Good portion. Bit weird listening to Chinese music in a Japanese restaurant but other than that, it was great.

Way too much rice on their sushi and sashimi. The amount of rice was too overwhelming and each piece was mouthful. Had to literally take some rice off to taste the sushi better. Not extremely impressed but can't be too picky around this area...

Great prices, great food, great customer service with dine in and carry out. So happy to see a good sushi place here in Smyrna. They even have an Order online option on their website.

I cannot rave about Ninja Sushi enough! I frequented another local sushi establishment before, but I like to try new things. So, when Ninja opened, I decided to check it out. I was blown away by it! The staff is quick, courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is average for a local Japanese joint, but the food!!! Looking at the prices in the menu, I did not expect to get the quality of sushi that I did. Their prices are so reasonable for how delicious and fresh the sushi is! I have visited over and over again for the $6.99 sushi lunch special. You get two sushi rolls plus soup and salad for this crazy low price. I always get the Philadelphia and switch it up between the spicy salmon and eel roll. I have visited for dinner one time and was not disappointed there either. We had a large party and ordered one of the boats. It was plenty to feed all of us and not one thing that didn't taste good. Ninja is the best sushi in smyrna, hands down!

I sampled Ninja with a friend recently, and I was, in general, pleasantly surprised. The advertising and the signage for this place had made it seem a little fast-foody for my taste - but this is not the case. The mildly creepy statue at the entrance made me giggle. The dining room is well organized and very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, quick to greet and take orders, and kept glasses filled. Now the important stuff: the food! In order: the miso soup was very flavorful. The salad was fresh but the dressing was watery and just okay. The sushi was all very fresh and tasty and well presented - maybe not quite as creative as others I have had, but not as expensive, either. I took home a to-go order for others that was prepared with just as much care. I will definitely be back! Sushi is a rare treat for me, and I'm happy to find another nearby place I can count on for good quality when the hankering hits.

This is a fairly new place in Smyrna and I had been meaning to check it out for a while after my boyfriend and I got a bunch of coupons in the mail. So we finally went a couple Fridays ago to get some sushi. My boyfriend isn't a huge sushi fan though, so he was happy to know that there was hibachi available as well. This is a different place in the fact that there are no hibachi grill tables, they just have the hibachi meals. We opted for the crab rangoon to start, which was better than I've had at other places. My boyfriend got the steak and chicken hibachi and said it wasn't too bad (I mean, can you really mess up hibachi anyway?), but kind of greasy. I got the yum yum roll, and the shrimp tempura roll. I always seem to be getting the shrimp tempura... Anyway it was good, on par with other places that I've been to. The yum yum roll was actually really tasty, and was a pretty good size. It's hard for me to get filled up on sushi but with these two rolls, I was completely full. So that's a plus. Overall this place was pretty decent, and it wasn't hardly busy at all when we went around 6:30 on a Friday night. It's in an area where there are quite a few restaurants, so maybe that's why they're not that busy. Excited that they have online ordering so if I did want sushi, I could just order and pick it up on the way home. Would recommend if you don't want to drive into the city and have a hankering for some sushi.

Ok folks here's the deal.. This place is spot on and all the sushi is great!!! We had a bunch of different tunas and salmon and 3 different rolls.. Nothing at all was just ok everything was super yummy and fresh tasting.. After moving here from Seattle and loving all the sushi there this place is just as good as any of my regular sushi places back in Seattle.. I will be back soon.. And you should stop by as well..

I work in the area & was excited to see a new place open up. A few of my coworkers had tried it & said they liked it so I thought I'd order some food to go. I was able to order from my phone through the app "Beyond Menu Food Delivery". It was very simple to use & convenient. I ordered the lunch special, for 7.99, well 8.99 because I picked fried rice. The other options I chose was crunchy shrimp roll & hibachi shrimp. They wasn't a extra charge for shrimp, which kind of had me wondering. I picked the time pick up my order & that was that. The restaurant inside looks nice. It has a nice mood too it, not flashy, but doesn't look cheap. The staff greeted me & we very friendly and I was on my way with my food. The food - overall I wasn't very impressed. The hibachi shrimp tastes like cooked shrimp with a teriyaki sauce poured over it. The fried rice didn't taste overly fresh. The crunchy shrimp roll was 4 pieces, the rice was room temperature & the shrimp had lost its crunch. I don't know if maybe the lunch specials are precooked for efficiency or what, but my food didn't taste fresh. The special also comes with miso soup that I didn't care for & the vegetable tempura was okay, I'd rather have had steamed vegetables. On a positive note I enjoyed the ginger dressing on the salad. I don't know if that comes from a bottle or not. Overall I'd maybe try it again in a dine in setting, when the restaurant is busy, but I won't do the lunch to go order again.

We have eaten here several times. The rolls are really good. So far our favorite is the Yum-Yum roll. The staff has always been friendly and courteous.

Dont get the ramen. Squid salad and sushi were delicious. Gyoza pan-fried are awesome and you have to try it. The ramen was not really ramen. The soup didn't have any flavor and the noodles didn't taste like they were cooked all the way. We will be going back for the gyoza and sushi for sure.

Dine in sushi was delicious. They don't cook the hibachi in front of you. Its menu order only. A great small place for luncheon. Service wasnt the best. The waitress was a bit slow moving. But overall the food was good.

We dropped in around 3:00 PM (Saturday). Our waiter was very pleasant and the rolls were great. Ninja performed quite well and it looks like this is our new place for reasonably priced Sushi, Try the Yum Yum Roll!

My wife and I have been here about 5-6 times now. They have pretty decent food, good sushi and really great service. Easily the best Asian restaurant in Smyrna by leaps and bounds. Bento boxes are excellent, all sushi is fresh and well prepared. We have had quite a few different menu items and enjoyed everything except the boring, broth soup they bring with entrees. It seems like a family owns/operates it and are extremely eager to give you a great experience. Try it out, I doubt you'll be disappointed. Great house Sake too...

Very good sushi rolls; wasn't in the mood for nigri so can't comment but the slice of raw ahi on my roll was very flavorful. Good miso soup but it's not that hard to do wrong; yummy crab ragoons as well. My daughters (2 & 5) split the kids chicken hibachi and it was the perfect size; not too small and not so large that tons came home with us. Hubs had steak and chicken hibachi and enjoyed it as well. Nice atmosphere, although if your looking for the whole meal prepared as you watch, won't find it here; personally, I like this better than going to a Japanese steakhouse, all the yummy food without the show. Limited sake selection, had 1 cold unflitered, hot sake and only cold option was fruit flavored; since we enjoy a dry sake, went with the hot which was decent but we prefer cold sake. Overall, we'll definitely be back!

Best sushi lunch special in town. 2 Rolls with soup and salad for $6.99 or 3 rolls for $9.99. Quality is great and staff is friendly. Overall great place to get your sushi fix and in a convenient location too!!

This place is great! The decor is super nice. I went with my son who is 6. He ordered the Hibachi Shrimp. I believe for lunch it was 7.99. It came with the standard soup, salad w/ ginger dressing, shrimp, fried rice, and veggies. They don't have actual hibachi tables here which I think is a plus because that can take FOREVER when you are sitting there with a child. I ordered sushi and a side of fried rice. They have a wide selection of sushi. The waitress was super nice and attentive. They have a few TVs and were playing the Titans game when we were there. I do have to say that they music selection was quite funny. One song would play that would be japanese and the next song would be..say..Jason Aldean. The entire time we were there it alternated between country and japanese! Just funny to me.. :)

I've been to Ninja Sushi several times now since it opened and have really liked it thus far. The hibachi items are not cooked in front of you here but cooked in the kitchen. The hibachi items are ok but the main reason I go to Ninja is because the sushi is really good and affordable. The special rolls such as the dragon roll and volcano roll are delicious but the maki rolls are all great too. They currently have a good pick 2 or 3 roll lunch combo that comes with soup and a salad for 7 or 10 dollars respectively. Dinner will set you back a few more dollars but is still cheap for decent sushi. Service was ok when I've been but I'm never a very demanding customer. Overall I like Ninja Sushi and will continue to go back as long as they keep their prices reasonable.

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I agree, this is our new favourite sushi spot in town. We ordered miso soup to start then shared sushi rolls: philadelphia roll, hard rock roll, wasabi roll, and ronin roll. We also shared yellowtale and salmon sashimi before green tea ice cream for dessert. The presentation was fantastic and everything was delicious. The service was great; very positive, happy, and attentive. Would recommend to anyone looking for good sushi in the area! We will be returning!
