Poor customer service, very unprofessional. Waitress wasn't really rude but just clueless. She would stand on one end of a table of 8 and everyone had to yell their order out multiple times because - gasp - she couldn't hear them! The drink orders were wrong, and yet she questioned if we were sure about that before then blaming it on someone in the back. The food - mostly burnt chicken, way over salted fries, the burger would have been perfect if it had been served as described on menu with hickory smoked bbq sauce, which I never saw. The cheese stick appetizer was nasty with grease. My wife never received one of her sides and when she asked about it the second time the waitress said, "Oh, we're out of that." And then walked off. This was my third visit to Legends and my third horrible experience. I hope to God it is the last time I ever eat here. The only reason I'm leaving 2 stars is because the fruit tea was tasty and the rolls were good.

My friends and I ended up here on Saturday afternoon for an early dinner before a night of drinking for my boyfriend's birthday. They had all been here numerous times because of the cheap beer and food. We got there around 3:30 and there were quite a few people there considering it was the middle of the afternoon but we were able to sit down at the bar right away. They have a pretty damn good happy hour. It lasts from 2:00-7:00 every day (even on weekends) and most draft beer is $1.50. Score! They also have a burger special from 3:00-4:00 (not sure if it's every day or just certain days) where it's $3.99 just for the burger. I got fries with mine and it was slightly over $6. Still not a bad deal at all. I opted for the Mushroom and Swiss Burger, and it was pretty decent. It wasn't the best burger I've ever had by far, but for $6 I'm not really expecting anything magnificent. But it was still good, although slightly greasy (excellent for pre-drinking food though). Since I just moved to the area and the food and beer are so cheap, I can say that I'll probably be back here at some point. Especially since all my friends seem to like it and we're all cheapskates so the price can't be beat.

Good spacious place. Great service! I was in the private room with the pool table. Catfish was well fried, standard baked potato. Good eats!

I give it 4 stars due to the fresh salad bar, reasonable beer prices, good food, and good service! We just rediscovered Legends! Billboard on 24 was a great reminder! We've been there twice over the last couple of months! We will return soon! Very good value!

From San Diego to Tallahassee - LEGEND's ranks upper 10%! Hannah was my server (very cheerful & attentive) made an excellent recommendation of mouthwatering tender Prime Rib - full of flavor with salad bar & baked potato! Homemade roles served with a honey butter! Professional wait staff nicely dressed in black dress shirts with ties & black slacks smiling & happy. Dessert was cheesecake & fresh coffee! I'm making Legend's Restaurant one of my FAVORITES since I love great food, great service & atmosphere reasonably priced! Looking forward to making Legend's one of my top 5 BEST IN CLIMATE/FOOD/TASTE places to go!

The worst service (slow) and burnt food when it finally arrived. First visit food was cold, second visit order was wrong and third visit food burnt.... NEVER AGAIN!!!

Awful doesn't even begin to describe it! Drinks were sent back twice and still awful, they weren't even drinkable! We even tried to order something else and we're still beyond disappointed! We ordered the spinach queso dip and the chips were so stale that they couldn't even be chewed!

Excellent service on Saturday. Loved the salad bar that was included with our meals. Food was delish and perfectly cooked. It's rare that you find a happy hour on Saturday, but we were pleasantly surprised to get those prices! We will be back.

I ate here last week when I was passing through on business based on Yelp recommendations. Ordered catfish and was disappointed. Fish was cooked right but really bland and my fries were chewy. Rolls were very good and slaw was ok. I should have considered why order fish in a steak place.

I ended up here so randomly for an awards dinner of a group I volunteer with. It's basically a Logan's that not as corporate of a chain, even though they have 3 or 4 locations I noticed. We were in a private room for 32, and there were two pool tables in there. Odd, but OK. Not fancy pool tables, but the folks trying them out didn't mind. Servers were a little overwhelmed by our group, and getting drink orders and then entrees was a little longer than should've been, and a little confusing for them. The food was fine. We got our salads after other folks at our table, and some of the "adornments" atop my dining companion's salad were oddly absent from mine. Did they run out of onion crisps, I wonder? My entrée was fine, a chicken breast smothered in onions, mushrooms, and cheese - and a baked sweet potato. No complaints really once it arrived. Hubby was with me and he had ribs where he reported he was pleasantly surprised. Would I drive from Franklin to visit here again? Not unless there is some event like the reason why I was there in the first place, but if you find yourself nearby, sure.

This is the place the locals go... you don't find many out of towners here. My wife and I heard about this place from a few friends and were pretty impressed. They have LONG happy hours - 8pm every day. This includes 1.50 mugs and $3, 25oz mugs.. Can't go wrong there.. That about sums up the bar, minus some wine and margarita's. I had the turkey club sandwich, it was pretty good, minus the bacon they forgot.. but it was found about halfway through :) The wife had the bbq chicken nachos, which were also pretty good. We weren't in the mood for heavy food, but look forward to going back and having ribs or something of the like.

Our experience really started when I called to see if they take reservations and was told "no." I then asked how long the typical wait might be for a 6:00 arrival on a Friday night and was told "I have no idea -- it depends on how many people are here." Ya think?! So my first advice would have been to better train anyone representing the restaurant on the phone. She might have asked others who work Friday nights, perhaps, or handed me to a manager since I called well before the dinner rush. When we got there, we must have been seated by the same young lady. She seemed very uncomfortable with people. Kudos to Legends for giving her a job with the public because I'm not sure I would take that kind of chance. The turn came once we were seated, which was immediately even though it was 6 p.m. on a Friday night. This place is HUGE. My husband noticed how the silverware shined, and I noticed how clear the glasses were. Lack of cleanliness is a real pet peeve of mine, and I eat out 30+ times a month. I have never -- repeat, NEVER -- been in a restaurant this clean. We commented on this later to someone who appeared to be a manager and asked him if they make a particular effort in this area and he told me they polish the utensils they wrap up for the tables. It shows. The table and condiments were equally clean. I had baby backs and my husband had rare prime rib. Both were delish. The baby backs are cooked without sauce, so they aren't your average ribs. I really enjoyed the change of pace. They also have a marinade and their own barbeque sauce that are also out of the ordinary. The cole slaw and fries weren't unique but they were both good, and I'm a critic on both so I'd be saying so if they weren't good. The slaw was mild, the fries cooked just past golden, which is the way I like them because when they are a little brown, it really brings out the flavor of the potato. My husband said the asparagas was excellent. We also enjoyed the blackberry sangria. The only part of the meal that needed work was the bread. When bread is served with anything other than regular butter, it should be introduced as such. They serve some sort of honey-cinnamon butter or some such thing and I'm a purist so I only smelled it. But I would have appreciated a warning from the waiter. I pulled apart a roll and it just shriveled as the steam escaped from it. It was at that stage where it is no longer doughy but the structure isn't yet firm enough to hold. We watched the other roll shrivel as it cooled until it went from being a beautifully rounded bun to a flat-tire piece of bread. They should have been able to tell from the color that it wasn't quite ready to be served. But that cleanliness thing was a refreshing change-of-pace from the average dining experience. And our server, Tony T. was very friendly, plus the menu had lots of items we'd like to try. We're going back for sure.

This place has everything! Steaks, lasagna, hamburgers, shrimp, fish, lobster, etc! The steak was amazing. The cocktail sauce they serve with their shrimp is the best I have ever had! They sing happy bday to the birthday guest and bring them a TO DIE FOR HUGE piece of chocolate cake. The kids loved their food as well. This place is not overly expensive and is worth every penny. You have got to try it!

I went to this location for a friend's birthday dinner. Not much to say about this place. It is a middle of the road resturant. Neither good nor bad. The steaks are ok. The decor is ok...border line not ok. If you want to do a steak lunch or dinner at an affordable price. Had the Downtown Steak which had very little flavor to speak of and mash potatos were a bit off. Whatever you do, do NOT have the spinach! Just don't do it to yourself. I mean, really, don't go here unless it is your last option before starvation. I've had better meals at home.

I hesitate to give this place even 1 star. If this is where the locals go, please get me outta here. From our server, who asked us if Cabernet was a red or white wine, to our overdone steaks, barely warm pot roast, over salted fried pickles, this place was a nightmare. Stay away.

Chicken and Burger sandwichs are great. Steaks are Waffle House quality, beer is cheap domestic (Bud/Miller) no micro-brews. The place is great for take out, when your just to tired to make dinner.
