Please please do not go here. This is by far one of the worst Shoneys I've ever been too. People were sneezing all over the food. I'd rather drive to all the to the Shoneys off church street in Murfreesboro because they are the best one in the middle Tennessee area

I went here for my first and only time. I opted for the lunch buffet. There was a VERY limited selection and it was really bad, totally not worth the money. The place was empty and the waitress didn't care to check on our drinks. I sat there most of the time with an empty glass. 0 stars, save you're money and go elsewhere

We visited this Shoney's for the first time in a few years, we don't go to places like this much, but wanted a cheap meal with lots of choices. It's easy to say that this visit will be our last. There were very few people eating there when we visited. We were seated after a reasonable wit since the girl seating us was at the register with another customer. When we sat down, the waitress came and asked what we would like, I asked what toppings came on a certain burger. The waitress stated she didn't know, that it was only her second day. Understandable, but instead of finding out, she stood there staring at me. So I said "well I guess bring me the mystery burger." The food on the bar was cold and dried out. The waitress didn't come and check in at all, so most of the meal we went without drinks. Finally, when I went to the register to pay, every single employee looked at me waiting to pay, and ignored me. The one waitress that had been taking money earlier in our visit stood talking to some patrons, who were her friends. Finally, another girl said "I'll be right with you" but then proceeded to go to the kitchen to get herself something to drink before allowing me to pay for our meal. Absolutely terrible service, and the food wasn't spectacular either. I could have paid less and gotten better food and service at McDonald's. If you are considering stopping at this Shoney's, please think again. You'll be happier elsewhere.

The breakfast we ate was good (but seriously it's pretty hard to mess up bacon, sausage, and French toast sticks)... The service (waitress primarily) was horrid! We're from up north and she had an attitude the whole time.. She would visit tables around us and ask them if they needed anything then intentionally skip over ours....

There rarely is a positive experience here every time we come. They never have all their food available and lately what they have had tastes awful. The only positive point we occasionally have is our server. Other than that-not worth the trip!

Ick! When I was a kid, Shoney's was rockin'. Whole families would go and it was a social event, but not anymore. Their once packed restaurants seem to have only a handful of patrons every time I have gone in the last few years. I took a look at the bar on my recent visit and it looked fine with soup, salad and hot food items. But looks can be deceiving. The hot veggies turned into mush under my fork. They sit in water for hours and cook all day in the heat from the bar. Gross. And the rolls and cornbread were absent. They used to be known for their cabbage beef soup and I wanted some, but the pot was only about a quarter of the way full. I checked it out with the ladle and was not surprised that it was only broth. People get a ladle full and they hold it against the inside of the pot to strain off most of the liquid. Duh! Someone who keeps that bar stocked all day should have figured that out. My waitress told that person 3 times and it was never replaced. On top of that, none of the food had any seasoning. It was the most bland food I have ever tasted. I told everything to the assistant manager who rang me up and she apologized profusely and was very interested. At that point I was going to leave and wasn't looking for anything, but she offered me a discount. I thought that was nice of her. I thanked her and left. When I got to the car, I looked at the receipt and was quite surprised. She discounted . . . one dollar. That's only enough to irritate me. I would prefer a small, but polite apology and let me be on my way. The dollar just felt like an insult. This place is not worth your time.

JUST SAY NO! We were looking for an American Buffet and decided to give Shoney's a try. It was the worst idea I think we've ever had. The food on the buffet was just plain horrible. None of us could stomach it. After being disgusted by nearly everything I spoke with the manager who did refund part of our bill. He also suggested that "next time" we try their made to order food because it was quite good. Seeing as how they use the same items that were on the buffet I would guess that this probably isn't really accurate. I won't ever be returning to this place again! Seriously, just don't do it!
