The girls from work order take out once or twice a week and H&T's is one of our favorites. They are a meat & 3 and the portions are pretty big. Most recently I had the pot roast and it was fabulous! Also had turnip greens and white beans both of which were very tasty. Will definitely be going back.

I'd been meaning to try this locally owned family restaurant for a while and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere in the dining room is very open and friendly. I felt more like I'd walked into a family reunion than a restaurant. The owner is a very visible presence and takes her commitment to customer service seriously. The space is clean, bright, and very inviting. Now for the food. I had the fried chicken with okra, potato salad and cornbread. Everything was prepared spot-on. I can't wait to go back and try several of the other items on the menu including the pot roast, liver & onions, and greens. I don't usually write reviews, but this restaurant deserves to have their praises sung.

Loved the place, it was clean, busy, well organized. I walked in, three people ahead of me were in line for to-go orders. The sweetest lady (owner I think) informed me of that, checked if the others were ready , checked on two tables and was back to me in less than 2 minutes. I ordered, was quoted a time of 8 minutes and it was boxed, and ready to be checked not a minute later. The food was as good as it looked, fresh and home made . Loved it, will be back

Very good catfish , pork chop and sides like greens, white beans, mac n cheese. Most items are available everyday but each day of the week (closed Saturday) has several dishes available that day only. Plain but clean, cheerful, sunny dinning room. Extremely welcoming staff. Would have been a four star except I ordered the liver and onion this last visit. I know it is a like it or hate it dish and of course I like it. But what I got was soggy instead of firm. The onions came in a gravy which made it worse.

Great southern food with a great service. I ordered the baked chicken with mac and cheese, turnip greens, mash potatoes, and corn bread. The food came out quick. The chicken was very moist and smothered in a mushroom gravy sauce. The turnip green tasted great but the mash potatoes and Mac and cheese were more average. Overall I enjoyed my quick meal here. The owner was watching her staff like a hawk making sure everything was running smoothly. Great service with great quick fresh southern food. Highly recommend!

Great Southern cooking just like Granny's!! I would suggest you take the delicious food out though the atmosphere is not very festive. It somewhat reminds me of a family reunion location. The food is soul food but the inside of the restaurant lacks the soul.

I eat here usually once a week. You won't find better southern cooking at any other meat and three around Nashville and I've eaten at all of them. The catfish, fried pork chop or country fried steak are the can't miss choices. They also have wonderful homemade deserts. The staff are always very polite and attentive. The owner is often there too taking orders and helping customers. Don't let the crappy Antioch strip mall location deter you. H and Ts is goooooooooood.

I enjoy dining at H&T's. The owner is always very very nice and the service is top notch. So far I've tried the fried catfish and fried chicken. the catfish was really good, the chicken was ok, not very flavorful. My guests have tried the fried porkchop and meatloaf which they said was really good, like my friend said the meatloaf was really good and he ate it in like 15 seconds....I'll try it next time for sure. lol For sides I've had the turnip greens, macaroni, mashed potatoes, corn and white beans. Sides were decent, nothing worth raving about. But the meals will definitely fix your soul food craving. Being from Arkansas and being an awesome southern food cook, I'm hard to impress. But H&T's gets a go from me.

I just love H &T Restaurant. .they have alot of selections and their deserts are delious. .now their located in Nasboro Village. .an added Bonus..and Mrs.Hattie is one of a kind..always Polite taking care of her customers.

The new location is spectacular. I had catfish while the wife had chicken & dressing. Wonderful, generous portions. It was not overly busy so seating was quick but the place is jumping. Service is quick and friendly too. Best meat & 3 in the area!

Came at the suggestion of a co-worker. Was glad I did. Definitely was like something I had from my family's own kitchen. I had chicken and dressing- simply awesome. Had white beans and mac n cheese as sides. Not spectacular, but we're not talking The Farm House here. If it were closer to my house, I think I would be here much more often. But I'll definitely be back. Fyi- service was top notch. Plus the owner came to visit. Nice touch.

Not bad, this was just an impulse drop in. Service was excellent, friendly and prompt. I ordered the meatloaf meal. Meatloaf and green beans were very good. I didn't like the Mac and cheese too much velvetta. Overall I was pleased and would go back. Sparkling clean and 100 Health Rating.

If you want great food and a friendly staff this is the place to go. I have been to H&T's many times and I have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is always welcoming and the food is nothing short of outstanding. I would pick H&T anytime over any chain restaurant.

If you want fantastic home cooking, this is the place to go. Hattie and her staff make the dining experience pleasurable, and the food is the best around. I have settled on the Chicken and dressing with extra cranberry sauce, greens, and double white beans. The blackberry cobbler is a great way to finish off my meal! Go see them, you won't be disappointed.

I saw a sign for "Home Cooking" and thought I'd try it. The special was chicken and dumplings and yes, it was special. YUMM! The service was great; staff was friendly and went the extra mile. I took some peach cobbler with me for dessert and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be back.

I just went to this place last Sunday and thought since they moved maybe just maybe it had changed...NOT, I got pot roast, greens, mac/cheese and cornbread....roast tasted it burned...mac/cheese came from Kraft...oh yeah pinto beans weren't seasoned...corn bread was stale....won't go back!!!!

H & T's gives you a great home cooked meal, served with a side of good ole southern hospitality. The food here is really tasty. The portions are good, and the prices are good. I really enjoyed the friendly staff, and their suggestions were spot on. This place is close to home, so I will definitely be visiting here for a meal - I suggest y'all do the same!

H & T's is simply good home cooking. I have been here five times and each time was great. The owner is usually there to greet you and the service is always wonderful. Four out five times my server has talked me into getting dessert. Awesome cobblers, pies, and cake. The meats have been my favorite though. Chicken and dressing, meatloaf, and pot roast are all equally outstanding. My least favorite was actually the fried chicken, but even that was pretty good. The sides are simple, but hearty and full of flavor. Home Cooking is in this restaurant's name for a reason. The food tastes like the recipes have been passed down from generation to generation. I love having H & T's right down the road from me. Come check it out!!

I really like this place it's off the beaten trail it's def a local restaurant it's a meat and three pretty small restaurant the owner is always at the register with a huge smile on her face and the customer service is very good because of how small the place is
