This place is amazing. To be honest, I wasn't really sure of what to expect when I walked in the door as there were not many people at 11am on a Friday. However, I am so glad I found this little gem of a place. If you are in the mood for a sandwich, salad, soup, or baked good, you can't beat Benton's Cafe. They have a large selection of sandwich for both the carnivorous and veggie lovers. I was shocked to see they were growing their own herbs to use in their creations and this freshness was obvious with the first bite. You can tell Aaron, the man behind the counter, knows what he is doing when he creates new items. My sandwich, apple, and tea was the perfect amount of food for a quick lunch before heading back to the office. However the longer I sat there, the more I kept drooling. I simply had to have a brownie to take with me. I am glad I made this choice as these are not your typical Cisco product, but pure perfection made with love and talent. It was mentioned that chocolate chip cookies were being made, and I just might have to stop by this afternoon for a weekend treat. This has become my new lunch spot as I work my way through the menu. Keep up the great work and I will see you soon.

I love Benton's!!! I usually order something from breakfast or lunch on a regular basis. They have a wide variety and it's good. My favorite part of going, is talking with Benton and his sidekick/employee (So sorry, I can't remeber his name). They are great guys and they are fast with dispersing orders.

A guy named Benton (unrelated to Benton's Bacon) opened this because he likes cafes and he likes Music Row. Benton's is in a tall building across from ASCAP in the roundabout with the dancing naked statues. Anyway, Bentons has delicious wraps with good ingredients; try the Aunt Sally turkey wrap. Sandwiches, salads, yogurt parfaits and breakfast items are all handy to neighboring folk. Occasional acoustic music is also sometimes there.

I absolutely love this place. Nowhere else will the employees bend over backwards to make sure you have exactly the order you want. They take pride in their business and treat their customers SO well! Mark (Marcus?) always puts a smile on my face with his friendliness and positive attitude. He remembers names and faces like you wouldn't believe! The food is killer - get the chicken salad sandwich. I'll continue to give them my business (and keep bringing friends) for as long as I possibly can. :)

I have been to Bentons twice now with a groupon I had purchased.... both times have been a great experience! 1st time was for lunch their soup and sandwiches were delish and now I can say the same about their breakfast. I had a vanilla latte and a bacon biscuit this morning. Yum yum! And I forgot to mention how nice the guys are there!!! Greet you as soon as you walk up:) will defiantly be back!!

Great place for lunch! The sandwiches are so fresh and very delicious. The cafe is very clean and has a wide variety of options. I suggest trying the Houdini! The gentleman that works there is also super friendly and will switch up ingredients for you! A+

Friendly staff, lovely natural lighting, fresh herbs, and delicious salads and sandwiches made to order at reasonable prices. I'm a fan. Oh, they also have espresso drinks. Only con I could complain about is the menu is not posted online. I like that this little gem is rather undiscovered (first floor of an office bldg) because it is a nice, quiet place to eat and never has much of a line. :)

I don't usually add a review for a place I didn't get to try: only when it makes me angry, and this place has done it. I've tried going to this place three times, and all three times, I've found it closed outside of my expectations. The first time I showed up, it was in the evening, so it was closed. Fine, it's evening. People usually don't drink coffee at night. I noted the hours and moved on. The second time it was closed, in spite of the hours I checked, because there was a sign that announced summer hours. There are new places that have announced summer hours, and I think that's nonsense. If you've been open four months, you haven't been around long enough to establish your normal hours. Whatever. The third time I showed up, it was the Friday before memorial day, and there was a sign that said they closed early. Now they're not even honoring the new hours they've set up for themselves. I don't care it was memorial day weekend. The FOURTH time I showed up, it was in the morning, no holiday, and clearly within the set hours. This time, they said they were closed for a private event: that does it. There was no one besides a photographer in the place, it was quiet. I went and went and went, and I simply could not get served. I get the feeling that they do their thing on their own time, and if it doesn't work out for the customer, teckwitcha!

So my husband comes home one night raving about this bagel that was so good that it could have ended world hunger by itself or something. Said he was going to HAVE to take me to this place. That day finally came. I picked him up for work and we drove over to Demonbruen. This place is in the Roundabout Plaza (or the JP Morgan building, whatever you wanna call it). There is a parking garage that you can park in for free for 30 minutes; after that it is $2/hour. They do breakfast, lunch, and coffee. A lot of the sandwiches looked really good, but what I got was nothing special. I got the 'Pickle-me-perfect,' and it was just a turkey sandwich with pickles, jalapenos, banana peppers, and mustard. I could have made that. It was somewhere between $6 and $7, too! The people who work there are friendly enough, and the iced mocha my husband had was really good, but I don't see myself trekking to this place when I'm too lazy to make my own sandwich.
