Regardless of your opinions of the food quality, one thing is hard to deny...Fat Mo's delivers on the fat. These are gargantuan burgers, which I'll admitted sounded a little gimmicky at first. Anyone can slap together a massive pile of ground beef. Fortunately, Mo's did not disappoint. With a "When In Rome..." mentality going in, I took on the "Super Deluxe" burger, which pledges to be at least 16 oz. I didn't bust out my scales, but the visual inspection alone would suggest that Mo's certainly didn't skimp. Actually, I wasn't so tempted by the Super Deluxe's size as I was by its fixins: loved the mushrooms, loved the grilled onions and jalapenos, and while I was a bit worried that the BBQ sauce was going to drown out the burger, they were quite conscious of that potential catastrophe and put just enough on. Also, the bacon actually tasted like bacon, which you'd think wouldn't be asking for much, but a lot of burger joints don't seem to understand this fundamental concept. In spite of the burger's awesomeness, though, what I am still thinking about the most are those seasoned fries. Why do so few places seem to understand the crispy-outside, smooth-inside standard to which all fries should be held? Fortunately, Mo's could probably produce a textbook on this topic. Even if you're not a burger person, stop by for a side of fries.

Went here for lunch today and ordered a little Mo combo. Food was okay nothing special. Finished eating my meal and finished the Mt. Dew took the cover of my drink to chomp on the ice and found 3 fruit flies/gnats in my drink cup. Can you say disgusting?!? I immediately wanted to vomit. Will never return that's for sure.

My husband and I love the food quality, the giant parking lot & 99 cent specials! Ok; maybe just the food...

The only reason this place gets 4 instead of 5 is the parking....which is in and of itself a little charming. Fat Mo's burgers are the bomb. Big juicy greaseburgers like the ones I grew up on, with all kinds of add-ons that just add to the delicious fun. And can we agree that its' just too cool to have a burger place named after a dude nicknamed Mo? When we drive through Nash on our way to Knox, my wife knows the go-to stopover for lunch is Fat Mo's. It's now ascended to tradition status.

The drive thru. Instead of shouting my order into some half-working intercom, this guy walks up to my car with a pad and pencil. He answers all my questions. Says what's most popular. I got a Number 5: half-pound cheeseburger with everything (lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions) and their seasoned fries. I love the fact that my order was handed to me in one of those styrofoam tray containers. None of this fishing fries out of a paper bag. Amazingly greasy-slightly-above-average-generously-portioned-reasonably-priced fast food. I'm going back.

If you are in a hurry and want to avoid all of the national fast food chains, this may be the choice for you! The location on Whitebridge Rd is a drive-thru only with a few picnic tables outside. The place is not much of a looker, but the employees are friendly and provide good service. They are slower that the average drive-thru, but that also means your food will be fresh and hot. I usually order one of two burgers on the menu, either the Fat Mo (1/2 pound) or the Little Mo (1/4 pound). Mo's will fix the burgers exactly how you like them. If you do not eat bread like me, they will gladly throw in a knife and fork. I like the regular fries over the seasoned fries. They also have many other items on the menu that look good, but have seldom tried. I would go more often if they had dining inside, I really do not like to eat in my vehicle. They package their meals in Styrofoam trays, which is good for keeping the food warm if you are taking it home.

The burger tasted very good, quite like homemade. Fries were thin and almost like potato sticks. Didn't like. Burger upset my stomach. Won't be going back.

This Fat Mo's is probably just as good as any of the other Fat Mo's around Nashville, but since it seems to be the only one without a review, I thought I'd put it on the map. Pros: Satisfies that intense craving for a good, solid heart attack. If you want to die a slightly slower but just as joyful death, go for the deluxe (not the super deluxe). There is something magical that they do to the beef. Maybe it's just black pepper, maybe it's pixie dust. But it's delicious. (Think of it as a pimped out Burger King.) Cons: Doesn't satisfy that craving late at night (because this location closes too early). Also, warning: be prepared to hate yourself if you dare to finish an entire burger.

Fat Mo's is yet another part of Nashville I have grown up with. I don't know where you can get a better corn dog in my opinion. The food is obviously greasy as hell, but are you eating a burger and hot dog to be healthy? Of course not! Either way Fat Mo's is a cool concept it is probably the last only drive thru or order and eat outside type places in town. If you are looking for a good fast food burger and fries, look no further this is one of the better ones in town.

Ok, we've seen this place on the corner of Charlotte Pike and White Bridge so many times and today decided to try it out since they have a sign on the side of the place "voted #1 burger in town." So here goes, we stopped by for Sunday lunch, there was no line, not a good sign since most people seem to go out to eat on Sunday's. Next, we ordered our food (Fat Mo's Cheeseburger and Lil Cheeseburger and spicy fries). We got our meal and headed home. At first, it looks like a regular burger (a step up from McDonald's) and then you take a bite. My husband and I both agreed that this was not the #1 burger in town. In fact the burger tasted chewy. I really don't like to give bad reviews but this place is not a place I will ever be going back too. Maybe the other food is better but if you have a sign that says you have the #1 burger in town, you should be really darn close to having some AMAZING food.
