Hands down the best pizza in town. They serve it to you hot and fresh with the up most kindness. I've loved pizza since I was a child but they made me appreciate it that much more. All the ingredients are fresh and the doe is handmade. None of that freezer crap you get at pizza hut and domino's. There Philly cheese steak sandwich is to die for and the hot wings are crispy with so much flavor you'll want to take an order home for later. I wasn't disappointed with anything on the menu. Good work Genos I guarantee I'll be back for more and the best part is they don't close until 2:00 am and its hard to find anything else cheaper or open that late.

If you are in town I highly recommend this as a must stop. I been here several times on vacation and this is one of my favorite places to eat. I love the bread it is baked fresh and homemade. The pies are delectable and food is absolutely delicious. You can tell there is a lot of care taken in preparing food.I recommend sitting outside it's absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Just note though they do not serve alcohol on the patio.
The absolute BEST dining experience I've had in a very long time!!! From start to finish this was absolutely AmAZing!!!!! First of all we had the perfect waiter (Paul) he took excellent care of us the whole way through from suggesting the pork chops ( which were awesomely tender and juicy) to refilling drinks and just making sure we had everything we needed. We never felt "bothered" (like u do sometimes when a waiter 'hovers') but we did feel taken care of. All of the food was delicious I would esp recommend the jalapeño corn pudding and the pork chops. The bread is to die for!! Would def come back!!!! Thank you Paul for a wonderful dining experience!!! You are the Best!!!!
Fantastic food and atmosphere! If you are in the Pigeon Forge area it is well worth the wait. Locals love their quiche and the chicken almond is delicious! The fried green tomato BLT is a great twist on a classic sandwich. We ordered two kids meals and the boys loved them, they choose the fresh fruit side and it was not the typical honeydew and cantaloupe chunks, it was large cuts of tropical fruit. Great food, friendly staff and the warm fireplace make this a repeat destination!

We were a party of 13 coming back from a long hike -- saw reviews on Yelp! and decided to give this place a shot. It's a small joint and they were a bit overwhelmed to see a large group. Each dish we ordered was fresh and tasted great. The staff was real casual and friendly. Don't miss this hidden gem!
Okay, this is awesome stuff. No pics because I ate it too fast. Sorry. But on with the review. First, the waiter Tony was very patient and informative as this was our first experience. Then, we ordered the Seasoned ground beef with black beans, rice and fried plantain, to split between my wife and I. On the side we had a beef empanada. That was enough for the both of us. We then split a Cuban coffee. OMG!!! The Flan for dessert was great stuff. My daughter and son-in-law were there, as well. My daughter had the same as us. My son-in-law had the Cuban Club. My wife and I went back the next day to take some stuff back to the cabin for every one. When I walked in, Tony recognized me right off. I got 3 beef empanadas and a ham croquet & a beef one. This was the first time we tried the croquets and they were so awesome. While I was waiting, of course I had coffee. Everyone back at the cabin just loved every thing and wanted more. Just our time in the area ran out. Wish we had one in our area.
I ran in quickly after a hot day at Dollywood and got a Cuban sandwich made to go. It was very good. I look forward to going back and trying some more of the menu.

To channel Homer Simpson: MMMM...DOH-NUT... When KKD puts up the "hot and fresh" sign, run to your nearest Krispy Kreme. I have yet to see another donut shop sell donuts right out of the donut maker. It's like eating crack in the shape of a donut. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. :-)
I am addicted to Krispy Kreme donuts....unashamed of it......and when they put on the HOT NOW sign, just get in line with everyone else.....and get at least a dozen, some coffee, pull over and stop in a parking lot close by.....eat as many as your tummy can hold. They are so delicate you can hardly hold them in your hand, don't worry about that part, just get them to your mouth somehow !! lol Trust me, you will not want to stop !! They are probably the most guilty pleasure I have [actually I have NO guilt whatsoever about it } UPDATE: On a recent trip here, was very disappointed to get very small donuts, and they just seemed to lack the airy lightness of previous visits.....What changed?? The photo pictured of the nine donuts is representative of the size we got, really small.......and they are pretty pricey for this small a donut !!! We have a home in Maryville and have discovered a little place there that beats Krispy Kreme hands down. Glad we found it, because we love good donuts. I will probably go back here to see if the last visit was just a fluke.....but will not be eager to do so.
I love some hot krispy kreme donuts! If you've never had them, you are missing out.

Old Mill Pottery House Cafe and Grill

Reviews:
Superior in every way to the restaurant across the street. Charming, casual, very bright interior with a lovely courtyard for al fresco dining. Nice, fresh menu items in nice portions which are far more manageable (and less heavy) than the Old Mill. The catfish fillets here are much better prepared than at the Old Mill -- and you still get the same amount for a lower price (but not all the other sides like at the Old Mill). It's also much less frantic than the Old Mill -- not quite as noisy and without the wait staff rushing around at top speed. Very highly recommended for the area, and best of all -- there is usually only a nominal wait.
Good quality food and a great outdoor seating atmosphere. My wife had a quality spinach quiche and her peach lemonade was great. My angus burger was decent and the fries were good too. My one daughter had awesome Mac and cheese and both got a fruit cup that was high quality and a decent portion.
Very good food, lovely service, drinkable wine. Great find in an area filled with chain restaurants and tourist traps.

Got a meatball sub, so amazing. I wish the brownie I had gotten was cooked more but the food was great and we were helped quickly. I'll definitely be going back
I don't know if it's because I am from the Midwest but I thought the service was incredibly slow. Ordered 3 pork n slaw sandwiches when the restaurant was nearly empty. Took about 25 minutes to get them (to go!!). The staff was friendly, but I really was baffled at why it took so long to get the food. sandwiches were great, though.
We stopped in and were immediately greeted by the owner. He was so kind and was so pleasant to talk to. He immediately then took our order. He asked my name and remembered it the whole time. The kids loved the pop machine. It was nice to have a variety of options. The food was absolutely delicious and was a great value for the price. I am sure we will come back before we leave. Because it's a great price, great food, and fantastic service!!!!

Everything we had (and we made a point to eat here twice) was fantastic. Especially enjoyed the dumplins, maple butter with corn fritters, country fried steak, pecan pie, and banana pudding! 5stars ++
Thanks to Yelp for introducing me to Old Mill -- also helped that fellow Atlanta Yelper Richard R gave them high ratings! If you're into good food and esp. generous portions, this is the place for you. We knew we were probably getting a lot of food when we saw almost every exiting person carrying take-out containers. It's further confirmed when you look at their menu -- every entree includes corn chowder soup, corn fritters, salad, dinner rolls, green beans, potatoes, and dessert. So while the prices may seem high for some (but not at all when compared to Atlanta standards), you're getting HUGE value! Service is very friendly, too. CORN CHOWDER & CORN FRITTERS W/ MAPLE BUTTER The soup and fritters are included with every entree. I think they're probably the best part of the meal. Esp. loved the fritters - w/ and w/o the maple butter. I know fried isn't good for me but those fritters were addictive! It reminded me of something but couldn't think of it - server said funnel cakes, and I said exactly! SALAD Nothing special but nice to have fresh veggies complement southern food :) But seriously by now, after eating soup/fritters/salad -- we were pretty full. DINNER ROLLS & GREEN BEANS Again, more complimentary sides go with your entree. Green beans were quite flavorful (aka, a little salty). GRILLED BONELESS PORK CHOPS - $18.99 Next time I'll get the fried pork chops but I did like the grilled flavor. Yes I tried to go "healthy". They were a little too salty though. And I couldn't believe I got THREE pork chops -- no surprise I had leftovers. The mashed potatoes were very good. FRESH ENGLISH MOUNTAIN RAINBOW TROUT - $19.99 Like the pork chops, I think the fried version is probably better. Mom got her fish broiled (tried to go healthy too), and it was on the bland side. I thought her baked potato was ok. PRIME RIB - $22.99 I thought it tasted pretty good but my dad thought it was bland. Honestly I don't know who orders prime rib at a southern restaurant but I'm guessing next time, he'll know better :) He liked his baked sweet potato, and I thought it was just ok. DESSERTS We tried the Pecan Pie, Blackberry Cobbler with Ice Cream, and Chocolate Cake. All very good - I'd probably recommend the pie and cobbler. Overall, great place to eat. Seems like the perfect place to check out esp. if you're not from Tennessee and you want to try some southern food. My parents said they'll come back but if I were ever to come back, I'd probably try the Southern Fried Chicken, Fried Pork Chops, Fried Rainbow Trout, Chicken & Dumplings, and Banana Pudding. Our server said his favorite is Turkey & Dressing, so I might try that too. FYI - they don't take reservations so it's probably recommended you go early to avoid a long wait. I was told to come before 5:30pm, otherwise expect a 30-45 min. wait. I'd also recommend coming during lunch - all the same entrees are $10.49. Also worth noting is this place is dry - they do not serve alcohol at all.
This place (and the Gatlinburg Pancake Pantry) should be your ONLY reason for visiting Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. You will leave fatter due to the delicious but completely unhealthy eats, fuller due to the large proportions but most importantly, you will leave knowing you just ate the best dinner EVER! My tip: Get there ahead of the dinner crowd or expect a wait! This place is VERY popular an often there is a wait.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Reviews:
Today was my and my boyfriends first time here and it was really good! The little burger is really big!! And we ordered the small fry after reading the reviews and yes the small fry is plenty for 2 people. 2 burgers, small fry, large drink costs around $18.00
The staff here are very friendly and respectful. It is easily noticeable that they enjoy to work at this establishment. The price for a bigger can range up to $8. They have a great variety of toppings you can add to your bigger allowing it to be made especially for you. The burgers can also be made into a single party or upgraded into a two patty. They are cooked on a grill in an open kitchen allowing the customer to witness the creation of their customized burger experience. The burger tastes great and is a must have, but Five Guys are known for more than just burgers. The fries are amazing as they are made from real potatoes, a fact that Five Guys Burger and Fries is proud to show off by having a board listing where the potatoes being used are grown. Speaking of fries a good tip would be know that a large fry can feed up to four people. This location also offers an outdoor patio where you can enjoy everything Pigeon Forge has to see! If the day happens to be gloomy you can have your burger alongside the indoor fireplace. In conclusion, If you're on a lookout for great burgers fries, and friendly service this is the place.
If you've never ate at a Five Guys your missing out. Food was great and my kids got the hot dogs and they looked really good.

If you want local flavor this little dive fits the delish bill perfectly! The biscuits are devine, the bacon is crisp, and the coffee is strong! Order the bacon waffle and you'll thank me! Service is friendly and quick and the butter is served plentiful and whipped. You could choose any pancake joint on the strip but this needs to be the first one!
I visited here this morning with my family for breakfast. It came highly recommended, however, sadly, it didn't live up to expectations. Our waitress was friendly, but when my chocolate chip pancakes arrived, they were lukewarm. They were tasty, but they would have been a lot better had they been hot. They sold some Smoky Mountain trinkets, which was a nice touch, but again, hot pancakes would have improved my experience.
After holding the door open for a lady she quickly took out her keys and locked it before me and my family could enter. Other folks entered the other unlocked door at same time. one of the rudest things I've had happened to me in a while. I knocked and asked why she locked the door on us she said "we close at two". She could have politely mentioned that before she locked the door on us. Even though it was 10 minutes till 2pm that's fine - it was just locking the door on us without saying anything as were all obviously approaching the door was very rude. Needless to say we didn't get a chance to eat.
