This is a New chain. The cheeseburger was very dry(I did not finished the burger, just couldn't). Bun was too cold. Even with big topping list the burger was tasteless and didn't look like burger.....There is. No relish on that topping list the burger was essentially, tasteless. I given the wrong plate even with a few customers in the place. Waitress seemed mad because it wasn't my order. I felt rushed. Waitstaff and management seems uninspired and lacked training. The shake was excellent, best thing going at hwy 55. I would choose other places for my burger fix. Nolensville have many options for cheeseburgers! Hwy 55, unfortunately, was a BIG disappointment and yet only three miles from my home. Oh well.

This is a new place in Nolensville, so expectations early should be tempered. I hope to wait a while and go back. It is important to support local as much as possible. With that said, I was not overly impressed with the food. For a small town, we have plenty of burger choices and this is not my favorite. The price is very good, but I would still go elsewhere. In my opinion, I thought hat he burger was over-seasoned which gave it an overly salty taste. My wife got the hotdog and just the appearance reminded me of he cheap hotdogs we used to get at a church bonfire. The fries were average and did not recover the plate. The best part of the experience was the staff. Friendly, fast and always around. I never ran out of soda and we were even sitting outside. I will be back, but it might be a few months to let them get their legs.

I stopped in here recently to check it out and was hoping for that 50s diner feel. It had it, but just a little. I was in the mood for a burger and milkshake, however their ice cream machine was broken so no milkshakes were had. Reading over other Yelp reviews, it seems like the ice cream machine being broken is a common theme. The burger itself was decent but not something I would go out of my way to crave again. The Orangeade drink was pretty good, but they charge 99 cents for a refill. Also they don't serve coffee at all. How can you be a 50s diner when you don't even serve coffee and you have no ice cream!? You are better off going to Steak 'n Shake. PROS -Decent cheeseburger -Tasty Orangeade CONS -Ice cream machine was broken...again -They don't serve coffee -They charge 99 cents for an Orangeade refill -Nothing really unique on the menu

Strengths: Great decor. Love the 50's theme. Friendly staff. Good but not great food. Opportunities: Limited menu. Service can be slow. Summary: In a crowded hamburger field in Nolensville, they don't set themselves apart. However not bad for a change of pace.

Tried it 3 times and that's it.. The decor is nice but the food and service are way below par. The burgers are dry as can be with no flavor. (Horrible). The onion rings are not good and the chili on the fries was cold and nasty. The Philly cheesesteak was full of bell peppers, cold and tasteless.. On top of all that the manager acts like he hates being there. Also herd that he won't even eat his own food... I'm staying away...

Located in a strip mall in Nolensville, this North Carolina-based table service burger chain has made its move into Tennessee. I have only eaten here once, but found it very good. The burgers, fries and shakes are all tasty, nothing outrageously great. Choices of fixings and cheeses. The fries are light and crispy. Shakes courtesy of a frozen custard machine. Prices are excellent. We fed three people for 20 dollars with tax. Also, the place looks good for families with kids. The decor and music celebrate the "Happy Days/ American Graffiti" version of the fifties and they serve kids' meals in a cardboard car. You have your choice in Nolensville of two "California" style burger places, Hwy 55 and Burger Shack. I am favoring Highway 55.

The service has improved greatly since my first visit. The food has too. He fries are still being over cooked but they have a good flavor. They remind me of the old drive-in diner in my home town. They Philly cheese steak sandwich was good This visit I took the 55 challenge. It was a lot to eat in 30mins but I beat it. Needless to say I won't be redeeming my free scoop of custard tonight. LOL. This place isn't Sperry's, so don't expect gourmet food. It is a burger joint and it does a pretty good job at burgers and fries. It is a good family hangout for an affordable meal and a fun night.

These guys have a pretty decent setup. The atmosphere is very kid-friendly and busy... neither of which I mean in a bad way. The burgers tasted fresh and well seasoned. The fries were nothing special but accented the burger quite well. The ice cream was delicious and made up for some of the unoriginal aspects of the meal. Our service was a bit of a turn off. After our food came out we were abandoned outside for a solid 30 minutes. We alerted a manager and the waitress admitted that she completely forgot about us. A couple of the burger toppings we ordered were absent as well. All in all, the waitress was very pleasant so it was forgivable because they are brand new; it was just not a good first impression. They did give me free ice cream though - and I'm glad I had it! I'll be back in a couple months to see if they got things a bit more organized.

For Nolensville this place is one of the better options. Burgers are solid and better than Burger Shack. Onion Rings were crispy and the fries were decent. The Diner vibe is quant and the staff is super friendly. The regular size burger is pretty small at 2.75oz so go for the 5.5oz option if you want more than a snack. The custard is great and the prices pretty standard. If you live in Nolensville it is worth the trip.

I've only ordered chicken items off the menu and it was alright for fast food standards... nothing special but not awful either. The staff is mostly young and I applaud them for getting out there and working. However young people will be young people so I don't think all the blame for mediocre customer service falls on their shoulders. A good, experienced manager who has worked with a younger staff could be a very valuable asset.

You know it's gonna be a bad experience when they serve ketchup with a cheese-steak. The wife ate there with her folks. I asked her to bring me home a cheese-steak, sans peppers. It's a burger place, and a chain at that. I should hope that whatever beef products they do have on their limited menu would be good. Alas... Pros: Lots of meat. Cons: No taste to said meat. Asked for no peppers. I got, no peppers, no onions, no flavor. The bun was pure rubber. I don't know what the cheese was supposed to be. I'm guessing "Swiss" based on the consistency, but I think it was actually "Goodyear". Meat was dry. No condiments, aside from copious ketchup, salt and pepper packets they threw into the bag. Maybe they realize the sandwich sucks? I'm no cheesesteak connoisseur, but damn. Take it off the menu if you can't figure it out. With all the burger options up and down Nolensville (and trust me, this fad will die in the next 2 years), why would anyone think that ANOTHER one, with lower quality food, would be a hit?
