    Freshly made hamburgers - no heat lamps - means you wait a few minutes for your order. (No hardship on a gorgeous day at an outdoor table just a few minutes outside Great Smoky Mountains National Park.) It also means crisp lettuce, cool tomato slices, a tastier hamburger and maybe the best meal for your money in the vicinity of the Park. This is a great place to hit for lunch or an early dinner if you're making the trip to Cades Cove for a bear-jam. (Traffic jam due to any sighting of wildlife on the beautiful single-lane Cades Cove loop.) After a few days of pricy tourist dining in Garlinburg, this little burger and ice cream spot is a delightful find.

    If you're in the area, don't overlook this gem as just another dive burger place. The Burger Masters deliver great throwback burgers and delish fries -- totally hit the spot after a morning of fishing. All made to order. Top it off with a malt (yes, real malt powder, not that Communist liquid malt) or other ice cream treat. A worthwhile food coma awaits you. Update: did tubing at the River Rat next door a couple of days later, and stopped by BM again. Two words -- Yes, malts.

    Such a cute place with a feel of simpler times. Located in a cute a frame building. Ordered soft serve dipped cone, hot fudge cake and sundae. All were excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Bring cash or check because credit cards are not accepted. look for the old police car in front that you can't miss.

    Exactly what you want on vacation - burgers, fries, shakes, and cokes. The food was awesome, the atmosphere was perfect. Food tastes like it should, before we got into low fat this and low cal that nonsense at your chain restaurants. Had a BLT and sweet potato fries and it hit the spot. Vanilla shakes and a hot fudge sundae to top it off!

    Great little stop for burgers and fries before heading into the park. Our burger was made to order - fresh and juicy. Best burger we had while in the Smokies. And the chili fries were yummy goodness that you had to eat with a fork! Don't pass up this little place, it's a hidden gem. Super friendly staff too.

    I would give them more stars if I could. Let's just say that ice cream is my weakness but good laaawwwd! If you are ever in the Knoxville area you NEED to hit this little place up. Not only do they have amazing ice cream, they have burgers and side items too. I definitely recommend a simple vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. The idea is simple but the ice cream is better left simple because of its creamy and silky taste. The chocolate it's dipped in is not your regular dipping. You can tell that it's real authentic dark chocolate. If you don't stop by this little gem while you're I'm town, then you're better off driving off a cliff. This place stole my heart and it will make your heart happy. Guaranteed.

    We just got out of the mountains on our motorbikes and were looking for a spot for lunch. We saw the Burgermaster Drive In and pulled over. The place was decorated to the gills for fall and Halloween! The staff was incredibly prompt and very nice. We ordered a grilled cheese, patty melt, coleslaw and cheese fries to share. Our food was out within ten minutes and everything was just as we expected. My only complaint was that the fries were a bit too soggy for my liking, BUT, they use cheese sauce instead of melted cheese, which is almost always a bonus! They also serve milkshakes and ice cream, so I gotta finish this review and go back up to the window and order dessert!

    To begin, the people there were polite and personable. They are extremely pet friendly! With that alongside the fun decorum made for a great place to sit and eat. The ice cream was delicious and light, and our cheeseburger was mouthwatering and savory. I wish I lived closer so we could bring our dog and eat some more burger!

    Every time I'm riding through the mountains I stop here for ice cream. They have dipped cones, milk shakes and flurries. They have a food menu as well, but I've never tried it. The ice cream is some of the best I've had. They offer vanilla, chocolate and twist soft serve. The ice cream is extremely creamy and just delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the delicious treats here. Not to mention the staff is always super friendly.

    This place has been around quite a while and it's always been consistently good, the customer service is always great and the burgers & fries taste like something you would get at a 1950s diner or drive in. This is the best place to get a burger in the area as well and your last good stop for a burger before the National Park too.
