Dunkin Doughnuts pulled out of Nashville initially in the mid 80's if I remember correctly. The only thing I recall about them were their stores here were terrible - in the sanitary sense, I was a kid, they provided sugar, I can't comment on anything much else. My next Dunkin Doughnuts experience came in 1997 in New York, it was particularly bad - stale doughnuts and horrid coffee. Krispy Kreme opened and that's all you heard about up there - how good it was. I, not being a part of the doughnut wars, thought perhaps that maybe DD just was not for me. Someone in Nashville really wanted Dunkin's coffee badly enough to get a franchise license and open up a store here, at least that's how I remember their return to Nashville. I had no interest at the time in trying again as the coffee / doughnut experience I had last was not worth re-trying. 2006, I get taken to another DD in Sandusky Ohio and was amazed. So amazed I go back for seconds just to try more things because I was amazed that this was what it was supposed to be. I vow to give DD in Nashville another chance. 2010 I remember I completely forgot my vow to give DD another chance when I was tasked with picking up coffee for a charity event. Went to this particular location, ordered a bug old thing of coffee and a few dozen assorted doughnuts. By the time I got to the doughnuts they were not within an hour window which I would generally judge doughnuts by, but they were ok... they seemed a little dry for hour to two hour old doughnuts, but ok. The coffee was good, but I don't believe that it was better than purchasing Dunkin' Doughnuts coffee at the store and brewing it yourself. Dunkin on Harding scored a big solid OK - it's sort of what I expect business travelers are used to as staple foods. I'll try it again some day, next time I'm over there and in the mood for some doughnutage and can get to the items within an hour. I also had some sort of veggie breakfast item there that I cannot recall except that it was ok. Was not in the class, at that time, as the great DD I had in Sandusky... but who knows, perhaps I hit on an off day. Overall good...

Slowest service I have ever received anywhere, but the employees were polite and friendly. Make sure to use the drive-thru if in a hurry.

Tony and I love Dunkin Donuts and try to eat here at least once a month for breakfast. I always get the "EVERYTHING" Bagel with Cream Cheese but my drink varies on the weather...and Tony gets usually a large black coffee and 2 donuts, Apple anything and a chocolate glazed donut..but sometimes we vary This Thursday, November 8, 2012. we stopped and I got my usual but he added a Smoked Sausage with Egg and cheese English Muffin, and I added the Pumpkin Muffin..good food.. I just wanted to share the pictures I took !! If you get a chance, stop in and try their new Smoked Sausage English Muffin or their seasonal Pumpkin Muffin..you won't be let down!!!! Awesome is all I can say!!!

So I come from the Boston area where Dunkin is THE place to go. And yes I'm hooked on coolatas. I come to Nashville often to visit my children and really would like to get a decent coolata. Tried this store, got one that was white. When I questioned it I was told they could put more coffee into it, which they did, causing it to be "beige" ( It's supposed to be coffee colored). Not wanting to cause trouble I took it, but ended up throwing it out. Next day my husband went back with a picture of how it's supposed to look like and I got a fairly decent one after a discussion with the manager and all employees. To give them their due, it was free of charge. But shouldn't they all be made the same, all over the country? I'm giving up until I go back home.

Boo, I mentioned the service previously, and with the few really great folks there didn't ding them any for it....but, now I have consistently had an issue with them goofing my order and what's worse, is they say they didn't. I always order a medium hot coffee, half decaf/ half regular cream and sugar. Nearly every time in recent history it has been either all decaf, all regular or missing some element of the order. This morning, I asked them when I got to the window if it was in fact half and half to which I was assured it was....well it isn't and this isn't the first time. I see a long long list of selections on the side of the not-so-environmentally-conscious cup where you can mark what the coffee has, why don't they use this??! I will continue to come here hopeful they get it right more often than not, but I have to say a simple marker and some communication could save me the frustration.

If you have not had a Dunkin' Donuts' Toasted Coconut donut, you are missing out. Get one, and you will not ever regret it. Then again, they might put crack in them, they are that good. So, I dig Dunkin Donuts in general as a product. I'm not sure if that bias is affecting my rating here. The product is good... breakfast sandwiches, donuts. I'm not much of a coffee person, but theirs if decent. Then again, I think most coffee is only decent. I usually come here in the morning on the way to work. The service is good and the people are friendly in the morning. I went there one afternoon and the service was meh. The guy there seemed very uninterested in doing anything, much less helping me out.

For a while there, I was depending on D&D for my breakfast most week days. Most of the time everything was just great. Occasionally they were training a newbie. Rarely did they get my order wrong, but when they did I called them and they gave me a free replacement meal when I returned. I don't care about the coffee, I'm a (West Coast) Peet's Coffee kinda girl. But the coisant breakfast sandwiches were deeelicious!

Besides the awesome coffee and breakfast food, the service is always fantastic. Keep up the great job. And if you are over this way, stop in. Thumbs up.

Poor customer service by the afternoon gentleman. Same guy. Seems to always be working alone. No one is ever in inside. I have to cross the busy street to get the coffee. I'm always put on hold. I seem to inconvience the guy when I ask what flavored syrups they have (yes, and it IS for the coffee...duh), and he has no sense of customer service. I feel like I'm driving through a BP gas station (unfriendly, cold, nonAmerican). It's my last visit there. I'd rather go to McDonald's across the street. There are so many other places to get coffee. Pass this location for sure!
