This place has been excellent on every visit. When I come to the Tullahoma area, I like to go to Philliago's for lunch. Every time, I have taken my toddler son. They have an outside patio that is newly decorated and great for kids. The staff/owners are always kind and you can tell that they care about people as well as food. As far as the food goes, it is easily the best place in town to get a sandwich. I regularly get the philly, and it has been great every time. My mom got the Foogasm wrap, and I may change my staple order. It was awesome! The place is usually closed on Sunday and Monday, but since they happened to be there today(a Monday), they opened up the kitchen and made us lunch. I have been impressed with the atmosphere of this hole in the wall bar/sandwich shop every time. I have never been for dinner, but know that they have cookouts and that their newly decorated patio would be perfect. Their beer selection is pretty good. They have all the standards as well as a few local beers. This place consistently exceeds expectations. The only downside is that the bar area and inside can get pretty smoky when it is busy.

The location is comfortable and historic. The owners obviously take pride. The food was the highlight in this small TN town. Great quality, very flavorful and fresh salmon/crab cakes/fried green tomatoes appetizer. We liked the local beers on tap from the new brewery in town. Our appetizer was superb. We'll be back! Great day date!!
Very nice atmosphere and would recommend for the special occasion. The prices for menu items were reasonable but a little high. But the specials were much more expensive then we would have thought and they didn't provide a price when telling us about the specials. Ceasar salad. .. $6 Amberjack (fish) maybe 8 oz.... $21.... We have never had Amberjack so can't do a direct comparison. ..but in comparison to other fish it seemed overcooked and dry. It was served with a cold corn salsa that was ok New York strip. .12oz..... $35... Would never have ordered a piece of steak if I had known the price. It had good flavor and was cooked correctly but was burnt in spots. Served with home made string fries which were ok. Overall we thought they had a very upper scale (and limited) menu for a part of town that isn't particularly upscale. Good for the special occasion but not a weekly event. Staff was very friendly and attentive as far as checking on us and refilling our glasses
Came for lunch based on Yelp reviews. Glad I did. Really good food and great service. Had the Turkey Brie melt, house salad, fried green tomatoes, and cobbler. Buttermilk Fried green tomatoes were some of the best.

Recommended by my sister, who RAVES about these scones, we stopped in one afternoon after a disappointing hunting morning, and I was swept away from any negativeness the second i walked through the cute little doors. Smells of fresh baked scones and freshly brewed specialty coffees, with a heavenly aroma of chocolate and other sweets, smack you in the face as soon as you walk in. Displays of deliciousness arouse your curiosity, and now the only worry you have in the world is,... Loaded Cheddar Bacon Scone? Or that delicious looking white chocolate raspberry? Gelato.... or Sorbetto? Espresso?... Chai Latte?... Caramel Macchiato...? Or maybe even a Caramel Mocha Frappe for a nice hot Tullahoma morning...? Decisions, decisions... No matter what you order, you will be pleased. (Unless you are in a hurry- this is not the place one should be in a hurry...) Awesome little "kitchy" atomsphere,... Takes you back to the Renaissance period. Take a load off upstairs and play some games even,.. They have em'! We didn't even realize we spent about 3 hours here our first trip, Playing chess, conversing over the pictures and figurines, and just getting lost in the delicious food! Some favorites: Loaded potato soup that "tastes like mama made it", Turkey Havarti Panini, and the Bacon Cheddar scone I love this nice change of pace from the general chain restaurants the rest of the town has to offer.
Visiting from Florida, we always look forward to checking out the local eateries. This was a true gem of a find. Everything about the building was just plain enjoyable. Terrific atmosphere, warm and welcoming. The food was so good, I ordered twice in order to sample more delights. Breakfast casserole was my favorite. Service was top notch and very friendly. It's worth a side trip off your route just for the atmosphere alone.
I owe it all to Yelp that we found this place. After our visit to a nearby Winery, and in-between our trip to Jack Daniels, we stopped in for lunch. I've only been there the once so I can't speak to how busy it gets or how slow the service might be on Friday afternoons. I don't want to discount the reviews of other yelpers except to say that our particular visit was very relaxing. It has the "Stick around awhile" appeal of a Starbucks, but with more of a local "Irish" touch. I ordered a Reuben and a Nutty Irishman. The Reuben was passing decent, but the Nutty Irishman was DELICIOUS. I'm not sure I would stop in here just for the food, but certainly for the drinks and the atmosphere. It absolutely was the perfect stop to fill our tanks before our next stop.

Smoked chicken is so moist, tender and flavorful (my favorite). Ribs are so tender the meat is barely holding on to the bone. All meats are smoked in site. Baked beans and cole slaw are made fresh each day and are the best around. The toast is a thick piece of French bread buttered and grilled - and catfish is fried to perfection. I wish I had not been so full as their homemade cakes looked wonderful! So glad we stopped here for lunch!
Yummy and quick service. Busy and popular just the kind of place I like to eat! Had the pork BBQ plate with two sides for lunch. Good portions and tasty.
Mediocre food with small portions-very rarely do we ever smell smoke actually coming from the barbecue restaurant. It's almost as if they don't smoke onsite or they buy their barbecue somewhere else. The desserts same homemade and were pretty good

Stopped by here again, this time tried the food and it was well above average, particularly in selection and variety. Good sandwiches and burgers. Very attentive staff. This will always be the first place I stop for food when in Tullahoma.
It was smoky so had doubt first... got buffalo chicken wrap and wow! The sauce was awesome and perfect! So were the fries!!
For years my favorite was a Rueben sandwich. They are under new management and no longer serve a Rueben. Out their back door, and down an alley, is Lincoln's. They served the best Rueben I have had in a long time...better than Daddy Billy's.

Our favorite local Mexican! Gus and Omsr treat us like family! I wish they had better salsa with cilantro at least!
Late review - I actually visited in the month of September. Not being from the area, and barely knowing where we were (down the road from the Bourbon trail, I think) - this was a place that was recommended to us by the ladies in the shoe store just a few doors down. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and good staff. Lunch was served quickly, portions were a good size, food was appetizing and good quality and price. I would recommend it to others in the area.
Pretty decent for a Mexican restaurant in small town Tennessee. I've been here a few times and enjoyed the food greatly. Recent, I had a hankering for tacos and ordered four carnitas tacos to go, which came out in roughly 5 minutes... Bam! Chips and salsa were included (we got the house regular and a bonus HOT as well) and each taco came with two tortillas (i appreciate being given the choice of corn or flour) and enough filling to make two decent sized tacos out of them. I thought the carnitas were some of the tastiest I've had lately--they were garnished with the minimal (and authentic) addition of chopped onions and cilantro, just the perfect amount of salt. Pico would've been a good addition but I'm not crying too much. Sadly, the tacos were so delicious I wasn't able to take any photos before wolfing them down. As to location and ambiance: aside from being in a strip mall, this isn't a bad place! Trivia night was fun and I see plenty of families and groups in here, though the interior is a little dark. I would say this is your best bet for Mexican food in this town. The only bummer is I can't find cabeza or lengua anywhere anymore.

Go for the cuban sandwich
Went in with the family for an early Sunday evening burger. We were looking for something better than the typical fast food fare so we dropped in to Fast Jack's. I had been here a couple of times before when the place was packed and my burger had been slightly undercooked. This time, the place was almost empty and all of our burgers were cooked perfectly. So, if you are looking for a tasty burger in the Tullahoma area, definitely give these folks a try. If the place is packed (and it usually is) I would recommend ordering your burger a degree more done(?) than you normally would, otherwise, get a breakfast burger with onion rings and enjoy!
A nice local place to eat. The restaurant and bar is split in to two buildings. The bar side you can smoke. But there is still a bar at the restaurant which is nice if you just want a beer or drink and not have to smell the smoke. The bartenders and waiters/waitresses are always nice. Try the wings, onion rings, chicken and waffles, or pretty much anything on the menu. The food always comes out fast. Only thing is prices are a little high. You must check out this place. You won't regret it.
