Great Food, and friendly staff. Would recommend it you when you want to impress family or clients. Also if they now have a great happy hour too, for those of us who just want a snack and glass of wine. Will definately go back. Also the owner's have also let me conduct my Alcohol Intervention class at their location. Showing again their concern for proper alcohol service, by educating their staff.

Meh. There aren't many options for a "classy" dinner around here, but Flemings is just pathetic. I definitely get the trying-too-hard vibe from the staff here.... and didn't appreciate the blatant ageism.

Simply wonderful! Food, atmosphere, service, drinks, desserts, awesome! If you are in Nashville you have to try this restaurant.

This is our go-to steakhouse. I can't tell you how many times we have been to Fleming's for dinner. Not once have we had less than outstanding service and food. There is not another steakhouse in Nashville we have frequented that we can say the same. It is so nice to have this classic we can always count on. We highly recommend it. Maybe we will see you there.

My wife and I chose Fleming's for our 2 year anniversary. Our server was Jared Y. and he was outstanding. I got the Ribeye and my wife got the Filet Mignon and we were blown away with the quality. This is definitely a top notch steakhouse. We were also blown away by the mac and cheese side. My wife said it was the best mac and cheese she has ever had, and she is a seasoned mac and cheese expert of the highest degree! :-) Thanks again to Jared for making our night great, and we are looking forward coming back to Flemings in the future.

We celebrated Mothers's Day and we have been several times a year. This time was one of the best meals ever. Food was very good and our server was awesome. Thanks Kristan, ask for her, she was great. One of my favorites.

The meal started with a delicious Flemings salad with a light dressing. Then the most mouth watering steak in town! The Fleming's cheddar potatoes and mushrooms were great side items. It was my friend's birthday and they presented her with a box of truffles and a $25.00 gift certificate!

Having been here for several times without leaving a comment..this time the steak gets over cooked. I complained to the manager and she offered to cook a new one which I refused. To my surprise, the bill automatically take it off as a compensation! Good service!

I have always had fantastic service at this West End chain. The atmosphere is very nice and the prime rib is very good, although I think they usually only have it on Sundays. Great wine selection, the food is always consistent and delicious. Try their bar food and wine happy hour specials if you are on a budget.

Dinner was delicious from the french onion soup (best ever) to the kona chocolate truffles and gift certificate I was presented with as a birthday gift! Service is lovely. Filet was perfection.

I wrote a review for their happy hour before, and still it is one of best in Nashville. This time, I want to write a review for dinner. 3 stars for dinner. For the price, I really expected a lot more. We went over valentines weekend, and my fiance opted for the special valentine menu. The appetizer was one sad scallop (yes one little scallop). The flemings salad was 90% iceberg lettuce and a little bit of mix salad. I honestly expected flemings to use more than just iceberg. Needless to say, the salad was not good. For the entree, my fiance had the petite filet with lobster tail pairing. It was the best part of the menu, but we both felt that the lobster was under-cooked (at least not over cooked!) and the filet was just okay. I ordered the bbq shrimp to start, and it was probably the best dish of the night. Then I had the sliced filet mignon. It was really overcooked (I asked for medium). The risotto underneath got a crusty top to it, I think it was sitting out in the back for too long. Wine was great, but the food was just such a disappointment. We spent over 150, not including tip, and really expected more. I probably won't go back for dinner, just sticking to happy hours from now on!

Good place for a special occasion dinner. We had the dry aged rib eye, wedge salad & the scallop small plate. Excellent flavors! The service was average...I expect more from this type of restaurant. Our waiter seemed in a hurry asking every five minutes if he could clear our plates even though we were still eating off of them. Also I felt the loud uptempo dance music was a bad choice for a fine dining restaurant, I prefer low key instrumental selections or no music at all so you can enjoy talking to your dinner companions.

Amazing food and service but very pricey. Best reserved for a special occasion. Steak is as good as it gets, all of the sides are to die for especially the lobster and caviar.

Service - A Appetizer (French Onion) - B+ Ribeye - A+ Side (Mac and Cheese) - C+ [The best mac and cheese in Nashville is at the Standard at Smith House) My wife and I shared this meal and it was more than enough food for us both. The bill with a tip was about $80. Very enjoyable experience (especially with the gift card.)

Our third trip to Fleming's lived up to our anticipation! This has been our anniversary dinner pick for two years and it couldn't have been better. The service was tremendous and the STEAKS WERE AWESOME! Loved the macaroni and cheese and you can't go splurge without diving into the chocolate lava cake - a must have. Thanks Fleming's.

I had the best prime rib here. There was just enough fat for the size of the steak, but there was so much meat! So tender, too. I could go on about this steak for months. And the plate was hot, not warm "F" HOT! It nice to see a place get-it on how to service prime rib. It was a really good deal, too. I had a prime rib dinner, available normally only on Sundays (special for the fourth weekend), and included was a salad, a side, and a dessert. My caesar salad was very fresh and not overdressed. I got the asparagus, which was average, but my wife got the Fleming's potatoes (needs more jalapenos) which were quite good. And for dessert the cheesecake and a cream brulee good, but by that time I was pretty much bursting with food. The service was only decent, are guy was in the weeds and slow. (if service would have been on target it would have received a 5) The entire meal - salad, side, steak, dessert - was $59 for 2. Good deal? I think so, yes.

Review from a non-steak eater: Expect the bill to be high, but the food and service will not disappoint. I went here with a group of 5 on a Friday night and it was incredible. This is coming from someone who doesn't eat steak, so I was nervous if I would find anything at all on the menu for me. The Fleming's seafood options are great! All of the others in my party were in heaven with their steak choices. We left happy and spoiled. I would definitely return.

Great setting with a view of the city. Food is also very good. Not the best steak I had but still very good. Got the filet mignon with crab sauce on top, Mac and cheese, and Fleming potatoes. Everything was great. If you got money to blow on a good meal this is the place to go.

Fleming's is expensive, but I enjoy dining here. Their dinner is great, but what I really LOVE about them is their happy hour. First of all, it's every single night of the week. Yeah. Even during the weekends, and it lasts until 7pm! That right there tickles my fancy. Beware that it does get very crowded, especially on a Friday night. We witnessed a girl saving 4 seats with a very packed bar, so come early or be prepared to stand. They offer 5 wines, 5 cocktails and 5 appetizers for $6. We tried a couple of the appetizers plus the flat bread, and all of it was awesome! We ended up making a meal out of it, and I'd recommend their food highly!! No overcooked crappy bar food here, it's top notch. The martinis are a bit on the sweet side unless you get the regular martini, but I really enjoyed them. I also grabbed a glass of red wine and it was very good. Beware: the $6 price tag on drinks DOES NOT include the drink tax. Wish they would have told us that on the front end, but I'll forgive them since its still a great deal and I was able to get my money's worth!

We have dined at Flemings on a couple different occasions and been pleased, but this time was a huge disappointment. My son graduated college last weekend so we chose Flemings because we thought it would be a great place for our special occasion. We had a party of eight and had reservations two months in advance. They ended up being very busy and our table was in the middle of everything, this wasn't a big deal but not the quiet and more private dining experience we'd been used to there. We sat there for quite some time before we were greeted and given water. When our waiter (name was Toby) finally showed up he was cold, a smart aleck, and condescending to us. We ordered wine, got through our soup and salads, and sat thirsty waiting for our water and soda refills. We kept hearing "Sorry, the bread is in the oven". I'm sorry but with this level of dining the service should be impeccable!!! When the steaks came my son's steak (he had ordered medium rare) was overcooked. He cut into it and told them it was overcooked. The waiter and the guy who delivered his steak then proceeded to stand there and argue with him about the doneness of his steak. It was obvious to everyone the steak was overcooked. My son cut into it a couple more times to show them. The waiter then told my son "Well, we can send it back for you, but I'm going to be honest and let you know it's going to be a long time before you get it back because we're so busy." My son's Grandpa finally offered to trade steaks with him, since his steak was more rare. The waiter also made some comment "thirsty much?" about my teenage boys' soda and water glasses needing to be refilled too often as though it was a bother. The tackiness of this waiter was ridiculous! I just sat there in disbelief at how bad the service was in comparison to our previous visits where the service was very good, and regretful that we chose Flemings for this very special occasion. So, 90 minutes later we left, nearly $800 spent and sorely, sorely disappointed. I would give 2.5 stars if I could, but I feel as though 3 stars (A-Ok) is way too generous for this experience.

You pay this price and you expect the bar to be twice as high and Fleming's always delivers. Great place for anniversaries and the like. I don't order steak filet anywhere else. Get the 20% off gift cards at Costco

I usually bypass Flemings because I don't eat beef; but I have been a few times in the past month and, I have to say, their menu is pretty versatile. I had the Ahi tuna small plate the first time and it was cooked to perfection. The salad accompaniment was delicious as well. I went for happy hour another time where I discovered their 5/6/7 specials (had no idea!). Basically, until 7 pm there are several menu items you can get for $6 each. (5 wines, 5 appetizers, etc..). EXTREMELY good deal. I would recommend this place for their happy hour, without a doubt. It offers a good atmosphere and has some decent choices for $6 (including a burger, for those of you who eat beef).

Went there with my mother, daughter and wife. Very good, but not perfect. Normally I don't expect perfection but for somewhere as pricey as Fleming's, I do. I had pepper encrusted steak, which was outstanding, the pepper was very good. But the steak had a few veins of fat that detracted from it. The house bread was outstanding, some kind of cheese bread, with two very nice spreads rather than butter. I had a very good zinfandel, so good I went out to the store and bought four bottles. We had the chocolate cake / ice cream thing which was very good, but not excellent. Service was very good, except at one point the waiter disappeared for about 10 minutes after we finished and we're waiting to have the table cleared and to order dessert. I think they were under-staffed. I would go back again. It's obviously pretentious, but I do my best to ignore that. Bill for 4 people, including 4 drinks, was $300.

Absolutely stellar!!! We have been here on several occasions and Recently had a not so up to par experience; however, Chris the manager was dead set on making things right. This trip to Flemings has surpassed the rest and shows that they are on top of their game. We will definitely continue to frequent this establishment!!!

Always my favorite Steakhouse & I try to get to one wherever I can - once or twice a year. This week I was in Nashville & was looking for somewhere really nice to take my team for a great years work & took them here! We had a great meal, everyone agreed it was the best steak they'd ever had, the service was excellent. I've eaten at a number of Fleming's around the country & have never been disappointed. Everyone I've taken from colleagues to my parents have been VERY impressed too.

I dined here recently with a companion and thoroughly enjoyed it. My "go to" steakhouse in Nashville is Stoney River in the West End / Vanderbilt part of town, and Fleming's is but a few short blocks away. My carpaccio appetizer and my companion's clam chowder were right on point. Our steaks - a 16 oz prime New York strip and a Fleming's peppercorn steak - were perfectly cooked and we both enjoyed them very much. My Bearnaise sauce was nicely prepared; I appreciated the hint of cayenne added to it. And our sides - a loaded baked potato and sautéed spinach - were exactly as they should have been. As a previous commenter observed, steaks are served on a hot plate. Not your normal "this plate is hot" hot, more like "surface of the sun" hot. This is actually excellent, as your food stays warm longer! Service was attentive without being obtrusive; our server was a delightful woman whose suggestions were welcome yet not pushy. Our server even took our valet ticket and had our car summoned to the entrance prior to our departure - a very nice touch. Cocktails were generous and served with the trendy - and superior - single, large ice cube. Wine prices were average for this type of establishment, and the tablet-based wine list was vastly superior than a simple printed one, as it allowed search capability by varietal, region and many more, with great descriptions of each of the wines. The by-the-glass wine availability is superior, even exemplary. Prices are "splurge-level" for most people, but are warranted given the quality of the food, service and ambiance. The total tab for our meal (which was relaxed and took over two hours - at our pace), which included two top-priced steaks, three "top shelf" cocktails, three "big pour" glasses of wine and two side items was $325, including tip. Note that without the alcohol the bill would have been approximately half this. Worth every penny.

A great place to go for a special occasion dinner - classy, quiet, exceptional service, great food, and, yes, pricey. A friend gave us a $25 coupon (we still spent more than we normally do on our weekend date night out, but it was a good excuse to try Fleming's). We only made reservations 5 days in advance, so we had a choice of 5:30 and 8:45 (lesson learned - reserve early!). We went for the late dinner and snacked beforehand, so we weren't starving. We started with the calamari with sweet chili sauce. It was perfect - lightly breaded, not too greasy, tasty sweet/spicy sauce. Amazingly, our waitress noticed that it was taking a while to come out, so she dropped by the table and mentioned that she'd asked her manager to take it off our bill due to the delay. Sure, it had been 15 min or so since we'd ordered, but we hadn't really noticed - but can't complain about a free appetizer! For dinner, I had the peppercorn steak. It was perfectly cooked (medium) and the peppercorns really enhanced the taste of the steak - no need for a sauce. It came with roasted green beans, which were fine. My wife had one of the small plates, the colossal shrimp on skewers, with chimichurri sauce and a citrus red onion-fennel salad. It was really good, definitely a small plate though, not really suitable as an entree substitute. We had sauteed mushrooms on the side - delicious! The total was $80 (after the $25 coupon, with the appetizer taken off, and before tip) - and remember that my wife's plate was kind of an appetizer. But for a nice dinner, it's a great choice.

My fiance and I dined here tonight to celebrate our very recent engagement. When I reserved our table, I casually informed the receptionist that we were celebrating, expecting maybe a "Congrats!" or 2 throughout our meal. We were amazed and astounded to hear literally every single employee that walked by our table--the hostess, our waiter, the assistant waiter, the food runners, the manager, other waiters/waitresses--share good wishes and congratulatory remarks. What a sweet way to commemorate the happy occasion! Everyone's kind words added so much to our experience at Fleming's. The food was delicious--we particularly enjoyed our starter courses, the Sweet Chili Calamari and the Heirloom Tomato and Housemade Burrata Salad--though the steak and side dishes were great, too. The dessert (the Walnut Turtle Pie) was good, though both of us agreed that it'd be better served warm, with ice cream. Fleming's loses a point for the following: my fiance's filet was not consistently cooked the entire way through--he ordered it medium rare and had sections that were clearly medium well. He didn't mind too much, since the steak was otherwise delicious, but it did bug him a little since the steak was expensive. In addition, both of us ordered drinks that cost more than they should have and really weren't all that good. As we paid the bill, the waiter brought us a small box of housemade chocolates. What a sweet gesture to celebrate our special time! I'd definitely return to Fleming's for a nice meal or special occasion with friends and/or family.

Excellent place for great steaks! Nice dinning atmosphere and service is excellent also. Great happy hour specials and best fried Calamari I've ever had. Not cheap by any means but worth it if your looking for somewhere nice for a special occasion.

Flemings went above and beyond the expectation of a fine dining steakhouse. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable and the lava cake was to die for! It was my boyfriends 30th birthday and it was a night to remember forever. Thanks again and we will be back soon!

Fleming's was an all around good experience. It is a but pricey so I would recommend going during happy hour or just for special occasions. The waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed from great recommendations to our water be promptly filled whenever they were getting low. The restaurant as a whole was very nice. The ambiance was pleasing, the service was nice. Our wait was a little longer than originally stated so they threw in a free dessert. Long story short if you have the money and want an easy choice this place is for you. mysefl personally, I'd prefer something local.

I made an account just to post this review. I went here for happy hour and I honestly had some of the worst service I've ever received. Especially considering that a place like this should have top notch service. Sat at the bar and it took 5 minutes after I ordered my beer to receive it, the person I was with ordered a cocktail and was told 5 minutes AFTER I received my beer that they did not have the puree to make it. This would normally be fine except for the fact that it took the bartender 10 minutes to make her aware of that fact. Ordered a different cocktail and all was fine. The dessert donuts we ordered were blah. Just overpriced donut holes with nothing remotely special about them. I ordered a prime burger cooked medium. It was definitely cooked well done so I asked for some mustard to attempt to make the burger not so dry. I kid you not it took at least 10 minutes to get my mustard..... Just a ridiculous amount of time for something so simple. Also the only time I was asked about my food all night was immediately after it was brought out "does everything look good?" I was never asked about it again you know the point where they ask "does everything taste ok?" Well I was never asked anything like that so..... Also my friends iPhone was spilled on by our bartender and he just stood there without saying anything for 30 seconds and then he finally tried to wipe it off and said "I'm sorry". We didn't receive any type of accommodation for this. I would expect at least a few dollars off the total bill but alas nothing was removed or discounted. I was a bartender at an upscale restaurant like this with $30-$40 plates for 2+ years so even though I may be young I know what service is to be expected. I realize I could have mentioned some of this during my visit but at a Flemings restaurant I should not have to because it should be handled already. Overall just a terrible experience and I will never be back.

After all the great reviews I've read about this place it was time i checked it out myself for my wife's bday..... The Good: Upon arrival we where greeted with very friendly valet workers. Took the escalator upstairs to the restaurant where we were greeted by a very professional, friendly hostess. Inside decor is dimly lit providing an romantic atmosphere. Our waiter Suki was AWESOME! being it was our first time here she offered suggestions and took her time explaining what dish is what. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi and my wife ordered the surf & turf that came with steak and lobster tail. She LOVED her meal while i didn't care for mine at ALL! TIP: When you go to a restaurant for the 1ST time that specializes in STEAK order the STEAK!! I tried some of my wife dish and almost slapped myself for not trying the one thing I brought us here for!!! Anyway,...Overall experience was great! I think the owner or Manager came by our table to wish my wife Happy Birthday , then Suki brought my wife a box a some sort of chocolate cookie things along with a gift card...HOW FREAKING NICE IT THAT!!! The Bad: OK well I expected the price to be expensive so it wasn't a shock our bill totaled $138.00 so Nothing really bad to say about Fleming's! Overall: I will return over and over again! The price was well worth the experience and the superior customer service! great place to take your spouse or whoever here to celebrate any occasion.

I have only ever come here to sit at the bar and have food and drink so if you're looking for a review of Fleming's as a steakhouse please check out some of the other Yelpers. I came here with friends specifically to check out the "5, 6, 7" happy hour...5 glasses of wine, 5 cocktails, and 5 appetizers for $6 until 7pm (even on Friday). Apparently we were not the only ones craving a post-work relaxation...so as a warning, the small bar area fills up FAST and can quickly become standing room only. But if you manage to snag a spot, its completely worth it. The food in phenomenal...beer Carpaccio, spicy BBQ shrimp, calamari in a sweet chili sauce, mushroom ravioli, mushroom and artichoke flatbread (confession - we ordered another one of these after devouring our first one)...and all for $6. There's also a burger and fries combo that is absolutely gigantic AND only $6. The cocktails, while tending to be very sweet, were well made and yummy. They also have two blue moons for $6 as well. So I guess what I'm trying to make clear is that this is a GREAT happy hour deal, especially if you go with friends so you can try various combinations of food and drink. The service was great considering the sheer volume of people in the tiny bar area. I would suggest using the complimentary valet parking as parking around the restaurant (being on the second floor of the Barnes and Noble-driven complex off West End) is limited. Try to get here early for a good seat at the bar or come on not-so-busy Fridays and Saturdays. This was a real end-of-the-week treat and I will definitely be going back.

My favorite steakhouse in Nashville. I've tried several cuts and each one is absolutely delicious. The sides are surprisingly good but be prepared to share because the servings are enormous. The service is great which can be surprising considering the quality of the restaurant. Speaking of which, this place is extremely expensive. Worth every penny. Side note: extremely good drinks.

We had reservations at 7:00 but arrived at 6:50 & was seated promptly. I love the iPad with the wine app. It breaks down their wine menu so even a beginner doesn't feel out of place. I order the petite filet & sauteed corn & he asked the server to choose something that would compliment his wine. The server choose a filet & asparagus with a Bearnaise sauce. This is possibly the best steak I've ever eaten. During our evening, the service manager & assistant manager stopped by to see how everything was. Our bill ended up being around $200 for the two of us but this place is definitely worth the money.

This is the first 5 star I've given to any restaurant! Fabulous from start to finish! My husband and I made reservations for our anniversary this past March. We were greeted by a hostess with a great smile who welcomed us with a "Happy anniversary". We were seated right away at a great table. We loved the atmosphere and decor. Our server came quickly and also told us "happy anniversary" as well. He was very knowledgeable about the menu items. I was THRILLED that they had my favorite merlot on their wine list (Frog's Leap...yum!). My husband had the filet and I had the rib eye. Both were cooked to perfection. For our sides we had the Fleming's potatoes (a house specialty and highly recommended by us), asparagus, and sautéed mushrooms. All of the sides were incredible. During the meal, the manager came over to ask how we were enjoying our meal and also told us "happy anniversary". Our server checked on us a few times (but not too many times) throughout the meal to see if we needed anything. They had a wonderful desert menu, but we were so full we couldn't order a desert. But as a special treat for our anniversary, they brought us 4 delicious chocolate truffles (on the house!). Even though we were so full, they looked so good we had to eat them. They were a perfect end to a perfect meal. We can't wait to go back! Thank you Fleming's for making our anniversary dinner so special and delicious!

This is my No.1 go to place when someone else is buying. I've only ever been here for business and believe me, you don't want to wear jeans. It's not the fanciest place, but it is nice. Last time I was there I had a cocktail, but the entire table enjoyed their wine. I had one of the best steaks of my life as well. They accommodate large parties really well too. They set us off to a side and we had a dedicated waiter, which made life really easy. We had a party of about 15 and I don't even want to know what the bill looked like. I would definitely eat here again.

Whenever I have a craving for steak and wine I always opt for Flemings Steakhouse. I love the service and atmosphere. And I have always enjoyed the food. I certainly recommend this restaurant for a special date night. Order the chocolate molten dessert for a special treat.

Everything was absolutely delicious! I had the Fleming salad, potatoes and the filet. I would probably skip the salad and opt for desert next time but the potatoes were really good and words can not describe how good the steak was. It was perfectly cooked, totally tender and the rub is amazing! It had almost a pepperoni flavor to it. The bread was also really good, sort of Rosemary and olive oil tasting with a great spread. Only negative, the service was a little off.

I've always loved Fleming's for a delicious dinner and now I'm a huge happy hour fan, too. Their $6 burger was so good I didn't stop talking about it for a week! Plus they have free housemade chips to munch on and a good selection of other $6 apps. The bar area is pretty small and gets packed quickly, so go early if you wanna snag a seat.

We have been to the happy hour of Fleming's twice at this location on West End, so this is the review for both. The food at the bar, both of the happy hour menu and bar la carte, was excellent. But the services were varied. The first time when we there, our server at the bar who was also a school teacher. Sorry to forget her name though. She is very nice, and being very attentive but not interrupt too much. We had a great time there. The second time as tonight, we were glad to see her there again, along with another waiter who was very professional too. We got there during happy hour and stayed through after. We ordered two appetizers and two of Fleming's original prime rib melt. Surprisingly, while in the middle of our meal, a third waitress who is a blonde girl came to us saying something like "you guys are eating a lot..." Ouch! This is really odd! Is it normal amount for two people to consume two appetizers and two sandwiches? What's matter with her? It made us feel really weird. Did she expect us to leave right after the happy hour as other customers? I understood that we can order any food on the menu at the bar area and stay as long as we want, and so as we did. I don't understand where her points came from. Anyway, her attitude made us feel very inappropriate and really unprofessional. We're not going back to Fleming's, at least not at this location any more.

It doesn't matter what you eat it's that good! The service, food quality, and attention to detail cannot to compared but used as a benchmark to what all other great steakhouses should be.

I like Fleming's very much. The steak is outstanding, the wine is superb and the service is top notch. Great place for special occasions, business dinners and dates with my husband. I will be coming back here no doubt. It's one of those come back to places. They do a good job keeping up the reputation of their "brother/sister" restaurant Prime in Vegas. Classy place. That sounds so simple, but it is that simple.

I often go to Nashville for work. If it wasn't for Fleming's, I don't know how I could keep my sanity. TENDERLOIN CARPACCIO caper creole mustard sauce and red onion (the best I've ever had!!! Generous portions of beef and toasted/seasoned/sliced baguettes) SEARED AHI TUNA on a fresh vegetable salad with spicy mustard sauce (MELTS in your mouth, holy shit... And the sauce is FABULOUS) JUMBO LUMP CRAB CAKES roasted red pepper and lime butter sauce LOBSTER TEMPURA red jalapeno pepper and soy-ginger sauces, served with tempura vegetables (Be careful, you can fill up on this goodness quickly) PRIME RIBEYE 16 oz. (Medium rare!) BEEF FLEMINGTON filet wrapped in puff pastry with a mushroom duxelle, madeira sauce (Holy shit! Medium rare, the filet and the pastry is PERFECT and melts in your mouth. HUBBA HUBBA) ALMOND CILANTRO CRUSTED SHRIMP grilled pineapple, mango sauce SEARED SCALLOPS lobster cream sauce with a puff pastry of sauted fresh vegetables (Heavenly. Very rich and delicious sauce!) CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE(How can you not order this? But they cheated; they cut a hole on the bottom of the cake and filled it w/ chocolate sauce. hahaha, but still good regardless.) The breadsticks and dips they serve first are different and tasty. The wine selection is great. The service is great. Despite how large the restaurant is, they high quality of their dishes remain the same. I have never been this wowed by a steakhouse before. Everything I have tried has been completely satisfying. It's too bad that the closest Fleming's to me is in Fresno. I have yet to take my bf there.

Been to this place a few times. My boss went there a lot. Every time I went, I saw him and his wife and a few board members. Their dark wood and leather upholstery made it a warmer dcor (definitely not fancier) than F. Scott's, but their foods and services are exceptional. They also have a large selection of wines. Although I'm not much of a drinker, my dad loves it. I go there for their smoked salmon and steak. The place has one of the few best steak places in town. The smoked salmon is out of this world! Be prepared to spend some $$$ in this place. It's worth it!

It was great. Amazing service and yummy food. I had the Tuna and my friend had the lamb chops. The corn is spicy and the baked potato was HEAVENLY. Nothing better.

Steaks are superb. Sides are alla carte, so get out your wallets. The wine selection is quite good. Very pricey. Hard to get out for less than $100 per person.

We visited Fleming's on Christmas Eve and I must say that it was not good. We have always had good meals in the past, but all 7 of us really didn't like our meals this night. Maybe the problem was that we didn't eat steak but instead had fish! My husband had the swordfish and it tasted as though it was frozen and a very strange taste...(ammonia tasting). He sent it back and decided not to eat anything else. I had the scallops ...which was ok...not great. Another friend had seared tuna....and it wasn't very good. The lobster tempura was SO greasy that is was literally dripping everywhere. The Sea bass was so so as well. When the waiter came to pour the wine I ordered, it was literally 3 ounces! At least I paid $16 for it!!! MEH!! Glad we were with great company who didn't care so much about the food! Can't say I would go back....especially paying those prices. C'mon Flemings.....get your game on.....there are WAY better places in Nashville now that can kick your ass!

The appetizers offered for $6 during happy hour are pretty bland. It took almost 15 minutes to just get water--drinks took another 10+ min. They brought out the lava cake along with our appetizers (really?) We told the waiter that it was weird to be bringing out our dessert with appetizers. His response was just, "Oh, but it was ready." Parking is a disaster and if you park in the garage behind the building, do not forget your parking ticket and to get it validated. We left ours on the table and the parking attendant wouldn't let us out without paying $10. When we went back into Fleming's to try to find our ticket, the hostess was unbelievably rude! This was a lot of hassle for a mediocre happy hour.

The food was amazing. The chefs special of the day with lobster tails stuffed with crab and peppers what to die for. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The salads were fresh and light enough to keep on eating the main course and the clam chowder was literally the best we've ever had. The wine selection is exquisite and the waiters were very knowledgeable. My only complaint is the valet guy was having a bad day so he was extremely rude. Be prepared to fork up the cheddar. 200 bucks +-50 for sure.

I had a $25 couple so I decided to go alone and try it out. The ambiance is great, not too quiet but not too loud either. The service is good and the manager even came by to say hi before I left. The food is satisfying enough but I don't think I would have gone if I had to pay full price, as it is pretty expensive. I had a ravioli for appetizer and the braised short ribs for main, and both were good. Will definitely try to go sometime to try out the 5 for 6 before 7 menu at the bar area though.

We had a business dinner here and I left less than impressed. Lets rate it: Server: a 3 out of 5. He was almost attentive enough. Luckily for him others servers filled in the gaps when we needed something. Ambience: 5 out of 5. Wasn't too quiet. Wasn't too noisy, was just right Food: 2.5 out of 5. Apps were good, the client who had chicken was happy. The client who ordered a medium ribeye received a rare ribeye and couldn't find our server so he sent it back with a different server. My filet was cooked to a medium vs rare that I ordered. Super fatty for an overcooked filet, odd. Sadly it was one of the worst filets I've eaten (at a restaurant, I've personally cooked one worse once) Server offered to have valet waiting for us when we left. We ended up standing in the cold for 10 minutes waiting on the valet. Not sure if valet is part of Flemings so I'm not including rating in my overall score which is why they are getting a 3. I personally will not be back

At the recommendation of a friend, I sampled Fleming's tonight. My friend told me it was his favorite steak place in Nashville, so I made my mind up to go for the steak. I was impressed with the presentation of my own iPad with their wine list, including over 100 wines by the glass. The iPad allowed you to narrow selections to wines rated 90+! (I chose a Dreaming Tree Merlot which was very nice . . . ) I had the "New Wedge" salad, which featured a healthy chunk of bleu cheese with the bleu cheese dressing, pine nuts, plum tomatoes, and a nice strip of bacon. There was also a few strands of caramelized onions which didn't seem to make much difference. This was followed by a 6 oz. "Newport" filet which was perfectly cooked and tender. The filet was served with an interesting version of scalloped potatoes, "Fleming's potatoes." I had a side of sauteed mushrooms which turned out to be a hearty, delectable portion baby portobello's. The service and ambiance were generally excellent. A nice touch was my waiter asking me if I was ready for the main course (as opposed to bringing the dish regardless of where I was with the wedge and bread). It was also nice that they validated parking for the 2525 garage behind the restaurant. Some quibbles: though they trumpet their wine list, I did expect them to have a broader selection of single malt scotches; and, it seems a bit steep price-wise. But, overall, a nice meal . . .

My wife and I have dined at this Fleming's on two occasions. Each time, we've been one of just a few patrons in the restaurant, but that says more about the nights we've gone (Sunday and Tuesday) than about the restaurant. The steaks are very good. It's prime beef, expertly seasoned and perfectly cooked. My favorite is their Peppercorn-encrusted NY Strip. My wife prefers the porcini encrusted filet. I can't say I blame her; I always sneak a few bites. We usually each have a Caesar salad, the romaine is always crisp hearts, not too heavily dressed. We usually do asparagus or broccoli for our vegetable and are never disappointed; they are either steamed or blanched then reheated in a hot water bath and drizzled with a small amount of clarified butter. They are always perfectly cooked with a excellent texture; the happy medium between crunchy and mushy. The service is usually attentive without being overly so; you can go have a romantic dinner with your significant other and not be interrupted every 5 minutes by an overzealous server. That said, they'll be there when you need them; high end servers are experts at reading body language and if you look like you need someone, someone will be with you shortly. Make sure to book online for savings and especially if you're celebrating a special occasion; they'll make sure to make the evening especially memorable with advance notice.

I'm on a quest for off-the-beaten path happy hours. Not that Fleming's is off-the-beaten path but it was a start. To begin, this review is strictly for happy hour (5 for $6 til 7) Here's the rundown: 5 glasses of wine 5 cocktails 2 for 1 on select beers 5 smaller plates free homemade potato chips burger All for $6 each The place was packed when we walked in about 5:25pm. I'm guessing a lot of people take the elevator down and grab a seat ASAP. The bar area isn't that big but it does offer an island with about 24 seats. After posting up by the bar with a $6 martini in hand we finally pounced on two open seats. I use pounced because people were seriously on it! At this point we decided to stay and try the food. We ordered a burger, seared ahi tuna and beef carpaccio. The burger came with bacon and blue cheese. My boyfriend said it was great and was satisfied. The beef carpaccio was sliced thin (thank goodness!) but the horseradish mayo was a bit excessive. It also had a small amount of greens placed on top. Even so, I was happy. The seared ahi tuna was cooked well and my only complaint is that I wish there was a soy dipping sauce. It came with wasabi instead. Would I come back, absolutely, I love a good martini and some beef carpaccio. However, if I wanted a quiet happy hour where I could chat, this would not be it.

We visited here on a Friday evening. The birthday boy had gotten us reservations for 7:30. We were promptly seated and then left sitting for a good ten minutes before we were greeted by our waiter. This lag time was the only hitch all evening. We took our sweet time ordering. I ordered a martini and my finance ordered a Mint Julep. He and his father, who ordered a mojito, thought that their drinks were too sweet. Mine obviously wasn't sweet but I've had better martinis. My fiancé and I were done with big meals so we ordered a 14 oz bone in tenderloin, a Modern Caesar salad, and carrot cake to split (because birthdays mean dessert!). Our table of five (with one person only eating sides) ordered a side of asparagus, sautéed corn, sautéed spinach, sautéed green beans, and mash potatoes. The salad was very good. The "modern" take was interesting and ended up being rather tasty. My favorite side was the asparagus and the mash potatoes, which is weird because I typically don't like mash potatoes. The asparagus was cooked properly and with too much butter, translation: excellent. The mash potatoes were creamy and had an excellent flavor. We ordered our steak medium rare and it was just that. The meat was excellent: great taste and texture. The carrot cake was delicious. Our sharing menu really worked out nicely, we walked away without feeling stuffed. Our waiter was really excellent. We brought our own bottle of wine and he opened it like a pro. He had a nice knowledge of the menu and followed all the standard rules of decorum that one expects in a nice restaurant. I'm only giving this place 4 stars because I've only visited once. I'll bump up the stars after another visit, you know because I eat at expensive steakhouses ALL the time. Joking aside, if I did want steak again I would definitely come back.

What doesn't pair well with a bottle of Caymus, delicious filet and the most amazing potatoes of all time? A cranky ass server who hates his life. Sorry no one could pick up your shift buddy, but that's not our problem. We came here to celebrate a special birthday and enjoy some wonderful food, and in the process drop a shit ton of $$. We did NOT come to this establishment to hear your gripes about how no one in the restaurant "has your back" and you "won't be doing anyone any favors". The food was FANTASTIC, but the server's poor attitude and condescending answers to any of our menu questions were pretty intolerable. You should definitely eat here, just make sure you don't get the old, angry dude with a chip on his shoulder. He will be rolling his eyes at you all night and make you feel like one big inconvenience! Life is way too short, sir, find a job that brings you some joy.

Great place for an upscale Steakhouse. They have excellent wine selections and the cuts of meat are very good. My opinion is that for a high end steakhouse you are getting a decent value for the quality of food, selection of wine, and service from the staff. Be sure to use the valet parking.... it can be very difficult to get a spot to park during the peak hours.

I just had such a great experience at Fleming's that I was compelled to share my experience right away. My husband and I went during the happy hour referred to as 5-6-7. Five appetizers for $6 before 7 p.m. We ordered 4 of the 5 dishes, and loved each of them. We ordered calamari, ahi tuna, mushroom ravioli, and a filet bacon cheeseburger. I'm still amazed that each of those items could be only $6, especially for the quality they were offering. We also topped off the meal with a dessert, the creme brulee, that was heavenly! The environment and ambiance of the restaurant didn't hurt either. It was very sheek. I also tend to judge restaurants by their restrooms, and Fleming's met the criteria. ;) To top off the entire experience, the service was impeccable. The staff makes every customer feel like a million bucks and they treat you as such. Overall, Fleming's offered a delicious meal at a reasonable price, with amazing service... what more could you want?

ribeye was great. cooked perfectly hate the shoe string fries since i hate shoe string fries onion rings were stellar and im a fry snob service at bar was top notch. i had the cheesecake there a decade ago and it was served warm. now it has berries and stuff so honestly it just seemed like any other cheesecake at a decent foodservice establishment even though made from scratch. the carrot cake was STELLAR. JEANS: OK ORDER: waitress

Another home run meal at Fleming's. My wife and I went there a recent Friday night. I got the petite filet, and it was perfectly cooked as ordered at medium rare. Their steaks are so full of flavor. Highly recommended. The sides were delicious: Fleming's potatoes (au gratin style with jalapeno), green beans and asparagus. I will say though don't get the tempura lobster. One of the folks at our table got it and said the batter was too heavy, not the light tempura she expected - I had to agree. However, I don't consider this a downer. Moral of the story: if you go to an American steak restaurant, don't get something exotic like Japanese style seafood. And as always, great service. Two thumbs up!

I am a little skeptical of chain steak restaurants in general so I went to Fleming's wondering if it would fall short of all the local owned steak places in Dallas I liked so much. But luckily it didn't disappoint me! We were there for a company sponsored dinner so we were shown to the private room area....after about a 15 minute wait because they didn't have the room set up yet. No big deal for me, but the person organizing it probably was annoyed. Upon entry a nice waiter asked if I would like chardonnay or cabernet. The cabernet was DELICOUS and I am sad I didn't get the name of it. IF only I hadn't been driving I could have consumed many more glasses of that! Appetizer consisted of a cheese plate on the table. Loved the huge hunks of bleu cheese. Interesting that it wasn't served with any crackers or bread to eat with it. Just hunks of cheese. Caesar salad was up next - creamy dressing and fresh greens. I could have used more than one measley crouton though! We had limited menu options to choose from so I had to get the ribeye (normally I would choose a filet). I pretty much devoured it and it was LARGE! (That's what she said) Very good cut of meat and cooked perfectly medium rare except on the very outside portions. I liked the mac and cheese as well but I prefer a creamier, less runny sauce. We finished out the night with creme brulee that was perfectly crunchy on the top and creamy underneath. I MAY have eaten every bite of it. Service for the large group was good. The waiters tripped me out when they would carry the plates out all stacked up on their arms up to their shoulders. Yeah, how long did they have to practice so that they don't dump a steak on someone's head? I don't know but it was quite the feat! Parking is tight in the lot but I hear there is a garage and there's also valet that was free (other than the tip). I was pleased with my first Nashville steakhouse experience and I will definitely sign up next time a company dinner comes up at Fleming's!

We love this place!!! I come here for every special occasion and for the bar specials. The manager, Ed is always charming and hospitable. Our server for this visit was awesome, I think his name was Brad. He suggested great wine that went perfectly with my steak. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Great value for the quality. This is a great place to dine if you want to have a relaxed, well paced dinner.

I always enjoy dinner at Fleming's. I have also gone to the happy hour several times now with my coworkers. It is the best, lots of cheap food and drink in a lovely atmosphere. The food is good, and the service is topnotch, even if you are just at the bar buying inexpensive things. And the drinks are delicious! Highly recommend.

I hesitate to give any restaurant 5 stars since I am always hopeful that there might be something better out there, but Flemings is so good. We went again last night for the Filet Mignon & North Atlantic Lobster Tail Dinner special that is advertised on their website which includes soup or salad and a side for $34.95--a good value relative to the regular menu. Just having some warm drawn butter in which to dip everything (lobster, filet, green beans, mashed potatoes--I couldn't quite figure out how to dip my soup in it :-) ) made the meal so wonderful. We tried the lava cake and it was a bit underwhelming after lobster--probably should have saved that for another night...

Delicious food, but the service model here is woefully inadequate for this price range - really wouldn't cut it at Chili's! A good local steakhouse or a top drawer chain (e.g., Morton's) stages seating to ensure that table service is on the ball. That just doesn't happen here. Not at all. We arrived at 6:15 for dinner with a reservation, party of 6. After a brief wait we were seated and a server promptly visited and took our drink order. But after bringing a cocktail and bottle of wine to the table, he quickly bacame harried as several other tables (our guess, without reservations) were seated immediately. We were through our drinks and well into the wine before our order was taken, and as 7:30 came and went, the appetizers/salads/soups were still no shows. But we had jumped the track before a nibble of food hit the table. My father-in-law had invited us to dinner, but I wanted to separate the bar tab and take care of that apart from the meal (long story as to why, but this was important). So - long before the apps arrived, when we ordered the second bottle of wine, I had a quick word with the waiter to ask that he split the bill - bar tab to me, dinner to father-in-law. His reponse was... ok, remind me when the bill comes. Really? Where to even begin explaining what's wrong with that. Just... really? a) who gets the bill is always a delcate subject, so a quiet word is key, and a quiet word is best said only once. b) uh, the bill is how you get paid. And tipped. Of all things to need reminding. c) you're in the weeds. remember the first law of holes (quit digging). d) insert any of a dozen other reasons here... So, imagine a fine, angry mist. When apps finally arrived, the manager came along with them to apologize for the delay but not a word about comping, adjusting, etc. So, when we were tapering off bottle number 2, I simply noted to the server that we might be a glass or two short of wine given the long wait and he allowed how they'd made an adjustment to our bill... which they did (to the food portion - DOH! Apparently you cannot comp alcohol in TN according to another dinner companion who worked in the business, so I did that to myself.) Overheard several other "...kitchen got backed up..." kind of conversations at neighboring tables (seated behind us, served ahead of us) so it wasn't just us althoguh we did seem to catch the worst of it in our section. Too bad - the food, all of it, was perfectly prepared as ordered and absolutely delicious. But it is very straight and narrow food (very little on this menu that you couldn't pretty much cook yourself) and to justify this price you need a dining expereince that supports it. Fail.

Overrated. At their price point you would have a better meal at Ruth's or Morton's. Steaks are just ok. Sides are very good, and they have possibly the best wine list in town. The service is outstanding. Bottom line, I am not going to Flemings for the sides and wine. I want a killer piece of steak. And while it is good, it is not even close to elite. It's really like paying $20 or more per head for J. Alexanders.

Fleming's may just have the happiest happy hour in town! Every night of the week they offer a promo from 5 until 7 pm that they refer to as "5 for $6 'til 7". If you sit at the bar, there are 5 wines, 5 cocktails, and 5 appetizers that will set you back just $6 apiece. You can also order the Fleming burger (with bacon & cheese) for $6 too. I ask you, where else in town can you get a better deal?!? I had always assumed Fleming's would be out of my league pricewise, but this promo caused me and a group of friends to visit and I'm so glad we did. The drinks were potent AND delicious (love the Clear Cosmo, and for those counting calories, they also have a 99 calorie martini called Tickled Pink), and the food was also divine. The calamari was both generous and some of the best we have ever had and the burger was really substantial and clearly made of quality beef. I admit that I overindulged, knocking back 3 cocktails, but when my bill only came to $18, I felt my decadent ways were a good investment! I also have to say that the two staff members who waited on us were really solicitous and clearly concerned with giving us the best possible experience, which helped add to our happy buzz. The atmosphere at Fleming's is quietly classy, with a "good old boys club" kind of vibe in terms of decor, but hey, this place is a steakhouse, so I guess that makes sense. It may not have that trendy urban feel that I generally gravitate towards, but it certainly doesn't feel staid or outdated either. The biggest downside is that parking is generally a nightmare/non-existant, but thankfully there is complimentary valet provided, which is probably your best bet. All in all, the happy hour here is an experience not to be missed. I intend to make Fleming's a regular haunt, and the next time I'm thinking of splurging on a fancy dinner, I'll definitely consider coming here post 7 pm or for non-bar dining.

Pablo and I out on one of our 3 times a year Happy Hour Crawl. Start furthest away from home, Flemings meals are great but this is about happy hour. Friday 5.00pm-7.00pm. $5 martinis and appetisers and good ones. Small bar area but comfortable .1 Portion of sweet chilli calamari with banana peppers and a shared slightly dirtly martini with three blue cheese olives and a splash of grapefruit to take the edge of the 'tini and Ta Da, $10 well spent. The service is first class here, quite the best in town whether you spend $10 or $500. The second best happy hour in Nashville and the best of the corporate steak places.

My boss gave me a gift card for this place that I'd heard a little bit about. I'd never really seen it and knew anyone who was a fan. We went for Happy Hour. They have teriffic deal Call 5 for 6 til 7. It is exactly what it sounds like 5 items for 6 dollars each until 7 pm everyday. Can't beat that. a FULL plate. not half or a taste. The real deal. 5 items are in the categories of 5 appetizers to choose from, five Main Courses to choose from, aslo Desserts and Drinks. Its is touched about by borders bookstore by Vanderbilt. Its nicely done and defiantely a "fancy" place which I tend to like mainly because I'm fancy. However, my pockets are not as fancy as I am soooo....if that fits you. This is a great place to go to start a date or catch up friends. Atmosphere is nice and the crowd is a bit older. as in they just moved out of the young professional box. hope this helps. FYI - the food is great!!

Having been to most of Nashville's steakhouses (Mortons, Ruth's Chris, Capitol Grille, The Palm) as well as other good places, Fleming's cannot be topped. From the service to the food and wine it was all top notch. Server was knowledgeable yet low key and unpretentious. While I typically don't seek out chain restaurants and Nashville has some really great local places, I will definitely return here again. For the money, I personally have not ever had a better meal and experience excepting Chicago and Maui.

The reason why I give this restaurant 4 stars is because of the ambiance, otherwise It's merely a three star, at best. The steak was just ok. I had the peppercorn ny strip which was seasoned nicely but forgettable. The restaurant, I guess prides itself on the tenderness of their steaks because they didn't bring out a steak knife. All the way had to cut a semi-tough steak with a butter knife. Had the macaroni and cheese and creamed spinach as sides. Needless to say, they, along with dessert, were the highlights of the meal. The lava cake with ice cream was very good. The drinks are good too. Wouldn't go back for dinner because the food is overpriced. I'll try again for happy hour though.

Went for my birthday...great wine list and nice ambiance...service was top notch...steaks were great as well...they took $25 off of bill for reserving online...then gave me 2 gift cards of $50 to use on my next visit...overall I had a pretty good experience...I will definitely return...but I must say Stoney River is still our No #1 spot for steaks in the Ville...have yet to try the other high end steakhouses but they are on our list...think I will hit the happy hour @ Flemings I hear it's pretty nice!

We absolutely love Fleming's. Every single one of them we've been to (Phoenix, Nashville, Newport Beach) and every single experience we've had, has been stellar! My husband and I are big Prime steak lovers and Fleming's delivers every single time! Though their main dining is expensive (we get their Prime Ribeye, rare of course, and it's $40) their happy hour is to die for! It's called, 5 for $6 til '7 and you simply MUST GO! See their menu at the bottom (the cocktails and wine do change). We always get the same exact thing... and we always have intentions of trying something new, but it never happens. What we normally get is just THAT good. Our happy hour indulgence consists of: 2 glasses of Cava Sparkling Wine (their sparkling wine glasses are very cool... they sort of look like those tall cylinder, skinny, flower vases, we like em), then we move to their Cabernet. We generally snack on their delicious potato chips (if you don't see them, just ask). For the finale, we order their Carpaccio. It is UNBELIEVABLE. Not only is it perfectly cold, garnished with delicious capers, arugula, and sauce... it comes with these amazing little baguettes that have cheese broiled onto them. They are truly delightful. On occasion, we'll splurge during happy hour and split the delicious ribeye that I mention above and they are happy to set your place right at the bar (or at one of their bar tables). Carnivores and alcoholics (or aspiring alcoholics) delight....this is your place. We use to frequent Flemings for work dinners where service was great, the steak was well prepared and sides were generous. Unlike other nameless places (initials "Ruth Chris") steaks aren't slathered in butter, they aren't pretentious and you can get any funky combination of toppings on steaks or sides you can imagine. Bringing on a whole new dimension was the addition of happy hour in the last year. And damn, it sure is happy. With arguably the best bacon cheeseburger in this city for $6, free house chips, $5-$7 drink specials this place packs them in so get there at 5. Business folks, fear not, they still will seat you comfortably away from the bar so you can hide from the under $30 Happy Hour crowd if you're there for a real meal. The restaurant is spacious, offers private rooms and I have yet to meet a cocktail here that I didn't like. Happy hour folks, go for the Ahi appetizer while dinners should delight in both steak and fish as the mahi and salmon are all perfectly prepared. Timing of the meals is freakishly good and they aim to make it a great experience. You won't get anything 'noveau' here, but if you want a cow on a plate and some wine...this is your place. Get some delicious shoe string fries for fun and try to just eat 5 or 10.

We went there on our first date. The location for this restaurant is weird - you have to go up one level with an excalator. I ordered scallops, he ordered steak. These were not the best scallops I have ever eaten, but were pretty good. We also ordered French onion soup and their Fleming Salad. The salad was disappointing - not much on the plate, and just kind of blah - I expected more from their name salad. Both main dishes though were very good, and the spreads they brought with bread were excellent and flavourful. We also discovered a lovely wine there called Raymond, from Napa valley. The place is very pricey, but the quality of food is good.

Came here for dinner mid-week with a group of five. Our hotel called and made reservations and we got right in. Excellent food and excellent service. Hadn't heard of Fleming's before but apparently this is what is expected here and they don't disappoint. Had a 12 oz Filet, medium with a loaded baked potato on the side. All cooked perfectly. Lots of flavor. Many of the sides come family style (not the baked potatoes). One of our party is a vegetarian and found several side orders that suited her - Mac & Cheese, and a potatoes au gratin dish. 5 stars because there was nothing about the experience that was negative.

This is my first time going to a proper steak house and I'm not really a chain kind of gal, so read my impressions with that in mind. I found the steak to be fantastic and as you would expect there is about every variation of steak for one to go seriously carnivorous on. My hang up about it is that for the price, there is not that much in terms of innovation. The sides don't have much flavor, salads are blah, and apps pretty much fried hodge podge of stuff you can get just about anywhere. The wine selection is good but not very innovative. I'm giving it 3 stars because I've had steak at other chef owned restaurants around town that rivaled what I got at the here with much more unique and well rounded fare to make the whole dining experience memorable.

Thoroughly enjoyed my Fleming's experience as my dad and I took my mom here for Mother's Day. We had reservations and were seated right away. When we first walked in, we were instantly greeted by very well-dressed hostesses. We didn't have to wait more than 30 seconds before our server greeted us and took our drink orders. I knew I wanted a glass of wine with my meal, so I asked our server for a recommendation within a price range. He suggested the perfect wine pairing with my steak, a Kenwood. Not too pricey, and just perfect. We ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer and they were succulent, perfectly cooked, not too much bread-crumb inside leaving room for lots of crab meat. Perfectly portioned too. For the entree, I ordered the NY Strip grilled medium, Pittsburgh style and it came out PERFECT! Charred on the outside and medium on the inside. So juicy and tender that it is in the top 3 steaks that I've had in my life. For the side, I ordered the French green beans, and they were delectable. Cooked with almonds, mushrooms, and truffle oil, they were the perfect pair for the steak. Service was wonderful and as a gift to my mom, the server gave her some amazing truffles and a $25 gift card for a future experience. Highly recommend Fleming's.

oh dear, where do i begin? i used to LOVE you flemings. we've had several amazing occassions including an anniversary that you provided homemade truffles for. however, this past anniversary we booked on opentable- big mistake apparently! the reservation wasn't in the system! luckily they knew they've had problems with this and had a table for us. they asked if we were celebrating anything special and we said anniversary. however, they forgot to tell our server, because no truffles this time. :( our server was "in the weeds." he left the menus on the table after taking our order. his assistant "jose" or something like that was only filling up waters and unable to take any orders or requests. why have an assistant if they can't tag team? the steak was meh and the lobster tempura had WAAAY too much batter. gees, how can you screw up lobster? the wine was decent and the salad was a little sparse with the dressing. won't be back for a long time. sad. very sad. because you used to be just marvelous fleming's. :(

We ate and it was poor. A Monday and it was 20 minutes to get water and bread. Another 10 and they took our drink and appetizer order. We ordered our steak and sides. The baked Brie was good but the caprese salad was terrible. Grape tomatoes and dry mozerella. The lite filets were good, but the sliced filet was raw. When it came back, it was well done. The asparagus were greasy as we're the green bean. The Sperrys potatoes were good. After waiting an hour for my glass of wine, when the waiter walked by,I asked for the check. A definite waste of 2.5 hours. No service here.

Love it. I've been about five times now and every time I've gone, I swear I dream about the lava cake and Mac and cheese. By the way, their filet and ribeye are incredible too. The service has always been attentive and quick to make things right if anything for some reason wasn't up to par. This has become my husband's and my "treat" or celebration location. Highly recommend a trip.

Unfortunately, I must take back my previous good review of Flemings due to my most recent visit. We are regulars here. Yet, the past couple times have been slowly declining. Last night was the last straw. Here are the reasons: 1. Took 15 minutes to bring us a bottle of wine. 2. I ordered from the Prix Fix menu which included scallops. 3. The first order of scallops were hockey pucks and the side of orzo was burnt. I sent it back (and I NEVER send things back). 4. The second order of scallops were frozen in the middle. Orzo still burnt. I sent it back AGAIN. 5. The third order was edible. But by that time I lost my appetite. Orzo still burnt. The manager came by and comped my half of the meal gave us a gift certificate. Then they forgot to bring our dessert. We won't be back and Flemings and they lost two good patrons. Anyone need a gift certificate?

The BF and I went here last weekend b/c if you book online, you get $25 off a minimum $50 order. We also had a $50 giftcard so we decided to go for it. The food is awesome. We got the NY Strip and Filet medium rare, wow is that good. We also got sides: mash potatoes and mushrooms. YUM! No dessert though b/c I don't like chocolate that much and it was a lava cake. Came out to $85 after taxes and discount. Ouch wallet. This is a luxury for us so we can't do this a lot, but when we do splurge, it's great!

Just had our anniversary dinner there. Very nice staff (only slight downside is that while at other locations when they would congratulate us on an anniversary or remember our names, at this one they looked like they were reading off a cue card), AMAZING food... definitely worth the pricepoint pinch.

Flemings, for a chain, should have stronger training and QC practices amongst it's many locations. This location was particularly disappointing to our group of 11, who have visited the likes of McCormick & Schmicks, Ruth's Chris, and Smith & Wollensky in the last few months. Even compared to my last Flemings visit in Phoenix, this place was more like a Chili's than a high-end steakhouse. What was the problem? A mediocre wait staff, a slow kitchen, a disorganized FOTH, and hostesses with attitude. On a half-full Thursday night house, timing was off, courtesy and respect were forgotten, and basic hygiene was ignored. Could I be oversensitive? Maybe. But for $50 a steak, I expect the following: - prompt, courteous greeting upon entry and after the announcement of our reservation - a hostess that, when seating our group, ensures everyone's comfort and courteously speaks to all members of the group - a server/waiter that presents himself professionally, speaks clearly and enunciates, and uses speech that is appropriate for the classy environment in which he serves - a kitchen that understands how to properly time a large group order and prioritize according to the same standard as a small order - the delivery of our on-menu food order IN LESS THAN HALF AN HOUR'S WAIT - a bussing or support staff that keeps their fingers off the plates when serving - a server/waiter that ensures each member of a group RECEIVES THE CORRECT ENTREE AND SIDE DISH before disappearing - a server/waiter that performs a PROPER CHECKBACK! That really sums up the issues. I provided two stars in my review for properly trimming and cooking my steak, and for keeping our wine and water glasses full. But these praises are a basic expectation anyway, so it's difficult to celebrate a standard service from a steakhouse that touts itself as a premier destination restaurant. Shame on you, Fleming's of Nashville.

Had a wonderful birthday meal here with friends last week! The ambiance and food is far superior to the Palm steakhouse in downtown. It was my first time at this location and it certainly won't be my last. I am a regular at the steakhouses in town and I was impressed by the quality/cut of the meat and the perfect seasoning. Not over-seasoning the steaks are key in letting the natural flavor of the beef shine through, and that certainly was the case here. I can not gush enough about the fantastic service I received. Every server and hostess managed to wish me a Happy Birthday, followed by a delicious complimentary chocolate cake and very thoughtful origami flowers from one of the servers. My friends and I loved the food and the kind friendly service. We would highly recommend Flemings over The Ruth Chris or Palms in Nashville. Cut is overpriced, Watermark has really gone downhill....and Kayne Prime is kida over hyped with big price tags. Stoney River and Mortons are still a good consistent alternative if you can't go to Flemings. Thank you Fleming's staff for making my meal so amazing!

The happy hour is the best thing for a single young female. Their 5-6-7 rocks. They, unlike their upscale counterparts include cocktails in their happy hour. The cocktails are strong and good. I went to Flemings twice last week. I sat in the bar area both times. Beth and Matt are awesome, knowledgeable bartenders. When I went on Wednesday, I let the bartenders know that I planned to return on Friday with a larger group and I asked if they could assist with the seating. The bartenders said that they would help accommodate us and unlike other restaurants, they remembered and came through for me. That is a huge plus in my book. Now on to the food and cocktails- Wednesday, I orders the Pomtini, which rocks. My sister ordered the Tickled Pink which was advertised as being only 99 calories. I tasted it, and I didn't like the fake sugary taste to it. But I am not a diet or splenda type of girl. I like all of the million calories inside of my cocktails. :-) I ordered the seared ahi tuna and my sister order the Prime burger. The portions were nice for the price that we paid. Well worth it! The tuna was perfectly cooked and it was served with a spicy mustard sauce. I love spice in my life, so I loved the sauce. The Prime burger was HUGE! It was served with 2 huge onion rings. The burger is the best thing on the apps menu for the price. It will totally help you if you plan to drink several of those $6 cocktails. The next time I go to Flemings I will definitely try the Prime burger. All in all, even when the restaurant got packed with the after work crowd, the service was still excellent. Friday, I ordered another Pomtini to start off with. I ended up switching to the Tropical cocktail. Beth made it will blueberries instead of the cherry which made the flavor even better. I started off with the bar b que shrimp. The shrimp was a nice size, but it was completely different from the New Orleans style bbq shrimp. Although it was different, I loved it. I tried the calamari next. I wasn't as pleased with this dish so I shared to the girls at my table. I didn't like how the calamari was pre-tossed in the sauce instead of having it on the side to dip into. After a while, the calamari had a soggy feel to it. If I was to order it again, I would ask the chef to put the sauce on the side. Again the service from Matt and Beth was wonder. They were patient with the larger group that I brought and very attentive. As soon as our cocktails got low, one of them were there to ask if we wanted a refill. I recommend this place to anyone.

This is one of the places I go when someone else is paying. It wouldn't be my first choice with my own money, but if you want a really good steak, a phenomenal steak even, with above average sides (a la carte of course), a fantastic salad and equally amazing dessert, then you can probably count on Fleming's to deliver the goods. It's a chain, so it has the consistency of a chain, and it does feel like one inside, but not in a cheap Motel 6 kind of way, more like a Hyatt or Hilton way. You know what you will get is good and you know what it will be. This was the first place I ever tasted Creme Brulee, which is now my absolute favorite, would be part of my last meal, dessert, and Fleming's did it so perfectly that I am now ridiculously picky about how it should be made and served. Fleming's is not outrageously expensive, but the quality is a cut above (pun intended) most chain steakhouses.
