The food is OK, but the service is truly abysmal. On my last FOUR visits the server left out something I ordered. On my last trip it was an extra biscuit. And don't these people understand the words "please" and "thank you?"

I stopped into Popeye's for a quick lunch around 1:00 pm on a Thursday. The drive thru line was wrapped around the building, so the lunch rush was ongoing. I parked and decided to go in. It didn't really save me much time; the car that I would've been behind got his food right after I did, even though I went inside. I got the spicy chicken tenders and they took forever because they were cooking a fresh batch; there was a a reserve of every kind of chicken except the spicy tenders. You would think that they would expect a run on tenders in general whenever their drive thru is busy, and plan accordingly. The cashier was pretty slow going as well, locating the correct buttons for the order given and making change seemed to really take a lot for her. Ding a star for the slow service. The chicken was tasty and hot because it was freshly cooked. Popeye's is definitely one of the better of the fast food chicken places, but it is still fast food, so don't expect miracles. The red beans and rice were surprisingly good, for a fast food place. The biscuit was fluffy, buttery and pretty fresh-tasting, but of course you can do better at home or a good local breakfast spot. I was looking forward to some sweet tea, but they were out. I told the cashier and she didn't do a thing about it or notify someone about it for the entire time I stood there waiting for my order (about 7 minutes). She didn't even offer to fill my cup from the sweet tea urn they had behind the line for the drive thru. Ding another star. In short, it's a typical fast food place. The food is decent and the service sucks. Par for the course.

Everyone's got their addictions..... Crack, Heroin, Booze, Gambling... Mine is Popeye's chicken. Alright. I gave you 5 stars. I know Cool Springs is whitebred as fuck, but can you fucking open up a location down there already so I dont have to drive across town for my fix?

Had to wait 5-10 minutes for my order to be taken in the drive-thru....then when I get to the window, I had to pull up to wait on chicken to cook!

Disappointed, service is their greatest improvement area as they do not pay much attention to your order. Food is average, nothing to be impressed with.

Super impressed. Okay, I had missed the lunch hour rush. It was now 2:30. Place was super clean and staff friendly. My two piece chicken meal was good. Great chicken albeit could be spicer. The beans and rice were awesome.
