Don't come here for quick service and good food. Come here because you are drunk, its two in the morning, and have a personal vendetta against McDonald's.

This establishment provides the example of what every restaurant should be doing - looking out for its patrons! We arrived at a late hour, yet the cashiers were kind and enthusiastic. After accidently upgrading our sizes, the cashiers went a step further and warned us about unpleasant guests in the vicinity and to be careful! Never have I experienced such kindness from a food establishment. Will be coming here often because of the great service we received!

Great location. Haven't really Ben inside so I can't comment on the inside amenities. However, this place really lacks a double drive thru window. At lunch time, the drive thru can get very long. But, the order is right and the food comes out hot and fresh. The drive thru for me is not a big problem but is when your a fast food restaurant. Key word "fast." People frequent fast food restaurants for speedy and correct service. The single drive thru window in the middle of West End. Yeaaa that's kind of a problem.

I might as well cut and paste Shawn H's review into this space.... This location is always clean and friendly but I never walk-in because it is so durn slooooooooooooooow. The drive thru is a tad better. Another toughie is the location, as it can be a major pain the arse to exit the parking lot with the awkward one-way and sometimes horrid West End traffic. Now that I'm done with being Debbie Downer, I can't emphasis on how a Wendy's drive-thru can save the day every now and then with healthier fast food options for when I can't slow down. The side salad and plain baked potato are low on the guilt scale.

I would never expect a fast food place to be 5-star, but I just want to warn the general public about this particular Wendy's location: AVOID IT. The last 3 times I've been there they have either been out of what I ordered or have had some sort of broken machine that kept them from making what I ordered. (Why do I keep going back? Because I'm apparently not very smart when I crave fast food.) The staff is just plain RUDE. Again, I'm not expecting 5-star service at a Wendy's, but I've been genuinely insulted/shocked on more than one occasion. This used to be my "I'm a little drunk and want a burger, so I'm gonna make whoever's driving drive through on our way home" place... Now even drunk me knows better. Go to the McD's down the street.

To say this Wendy's has perfected the art of the lunch rush would be an understatement! Their proximity to Vanderbilt makes them a prime location for people on the go to stop for a Burger. They almost never have a line longer than 3 cars during the busy part of the afternoon. Often times they are actually handing the food out to you as you pull up. Highly recommended if you are on the go. But be careful and check those lids on your Soda, they do have a tendency to pop off. Also, make sure they gave you a straw. They tend to forget.

I drove through the drive-thru and ordered a small fry at this Wendy's. Half-way through the box, the fries tasted like feces. It's like someone picked his or her butt and handled the fries. Downright nasty. I will never return to this Wendy's if I can help it.

Warm Frosties, cold employees: If you're a fan of reluctant service, angry reception and a lack of food/drink inventory, this Wendy's is the place for you. You will be greeted by an overworked, underpaid (aren't we all?) drive-thru "greeter" who is clearly quite disappointed you chose to dine at her establishment. Apparently this Wendy's doesn't expect your business -- the last two times I've been, they haven't been properly equipped. The first time they were out of potatoes.. But the second time, they committed a cardinal sin that likely caused Dave Thomas to roll over in his grave. Their Frosty machine broke. Now, that's an understandable malfunction in and of itself. Again, there's nothing shameful about a piece of equipment messing up. But the drive-thru worker could not have been less apologetic. Apparently it was our fault that we wanted a cold, refreshing treat after a long, arduous night of cheering on the Nashville Predators. The employee did not offer us a coupon or any sort of condolence for the inconvenience. So we drove away and went to the Wendy's on White Bridge Road, where the service was warm and the Frosties quite cold.

I get lunch here once or twice a week at least because it is close to work and I think their food is rather consistent. Of all the Wendy's I've been to in Nashville this one strikes me as the best. I am usually happy with my spicy chicken sandwiches and fries, but the chicken nuggets always taste like they've been fried in year-old oil. The cashiers are very nice.

When I had read that Wendy's was remaking their burgers as of mid-September, I had to try it out. The service was slow. I think their cashier just started. And perhaps she was just trying to show how friendly she was. Unfortunately, she was too friendly, engaging in conversations and trying to up-sell as the lunch line started to snake. And for an early lunch hour, she was the only one taking orders while they had several people taking the drive through orders. I truthfully can't remember what a Wendy's burger tastes like. With McD's, I know it's filled with filler. Maybe it's the square patty? At any rate, the new burger was okay. Not memorable. I ate it all, but eating everything on my plate has been something instilled in me since childhood. I did like the red onions. Not sure if it made a difference to me that the buns are now buttered. The pickles definitely did not taste like it's been sitting in vinegar for months. They tasted fresher -- but the article I had read that did state that they consulted with a pickle expert when they made the upgrades. I still prefer McD's, as it's the only restaurant my parents took us to as a family (true story!). But now that I just received 4 coupons in the weekly mailer for free burgers, I will have to redeem them. Can't let this go to waste.

I just have to say that I am really happy that Vandy has this Wendy's right down the street! I had cravings for chocolate ice cream and most things were closed (no Pinkberry or tasti-D lite). Luckily at 11:30 at night, this place was booming! And to my surprise, the cashier told me that they are open until 4AM!!! I just love the chocolate frosty and their chicken nuggets. And it was nice that there were a bunch of Vandy and Belmont students... mostly Belmont though. Also, they take the commodore card! And is it just me or did Wendy's become cheaper than it already is?

This Wendy's is always clean, the service is always slow however. The drive thru is always faster than going inside. So if you are in a hurry you can just get it in the window. You will be there for a while if not. Other than that the food is always hot and fresh. The restrooms are just alright. There never spotless, but not gross.
