also nothing special whatsoever about anything. This particular location was ok...the woman who helped us was new but she was friendly and did a nice job. It was about 5:30 or 6 on a Friday and the place wasn't especially clean, but it wasn't appalling, either. I went here for my significant other, who has nostalgia for the chicken from years past, so at least he was quite happy. If you're reading Yelp reviews to decide if you should come here, then probably not. But to be fair, you could do a lot worse. It's not too heavy or greasy, for one thing. There wasn't really any spice or flavor or really anything to write home about, but it was perfectly acceptable, what can I say!

I dont get it? Sorry to dissapoint you BLAND chicken lovers out there but thats exactly what u get from any of these Cane's restaurants no matter where the location. Nevemind the sauce or the fries, although they were pretty good & crispy, well-seasoned fries, thats not why or what I expect from a chain that "specializes" in chicken strips. Generic, processed-style mass breading & bland chicken strips is what you get. Let me just say that the 3rd star is for the great ambience & a friendly, courteous & customer caring staff. If you really want flavor-full, crispy strips I still prefer CFA's Or Pluckers Spicy Ranch (not really spicy, its more of a tasty seasoning!) chicken strips but what can I say, so many people rave about THIS place and I guess I JUST DONT GET IT!

    (3)
  • Pat N.

It's all about the sauce, people! Chicken fingers, that's it. Fries could be a tad crispier, but the delicious chicken strips make up for it! Great coleslaw and Texas toast complete the perfect meal. This location is really busy and they do get behind on cleaning tables , etc. but are overall really nice making it a top choice for a quick meal.

    (4)
  • Casey G.

It's not bad. I'm Texan it's hard to have tenders and no gravy where's the gravy. This has to be a Florida base company cause they serve dressing with there tenders .

  • Allison H.

this place got mad poultry!!!! dope secret sawce? check. dank a$$ crinkle cut fries? you got it. but you sniff dem fingers and your nose tries to warn your mouth whats comin, a flavor explosion das what. but your nose can't warn your mouth enough and then when you actually eat the finger its like "damn nose! you gave me a janky warning cause i was not prepared for that degree of flavor!!!" yo, the fry cook at this restaurant could easily take over food network. and you know they'll hook you up with some complementary ketchup and napkins cause they care about you and your family.

  • Nazia H.

Good, quick fast food! But it will put you in a food coma, so beware of when you're eating it! The fries and pepper sauce is sooooo good. Chicken tenders are crispy and big.

    (4)
  • Kaelin B.

For a place that only sells chicken fingers you would think the chicken fingers would be good...they are average at best! Over priced too, I mean charging for a dipping sauce, just one, silly!

    (1)
  • Daniel P.

Good place for anything chicken. My favorite is the chicken stripes and the secret sauce. I wish they had a few more options for sides but it is still a great place to eat. This particular location is very busy. It can be hard to find a seat during peak hours so plan ahead.

We arrived around 2:40am in a big group (about 6 people). We ordered 25 pieces, and we were asked "Dine-in or take-out?" I told them that we would be dining-in, and the cashier proceeded to take our money. After the transaction was complete, we sat down, and within minutes, another employee came up to our table and very rudely told us, everyone had to be "out of the building by 3am, so you have 15 minutes to get out." This happened again at the 10 minute mark and again at the 5 minute mark (each time it was a different person but everyone had the same rude and disrespectful attitude). I understand that employees want to get home at the end of the night, but everyone on the staff that night was EXTREMELY aggressive and RUDE. I cannot believe these people think it's okay to treat paying customers like that. You yell at people to get out when you don't want them there -- if you don't want our business, we will gladly go where we are appreciated, or at least where we're not getting yelled at by staff... Our entire group had been at my home playing board games that night, and we were all completely sober, so I truly believe the attitude and yelling by the staff was completely uncalled for because we weren't being loud or rowdy AT ALL. We used to frequently visit this location late night on the weekends, but something has definitely changed in the management and staffing recently. We never had an issue like this before, but I noticed that there were a lot of new faces that I didn't recognize. I'm not sure what happened, but I know that you will be losing repeat business if your staff keeps treating customers with such animosity and disrespect.

I was so excited to try Raising Cane's. I'd heard the radio ads given by the one and only Kelly Raspberry. My bestie'd told me about it too. So, what's a girl to do post-church when she's hungry? Try Raising Cane's! The restaurant itself is clean and bright with a decent amount of seating for guests. The menu is fairly limited, with chicken fingers, cane sauce, texas toast, and fries being the main components of each entree. We both chose the box combo, which features 4 chicken fingers, fries, texas toast, cane sauce, and coleslaw. We swapped the coleslaw for extra fries. Our wait for the food was probably about 5 or so minutes. The food was hot and fresh, always a good thing. I've been told the cane sauce makes the meal. We still can't put our finger on what exactly is in it. It smells like ranch, but doesn't exactly taste like it. When you take a bite, there's something tangy there and then a hint of cajun seasoning...it's a mystery! The sweet tea is good, and the lemonade a good balance of sweet and sour. By the end of my meal I was FULL! Another good thing! However...I think I was waiting throughout my meal to be blown away. The fries were crinkle cut, so nothing extraordinary about that, and the chicken fingers reminded me of a few other fast food places' chicken fingers. They were good but tasted crispy and...well, fried. There was just something missing. Perhaps my expectations were too high! I don't think I will become a regular here, but all in all I'm glad we tried Raising Cane's.

I went to school in college station and there was a small shack like chicken finger place called Layne's. All they had was chicken fingers, a somewhat weird but addicting sauce, crinkle cut fries, toast and potato salad. Various combos could be achieved using these items, but it basically boiled down to either chicken fingers, or chicken finger sandwiches. Does this sound familiar? After a few years of Layne's dominance in my college career, a shiny new Cane's building popped up just down the street. This was evil commercial, chain coming into to ruin our local chicken shack? This was an outrage. I wouldn't go to Cane's because it felt like cheating. But Cane's knew the way into a college kid's heart and provided free box meal combo coupons in all the campus coupon books. I was broke and hungry, they found my soft spot - free food. I like Cane's. I like their sauce, I like their chicken, I like their tea. BUT. even though the concept is the same, I will forever love Layne's a little bit more. It just feels right that way. According to each website, Layne's was established in 1994 and Cane's in 1996. Hmm.

  • Jared K.

At Raising Cane's, you basically have four menu options: 3, 4, or 6 chicken fingers, as well as a chicken finger sandwich. There's also a kid's combo, but I was much too hungry for that. I opted for the Caniac Combo, which is 6 chicken fingers, 2 sauces, crinkle fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast. The chicken tenders usually come out fairly crisp, and their house dipping sauce is pretty spectacular. There's no room to be picky at this place though.

Very good sauce is on point chicken strips is always hot and fresh wish they had chicken breast sandwiches or salads drier or always soggy when I get them and let's not forget their. Toast !!!!!!!!!

Love the sauce. When I first had the sauce I wasn't overwhelmed but each subsequent time I have been, I have liked it more and more and now I might be inclined to drink it straight, it is really tasty.

I have heard so many good things about this place so I decided to give them a try this past Sunday. I ordered the "craniac" which has six tenders, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and a drink. I was deeply disappointed when I got home to check out my order. The tenders were tiny. The fries were ok, nothing special. The toast was good. I didn't try the slaw since I don't care for coleslaw. If memory serves me correctly, the meal cost me a little over nine bucks. Very overpriced for what I received and the tenders were very overrated in taste. I have certainly had better, much better. Won't be going back.

Everybody knows how delicious Raising Canes is! However, I absolutely LOVE this location. The staff is extremely personable and friendly, fast and courteous. I will continue to patronize this location as long as the staff remains. I'm a huge believer in great customer service and they get an A+!!

Sauce Dictators...seriously. What if I want gravy or BBQ sauce with my chicken fingers? TOO BAD, or bring it from home and smuggle it in. YOU WILL EAT THEIR SAUCE OR KETCHUP. I'm just sayin'. Pocket full 'o gravy. Since it was my first time to ever go to a Raising Cane's I asked the gal behind the counter what was the best thing they offered. She said "The Box" because it had a little bit of everythying--meaning the only item they sell...chicken fingers. And yes I get it...it's in the name. The chicken tastes like a cross between KFC's origianl recipe and extra cripsy. It was juicy enough. Meals come with cole slaw, fries, toast and their sauce (grumble pink ranch grumble). You can opt out on slaw and get extra fries, toast or sauce--which I did since cole slaw is of the devil. The best thing on the plate was the toast. Place is cute enough, motif is kinda weird--local and pop culture with dogs and chickens--okay I sort of get it. It's standard fast food looking otherwise. Price is a bit higher than I want to pay, especially since Pluckers is RIGHT THERE, and they have spicy ranch strips with side of chips AND a variety of sauces for almost the same price.

Situated minutes from SMU my nephews love coming to this location to see what's in the kids meal. When it's kid's tattoos they'll stay long enough to let us eat our Canes, which to me is the best chicken tenders in Texas. The chicken tenders here always come out blazing hot and grease free. And, the sweet tea here is awesome! Sometimes this location is packed and it can be tough to find a spot to sit, but that's a reflection on the food.

Raising Canes is either really, really good or really, really bad depending on location. Went to the Greenville location yesterday and it was fantastic. Customer service was top notch. They let me order a kids meal without hassling me. They were jampacked but got food out fast and hot. My chicken fingers were moist and juicy. The fries were crispy and not greasy. Texas toast was perfectly toasted. Our table was promptly bussed and the manager held the door open for me on my way out. Definitely a top notch fast food experience on a busy Sunday.

I went when they first opened and was not impressed. The service was great, the food was hot and fresh, and the prices were cheap. BUT, there was a cop staring at my friends and I the entire time. I get it, security is needed in a Dallas chicken joint near SMU, but we were sober (despite going at 9pm) and we were the only ones in there, so the atmosphere was even more awkward/quiet. Needless to say, I was uncomfortable. I didn't like the sauce that everyone flips out over; I can name 500 other chicken joints with wayyyy better sauce/chicken. Snaps to them for being clean and fast, but I haven't been back since.

  • Nicole T.

Everything about this fast food joint is AH MAY ZING. I love that it simply has chicken fingers, and requires minimal thinking for what to order. Well, I guess deciding HOW MANY to order is tough, since it is so delicious I want to order more than I can probably eat. Me and my boyfriend stopped by here at around 1 a.m. after I picked him up from DFW. It was such a great idea. He was all "I'm not hungry so just get whatever you want" so I ended up getting the 3 piece combo, which came with zig zag fries, a piece of texas toast, delicious cane sauce (NEED EXTRA NEXT TIME!) and a drink. My boyfriend ended up eating 2 out of the 3 pieces, and I only got one measly piece! The sauce was so great, at first I was hesitant to try it since I hate ketchup and mayo and all the stuff in the sauce, but it was so good. The fries were great, the texas toast was just mediocre though. I will be stopping by here and getting more chicken strips next time and extra sauce. The price is a bit high for fast food, but well worth it as it is real chicken (not the weird mysterious stuff at McDonalds). TRY RAISING CANES IF YOU ARE IN TEXAS! IT IS A MUST! I am going to be terribly sad when I move back home and there is no cane's! :(

So, this is one of those businesses (insert product here) where you see the very simple menu, slap your head and say "gee, why didn't I think of that?" Well, I probably did, but dismissed it as not plausible, as did all of the banks the founder of Raising Cane's encountered. Well, if not for his fortitude, this model would probably still not exist. Realistically, this is more of a 3.5 place, judged against chicken strips, but since the concept is unique (I think, I can't recall any place that ONLY has strips), I'll give deserved merit. Family went as a last minute decision (since we were heading to Central Market anyway); kids each got the kids meal (2 strips, a drink, fries and a surpise thingee), $4.49 each; kinda pricey, but they scarfed down every bit of the grub like wolverines. Since this is not the fare I usually eat (that is, meals that derive 50% of the calories from fat), I split the box with the Mrs., which included 4 strips, cole slaw, Texas toast, fries and a drink ($6.89 I believe). For me, it was plenty; this isn't a place I will frequent, but in comparing strips, they were very good. Well seasoned and full of flavor, and the sauce was quite unique. To those that deride the availability of only ketchup and sauce, well, I think you might be a tad harsh on the concept itself. All in all, decent quick and very friendly/efficient staff. One recommendation: the west-facing window seriously need some shades to draw down...I had to block sun from my kids face, and I saw diners in the booths next to windows wearing sunglasses. Really no fun if you've ever experienced it.

I could eat here every day. I love getting the box. I wish I They would give you two cups of the dipping sauce.

Not only was Portia M rude because I wanted honey mustard instead of canes sauce, she also got my order wrong and came with cold and soggy fries.

Went here @6pm on a Tuesday. Was warmly greeted when we walked in. The place was nice& clean. I got a kids meal it was just enough. In Tennessee we have a place called Zaxbys that's what this place reminded me of execpt Canes menu was much smaller-which was fine with us. The food was nice & hot the special sauce was great. The manager even came over & asked if we needed anything. 10 min later another employee came over & asked was the food ok. I don't know if they heard me tell the cashier it was our first time in so they wanted to b extra nice but it made us feel welcome. I did notice they spoke to everyone one that came in& when we left they said thanks to us. Good food great customer service. The ice tea was great too!

I am in love with Cane's. Now, maybe that's weird because all I've ever had are their fries, and everyone else goes there for the chicken strips, but I get fries with two canes sauce and somehow every single time these two things alone have power to change any mood i'm in and make me a really happy camper. I would take Cane's any day over any other late-night fast food place, and plus, they're open until 3 am Thursday through Saturday!

Winner Winner chicken finger! The last time I had Cane's was a couple of years ago when I lived in good old Baton Rouge, LA (where Raising Cane's originated). The chicken fingers always hit the spot after a couple of drinks at the bar or club. Fast forward in time and I'm now living in Dallas. Had a major craving for some fried chicken and was delighted to see a couple of Cane's in Dallas and the one closest to me was only a few min. away so that's a plus. Got myself "The Box" combo(4 chicken fingers, fries, texas toast, cane's sauce, cole slaw *got no slaw extra toast instead*, and a sweet tea). After I dipped my first chicken finger in the Cane's sauce, I felt a little nostalgic and it still taste the same as I remembered. *tear* ... Fresh, moist, tender, crispy, fried chicken fingers with a hot buttery toast and addictive cane's sauce is simply winner winner chicken dinner!

Coming from Louisiana (Cain's home) I am partial to this place. I wanted to make a correction to those who think they only have one sauce. They make an excellent home made honey mustard as well. The have the BEST sweet tea at this place. Only one problem,,,, It's all addictive!

I really do love this place. Some people have been complaining about the lack of variety. Well, I just see it as they offer what they're best out (chicken strips), which leaves less for them to mess up on. I've been several times and the chicken has always been crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. The crinkle-cut french fries are always fresh and tasty. The Texas toast always tastes nice, buttery and crisp. And my favorite part has to be the Cane's sauce! It is NOT a thousand island dressing, but more like a ranch with a kick. The concept may not be for everyone, but don't look a gift-horse in the mouth. I'd rather have great chicken strips at a chicken strip joint, than mediocre chicken strips at an Italian restaurant.

Okay, okay. Don't harpoon me like a whale in China just yet. This place is good. But since I don't normally east fast food, if it's something that's going to make my ass this fat you better be worth the calories. It was good. It wasn't drool-worthy. Here's how the conversation went the day we decided to go to Cane's on a lunch break: BF: "Hey, that Cane's on Greenville right down the street just opened." Me: "Oh, isn't that the chicken place?" BF: *Slient gape of horror* "You've never been to CANE'S?!" Me: "Uh, no...I mean I think I saw one in Lewisville once..." ...by this time he's literally dragging me by the arm into the car. I guess that's where we're going. So here's the real rundown. Toast: 5 stars. I don't know what kind of heavenly lard they put on this stuff but it's the nectar of Gods. Chicken: 3 stars. It was good, it wasn't life changing. I prefer Chick-fil-a for my chicken cravings (not my fault, they put crack in their batter). Fries: 3 stars. They were pretty good. Not super memorable, but they were the crinkly kind, which almost bumped them up to four stars on their own. I just couldn't do it. Sauces: 3 stars. The Cane's sauce was good, but I suppose it was a little over-hyped to me. The most interesting about it was trying to figure out what they hell was in it. Honey Mustard & BBQ (I think) both were fine at the time, but I went a week ago and can't remember any specific qualities of either. So there's that. Tea: 2 stars. This shiz was SOOO sweet. Yea, yea, I get it, we're in the south. Whatever. So, if I'm craving chicken strips, on a Sunday I'll go here. If not, you'll probably find me braving the long line of carnivorous beasts at Chick-Fil-A.

I'm not sure what all the hype is about this place and why it suddenly got so popular. The chicken fingers are at most just ok. They don't have very many items on their menu so to only have so so chicken fingers and fries is very disappointing. If you're going to have a small menu, perfect the menu items you're selling. Here is the review for the food: Chicken - It was ok. 2.5 out of 5. The fried breading kept falling off the chicken. Once again, there was nothing spectacular about their chicken fingers, even though it was the only thing they sold. Toast - 5 out of 5. Really good. Not sure what they put on it..but it was very delicious. Fries - 0 out of 5. They serve crinkle fries at this place. I think the crinkle fries I got in my middle school cafeteria was better than this place. Fries were tasteless, cold, and just not good. Sauce - 3 out of 5. They didn't give me an option of a sauce. The only sauce I got was their Raising Cane sauce. Was it good? It was ok, nothing I would have to go back for. I would of rather had gravy. For better chicken fingers, Golden Chick is a better place to go.

After hearing from everyone that I have to try this place. I finally did. And I was happy with the results. Perhaps the best, juiciest, and freshest tasting chicken fingers Ive ever had. I hear they never freeze and religiously saute these things before cooking them...I believe them. Atmosphere inside is ok, a little messy when I went, but the service was extremely friendly and quick. Could use more food options though. Highly recommended!

Well I have to say I'm just not a fan. I don't like going into any restaurant even a fastfood one and having one choice. Would you like fried chicken tenders OR fried chicken tenders OR fried chicken tenders on a piece of bread? Not only that but you get your choice of ONE sauce. That's right. Some lame thousand island dressing that Mcdonalds uses on their burgers. No gravy, no bar-b-que, no nada. As far as taste goes they are fine. It's is a fried chicken strip. Really it taste like any other fried chicken strip. I would of preferred Chick-fil-a but they are closed on sundays. WAAAA..... The only way I would consider going back would be to go through the drive-thru for my daughter and at 7 she has more sophisticated taste as well.

Simply put, there are better chicken fingers at KFC. Just not impressive... I love chicken fingers, and I have tried Cane's twice and have been bitterly disappointed both times. Food is just not that good...too much batter covering up tasteless chicken. The fries are just horrible...if you're going to do crinkle cut, please use decent potatoes (like Idaho Burbanks or Norkotahs). Sauces are also not good...the "honey mustard" tastes as if it once had honey in it, but the bad mustard taste and some type of "spice" overshadows any good taste it once had.

My daughter works in the area and I had to go pick her up from work, but of course she was not ready yet. So I went to Raising Canes for a bite to eat. "Hey, what's kickin'? Want some chicken?" Was what I heard when I got to the drive-thru speaker. Yes, I did want some chicken, and I got some. I ordered a snack pack with Cane's sauce, fries and a drink. It was a little expensive for a snack, but they don't promote themselves as Mickey D's. Too bad for Mickey D's that they don't, because they surely could enrich their clientele. This is real food, not processed. It is also served fresh and hot. I cannot be sure, but I think their lemonade is their own recipe, and may be freshly made, as well.

Amazing cane sauce!!! I first tried raising canes on campus in lubbock, and I was wowed back then. And now they are here In Dallas, just great. Wife loved it too, fast service, which is great since we have a newborn. Thanks for coming to Dallas!

I'm a lover of chicken fingers, chicken strips, chicken nuggets...whatever you feel obliged to call them, I love WHITE chicken meat tossed in flour and yummy spices then fried up. mmm....damn good! But, I'm picky. It must be white meat. Not chicken with rib meat or whatever crap they want to hide in there and call it chicken. That being said, Raising Cane's meets my standards! All white meat in a tasty coating. What is that sauce served with it? I have no idea what you are, oh yummy brownish sauce, but you sure taste good on my chicken! Fries are, eh, ok. Crinkle cut fries. Toast is awesome. Price? Kinda steep if you ask me. $5.99 for 3 chicken fingers, fries, piece of toast, and a medium drink. But it must not be that steep to keep me from coming back, because that I have done!

My sister and I cruised through there this weekend since it was close to the hotel...they just built one close to me so thought I would see if it is any good. Suprised to see my ONLY option is how many chicken fingers I want....We both commented that this chicken must be AMAZING! Nope....it's just chicken. Golden Chick is WAY better....don't like coleslaw? Tough.....there are only two side options. Fries and slaw...the slaw comes in a dip cup (clear plastic with a lid...like you normally get ketchup in) the chicken...meh....the dipping sauce...meh....and don't give me chicken fingers with Toast and NO GRAVY? If you have a menu with essentially no choices...that sh&t better be awesome...this place...not worth the money.

I usually don't care for chicken. It's all about steak. That being said, the chicken strips are great. I warmed up to their sauce. The fries are really good. Deno can compare them to Plucker's all she wants, but Raising Cane's has a drive thru. Have you tried to park at Plucker's during prime time? I'm just sayin. It's restaurant quality on the cheap, and I don't have to get out of my car. I wonder how this will effect Chick-Fila? All I know is I can now get good chicken strips on Sunday.

I was expecting a variety, that the idea was different flavors of chicken fingers.. Needless to say I was disappointed with the variety or lack there of. This place has pretty good chicken fingers and pretty good ore ida looking crinkle fries. the sauce is a combination of thousand island dressing and Mayo I'm sure if I had a kid it would be perfect as what kid doesn't eat chicken fingers? Lemonade was pretty good but its hard to screw up lemonade. However my favorite chicken fingers are still the sesame chicken at eatzi's with eatzi's incredible honey mustard. It's open til 3 AM so the people on lower greenville can get chicken fingers to go with their DWI. Decor is a modern age chicken coop lots of aluminum and wood they also sell Cane's gear because who doesn't want a t shirt of a one dimensional food chain that are worn by people who collect a paycheck? (insert sarcasm) "I wanna look like I work there when I am out on the town. " Again to summarize things were good but nothing on the combo really stood out.. Couple that with my misconception and you get my feeling that I tried it and wasn't impressed.

This place is already added to my fast food rotation. : D . Its chicken strip is the best among all fast food chain I have tried. The strip is soft, moist, and crispy at the same time. The sauce that come with it matches perfectly with the strip. I didn't order the burger yet, so I cannot comment on that.

Great place! The vibe is somewhat like what you find at similar chicken strip restaurants in the Southeast - Guthrie's, Bailey's, etc. I think the service is faster here than the service at the north Dallas location. I think the chicken preparation is also better here than at the north Dallas location. The key to preparing this style of chicken is to use as little batter as possible. That's the biggest area where the north Dallas location falls short. Raising Cane's is still not as good as Guthrie's in the southeast but I think that this location is legit and worth keeping in the rotation.

Cane's is really really good. Borderline addictive. That being said, it's a one trick pony that you either love or can do without. If you decide to try it, which I strongly recommend you do, you have to go there with the expectation of experiencing canes for what it is, a chicken finger place with a secret sauce, texas toast and cole slaw. Thats it. Other than drinks, there's nothing else on the menu. There's no other dipping sauce except ketchup for your fries. if you want options, go somewhere else, but for the price, any place you choose wont have an option as good as cane's secret sauce. In my opinion, the sauce is the reason to go to this place. Its the anchor with a strong supporting cast. The thick buttered Texas toast dipped in the cane's sauce is honestly one of the best things Ive ever eaten. The chicken tenders are always hot and crispy. The fries and cole slaw are solid, nothing special though. The sauce is NOT thousand island dressing. It may vaguely look like thousand island, but it tastes nothing like it. If you're curious as to whats in the sauce google raising canes sauce. I promise. It aint salad dressing. Two tips: eat the chicken while its hot and swap out the slaw for an extra toast.

The food is hot and tasty. Great fries. The sauce is awesome. Very simple menu. Great for late night and a quick lunch. Great service. Everyone is really nice and cares. Also, cute dog pictures everywhere.

These are just chicken fingers. That's just cole slaw. French fries are just floppy french fries. Cane's sauce is good, tastes something like ranch + bbq sauce. The bread was garlicly/salty and really good. Everything else was boring and a little undersalted.

Love this place. Delicious! The chicken is a traditional batter. It is not over crispy like Popeye's (also from Louisiana). It is NOT Raising Cain's Cajun chicken. Don't expect over spiced chicken. The sauces are great. Special sauce or honey mustard. The name says it all "chicken fingers". Don't expect a grilled chicken with tater tots and Waldorph salad. Texas toast is great fries are average. These are best chicken fingers. KFC and Popeye's don't.hold water. I drive 15 miles thru traffic for these.

Unimpressed. Greasy and the canes sauce sucks! I would love the option of gravy but why bother. Bubba's is better!

I've tried this place numerous times and I'm just not impressed. To say this chain started in Baton Rouge, LA the chicken is very bland and expensive. The remoulade sauce is good and Texas toast is a treat and I've had better lemonade especially from another chicken chain lol but overall it's not worth the price.
