Who's up for a big ol' delicious brick in their stomach to digest all afternoon? The Barney Rubble is the best shake, but they've got lots to choose from. As Cindy W. mentioned, it's a little divey inside but don't let than run you off. The staff is usually cheerful and the decor is enjoyable in a retro kitsch kind of way. This place is WAY too convenient from my office.

Super delicious food, but such a long wait. It opens at 11, and the two times I've been, I arrived at 11:02, and was first or second in line but still waited 25 minutes for my food. If you're a lunch place that's only open 11-4 FOR LUNCH, and you're that busy, hire more people! Usually, after a 25 minute wait there's tons of people behind me. I'd hate to think of how long they wait! Other then that, the burgers and onion rings are so good, and I love the milkshakes! Super thick and yummy!

Good location in Downtown Nashville. Strengths: Good food. I had the chili and fries. Fries are homemade and some of best in Nashville. Opportunities: Music played is way too loud and does not even match the theme of the restaurant. Service is not rude, but I wouldn't say its friendly either. Summary: Great place for lunch walking distance from downtown.

The only reason I didn't give five stars is the appearance of the interior, which is a bit off-putting. If management will replace the floor tiles, replace or cover the tables, get new chairs, and generally renew and decorate, it will look like the home of the great food it serves. I have been a fan of the original Bobbie's on Charlotte for years. I am vegetarian, and am happy that they will make any of their burger varieties with a black bean burger. The veggie chili is great, as are the beer batter onion rings, sweet potato fries, and regular fried. Their soft serve dipped ice cream and milkshakes are wonderful. I am so glad there is a downtown location!
