Out of all the chain-based fast food joints around Nashville, Hardee's is one of the better ones and this Hardee's in particular is always top-notch. The staff here have always been friendly, speedy and helpful and the restaurant itself has been spotless for every visit (often a rarity in the fast-food world). I'm usually headed here on Sunday mornings for a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit (no other place on earth compares), but their lunch and dinner fare are also worth the trip. On the most recent visit, my partner had their turkey burger, and I have to say it was remarkably good. I've been going with the Memphis BBQ burger (burger topped with pulled pork, bacon, onion strings and cheese), which never disappoints. I don't know if their burgers are grilled fresh or frozen, but the resulting taste is pretty dang good. They offer regular fries, curly fries and beer-battered onion rings, so there's a good selection of starchy sides to choose from for all tastes.

Can't give a fast-food chain a 5-star, just can't... But would like to. We had breakfast here, twice in two days. Fried bologna, egg, velveeta on biscuits...DAMMMMM that's good! Friendly people, clean restaurant, good coffee. I can't speak for lunch/dinner stuff, but this is IT for fast cheap tasty breakfast.

I love Hardee's for one reason... turkey burgers! They have the most delicious turkey burger. It's grilled, served on a wheat bun and only has 380 calories. Definitely give them a go if you wanting a healthy alternative to a burger!

I'm a Southern boy, so I don't take biscuit making lightly. When I can't make it home to Alabama for the best biscuits in the world, served exclusively from my mom's kitchen, I will only eat Hardee's. I have tried to find a good one at lots of places to fill the biscuit shaped void in my life, but they always disappoint. Not Hardee's. I don't know much about the rest of their menu, other than that their jalapeno turkey burger is really good, but you can never go wrong with one of their flaky, fluffy buttermilk biscuits. They are especially good on a Saturday or Sunday morning after a night of drinking, and you will find no better buttery, greasy, bready liquor sponge than a Hardee's biscuit. Couple this with their nice, strong coffee and you will feel like rejoining the living in no time. The best part about Sundays is that they serve breakfast until 11, which gives you a whole 30 extra minutes to drag your hungover self out of bed and make it before lunch is your only option. And my philosophy is, why have something on a bun when you can have it on a biscuit?
